24 newsies on the bus together going to the mall? the bus is rowdy af but luckily they’re the only ones on the bus. the bus driver isn’t even mad: he thinks the young whippersnappers are fun and he misses being a teenager.

Tommy Boy, fashionista that he is, wants new suspenders. He also only ever shops from Tommy Hilfiger, for obvious reasons

Elmer and Buttons want to get matching socks

Romeo is feeling especially single and wants some new "victims" (as Davey calls them)

Specs has lost YET ANOTHER pair of shoes

Jack insists on coffee first. If he's going to have to deal with the whole squad in one place at one time, he needs caffeine

JoJo also has a small coffee and immediately starts BUZZING

Davey is assigned the duty of Keep JoJo Still Until He Calms Down. Neither boy is particularly ecstatic about this, but luckily it only takes abouve 10 minutes for the effects of the "hot bean juice," as JoJo so poetically phrased, to wear off

Race, Albert and Finch wander off from the group and end up at the arcade, where they spend half the money they brought. Race walks away with a nerf gun, Albert gets a blow-up sword, and Finch leaves with a giant stuffed starfish. He isn't sure exactly what he'll do with it, but he is extremely proud of his prize. They go back the next week, this time taking the littles.

Kenny has to be talked out of blowing his life's savings on shoes

The twins get lost 5 minutes into the outing, but are eventually found at the drone store

Mush applies for a bunch of different retail jobs because the bowling alley he was working at was closing down. He's immediately hired at West49 just for being an amazing person. He gets teased for working at a "fuckboy" store, but he gets everyone free clothes anyways. Race takes the clothes as an invitation to be a fuckboy

Crutchie refuses to use elevators because he's "not a goddamn pansy"

Les somehow talks Davey into buying him yet another Lego set

"How, Jack? I save up money to buy a new shirt because I actually need one and I end up buying more Star Wars sets! Les hasn't even SEEN Star Wars!!"

Appalled that half the boys have never seen Star Wars, Henry buys the DVD pack (including Rogue One and Solo) and insisted on a "Star Wars Binging Extravaganza"

Blink loves window shopping. It's not that he doesn't have any money, he just doesn't really spend it. He'd rather look at clothes than actually buy them. Besides, he prefers thrifting. He just goes along to the mall because he likes hanging out with his friends. He always drags Buttons, JoJo and Elmer to the thrift store after anyway

Everyone meets up at the Dairy Queen to get ice cream before leaving
