#sonadow #shadow takes his job very seriously #do not test a guy who has a 20 step skincare routine #sonic is definitely a scruffy little thing who damn near never brushes himself #shadow will make sure!!! that he is left shiny and smelling like freshly ironed laundry instead of dirt #idk there is something so....cute about this that i have never thought about before and i think shadow despite being a hybrid is #much better at doing things like this and less bashful compared to sonic who is just a stinky guy by default #he would be grumpy but very nurturing. i think it would give him a sense of calm to bond like this #sonics of course a little taken aback at his enthusiasm but its a pleasantly welcome surprise from someone like shadow esp #idk what level the relation between them would have to have progressed to for sth like this to even happen but yknow #simply. when he licc. it makes my heart melt #i almost cried drawing this.....i love shadow....#almost forgot to tag #sonic the hedgehog #shadow the hedgehog #my art

veilguard having woke necromancy but still sending skeletons to work in the necropolis' corpse gulag - ghoulag if you will - is such a bizarre choice and also frankly quite hilarious because you can tell that they didn't want to commit to anything fucked up and unethical because why would they

oh no we don't *actually* resurrect dead people against their will. these are just wisps who have no prior memory of being a sentient being. skeletons are just empty vessels because the essence of that person left so it's not actually questionable for us to use people's remains. also people fill out consent forms to be resurrected and used in the ghoulag. also yes only good people can become a lich because the lichlords - that we somehow have now - do some serious soul sifting and ONLY the people with good intentions - like reading books for the rest of all eternity - are allowed to become a lich. no emmrich having a little skeleton servant isn't unethical because he wasn't a person before, he was a wisp - you know our new ex machina - and he really wanted to be a necromancers servant and learn and it was HIS choice all along.

because we at bioware are all about informed and consensual necromancy because why would we have something morally ambiguous going on? or even actually question the ethics of our companions? have challenging discussions about morals? what do you expect us to do? make things actually interesting?

cat!zai being the cat that's a menace, but at the same time he's clingy and refuses to leave Chuuya alone so much that he hops into one of Chuuya's coat pockets and gets to tag along when Chuuya goes to the pm headquarters

Chuuya doesn't realize Dazai's been with him the whole time because he never noticed the extra weight in his coat until Chuuya's in a meeting, he has his coat hanging over his chair, and Dazai's head slowly pops out of it to look around. Dazai gets lured out by the smell of baked goods, but the meeting's interrupted when Mori turns to look at Chuuya, confused

Mori: "Is that a...cat? I didn't know you were bringing a guest with you, today."

And Mori gestures to Dazai, who's nearly made his way onto the table with a paw out to Chuuya's plate that has a pastry on it, and it startles Chuuya for a moment

But the meeting's important, so Chuuya's forced to hold Dazai in his lap and give him pets occasionally to keep him from getting antsy, but Dazai eventually calms down and curls up

with the amount that the main series dunks on the forbidden cities i would just love for unraveled to be just an unabashed celebration of humanity. like yes there is poverty and pollution and crime but also there is dancing and music and rollercoasters and scary movies. let keefe discover the beauty here! the first book was all about the wonder of the lost cities but unraveled could be all about the wonder of the forbidden cities

Got a burger from a mid-cost fancy gastropub last night because it was the only thing open and I truly have to ask what the fuck is the point of food that's description is so tasty delicious sounding and then you get it and it's baffling and bland and confusing?
