✨PART 5✨ of things my husband does that are so violently Asher Coded, I had to compile a written list and turn them into headcanons:
part 1 • part 2 • part 3 • part 4
That’s… so many parts… but y’all ask and ye shall receive.
• Invades David’s (his actual best friend’s name, yes) fridge the moment he steps foot in his home. He asks nicely at least, but it’s like feeding deer— feed him once and he’ll keep coming back
• “You’re ruining the vibe with your logic and rationality”
• Legitimately scared of butterflies
• Drops a drink or glass at LEAST once a month, knocks them over regularly. He has his own designated plastic cups now.
• Once said to me “your company has taught me how to love all of life’s insignificant details that most people often overlook” then immediately spun off to microwave a breakfast pastry while not wearing any pants ??
• (These sentimental drive-bys happen often)
• Calls himself a trophy wife. He’s a 6’3” cis man.
• Will give you a 12 pt. size Times New Roman double-spaced essay with proper citations on why “it’s just more environmentally friendly to shower together as a couple”
• Arms.
• Told people that he was my ex-boyfriend when we got engaged, then later my ex-fiancé when we got married
• If he can’t make a sexual innuendo because of the sort of company we’re in, you can feel the energy thicken and you just KNOW that he’s fighting for his life to keep from blurting it out anyway
• Stretches after waking up so LOUDLY like a whole ass dog. VERY Asher Talbot me thinks.
• [I Kissed A Girl by Katy Perry blasting through the stereo at 5 billion decibels] [full performance included]
• Is the type of pretty that just fucking pisses you off does this make sense
• If he doesn’t write an event down on a calendar, it simply does not exist
• Proposed in the most casual manner by teasingly asked if we should get married, paused, then got out of the bed and proceeded to dig around in his SOCK DRAWER for the ring he was hiding, crawled back into the bed, and practically straddled me to repeat if we should get married
• Has an average body temperature clocking in at whatever the surface of the sun is

Henry and his ties: (part 1)
Pink
Affectionate and soft, the adjectives given to the Prince of England's hearts
Blue and white stripes
Formal, navy is the color of authority and power
Blue and light blue stripes (Henry focus pls)
Simple but formal, two colors often used for work settings. Light blue adds friendliness
Grey
Conservative and conformative, add mysteriousness
Orange Copper
Wealth, copper indicates luxury and sophistication
Blue and silver stripes
Grace and elegance, Henry needed to be pretty for his date 💕
Carmine with green stripes
Love, red is associated with passion and sensuality but also prohibition (+ green can indicate outlaw lifestyle)
Sky blue with thin white stripes
Peace, sky blue symbolizes daydreaming and conveys serenity; white is associated with purity
Side addition: solid tie is the basic pattern that doesn't add anything to the tie and lets the color speak for itself; polka dot adds playfulness and/or sophistication; stripes mean classic and elegant but can differ from one another (Henry always wears the British type with stripes that run from left shoulder down to the right side)
Here for part 2

Okay, so I have read a lot of fics where Dogma joins the Coruscant Guard post-Umbara as a way to protect him, or he joins the Guard because the 501st doesn't like him, but I have a new CG Dogma AU concept.
Rex sends Dogma to the Guard specifically to look after Fox. He KNOWS Fox is overworked and the Guard is understaffed, but Fox just isn't asking for help as much as Rex would like, so he sends Dogma over because if Rex can't be there to look after Fox himself, he might as well as send the next best thing. Dogma is a little skeptical about it at first, but Rex tells him that he is legitimately the best man for the job specifically BECAUSE of his personality (he's got reason to believe Fox will have a soft spot for someone who reminds him of Rex).
He tells Fox that this is something he and Dogma discussed because the kind of work the Guard does is a better match for Dogma, but that he's also one of Rex's most impressive soldiers. Fox sees right through Rex and is not impressed at being assigned a babysitter, especially not some barely-not-a-shiny sergeant from the 501st. It's almost insulting, but the paperwork has already gone through so he can't say no or just send Dogma back.
But Rex knew what he was doing and Dogma IS a lot like Rex and he thrives in the Guard and it turns out he gets along incredibly well with Fox and, due to some special insider info from Rex, is perfectly capable of helping keep an eye on his new Commander.

I keep coming back to the fact that Eddie and Chris were playing boggle - both in Bucks loft and in the Diaz house in ep 1. Because boggle is about finding the words in a mass of letters - the answers are in plain sight- literally staring you straight in the face.
Eddie is the one who wins the game - because he is the one who needs to find the answers, not Chris - and it suggests he will in fact figure out what’s been in plain sight all along.
But I love the idea that Chris does have some of the same answers as Eddie. Not all of the same answers and he’ll perhaps have found some different words to Eddie, because they both ultimately want/need different things from their respective relationships with Buck, but that there is cross over in those wants and needs.

don't get me wrong I LOVE how everyone in the aftg universe is just casually aware of the massive obsession that kevin has w jeremy and it's kind of semi-jokey but the way that jeremy chose to play the foxes vs trojans game in TKM really illuminates why it makes so much sense for kevin to admire him that much in a way I really just find so good & excellent!!! bc imo jeremy embodies what it means to genuinely LOVE kevin's mothers game!!! yes he wants to win but more than that jeremy wants to PLAY!!! maybe we will lose but we will learn. maybe it won't end the way we hope but god won't it be fun to find out anyway. he wants to be good by experiencing the sport, by having fun with it, by giving the game room to be all that it can become and getting to be a part of it. exy is not a tool for jeremy to gain power and prestige as it was for the ravens. it's a game!!! you're meant to play it! you're meant to have fun with it! jeremy honors of the truest intention of the sport and welcomes it as it is, not trying to twist it into something that can be leveraged and wielded. it's still all for the game for him, just in a different way: in a way that kevin was never going to be allowed to play it. but someone still does it, and does it well, and shares it with others. and now he's sharing it with the boy that kevin could never quite set free from a place that made it something else. and kevin gets to see it, living proof of what the game could be, what it should be, what it truly is.
