when people say the biggest byler proof is mike looking at will's lips or the heart eyes shining in their iris or closets standing btwn them both. guys it's the painting plotline. that's the only actual n real byler proof and build up .

i wouldn't say it's the only actual and real byler proof and build up because there's three seasons worth of proof and build up before that and other things worth mentioning in season 4 but it's definitely the most substantial one, the painting and how the monologue wouldn't have happened without it and all that like that's what you wanna bring up if you're talking to someone who's receptive, not idk, blue meets yellow in the west or something else that even half the fandom thinks is a reach

Im researching pitbull coat colors cuz the different ways different coat colors come about and present in cats and dogs is fascinating (clearly, considering how much I geek out about calico cats)

And apparently chewby had some rare puppies

(This website didnt specifically say that blue brindles are rare but other places im looking do)

Like I knew boosie had an interesting coat but I didnt realize precious (a blue fawn) was also not common

Also according to this boosie is technically a reverse blue brindle cuz blue is his primary color (he just looked blue as a puppy and developed brindling as he aged)

#precious could also be a champagne pitbull but since her dad was blue shes most likely blue fawn #i wonder if blue ever developed brindling like his brother #im not entirely sure what chewbys coat is called tho #shes darker than most fawns but shes not as dark as most reds #i would personally consider her red #but a lot of red are RED red #man for a guy that is an organized backyard breeder at best mike managed to end up with some interesting coat colors #even just champagne pits seem to be rare #i wish mike was the kind of guy to keep pictures of his dogs cuz i would LOVE to see what chewby and saints parents look like #like chewbys either a very dark fawn or a very light red #saint was blue #they had several blue puppies #at least one ended up being blue brindle #precious is blue fawn or champagne (only difference is apparently genetic makeup?)#she had at least one sister that had similar coloring (they were both runts and sunny unfortunately didnt make it)#i wish i knew what the rest of the puppies looked like #duckduckgo is unfortunately not immune to ai enshittification thi #several of these articles use ai generated pictures of pitbulls that are extremely unsettling #which makes me question the content of the article itself #but the ones in the screenshots appear to be written by real people #im doing digging too hard on that cuz this isnt like....important information or news or some shit but like #the ai articles are inescapable #the horrors are unending #and if i see one more ai generated pitbull im gonna throw my phone through a wall #its worse than the articles with pictures of real dogs that do NOT have the coat colors theyre describing #at least those pictures arent creepy

I Caved

I cast a vote so I could see how the poll was doing, and the results are about what I expected. It also roughly correlates to how much time I spent designing each one, so maybe there's something to that.

But, regardless of *why* the results are this way, it seems like Ice came out on top, so if I ever get around to that project, I guess it'll focus on him~

Thanks for voting everybody~ The poll is still open if you want to try and change things, but I don't see Ice being usurped any time soon.

It wasn't close at all~

#confession:#i'd actually done a couple of extra sketches of Ice #beforehand because i was already pre-planning this project before i even posted about kliff #the original poll was going to be 'should my next doll be a fandom character or an OC?'#but i didn't have any OCs that fit the body type or any fandom characters that i was interested in making right now #well i considered mike hatsu/ne but i didn't want to end up with TWO old man dolls #so i designed Ice as the OC candidate #but somewhere along the line i decided that i wanted it to be an OC no matter what but i wanted other options just in case #so then i quickly designed 2 more guys for him to go up against #but i only had the one sketch sesh with the other 2 #so they just aren't as developed as Ice #actually. Ice didn't even start as ice cream themed #i only added the sprinkles so they could all vaguely be related to food #he was originally just an incubus with a retro diner theme (which I guess is still food themed but nothing specific)#i went with ice cream because even though it wasn't intentional #he's kinda got a bas/kin robbins color scheme going on #anyway. i'm not disappointed that he won #but i feel like he just isn't that ambitious for me in terms of design (which is probably also why he turned out the best)#literally almost everything about him has an element from another design/character i've already made #hearts from kun3h0/GAB. retro diner from the malt shop 10/10s.#pink/blue color scheme from Carol (and several others)#the hairstyle is from a couple of old OCs #he's just an amalgamation of so many things i've already done #but at least it wasn't a total wipeout #ube was someone's favorite of the three so i must've done something right #even for the 'worst' one #so i'll still try to refine all 3 and keep them around #as my 4-5 year obsession with NSR is finally starting to wind down a little #and no other fandom to replace it (yet)#i'm getting a little more interested in developing my OCs
