kitten acquisition is likely actually happening this weekend

i think i am going to get one orange male and one calico female

now i have to pick names (which i am being indecisive about lol) and schedule spay/neuter and other basic vet things which is unexpectedly stressful hnnnng

#i will post pics when i get them!!#i haven't seen them since they were like 2-3 weeks old so i'm still picturing them as tiny babies #but they are bigger now lol #i feel bad just kinda arbitrarily picking which ones i'm gonna take but uhhh that's life i guess #i have a list of like 15 vet clinics to call tomorrow morning to see if i can find one that has a reasonable price for spays and neuters #had no idea it was so expensive rip #the one i called today said 'oh we can't give you an estimate until you bring them in for an appointment first'#so idk if they're all going to say that and i'm going to have to pick one and go in blind #and hope they don't charge me $300 each #hrrg oh well #it will work out!!#WE ARE NOT GOING TO CREATE MORE KITTENS!!!!!!#p

#Reposting cause I fixed a lineart mistake that was killing me FINALLY after HOURS #will post the previous tags here #rewritten cause I forgot to copy them yay ->#a mini rant which isn't really a rant but more like information #I have followed this girl called Johanna Öst on Instagram for years #highly recommend it btw #and she did something called the wardrobe project for years first on LiveJournal then on Insta #and it consisted on her taking pieces of clothing she didn't wear from her wardrobe #and trying to match them up and make them wearable #and I wanted to do something similar but I didn’t wanna post it on Instagram for several reasons #mainly cause I'd feel like intimidated by everyone else who posts fashion stuff #and because I'd like to do it in video form #also because I'd have to do it in Portuguese and I didn't want to #also because people from my past follow me there #anyway a whole thing #and then I thought abt tumblr but the dms I get over here whenever I post pics of me are disconcerting to say the least #so I didn’t do it BUT if I could turn it into a little fashion AND art project that'd be cool #and I'd credit both Johanna and Libby on every post cause that's where I got the ideas from #and I'd take outfit pics and draw them like this #would it be time consuming? #konan #and nagato #man i.....just have to post the entire panel #because it gets me in a way you can't understand #this is the first time we see nagato as an adult and he is looking Bad. like real bad #look at him. the exposed ribs. the cheekbones. the thin frail arms #but of course look at the Fucking machine #i love that design man it rocks. it's sturdy and menacing and it is DEFINITELY a walker given the way it has leg-like things on the sides #and i also love the chakra receptors on his back. like it gives him some kind of unholy halo or wings do you get me.#nagato is to me the perfect image of the “man who became god” phenomenon #and now on to konan which is the cherry on top of this pic #it's the way she's touching the side of the machine in an affectionate way. konan loves nagato. she loves him a lot. he is her only friend.#and he is the only reason why she even bother staying in akatsuki!! i have no doubt that she is some kind of caregiver to him #given his frail health and that is personally a very important thing to me the mod.#there is so much love behind that simple gesture. this is one of my favorite panels Ever.#there is a sentence that more or less goes like “god is your best friend”#konan doesn't sees nagato as a god like the ame citizens do. she sees her friend.#ok im done

#rolling with difficulty #dani rwd #this was so much fun like i wasn't expecting to enjoy this as much as i did but like!! complementary colours go brr i guess #it's just.. such a cool visual like design choice? anyway #in hindsight this is dnd so i'm not sure if she's supposed to have an actual handgun but it's fine #i just googled pistol and took the first pic off google images #i should draw dani more her design is so much fun #every time i draw the hypnagoug i jsut choose to ignore more of its description but come on #i think sacrificing a bit of accuracy for rule of cool in this case is pretty understandable #as a side note the reason why i drew my last hypnagoug comic in greyscale was that for some reason that entire fight is just #greyscale. in my brain. idk why like genuinely that's how i imagine it #but for this one i really wanted to get the blue/orange contrast so here we are #ALSO side note to the side note but if you saw my demon possession au comic from the discord (which. no you didn't)#THAT ONE was in greyscale bc i was trying to save time bc i literally rushed that in more or less one sitting #and colouring in greyscale is just.. pretty intuitive for me for whatever reason so i just did it so i thought it would be faster #idk fun fact i guess #art I made

i think the funniest ocs ive ever had were it was like a next gen crossover au where all webseries (of the 2000s-2010s for reference) exist in the same world but its like the kids of the characters and the main character (and couple) were an eddsworld fankid and a dick figures fankid

#i dont think i Ever got around to making any other characters i doodled tf out of it in a journal that. idk where it is #lost forever or thrown out which is sort of sad i feel like theres gotta be smth in there....#anyways i think that would be a funny idea for an au still actually but i rewrote the ew kid into a different story #and the mild inspiration for the au gives me the ick i never even read it just thought ''oh big xover cool''#though i think. the ew kid when i first rewrote him i think i gave him a crossover fankid s/o again but idk what the fandom was #cuz i had mentioned it on the blog i was using him on and was vague about it #from context clues in my mind from that time. first year or so of highschool. fucked up it mightve been a tmnt fankid #ALSOOOOO so everyone can rest well. the ew fankid was the kid of one of the main guys BUT!!! the mom is never specified #and i dont think i had a mom in mind the kid looks like 99% like his dad #the dick figures girl was blue x pink obviously. was her name pink. the fankid was called magenta #i swear there was at least 1 other character i mightve had when i first made it. but that would be in Lost Journal #i bet if i kept it going i wouldve had a htf kid or a charlie the unicorn kid cuz i was sick in the heeeaaaaddd #i never posted like anything about it. 1 pic on dA long deleted and talked abt them to The RP Girl #i still love the ew kid dearly but its bc i saved him from That #ACTUALLY THE EXTRA FUNNIEST FCKING THING WAS IN CHATS for some reason despite how eddsworld is #i accidentally implied the fankid was. born in canada. cuz im canadian and it leaked into the writing #DUNNO WHAT THE EW GUY WOULD BE DOING IN CANADA but that detail which i only realized NOW is rlly funny to me i want it canon

I wanted to challenge myself to get back into writing by doing whumpcember, but to make sure I don't overdo it, I wanted to limit myself to around 500 words per day.

I wrote ONE prompt today and apparently I'm not v good at keeping my own rules:

It kinda feels like when the Owl Crew were all saying their goodbyes to working on the show again.

Nearly everyone in the tags is getting ready for The End.

Like. Damn. It really is the end as far as we know for the entire franchise of The Owl House.

Man.

#its also giving SPoP and SU flashbacks #except its happening in the evening and not during the afternoon like SU or at an all-at-once-release deal like SPoP #getting p emotional #I do remember early in the days. like when Ms Dana Terrace was still in the dt team and doodled Luz #alongside Rebecca Sugar Ian JQ and I think alex hirsch #and ofc the first real poster #and watching it on youtube when it first aired. and even watching it on TV.#I remember a lot of it with twitter too. that viney cult thing. the hype for Understanding Willow. the pic of lil Luz smiling going around.#I remember tons of fics. The Lumity azura actor au thats been LOONG abandoned lmao. the one where Luz was the author of tgwa. tons more.#Of course the excessive hype for Grom.#The hype for the S1B trailer was huge too but Grom. You cannot replicate that. And yknow what? Id go as far to say #not even Hollow Mind had that much hype behind it.#Plus the huge amounts of news coverage and hype after Grom aired.#Like the show was fairly popularish. Nothing too big and was about even with amphibby. But after Grom. BOOM. Huge amounts.#I could really go on. I just cant really believe that its kinda unfairly going away. Possibly never to return. One of The most talked about #animated shows in the past couple years (similar to the likes of Steven Universe! Which was HUGE.) even worldwide.#Nothing lasts forever. It just is unfair the time spent was taken away tho. Happened to others too. Happens so much to animation #and we just Have to accept it because higher-ups are either to proud to their stupid ideals or simply for no real good reason.#This show has had a good impact on animation.
