MUN MONDAY: GETTING TO KNOW YOU

Respond to the following prompts out of character, then tag others you'd like to get to know a little bit better!

ROLEPLAYER NAME: my alias is Puffin, folks can call me Selkie tho. both work, I use both, so I'm not particularly picky either way ! whichever folks prefer.

ROLEPLAYER PRONOUNS: anything ! they/she/he, though I default to she/they.

MUSE NAME: I've got two kiddos, Shade and Kaey ! Kaey is my older muse, I've been writing him since 2012, while Shade is a newer edition to my collection of ocs. I love them both, they're both my literal children at this point.

PREFERRED COMMUNICATION: Discord please ! tumblr IMs are just... I lose track of them very easily, probably because they're not like. right in front of me / always where I can see them. whereas in Discord I can keep track of folks and conversations much easier. in general, I just feel more comfortable discussing via Discord. its also good for roleplay, if folks are okay with that ! but yeah, Discord all the way.

EXPERIENCE: I have been roleplaying since I was... I literally just confirmed, at least 10 years old. I started out on forums. ever heard of Chicken Smoothie ? its a pet adoptable website, and where I really got into roleplay. from there I was introduced to tumblr by a friend, discovered tumblr rp, and... I've been here ever since. that was back in 2012; I was just about to turn 13, and I'm currently just about to turn 25, so. I've been here awhile. been writing and roleplaying for over half my life at this point.

PREFERRED ROLEPLAY TYPE: I'm partial to casual discussion style roleplay, but I also really love just. writing. so. it may take some time to get me in the proper headspace to sit down and write, but its always satisfying to be able to. however, casual discussion style is more accessible, definitely. just easier and quicker. but I will always value writing and reading solid threads, solid interactions. seeing it come together, getting excited about it... its what I love about roleplay, and I wouldn't trade it for anything, even if other things are easier or faster. nothing good comes easy, or so they say, right ? idk. I'm old-fashioned I guess.

PET PEEVES & DEALBREAKERS: oof, lets see. immediate dealbreakers: no trigger or nsfw tags (especially if there is nothing that says there won't be; I can understand some blogs preferring not to tag if its standard content), no rules or about, posting callouts and witch hunting behavior (ESPECIALLY if its just interpersonal or petty grievances, I have ZERO tolerance for this). pet peeves... I'm pretty chill. just treat me with respect, communicate with me like an adult, and we'll be fine.

PLOTS OR MEMES: yes ? but like, logically speaking... memes are more likely to happen with me than plots, cuz I'm slow and struggle with that kind of pressure. so memes are probably the best way, yeah. but low / no pressure casual discussion ? vibing until we figure something out ? sign me the fuck up !

LONG REPLIES OR SHORT REPLIES: another yes. it really depends, I feel like I fall somewhere in the middle. a couple short paragraphs is my default, but I know for some folks thats considered long, and for others still short. so. I'm dynamic. I'll admit that I'm wordy, I like fleshing out interactions with thoughts and actions when I can, so I would say I'm probably more inclined to long style. I know I've started a few short dialogue threads then ended up getting 1+ paragraph responses, so. but I also don't expect my partners to match length ! idc if other people write short replies, so long as I have something to build off of. "yes, and" rules and all that !

BEST TIME TO WRITE: when the world is dark and sleeping. or when the moon aligns with my medication and energy levels. so... mostly at night. I get a lot of stuff done in the dark of night; I don't feel like I'm being perceived by my family so I feel free to move around and do more tbh. less distractions, too.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES: yes. not intentionally, but yes. Shade moreso than Kaey, but Kaey and I still have similarities. I think most writers bleed into their work somehow, and I don't think its something to be ashamed of. for me its. I write and create to cope, right ? so having characters I can relate to, that I can see myself in, helps me... feel better about things. like, if Shade and Kaey can do stuff then I can to ! plus, I won't lie, seeing myself in my muses also helps for introspection. I genuinely feel like I've been able to become a better person by acknowledging my similarities and learning from them, whether through interaction or otherwise. and, of course, the reverse is also true: I learn a lot about Kaey and Shade by exploring my own identity and perspective and how I interact with the world and others.

Mun is 40+ He/him. Bi/pan. Poly. I will not RP with anyone under 18, 21+ is preferred. Minors, DNI. This blog has many mature themes, such as blood, gore, horror elements, and plenty of smut.

No hate. No racism, no LGBTQ+ hate of any kind, this includes transphobia, nothing of the sort.

I enjoy speaking to my followers and mutuals OOC. It helps with character chemistry and dynamics, and it helps make a friend! But I am a pretty intense OOC, and I WILL bother you all the time, probably. It's just how I am, no offense intended or anything as such. But, if something like this bothers you, or you're the type that doesn't like to, or won't, chat with your RP partners OOC, it's probably better if we don't interact. <3

I have been RPing in various forms since I was 13, starting from TTRPGs, to online through the era of AOL and AIM, to message board and the like, until I hit Tumblr around 2010. All in all, I have I've 30 years of RP experience in general and about 14 years on Tumblr.

I do not use a queue. Sometimes I take my time RPing, and sometimes I can reply back very quickly. Whichever is comfortable for me at a time. If I haven’t replied to our thread in over a week, go ahead and give me a nudge, but don’t push or I’ll lose muse for the thread.

I sometimes reply to some threads quicker than others, it all depends on the finickiness of my muse. Sometimes I have muse for some threads over others, and sometimes I get stuck. This does not mean I dislike you or hate you, or do not want to RP with you. And if I need to drop our thread or put it on hold, I'll come talk to you. I do not want you to be anxiety-ridden with worry over why I haven't replied to our thread.

You do not have to match my length! Just give me something to work with, something to move the thread along. I don’t expect you to carry the thread by yourself. And I’m going to assume you don’t expect it of me. I do not mind one-liners or conversation threads (if they help move the thread along, or we're just having fun). If I haven’t given you enough to push the thread forward, please tell me so that I may fix it.

I know most of the RPC here on Tumblr frowns upon it, but If you follow me, you do not have to reblog memes, pictures, artwork, or whatever, from the source. Feel free to use me as a ‘resource’ all you want. All I ask is that, hopefully, you will send in a meme prompt. If not, that's okay, too.

Shipping: I am a ship whore. Sometimes there needs to be build-up, and sometimes we can jump right in and go back and later fill in the past on the timeline. Chemistry is wonderful! But sometimes that chemistry is almost instant, or you and your RP partner just know the muses will work in a ship. So, come to me and we’ll talk about it!

Another thing to add: I do not have a DNI FC list. I do not have issues RPing with dead FCs, (I use one for one of my muses - John Candy). If you do not like RPing with dead FCs, do not interact with those specific muses. I also have no problem RPing with cartoon/animated FCs. One of my muses (Terran) FCs is hand drawn (by a friend long ago).

I love smut. I love writing smut. So, smut will happen. While this is not a smut blog, some of my muses have a strong sex drive, so smut will happen frequently. I will not write any NSFW subjects with anyone under 21. Most of my muses are hetero, while only a handful bi/pan (and they are picky), so I will do M/F, F/F, and very picky about M/M. Smut will not be under a Read More.

There are certain subjects I won’t RP - Rape being the most important, sexual abuse is another. They might be referenced in a muse’s past, talked about by a muse, or even written about in a drabble. As such, they will be tagged accordingly. However, I will not RP these subjects out. Spousal abuse/domestic violence might be RPed out, but only with extensive talking about it first. However, rape and sexual abuse will never be RPed out. If there’s anything you’d like me to tag, please tell me. I will tag the trigger with tw trigger here, or tw: trigger here.

As pointed out above, this is an adult blog, and many things will be RPed out here. Blood, gore, violence, etc. Once again, if you need something tagged, please tell me.

No Godmoding. I control my muse(s), you control yours. Little things such as having them go through a door when it’s opened for them, getting out of a car - small things are fine. Anything large is off-limits without talking to me about it first.

No anon hate. Anon hate will be immediately reported and blocked, and anon asks will be turned off for a while. Right now, Anon is on. Any hate, and it will be turned off.

Please make sure I can understand your writing/reply. I don’t want to have to struggle to read your reply. I’m mildly dyslexic myself, so mistakes are completely acceptable. If English is not your first language, I am far more lenient about spelling/grammar mistakes.

I normally do third-person style RPs. Only certain muses will be written in the first person.

Please tell me if we decide to push our thread in the direction of angst. when it comes to angst. Angst can be difficult for me to write due to RL issues.

Come to me first, to talk with me at length, before any baby/child/pregnancy-type RP threads or plots. Tolaas and Terran (Living Vampires in my mythology in general) are sterile and cannot father children. So having SUDDENLY BABY/CHILD/I’M PREGNANT tossed into a thread just cannot happen with my two main muses, so it unnerves me and makes me uncomfortable. Please talk with me first.

I also do not do A/B/O threads, even with my werewolf/shapeshifter muse.

Also, to add:.

This blog will be used as a semi-personal, meaning I will post/reblog things that aren’t always RP-related.

I have several mental illnesses - several social/generalized anxiety and bipolar depression with psychosis, both of which I am in therapy and on meds for - which sometimes prevent me from RPing for long periods of time. But I will still try to maintain a presence, even a small one, if I’m not RPing for a while.

Some of my muses will be willing to pop their heads out, other times they won’t.

You are free to unfollow me for ANY REASON. You do not have to continue following me under some sort of obligation, or anything as such. All I ask is you HOPEFULLY come to me and talk about the problem, and maybe we can work it out.

I don’t always plot. Most times I find it difficult. I prefer to jump right in. However, you can come to me and we can try to come up with a specific scenario as long as the ‘plot’ doesn’t end up like something that feels out-and-out scripted. I prefer to let our muses do what they do, rather than try to point by point what they have to do.

And remember, this is for fun, it’s a hobby. This is not a job. I am not obligated to RP with anyone, they are not obligated to RP with me.

These rules are a constant WIP and I may modify or change them at any time

This rp blog is selective and private, 18+. This means I only interact with mutuals and may be a bit picky about who I’ll follow so I don’t get overwhelmed. I do not rp with anyone under the age of 18, 21+ is preferred. Mun is 30+ and goes by Lumen. I'm MST but work nights so it will probably end up looking like I never ever sleep :)

I will not follow back or interact at all if your blog doesn't have an about / rules page stating your age. Making at least a pinned post with such information isn't that difficult.

Askbox is always open, we don’t have to be mutuals for me to answer asks. Right now anon is allowed, but I reserve the right to disable that if needed.

I don't do drama. This blog is for writing and reblogging fun fandom stuff. Asks or messages regarding drama get deleted.

General RP etiquette applies. I allow minor godmoding to progress the plot (eg you can assume if you hand my character something he takes it. or not, whichever. you get what I mean)

In character actions have in character consequences. This applies equally to both muses.

I don’t match length or expect length to be matched. Generally I am a para to multi-para writer, reserving one-liners for spur of the moment crack threads. I only ask that you don’t give me one-liners in response to para+ threads. My reply length tends to change based on what's happing in the thread organically. Sometimes I use special formatting, small text and icons, based on my mood and if I remember to do so. My writing style itself is fluid - I tend to match that of my partner.

I prefer plotting over winging it, at least for initial interactions. Once we've interacted some then I'm more comfortable winging it. I'm really tired of first meeting threads so I don't mind starting after they've met before with a bit of discussion.

Feel free to turn asks into threads. If possible, please make a new post when doing so. If not, I'll do so when I reply.

Mun doesn’t equal muse. Fiction is fiction. Alastor is a bad person and I'm not going to sanitize him, and I tend to enjoy exploring darker themes. Depicting a thing is not the same as romanticizing it. I write from Alastor's POV, and his views do not at all align with my own.

I don’t have any squicks worth mentioning, and I don’t need anything tagged. Generally I only tag by request. I don't tag canon-typical things like violence, cannibalism, gore.

Dead dove content will be on this blog, most likely untagged This can include but is not limited to things like racism, non/dubcon, abuse, hurt no comfort, vore, cannibalism, grooming, necrophilia, platonic hand-holding and more. I have no problem writing questionable subjects. Not to say every thread will feature any of those subjects at all, by default or without discussion - I do my best to stay within each partner's comfort zone for individual threads. Often I'll put my reply under a Read More if it's particularly problematic or graphic. Policing will get you blocked. To reiterate from earlier: I expect my followers/mutuals to have enough media literacy to understand that writing something is not the same as supporting or romanticizing it. In return, I will attempt to make my partners as comfortable as possible and will not push limits and do encourage frequent discussion.

Please hardblock me if you don't want to interact. I'll probably think it was a tumblr glitch or forget and accidentally refollow if you only softblock. No fuss, no mess, just hardblock for any reason at any time. If you softblock, I may hardblock so I don't accidentally refollow.

Ship friendly but Alastor is aroace. That is not to say that ships cannot happen, but there'd need to be plotting and discussion as to what it'd look like. Check the About page to see some headcanons regarding shipping with him. The blog itself is NSFW friendly, though Alastor will likely not react favorably to any overtures out of the blue.

Duplicate and OC friendly. Sort of crossover friendly? I likely won't be taking him out of the Hazbin universe since it feels weird having him without his radios and overlord status or putting him in another fandom and going 'yes, he is this powerful dealmaker and radio man that everyone has definitely heard about including your muse!'

At this time I don't do exclusives, but I do accept mains, which only means that I tend to reply to them more frequently/first. I only do this if we vibe really well both IC and OOC and have been writing a bit.

I don't often post memes or starter calls but there's no expiration on the memes I post and random asks are always welcome. It's the best way to get something started with me, aside from hopping into the dms and plotting.

I have a tendency to randomly drop threads without warning, especially if we have multiple. If I've been waiting on a reply for a month and we haven't discussed things, chances are I've mentally checked out of that thread. Sometimes I'll forget or lose track of them - if it's my turn and it's been a week please feel free to nudge me!

Discord available upon request. I despise tumblr IMs and would rather chat on Discord tbh. Any mutuals can hit me up for my discord at any time.

NAME: Ghost or Tiny! Whichever you prefer!

PRONOUNS: I prefer they/them, but also use neopronouns: fie/fier/fiers/fierself and lun/lune/lunes/luneself

MOST ACTIVE MUSE(S): Easily Ghost! They're my most developed character right now.

RP PET PEEVES: Grammar issues! I have my own of course, but this is easily the one thing that can drive me insane.

EXPERIENCE/HOW MANY YEARS: Oh jeez. This is hard. I think I rped on YouTube and some chatroom I can't remember the name of back when I was like 12? Also I did Roblox rp. It was Warrior Cats focused since I was just getting into the series.

FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT?: ANGST. I am absolutely an angst machine! I will also roleplay slice of life shenanigans as well, though! Usually I like some good ol' hurt/comfort for the best of both worlds! Smut isn't completely off the table either, but I'd prefer to do so on Discord.

PLOTS OR MEMES?: Either one! I usually have a few ideas thought up to build plot off of, but I'm totally willing to just go with the flow!

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES?: Long, though occasionally sometimes my brain is a bitch and won't let me write much. I always feel bad about short replies though! Like PLEASE enjoy me writing you at least a paragraph as a response

TIME TO WRITE?: Anytime! I often try to respond as soon as possible

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES?: Believe it or not, Ghost was meant to be my Sinner Sona(I might still use them as one, but they're primarily an OC)! Because of this, Ghost actually takes quite a bit of inspiration from myself. We even share hobbies, though they're much better at crochet!

Regardless, I always put a bit of myself into my characters.

I have a question concerning this confession; I know what it means and I do actually agree but when it comes to a human muse writing with like... a god or a vampire or a werewolf, how do you make it fair in a way that makes sense and doesn't make your powerful muse seem super out-of-character (weak). I don't like godmodding like the rest of everyone, I usually try my best to avoid physical conflict in my roleplaying because I have no idea how to balance it when my muse would wipe the floor with them. But not just muse vs muse, muses vs npcs as well. So I just avoid "fights" altogether, I've never actually written fight scenes.

So - this probably just requires some heavy plotting between you and your partner. These are the two ways I thought of right away:

Decide in advance which muse is going to win the fight. I'd go with whichever win is more likely to carry the story forward to wherever you're wanting it to go. From there the two of you can decide how the right muse is going to win the fight - surprise help from an outside source, a special magical item, exploitation of a weakness, etc.

If you don't want to plot everything from the get go and want to leave the fight up to chance, then I'm going to 'borrow' an idea that I actually saw on this blog a long time ago - roll a die. Decide in advance how many 'rounds' you want the fight to have - preferably an uneven number to make things easy. Then , starting rolling/writing. Whichever one of you gets the higher number can have your muse get the upper hand for that round, or land a blow, or whatever. At then end of all the rounds, whoever has the most 'hits' can win the fight. Just like in a DnD session, the two of you will still have to decide why each blow landed and how the fight was won, but the ending can be a bit more of a surprise.

♛ WORLDHELL ━━━━ laws.

INTERACTION.

mutuals only. I don't follow minor muns because I am in my mid twenties. if I follow you it means I want to write, so come kick my ass if I have yet to send anything to you. I am open to starter calls (from however long back), inbox memes (from however long back + at random), and plotting (just hit me up for my discord or over IMs whichever you prefer!). I write with crossover characters (though I may be selective) and original muses (lets make them canon now bby). basic etiquette applies. mun doesn't equal muse. I will always have my own portrayal for my characters and no I don't take influence from other writers - it's just very common for multiple people to take points from the character and series to adapt into portrayal and writing.

ACTIVITY.

I work a full time job and have a lot of adult responsibilities to attend to, so my activity can be sporadic. I try check dash as often as I can. my timezone is also GMT+8 so I am usually more active when people aren't online. I can take a hot second to get back to people ooc just because I am both nervous or my social battery is drained from rl.

MUSES.

I am prone to add a lot of muses. and I do often forget to write up their bios. as I go along building them I usually try and add information to their pages. I write my canon muses here and my original muse on a separate single blog (on that note: don't feel pressured to follow that blog because you follow me here. I am p happy just plodding along on that blog and vibing in my area if ocs aren't your thing) please do specify musein comments for starter calls or when you send things to my inbox. not specifying = I give you floch by default as punishment.

PLOTTING AND THREADS.

I try not to drop any threads and will respond to them all even if it's been awhile. never feel pressured to respond back if it has been too long, but I will try my best to always write back. I have no cap for threads, and I am so happy to leave anything if we lose the vibe for it! it will always be etched into my character's canon even if the thread isn't complete. I wing a lot of threads to see what my character does, but I am also open to plotting scenarios and bonds! I struggle to put my thoughts down so bear with me on that, or I just ramble and scream random things.

SHIPPING.

I am always very receptive to the idea of shipping. that doesn't specifically mean romantic either, because there's so many different kinds of bonds. romantic shipping I do enjoy if our characters mix - I also like the entire build, which means it's not always just soft and fluff, because we as humans we be build different. and often it's not about saying I love you, but showing it in characters own unique ways. I won't ship anything romantic with vets and 104th etc. don't force ship.even if our muses are interested in each other in canon I prefer to build towards that (this won't apply so much to characters who are married in canon). that being said please feel free to reach out! I am super friendly and happy to see if our muses end up vibing. shipping with ocs is the same. if our muses are vibing that way then absolutely open to discussing! I don't consider flirting forced shipping, or someone having a one-sided crush. as long as the mun themselves aren't trying to force something with that, then I actually have a lot of fun with that kind of dynamic!

DARK THEMES & NSFW.

the series is full of dark themes ranging from war, violence, gore, death, abuse, mental health, etc. and they won't be ignored. I do my best to tag the heavier content. things I won't touch are incest, noncon, etc. you know the drill. NSFW content is written given all my current muses are of age (if I add minor characters, this definitely does not apply to them) and found on my sideblog listed in my pinned post.

DRAMA.

Don't care just don't be a sus or shitty person pls

FOLLOWING / UNFOLLOWING.

if we haven't interacted over a decent period of time I usually do a little blog sweep to keep my dash for my rp partners - I am also not strict about this because I do know we have lives outside rp, and often make a little post before I do anything. I usually base my follows of who my mutuals interact with and if the mun seems chill. again if you are someone that vague posts or starts drama then I don't follow / I unfollow.

I swear I am so friendly even though I am so spacey at the best of times. I appreciate you all very much <3 if you need or want anything / or even just need to discuss something with me, once again come fly kick me. as long as we act like adults and use basic decency, let us vibe c:

GET TO KNOW THE MUN !!!

NAME. Niran, Noy.

PRONOUNS. He/Him only, please. No she/her and never they/them.

BEST EXPERIENCE. On this blog specifically is discussing interactions and potential scenarios between me and my OC buddies, the very first thread me and @alaikhadal had, me and @achroanimus plotting ghostshima haunting kogami, getting close to @perceptualephemera <3

PREFERENCE OF COMMUNICATION. Discord. I never check my Tumblr IMs because of how broken it is.

MOST ACTIVE MUSE. Kogami Kogami Kogami. BUT i really do want to try being active on my OCs more because I'm a sucker for OCs and I should give my OCs the same love...

EXPERIENCE / HOW MANY YEARS. Stares into the distance. A very long time. Since I was like ... 10?

RP PET PEEVES. When people reuse plots / interactions / dynamics for me, when I'm just shipping fodder, when people pikachu face when I assert boundaries, when people make this hobby a little bit more personal than it needs to be (ie… tethering their mental health onto me when I’m just here to write Kogami </3).

PLOTS OR MEMES. A little bit of both — whichever gets the “hey imagine our characters in these scenarios” juices pumping first. More often than not, plotting!

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES. Listen, I might take 9273827382 years to reply — or even the speed of light … but i vastly prefer long replies. I have so much room to play around with the English language and inner dialogue with longer replies it’s insane!! Not to mention it feels like a verbal waltz with my partner as we continuously raise the reply bars for each other, the nuances of each other’s writings, so on and so forth.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES? A bit, but quite different in a number of ways. Kogami is probably a bit more Patient than i am … and THATS saying something since he does have an impulsive and impatient streak all on his own. He’s probably got a better moral compass than me — if we were both morally grey characters, I’m probably the one to make more menacing decisions whereas he’s done more eye for an eye type blows. I write him to be Lao — and I also write him with similar neurodivergency as myself ( bipolar disorder, audhd, and more I don’t care to share the pedigree of ) but I generally regard him as his own wolf that I tend to.

born december 28, 2003 in tokyo, japan. she’s a capricorn, and i do think that says a lot about her. her father is a retired tennis player, while her mother is a retired volleyball player. the whole family was very sports-oriented, and so naturally, miru was pushed into that field as well

she took after her mother’s footsteps and played volleyball until her freshmen year of high school in which she suffered an injury that wasn’t life changing, but it did prevent her from pursuing volleyball professionally

it definitely feels like her whole life is crumbling down as that’s all she’s known. her mother’s pretty disappointed (is anybody surprised?), but she quickly moves onto miru’s younger sister instead. miru takes this opportunity to do everything she couldn’t do as a child

one of those includes going on trips. summer of 2021, she’s visiting korea when she gets casted by some entertainment company. they feed her sweet lies, and she’s convinced to take on the offer. she starts training at this npc company july of 2021, transfers to high school in korea (she was at hanlim arts for about eight months if anybody’s muse was there at the same time) and begin training

unfortunately, it was never a stable company to begin with, and they go bankrupt so she’s suddenly a jobless eighteen year-old in the middle of 2022! but she feels that the training that she did receive would be a waste if she didn’t continue to go down this path, and so she auditions for a bunch of other companies before finally making it to starlight music in december of 2022

onto her personality!

her background as an athlete shaped her personality quite a bit. she’s disciplined, polite, rigid, plays by the rules, honest and pretty much everything you’d find in a stereotypical athlete! adapting to the trainee life wasn’t super difficult because of these traits, but it also means that she does better with competition as well! she feels the need to improve and push herself further if there’s someone to compare herself to

pretty peak introvert tbh. like she prefers spending time alone. will make plans but silently pray they get cancelled by the other party so she can spend it at home, that type of person! not to say she’s no fun to be around, but she prefers to hang in the background and watch/observe what’s going on rather than being the cause of chaos

i don’t want to put so much emphasis on mbti, but miru’s also very peak istp/j (the latter is pretty 50-50). she prefers to get work done, and she’s really not good at imagining things. likes to stick to realistic options. the type of person that if a little child walked up to her and asked what they thought of their painting, she wouldn’t know what to say because she doesn’t want to hurt their feelings but the painting’s terrible, yknow? that kind of person

some wanted connections

while i love figuring things out one-on-one, here are some vague ideas that could work as starting points! as mentioned, she would thrive off of a rival, but i imagine it to lean more towards a friendly one, someone who isn’t afraid of criticizing her when she needs it and vice versa! someone who’s surprised that she’s better at korean than she seems? maybe she catches you talking bad about someone and kind of laughs because she understands everything! someone she knew pre-hydra days! she did train somewhere else and they could have crossed paths that way? i think miru can appear intimidating to some people with how quiet and observant she is. somebody who’s intimidated by her vibes? or someone miru wants to so desperately befriend but can’t seem to because she doesn’t know how to start the conversation! at the moment, i believe she’s the newest trainee around so someone who’s helped her since her first day?

About The Menagerie:

A horde of lovingly fleshcrafted ghouls, the 'Beloved Menagerie' are the szlatcha and retainers of Dragon, living together and protecting his Domain, somewhere in the Carpathian Mountains*.

Most of the Menagerie are Revenants- Hereditary ghouls of Dragon's own dynasty. Predatory, cannibalistic, social and curious, they have been introduced to the world of 'blogging' and are loving every minute of it.

As this is a multimuse blog, 'Consensus Post' tags denote posts made by a general gaggle of whichever ghouls are around and crowdsourcing their opinions at the time. Specific induviduals will otherwise use '[Name] Post' tags instead, with posts signed at the bottom.

Rules

⭐ General

DON’T PANIC!

This is multi-fandom blog, but some primary influences you may find are The Stanley Parable, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and the works of Stephen King, as well as anything horror. I routinely poke fun at tropes, themes, and other elements of storytelling while attempting to introduce elements of horror.

My blog is part roleplay blog, part writing blog.

For the writing part of my blog, anybody is welcome to follow. I welcome anybody who finds themself interested in my muses and the little world I've built for them. If you want to read along and send in asks and anything like that, that's all fine and I am happy to have you.

For the roleplaying part of my blog, it is Private and Mutuals Only - this means that we must be mutuals to roleplay together. You are welcome to follow me first, but I will check out your blog to make sure we are a good fit before I decide to follow you back. If I choose not to interact with you, please don’t take it personally. I have my reasons for being private, and I choose to be private so I can keep my rping space fun and comfortable for myself. Please don’t let that stop you from inquiring, though! Odds are if you’re 27+ and open to rping crossovers and with OCs, I’ll rp with you.

That said, I prefer to rp with folks closer to my own age, and so to interact you must be at least 27 years of age. If you are under 27, I'm sorry, this is purely for my own comfort and isn't anything against you personally. I do have partners who I interact with who are under 27, but I we've been interacting since before I put the age minimum in place.

I’m not a terribly strict person, so things on this blog will probably not be terribly strict either! I’m just here to have fun. Mostly I don’t take things too seriously - so most things will be lighthearted and will trend on the silly side. I do love to write dark humor, though, so there will probably be some of that. Anything that is a serious trigger, I will try to tag appropriately (I sometimes forget though, so please forgive me! Please message me if I miss something in this regard and I will fix it).

I’ll interact with muses from pretty much any fandom. The only caveat is that if your muse is from a fandom I am unfamiliar with, I may need some information from you in order to understand things better. Otherwise, bring in your little ponies and your stubborn test subjects and your space-exploration team! And, oh yes, your OC’s and self-inserts. Bring them all!

The only fandom I will NOT interact with is Harry Potter. No offense meant to those who have HP muses, but I just cannot support HP or its fandom in any capacity.

There are at least two ways to play here! You can send your muse through “The Story” and have one of my Narrators narrate for your muse. Or we can just interact. Whichever you like. Most of the time these days it’s normal interactions, but my muses love to narrate stories so they’d be happy to do so.

Please note: This blog contains dark themes such as depression, anxiety, death, horror, and occasional gore. HOWEVER! I will include content warnings (such as “cw death”, “cw images of horror”, etc.) and usually include anything particularly graphic or descriptive under a cut. A good deal of the stuff I roleplay here is silly humor, and I don’t intend on including anything particularly horrific in RP threads without discussing it with you first. If you have any questions, please reach out to me! It is very important to me that I don’t make you uncomfortable or mistakenly set off any triggers.

⭐ The Mun

I, the Mun, am in my 30s.

I am also a mother to a nine-year-old and I babysit my baby nephew during the week. Sometimes I get very busy, but I do try to stay as active as I can.

I go by the name of Thursday! My muse Thursday started off as a self-insert but she broke away from me and ran off into the sunset. She decided to keep my name, but we are both completely different people.

I rp only on Tumblr. While I am comfortable with chatting and plotting on Discord, I am uncomfortable with roleplaying on Discord. This goes for one-on-one rp's, private servers, small servers, large servers, just any rping on Discord. I prefer to keep all roleplaying to Tumblr, please.

Please also remember that Mun ≠ Muse. The thoughts, words, actions, feelings, and opinions of my muses are their own - not mine.

⭐ NO METAGAMING

This means using your personal real-life knowledge to influence your character’s decisions. It honestly takes the fun out of roleplaying for someone’s muse to “know” everything and always make the “right” decision because of it, especially if it’s to manufacture or kindle a relationship or manipulate things in your favor.

PLEASE NOTE: The exception to this is if we agree to breaking the fourth wall (due to the nature of The Stanley Parable or another fandom) or crack threads. Information obtained via ask memes is okay! I'm also okay with muses who can read minds or who are super intelligent and geniuses at reading others - I just need to know about this before we start a thread.

⭐ NO GODMODDING

This means assuming the actions of my muse or actively controlling my muse. If it’s something small like opening a door, that’s okay, but assuming my muse will go along with every action your muse is saying/doing without protest is unacceptable.

⭐ Harm towards muses

If your muse is about to get into a situation where they can be hurt or killed, I will reach out to you first before I reply to our thread. I will never harm your muse without permission first, so please extend that same courtesy to me.

PLEASE NOTE: Some of my muses are more dangerous and violent than others - and a couple of them are intentionally overpowered. If you are uncomfortable interacting with these muses, please let me know!

⭐ Replies

I try to reply within 1-3 days, but sometimes I get busy and can’t keep to that time frame. However, if it has been a week or longer, please feel free to reach out to me. I may have overlooked your reply or didn’t get the notification. Some threads are easier for me to reply to than others and so those may take longer, but I will answer as soon as I can!

On the flip side of the things, I will never ask or remind you about a reply, thread, plot, or anything like that - regardless of how long it's been - unless we have discussed that you want me to.

I understand that roleplaying is a hobby, so if at any time for any reason you want to drop a thread or anything, that's fine. You don't need to tell me. I do ask, though, that if something in thread has made you uncomfortable, that you do please tell me so that I can correct myself going forward. I understand that I can't force you to do this, but your comfort is important to me and I'd really like to make sure I don't accidentally cross any boundaries going forward.

For the most part I will roughly match length for length, although sometimes my post lengths will run longer or shorter. I don't expect anyone to match the length of my longer replies, but please give me enough to work with. A couple of short paragraphs with some dialogue and descriptions should be enough. Most importantly, please remember the all-important "yes, and-" aspect of roleplaying. If there isn't enough for me to work with, then I will likely drop the thread.

⭐ Shipping

While I do enjoy shipping, it is not the main focus of my blog. If your primary interest in roleplaying is shipping and you want to ship right off the bat, then it might be best for you to seek interactions elsewhere - this isn't anything against you or shipping, it's just that I'd rather us both be up front about it and not waste each other's time.

That said, if you're here for all other kinds of interactions and you get an idea for a ship or one starts to develop between our muses, I'm all for it!

My blog is multiship. That means that my that all of muses may be shipped with more than one character and from different verses, AUs, or even in the same verse.

I prefer to ship with chemistry.

I also prefer to let things develop naturally through rp threads, but I am always open to hearing your thoughts and ideas if you have a ship in mind. I'm perfectly willing to work towards a ship via plotting if the chemistry is there. I will always be 100% honest about whether or not I think the ship dynamic would work.

My muses want to get to know your muse and form bonds with them, but more often than not this takes time. Ships with my muses tend to be slow burn and don't happen within a thread or two. If you are looking for expedient ships, then ships with my muses aren't for you. If you're willing to take the time and patience to get to know my muses, then let's ship!

Also, please don’t ship with my muses just to collect ships or if you don’t intend on ever developing the ship with my muse. I have had too many people want to ship and then never do anything and it’s very frustrating.

Please be mindful of my muse’s ages when interacting with them! I will not allow Anons or ANYONE who is a minor to interact romantically and/or sexually with them, even in jest. It’s inappropriate and makes me uncomfortable.

⭐ Plotting

I am open to plotting! Usually I let things unfold as they go, but I do occasionally have plots running and little situations for my muses to get into. If you want to be involved or want my muses to be involved with your plots, feel free to ask!

If it's a plot that I am running on my blog and you have chosen to have your muses involved, please understand that I will keep the plot running at my pace. Others may be involved as well and aside from that I'd like to keep my overarching plots moving at the pace that I set for them.

If it's a plot we have going between us and our muses that we have worked on together, then I am happy to take things at whatever pace you like. I'll reply as you are available whether it's days or weeks or months out. I won't ask you about replies or dropped threads or anything like that unless we've discussed that you want me to.

Please do not feel obligated to participate in my plots. Also, if we are plotting and I pitch a plot to you and you don’t want to go with it, you are welcome to tell me no and we'll move on.

⭐ Trigger warnings/content warnings

I will tag the following items as indicated below. They’ll be tagged as CW - for example: CW blood. If you have any particular triggers, squicks, or things that make you feel uncomfortable, please tell me so that I may add it to this list and remember to tag them for you!

⭐ Stuff I am NOT comfortable with roleplaying

Smut. I am not really into rping smutty stuff. Suggestive or dirty humor, implying things, flirting, mentioning it, saying it happened, asking questions about my muses’ sex life, and suchlike is all fine - just nothing overly explicit, please. I don’t mind other people rping smut and following those who do; I am just uncomfortable rping it myself. If in any case an rp starts going in that direction, I’ll have it fade to black or skip ahead.

Excessive violence towards children. It’s okay if it’s part of a muse’s past, and in threads I am also okay with some angst and general childhood things like skinned knees and the like. But I am not comfortable rping actual threads where there is excessive harm being done towards children.

Toxic/abusive relationships, especially ones being handled like it’s romantic or sexy. I don’t find abuse romantic and I will not portray it that way. If you do, that’s fine, I’d just prefer not to be a part of it. Thank you.

⭐ Stuff I am comfortable with

Violence? Sure. Blood and gore, let the viscera ooze forth. Cursing? Fuck yeah! Crude humor? Of course! General horror - definitely!

⭐ Blocking

I don't block people easily, except in cases of racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny, pedophilia, etc. If I have an issue, I will come talk to you about it first and give warnings prior to blocking. I much prefer to talk about things and try to work things out before blocking.

If I find you’ve blocked me, though, then I will also block you so your blog doesn’t keep coming up as a suggested blog.

I ask that if you truly don’t want to rp or talk ooc with me anymore, please hard block me instead of soft blocking. Tumblr has a glitch that randomly makes you unfollow people sometimes, so if you soft block me I’ll assume it was the glitch and follow you again. Hard blocking will communicate to me that you don’t wish to interact any further with me at all and I’ll get the message.

And finally...

⭐ Communication

This is a big one for me.

I do my best not to cross anyone's boundaries, but I am not a perfect person and I will make mistakes, as we all do. It’s important to me that if you have any issues with anything that you please tell me, so that I can do better going forward. It doesn’t matter how big or small - please bring it to my attention. Don’t let it fester. It is always better to talk about it than to try to shrug it off. I will do the same - if I have any issues, I will bring them to your attention.

If at any time you want to stop writing together, I understand. Sometimes muses fall out and even mun chemistry can go sour or you lose interest for one reason or another. All I ask is that if you truly don’t wish to rp together anymore, please let’s decide to peacefully part ways. Please don’t force yourself to keep replying to me out of a sense of obligation. I would rather us go our separate ways than for you to feel obligated to reply to me when you aren’t into it anymore.
