#why can't someone make their life more colorful by being passionate about a thing

I will sound like I am 45 and not 25 ofc, but to be truthful, I am heading towards losing my joy and passion as a fan-artist. It is about the fandoms as a concept in general, without applying it to any specific one. More like about, WHAT fandoms are by now.

I tend to dive into a game/show/whatever ears deep because as an autist I interact with a lot of concepts vicariously through fiction, but also because I just have this natural wish to respect and love (revere, even) something, and complicated creative works that combine several art types work just well. But fandoms are... bad. They are just bad. Now this is absolutely normal for some gremlin that doesn't know anything about the source material to jump in and start to do their thing - be it being super inaccurate to begin with, breaking the source material to replace with their agenda and tastes, or simply spam a lot of samey, 'soulless'(?) fanart with clear clout in mind to, as kids call it, "build the platform" so they can let the STONKS roll in and promote their own stuff at last if they have it.

Like... This is what fandoms ARE by now. Halfway the grinding ground to gain following to sell commissions to, halfway a ground to spread politics and opinions. Business or propaganda. Not a matter of whether products and propaganda are for good things, they're value neutral concepts and can be used for good or bad equally, but both are not ABOUT the source material. Okay, not fully halfway - some ears-deep fans still are here. But why even? When we, actual fans, give people essays on why they are drastically wrong about a character - we get mocked for not having (highlight the correct: real life, girlfriend, touched the grass, job, all applies). When we demand respect and accuracy to the source material - we are called snobbish entitled gatekeepers at least, accused of various isms and phobias at large. When we try to encourage something deeper and more interesting - again, people tell us we are "boring" and that no one cares about this or that character, and outright boast about how they are only here for this sexy man or for that ship and not really lore dive.

Even basically ancient fandoms like Doctor Who, Star Wars or Star Trek that sprouted THANKS TO those exact "30+ loosers with no life" could no longer uphold the whole ears-deep fan mentality because new installments invited too much shallow fans that are prone to mocking too, and celebrities that are responsible for making awful reboots/continuations can just violate the source however they want under cover of "everyone who doesn't like it is just a sexist and racist incel". This is just how it is now. Passion, elaborate knowledge on the source and respect for a thing truly great creative minds created are now considered DIRTY things, and are a proof of one's inferiority in accomplishments and personality. Because fandoms are no longer a place to gather FANS. They are "platforms".

I just consider, would it be more fun to either invest in the fandoms for real people (composers, poets, scientists, etc) where loving the source material for what it is is a requirement (because...... real people... historical accuracy....), or to just head towards creation my own thing sooner than later? I got to say though, I am thankful for each and every fan in whatever fandom I visited that was/is just as passionate as me. It felt, and still feels less lonely to have more people that don't see shame in REALLY fucking loving stories and characters.

Photographers AU Lore (+ Character Headcanons)

You know, when I originally started developing this AU it was during the beginning of my obsession with Archivists, I wanted to write a sort of love story about them and also make them part of a polycule with Roier because yes, while guapoduo isn't my otp anymore, I still do very much enjoy their relationship and a big part of Cellbit's character development is due to Roier being a major influence in it.

And so, a major reason why their polycule relationship works is also because of Roier.

Even though the polycule is centered around Cellbit, he's the most level headed between the three of them and is the one that keeps the relationship under control, lest he lets those two old men get way over their heads and end up lost in their passion for each other.

Because really, all three of them have their own issues and red flags, but at least Roier has experience with understanding and working on his own issues, even though he is the youngest in the relationship. He doesn't have a psychology degree just for it to serve as a wall decoration for his office after all.

Cellbit has too many issues, we all know the more obvious and problematic ones like the murderous past and the cannibalism, but red is Roier's favorite color anyway so whatever. Thing is, he also has a myriad of problems that indirectly affects his relationships with others, which wouldn't be perceptiple to people who don't have the knowledge about the less obvious signs of trauma. He's also very obviously neurodivergent, which complicates things even more.

He has a lot of accumulated trauma, deeply rooted trust issues, has problems with understanding and dealing with his emotions and is quite frankly very depressed. Roier has already helped him with a lot of those issues before, but for some of them there's not much that he can do besides offering his undying support for him.

But Philza, fortunately, can fill in the gaps in his heart that have been carved out by his own grief and insecurities, those that Roier doesn't quite fit in.

When someone goes through a traumatic experience, especially during the early stages of life, their brain can sometimes erase parts of their memory that contain those painful moments, while also erasing a good chunk of the good things in the process. So really, even if the federation hadn't erased most of the memories of his childhood, Cellbit probably wouldn't have remembered much of it anyway.

From his perspective, he never actually had anyone before coming to the island, he grew up not having any sort of safety net and not knowing the love and support that can be given by a family. He'd managed to raise Richarlyson with all the love and care that he could, but he never got to experience something similar for himself.

Philza's love for him gives him that sensation of truly being part of a family and much, much more. He is loved, supported, cherished and cared for, like a father would do so for a son. It's true that he also has romantic feelings for the man, but that doesn't mean that those and their familial feelings for each other can't coexist.

And Roier just can't bring himself to feel insecure about their relationship, because Philza simply fulfils a different role in Cellbit's life. He is not being replaced, he can't be replaced in Cellbit's heart, but he also can't give him what Philza provides for him.

His initial idea was to maintain their relationships separate, Cellbit can date the both of them, but Roier and Philza would not meddle in the other's business in any way, shape or form. However, fate does work in mysterious ways, so Roier and Philza actually end up being really close friends due to their shared love for Cellbit.

He still gets a little bit annoyed when he has to separate those two old geezers from their passionate make out sessions before they devour each other, but it's a very small price to pay for all the happiness that he has experienced by having them as his family.

Concept for my own TDAU oc

May I present to you my own TDAU oc. Vinzie The Offensive Magician! (I can't draw for shit, so for now I'll just explain his design, most details in his design represent something, I'll make an official drawing of his design probably very later on) Now they're a troll with Bluish skin and darker blue hair, their blue hair is mostly covered by his magician hat! And you guessed it they wear the typical black and red magician clothing! They have bruises on their arms and a black eye on their face, with noticeable tear streaks on his cheeks. The part of their hair that isn't covered by his hat is messy and clearly hasn't been combed. Heavy eyebags. He posts on all social media platforms you can think of. Under the name of @offensive_magician_official display name being "Vinziel" his real name (no this isn't a self insert. I just used my own name because of how unique it is). He is very active on his social medias and constantly gets into dramas (on purpose of course) purposefully causing discourse.

Lore Time!! He's non-binary using He/They pronouns and is gay! Now, his parents were very absent when he was a kid, and full on abandoned him in his teens, he was treated like a ghost, no one would notice him, everyone would walk past him. Once he got on steady footing and had a sustainable job, he dated the one and only John Dory! Now John Dory was only dating Vinz to experiment if he's gay or not but it didn't even feel like Vinz was a partner to him since he was pretty much so focused on Brozone, they don't hang out or talk much and if they did John only talks about Brozone, they ended things on a sour note (Mostly on Vinz's side, John didn't feel much after the breakup), now this lead Vinz on a downward slope, no one paid attention to them, not even his ex-partner. Unlike John though their strive for fame and atteu is Self-destructive and not destructive to others.

This led Vinz to do offensive comedy using magic tricks. He'd offend EVERYONE, leftist, rightist, conservatives, the gays, the old and the young, the communist, the capitalist. Nothing was off limits for them to offend. He didn't care about the death threats, he didn't care about the harassment and assault he'd experience in the streets because someone recognized him, ATTENTION IS ATTENTION in their books. The only person keeping him from getting killed was Bruce who was in good terms with them, since whenever John would leave Vinz alone to do Brozone stuff and basically forget he's even there, Bruce would be there to keep him company. Basically he's the reason he isn't completely insane. In real life he's actually very nice and caring, though he is mentally unstable. His online personality is the one where he is offensive.(though that won't last long since his online personality will eventually consume his actual one but for now let's imagine it hasn't). For his relationships Bruce is the only person he's actually close with, and one of the only people to know him personally. (fun fact he once appeared on Satin and Chenille's show, which only lasted 3 minutes before he got kicked out due to the amount of offensive jokes he was making about the twins). In terms of love life they are single, and probably shouldn't even be in a relationship with how unstable he is. He's very good at masking what he feels which is why so many people hate him because they think he's really serious about what he says. He does have some defenders online saying "it's just a joke" or "y'all are snowflakes" the people who defend them are people who think "Joke about everything or joke about nothing" mentality. His offensiveness doesn't stop at jokes by the way. He'd actually do stuff that makes people hate him even more.

Now explaining my choices in his design. Now why a magician you may ask and not a jester or a clown. Well no explanation I just wanted them to be a magician. Their color schemes in their hat and suit are Black and Red. Red represents passion, they're passionate about what they do, he loves the attention, Black means mastery, he's able to offend anyone and anything. The tear streaks on his cheeks represent the endless crying he does off camera, the messy hair explains his messy life of being offensive to gain attention. The bruises represent the assaults and harassment he experiences on a daily basis(yes the way he offends people is JUST that bad) and sometimes it represents his own destructiveness to himself. The blue skin and hair represent his pathetic and sad life. The eyebags represent his lack of sleep thinking of new and unique offensive jokes (this guy makes the most creative offensive joke, he sometimes reuses them but it's mostly new and very creative to the point sometimes people would be more shocked than offended, when a chinese president would die he'd make a joke like "Looks like the dog had rabies").

Think more games should just start with straight, curly, wavy, and everything in between options from the get go especially if it supports PoC's representation in media and video gaming as a whole. Same goes with gender diversity and relationship diversity in media writing to allow for more LGBT+ representation in media. Ideally these things would be baked in from the get go. World might not be an ideal world but it shouldn't stop us as creatives from making it that way.

Its like that one post about if a kid smiles at you, you should smile back so we can make the world a kinder better place. Not so much that you would be getting anything grand out of it or life isn't cruel its that we should be working towards a place where life didn't always be cruel, it could be kind and pleasant, happy and mostly free of strife. Bad things would still happen, no one can predict or 100% deal with cancer, immune deficient diseases, or chronic pain to fully cure stuff. But, it doesn't mean we can't make the world gentler to those afflicted to such things and even those who aren't.

We live in a world resistant to change that the future requires and requests. I vaguely recall from the time period between when I went to Middle to High School. People being gay, lesbian, etc. was like you basically walked up to someone and killed their dog or something akin to the atrocity. There were entire fucking marches through my small town of no real note to keep gay marriage from happening. Even at the time I felt that was fucking ridiculous. The following ten years was making it okay for two women or men to hold hands or kiss in an animated television show. Cause lord won't you please think of the children.

Despite all the resistance this world provides us, at least in America, I dunno how Germany, the Netherlands, Chad, Angola, the Phillippines, or Taiwan feel about this subject or how they've been dealing with it, we should be making the world more welcoming and representative of all its people within the certain limits that we are not providing a platform for dictatorship and fascist ideals that will strip a person of all rights while glorifying the legacy and power of a singular man or group of men whose selfishness absorbs an entire country and causes its people to suffer intentionally through ignorance or apathy.

But, with the stresses of the today's world. We cannot all be made to charge the metaphorical beaches of Normandy for the cause. Some of us haven't the mental, emotional or even physical bandwidth to champion good causes in an active manner. But we still feel it strongly even if we do not have the words to describe it. And as social creatures, humans will be passionate and want to communicate it. If they cannot, we wish to at least be validated in causes we hold fast to even if we are not at liberty to fully express it for whatever reason.

So just like...break even with us and give people, particularly those of the LGBT+, People with Disabilities and PoC and their intersection representation in options of hairstyle, skin tone, romantic or lack thereof exploration/representation and the options to give people the option to like turn on a color blind mode or a certain control set up to allow stuff like...Dark Souls to be more welcoming to them.

I dunno exactly who I am talking to in making this post I just have THOUGHTS after the recent FFXIV Hairstyle Competition. And the thought was mostly, "Why did we have to hold a contest to get some of these hair styles? Why weren't they in the game to begin with?" probably resources. But like...still, ya know?

Sashanne: It's more than just enemies-to-lovers, it's friends-to-enemies-to-lovers, and this makes a big difference.

I'm personally a big sucker for the we used to be friends trope, the idea of two (or more) previously close people being separated by circumstance ideology or what have you is really interesting to me, add reconcilation and romance to the mix and it becomes something really good.

Like: "We know each other, we've seen our best, our worst, we've hurt each other, we've gone our separate ways, we came back together, things will never be the same but we now have something more."

Basically it is passion, a type of passion like playing with magnets repelling and attracting.

Marcanne: This is sweet, soft, sacharinne, fluffness, like I'm getting cavities just thinking about it.

It is the dream most everyone has of dating your best friend, the person closest to you, the one you can truly be yourself with.

You've known this person since forever, so you don't need to put any barriers or pretend to be someone else, because they've seen you for who you are and that's why they like you.

And now you can be even more with them, precisely because of that.

Sasharcy: This one is interesting for a lot of reasons (among them that it became popular after "True Colors," like what the heck?), but if I had to describe it, it would be like understanding and solace.

Understanding as in "You understand me. There are people who know me, people I feel comfortable with, but you get me, we don't need words we simply click together."

And solace as in, we know each others faults, sins and mistakes. We can't really offer forgiveness but we can give each other solace, comfort in knowing we are not alone in our mistakes, because sometimes forgiveness is worst than punishment.

And...

Sashannarcy (because of course I'll also talk about this): This one I simply adore, it is more than just the combination of the other three.

For me Sashannarcy is like a blessed rain that keeps droughts and wildfires at bay, it is the spice that gives flavor to a good meal, it is kind words and an outstreched hand that promises everything will be ok and that whatever bad things happen you can get over them.

12. what’s some good advice you want to share?

Ain't good with this stuff I feel so yeah...But...Cling to what makes you happy and keeps ya going...Even if it's fiction, a character, or a harmless hobby/passion. Even if others might see it as nothing, pointless, silly, etc...

If it means lots to ya, makes ya happy and has great meaning to ya. Especially if it helps ya through the days and your life, especially during those dark times. Then that's all that matters in the end. Your happiness matters.

So cling to that and never let it go...but by some chance, you do lose it or it fades away(like love for a series/character/etc) naturally in time, or for other reasons...Look for another thing to make ya happy and keep ya going...Just don't stop seeking and clinging to things that keep ya living and help ya find a reason to smile and keep going...

(This especially goes for f/os, even if your mind screams at ya they aren't real and you're fucking alone and will never experience or feel real love/affection/etc. fuck that voice. if living in fantasy, with them, keeps ya going and makes ya happy. and it ain't harming anyone and stuff. then cling to those fictional loves of yours and let them shower you with the love, care and happiness you damn deserve...maybe i'm saying this more for myself but i'm sure someone might relate or need this too...)

Don't have just one but lately been very attached to purple...I don't recall exactly why but...I guess because of mystical reasons? I dunno...but it's pretty color and use it often now. lol

...Like to make me feel better?? Cope?? tbh not much helps i feel...once sadness(depression) hits, its like...being buried alive, or dragged down in the dark waters and I can't get out...So I just...ride it out...or wait it out until I finally am set free again from the suffering.

...If I do have the will to do something though in those rare times, than just feel so weak I can't move and crap...I try to watch some youtube videos of my favorite gamers or such...In hopes to get a good laugh from them. Laughter is the best medicine after all...that's what they say. Or play some video games...(speaking of which...want to buy RE2 remake that's on sale rn, might be a good distraction and pick me up but want to save money for future stuff too. lol hard to decide so still thinking about it)

Is it okay if I ask you another floriography questions? It's the flowers in V's birthday CG last year. I love the color combination of the bouquet and I think it's possible that MC is the one who arrange all the stuffs on the table to celebrate his birthday -book anon-

See, I forget the flower vase is there because I'm laser-focused on the grip V has on that glass. Why is he holding it so tight? V, that drink is not going anywhere, you don't need to hold onto it that tightly. I still laugh about this. He can't keep getting away with this stuff and make me laugh so hard. V always tends to get CGs where there's just one little factor off about it.

Anyway, I'd be happy to answer your question on this to the best of my abilities! I can tell there’s a lot of flowers in this bouquet so we have to sit down and work it out the only way I know how. We have to check the colors, count the petals, and process what family it’s in before we figure out what it is. It’s tough, but that’s the stuff I love to do. 

Okay, so I’ll have to pick these apart from you one by one since there’s a lot of stuff going on. So, the first thing that I notice right off the bat is a Lilac sprig on the bouquet. I use lilac as my trademark flower so it would be silly for me to not notice it immediately. They’re bundled together and often in shapes like this, it is a solid flower to stick in your bouquet since it stands for the first love of spring.

I love that. Love at first sight is a beautiful thing. But, sometimes your heart just remembers who you adore when you see them for the first time in this life after years have passed since the last one. It’s a love that’s sweet and reminds you of the first day of a blossoming springtime where the flowers will always remind you of new beginnings. 

Now, the next flower that I notice in this photo happens to be hydrangeas. That’s a solid pick for someone who wants to express something boldly. By giving your heart to someone, you are sharing your truest and deepest feelings with them as a person... and the pink hydrangea stands for that. It means giving your heart to someone that you love deeply and truly. For someone like Jihyun who has had to learn what it means to allow himself to love in a way that’s healthy, I think this suits him.

His love is genuinely passionate once he knows how to love himself, and by having this flower here, it means that he’s open to love and he’s ready to let it inside of his heart again. Even if that means it may not work out, he’s okay for things to change for the first time. 

The next flower that I see is a little hard to tell from the center since there’s a lot of white/yellow combinations out there. However, I feel as though my best guess in this situation would fall between Daisy and Camellia. However, due to the way the center looks more like connected stems as oppose to a flat center, I have to lean more towards the latter. Did you know that these are known to be wedding flowers in a few countries? It’s because they’re tied to innocence and purity of true love. 

They also can stand for admiration and respect... which I can see for V. Why wouldn’t he admire you and love you for being strong? You’ve both learned a lot from each other in your time together, and there’s a lot to be said about what it means to admire the person you love. You don’t have to envy them or want to copy them, but you can be inspired by them to create the world that you want to live for yourself and others. V wants to feel... free. 

Now, the next flower definitely had me thinking because big blooms like this tend to be thought of as roses. Now, I think it’s possible that it’s a rose but my heart is telling me to consider that it’s a Peony. White peonies symbolize bashfulness so it’s kind of like admitting you’re a little shy or embarrassed... and well, knowing a boy named Jihyun Kim means that you know someone that feels shame right on his sleeve for things he’s done. He feels regretful and wants to make things out to be better than they used to be. 

But, he’s not sure how to do that... so he has to admit that he wants to learn and be better with you. He has to talk with you to reach the place he wants to be by in your heart. He’s shy as he learns how to love again, and I think this is a good representation of his love... shy, but willing to learn how to be passionate about you. It makes sense with the flowers that we’ve already discussed.

That, my dear, is a bundle of Forget Me Nots. When you give someone this tiny flower, it represents a promise that you will always remember them and that your love for them is true. It’s a strong flower that you see often in romance stories. it has a lot to do with the fact that they can stand for remembrance, too. it’s a love that persists even in death. Your love will never die, and you will never forget the person you gifted these to. 

I think giving these to V is... well, a little on the nose since we know what happens to him in the Secret Ending. But, it makes sense for who he is, and throwing that in it is a little homage to the other reality where you didn’t get to know him the way you do in this reality. 

These look like the tiniest daisies I’ve ever seen. A lot of white flowers stand for the same thing but daisies are the epitome of purity and innocence. You tend to see them as gifts to people who are going to have a baby because of this fact. I don’t know what that says about this photo, but I do know that giving this to the person you love means your love for them is a sweet love. It’s like when you’ve found your first love as a child, it’s like a puppy crush but sometimes that can be something that evolves over time into something sweet. 

Like childhood sweethearts. That’s the kind relationship you have... even though you didn’t know each other, but it feels like you’ve known each other for that long now. 

Last but not least, we’ve got what I assume to be Baby’s Breath. That’s one of the most common staple flowers for people to use. I don’t usually see bouquets without it. This flower is known to be everlasting love, it’s the kind of love that is beyond true love. It means everything to you and the person you’re gifting it to. I point this out because they’ve used Baby’s Breath for Saeyoung before, and it’s worth saying that this particular bloom is a pink variety. 

By adding pink into the bloom, it implies that your love in sweet, sincere, and innocence. It’s the kind of love that you’d never give up. It’s gentle, just like V wishes to be with you.

Ohhhh yeah, her!!

I have written plenty of headcanons on her so far, and she was one of the first Bloodborne characters I got invested in - and one of the first characters I've drawn! She is amongst my most elaborate Bloodborne portrayals in terms of headcanons, analysis and story! Fun fact - she is also my second most posted character, after Mico! Not to mention her frequient appearance in my dreams, too? Again, it is a little... odd, how I do not express all that much passion about her, despite having a VERY elaborate map of her in my head. Do you know how sometimes you really care about the character, but for some reason you need an extra stimul to actually bring up your thoughts and feelings? I am like this about her. Unassuming externally, but having a lot of things to say internally! I also would like to link some headcanons about her that I've written for another ask meme for her: ( x ).

Her design is really good, I love everything about it! Her face is so beautiful, and is more unique than you might assume! Her hair is not regular blonde but that paler, 'ashy' color, her eyes are not blue but mint green, her eyebrows are WHITE (Pthumerian blood much? :p) and the circles under her eyes (again - Pthumerian blood much??). And her eyelashes are very notably pale, too:

When I draw her, I always get stuck just looking at her. And her hunter outfit is really great variant of the Knight clothes! Her wearing normal fancy Knight outfit, full of red and gemstones would just not feel the same. More modest yet more elegant look is PERFECT.

There is a lot going on about this character, too. I obsess over the fact that she could not bear the heartbreak after Fishing Hamlet and discarded the hunt as a concept, instead opting out for being a caretaker for the patients. And how she parallels Djura who also quit the hunt! But Djura survived for such a long time, comfortable in his purpose, yet Maria gave up and killed herself. I mean, there is a merit in the cut content idea that Simon ended her life in reality, but I think her suicide works better. (And how much you want to bet it was Adeline's death that was the last straw for Maria?..) She is a knight that was willing to help the humanity and protect it, but ended up losing her own, which is a tragedy consistent for Bloodborne it seems.

I also feel like she did have some weakness, meekness even, to her personality in the end, which is why despite having abandoned her clan and distasting blood she was powerless to protect Adeline from falling into their questionable antics. And chose passive role of caretaker for Church's (questionable!!!) business and keep their secret, despite having regretted ever taking part in the massacre. And could not go on, unlike Djura. She is a strong and stoic person, indeed, and a very skilled warrior, but also there is just... something. You know? She will kill a scary monster without problem, but when it comes to putting up a fight of the character, like resisting an intimidating authority - I feel she can't do that. Not even to protect someone dear, like Adeline. That, or Laurence sucks in people's courage like a black hole, wouldn't put it past the bastard either She will act very decisively in life and death situation on the battlefield, but will be an absolute coward about confessing her feelings or something...? Like unrealised trauma that has been a 'crack' in her soul. But she still would rise up despite it to do what she believed was right. It feels like doing sport despite a physical trauma that might betray you any time, but mentally so.

Alright, you see what I mean? Any attempt to discuss Maria's personality makes me dive into one of the corners of her character. And she has several! I think if I was to write a devoted character analysis for her that is not spread across several posts, it would actually take a few days to put together!

We also can only be sure about her dynamics with Adeline and Gehrman, but there is otherwise a lot of potential for her knowing other characters, too! I love what we got, however! A lot to speculate on, both have good fundament for very elaborate story!

In general, I love her character. You are not from the Western fandom but you will find that some fans will simplify her very unpleasantly. On the one hand, some drooling horny dudes that simply see her as a sexy female knight (that needs a makeover as if she is not attractive enough already...? wtf...). On the other hand, toxic adult babies that think her whole character will crumble and lose appeal if she likes not only women but men too, or if she has not only masculine sides to her character, but feminine ones too. I say, whatever character trait you pick on about her, she is always more than that. Exploring her beyond just being a badass, powerful, skilled hunter expands and complicates her character, but some people will call it "reducing" her because for them being strong and being "feminine" (?) are mutually exclusive traits for some reason. I'd also make a point that the fact she not only discarded the hunt, but her becoming a hunter again as a punishment in literal Hell is a BIG evidence against 'her TRUE self is a mean murderous warrior and Gehrman disrespected it' flex. But you already understand by now that in Western fandoms, based fans are in the trenches every day xD

All in all, Maria is probably the most interesting character in Bloodborne that can offer a lot to think about for everyone. There are always many ways to interpret her none of which is "absolute" and none of which "robs" any demographic off anything. This is what happens when a character is written like a person, and not like a 'statement'! ...and I say all this when she barely has any dialogue, and we as lore people are left to grasp at item descriptions, nonverbal narrative, actions of other characters, Dolls look in relation with Gehrman having feelings so warm it made Doll cry tears of joy, Doll wearing Maria's ribbon shoes and pendant, cut content, their spiritual connection, Cainhurst context......

"It's ridiculous how I just can't get bored from looking at your face" Jia complained standing with her back rested against the wall near the mirror earning a gummy smile from Yoongi. He had brought her to the dressing room while getting ready for the concert. She was watching him getting his makeup done.

"I'll apply his lip color. It'll probably get removed when I kiss him" Jia said to the makeup artist who smiled at her comment.

"So you plan before kissing me?"

"No. That's why I told her" Jia said trying not to touch his face and ruining his makeup.

"Take a picture of me" Yoongi asked giving her his phone. She even knew his pin by now. Seven months together and they both trusted each other more than anything.

"Give me a gummy smile" Jia asked him before clicking a picture. Then she changed to the front camera and pulled him for a selfie.

"That's such a good one" Jia smiled looking at their pictures. She quickly put a peck on his lips. Yoongi smiled caressing her hair.

"Unnie you can apply the lip color now" Jia said shyly to the makeup artist.

"Now I'll go to my seat or someone might think it's vacant. Burn the stage baby" Jia smirked before going outside to the stadium.

She had bought the first row tickets even though Yoongi insisted on making arrangements. She went to the bathroom first to fix her makeup and brush her hair untying them. She changed her clothes too since she'd came here in her casuals which weren't very concert appropriate. One thing about Kang Jia she always wanted to be the best dressed person.

Latching the bathroom door she quickly changed into a red top with straps and a black skirt with floral prints. She changed her sneakers with her black boots. She quickly did her makeup a layer of mascara, concealer and her signature red lipstick. She also wore the pearl necklace and earrings Yoongi had gifted her on their 200th day together.

Running to her car Jia threw her huge tote bag into the backseat and took out the smaller purse she had brought and then she stood in the line to get inside the venue. Nobody would ever believe they were standing in the line next to Min Yoongi's their idol's girlfriend.

BTS and Army's enjoyed the whole concert together with lots of heart warming moments meeting after months. They had their last concert in Korea back when Yoongi and Jia met in Busan, seven months ago.

Jia got the whole experience of attending a bangtan concert for the first time. She now understood what it felt like to love their music and enjoy it. Although they were all her friends now but still it was an experience she could never jot down with words. Watching Yoongi perform unfolded a side of him she hadn't seen before. She had never seen him do something with such passion before. He really did love what he did. Music was his whole life.

To the end of the concert Jia held a placard in her hand with the classic saying of army's 'YOONGI MARRY ME' except it was different for her, she actually had a chance. Yoongi noticed her standing in the front and passed a toothy grin to her. He thought it was just for fun little did he knew she had other plans.

Yoongi was being filmed the entire time when he went back to the dressing room after the concert he thought it was just for some content but when he reached there it was nothing like when he left it. Jia went down on one knee with a ring in a box held in her hand. The room was decorated with flowers and balloons and candles. The placard she was holding in her hand before was now hanging on the wall.

"Yoongi..." He instantly had tears in his eyes which he wiped before walking upto her. He sat down cross legged in front of her and made her do the same. They didn't care that they were being filmed the whole time not for content to preserve these precious memories forever.

"You already know how much I love you Yoongi. We were two strangers sitting on the beach the night we first met. I think about it sometimes if you hadn't talked to me that night this would've never happened I would've never known true love. You've made my life complete, filled the void in my heart, loved me so immensely that I can't think about a future without you."

"My life was a dark blank page which you painted red with your color Jia"

"Shh.. let me do it. I might lose my mind if I don't get to say everything" Jia chuckled wiping her tears. "You've showed me how much I'm capable of loving someone and showed me how much love I'm deserving of. You've made me a better person Yoongi. In short, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me Min Yoongi?" Jia asked him with the ring in her hand.

Yoongi pulled out his wallet from his pocket and took out the ring he had been carrying around for days now.

"Oh my god" Jia was surprised when he took out the ring.

"Dont ever let my life be colorless again. Will you marry me Kang Jia?" Yoongi asked.

"Say yes" the whole staff and the other six members cheered for them standing at the door.

"Yes" they both said at the same time and slid the ring on each other's fingers. They both leaned in for a kiss on the lips. It lasted for a minute before they pulled apart and hugged each other.

"I love you" they said their voices overlapping each other's making them giggle.

They looked around at the people after they were out of their own little world. All clapping for the engaged couple.

"There's food and drinks for everyone" Jia said standing up with her fingers intertwined with Yoongi's. People congratulated them one after the other.

"I need good pictures taken" Jia pulled the cameraman requesting him to take pictures of her and Yoongi together and also her alone.

"Plan the wedding soon hyung. I can't wait to sing at your wedding" Jimin teased Yoongi.

"I can't wait too" he joked back.

Yoongi and Jia drank their champagne standing in a corner together telling each other how excited and confident they were about this. And that they should have the wedding within the next three months.

As soon as Jia posted her picture showing her engagement ring, countless congratulations and questions started pouring in. Congratulating her for the engagement and questioning who it was with but she refrained from answering any of the questions.

"My period had to start on the night I proposed. Seriously I hate my organs" Jia sighed at the disappointment of not being able to have celebratory sex with Yoongi. Both of them sat on Yoongi's bed.

"We'll make up for it baby. Besides we have so many things to do. We have a whole wedding to plan."

"I want to do it as soon as possible" Jia said turning towards Yoongi.

"Me too"

"First of all we need to book a venue before planning other things."

"We could make bookings for the earliest date they have" Yoongi added.

"Get your laptop. Let's search for locations." Yoongi ran to his desk to get his laptop and jumped on the bed beside her. Jia sat hugging a cushion and her head rested on Yoongi's shoulder.

"Wedding venues in Seoul" he typed in the search bar. The options didn't really interest both of them. One hotel catched their eye but it had no bookings open for the next four months.

Yoongi kept scrolling down while Jia kept saying no repeatedly. She played with her new ring continously moving her fingertips over it. Yoongi smiled looking at her unconsciously doing it. Her happiness for the engagement was the most important thing to him. He knew she had been in an unhappy engagement before now he'd changed her world and her mind about these things.

"Wait... scroll up" Yoongi did as she said. "This one... Yoongi I wanna get married here" she said touching the screen. It was a small rooftop bar with a view of the hills.

"Jia they don't conduct weddings in this place." Yoongi tried to convince her it wasn't a wedding venue.

"We already know we don't want many people at the wedding ceremony itself most people are going to be there in the reception. So it's perfect, we could at least try"

"Fine, I'll try but don't have high hopes." Yoongi told her.

"Mail them"

"Now? You will be the death of me" Yoongi said while she giggled. He opened up his personal email and mailed the bar if they would be able to book the place for a wedding ceremony"

"I need to change my pad. You send that damn email" Jia said before going to the toilet. Yoongi nodded in yes.

Unexpectedly they answered quick "We don't book for weddings, apologies"

"I'm ready to xxxxx won" Yoongi typed. The respond was quick to be received "When do you wish to book sir?"

"Next month"

"Okay Sir you can choose between 21st, 23rd or 27th March." Yoongi thanked his stars for making it happen, he wanted everything to be perfect for Jia. He was marrying the woman of his dreams he would have nothing but only the best for her.

"Which date suits us better?" He asked Jia when she came back.

"Oh my god they agreed" Jia sat close to him.

"I made them" Yoongi said with a side grin.

"23rd. Something tells me it should be that. What do you think?"

"There's an important award show on 23rd." Yoongi said.

"Then 27th will be fine" Jia replied.

"It's a fan choice awards kinda means a lot to us. We want to attend it but then we'll be free so I could get an extended leave and we could even go on a long trip for our honeymoon."

Guest lists, catering, decorations, invitations, wedding attires, Yoongi and Jia planned the whole wedding on their own without a manager to help them.

"Yoongi.." Jia looked at him knowing he knew what she wanted to say after looking at all the wedding dress options in the stylists catalogue.

"You want a red dress?" Yoongi asked her. Jia nodded in yes.

"Ma'am do you make customised clothes?" Yoongi asked the designer.

Jia walked down the aisle when the other members sang 'My universe' even Chris was invited by them to sing at the wedding.

"Never ending forever baby" Yoongi said with the widest smile on his lips helping her get up on the platform holding her hands.

She was wearing a long red dress with red roses made out of silk covering the neckline. It was a gorgeous dress. Yoongi's tuxedo was made go compliment her dress with a red waistcoat and red tie while the other pieces were black.

The cake had red roses carved on it. All their close friends and family were present there and they were happy. Even the reception went well with all the people having fun dancing and eating. The bride and groom danced to their hearts content on bts's tunes playing.

Yoongi even sung a song for her playing the guitar, lyrics written by him and music produced by him which left Jia in tears.

After all the celebrations ended they took refuge in a luxury hotel suite. They changed into robes and first drank another glass of champagne together.

"No condoms.." Yoongi whispered hovering above her.

"We are husband and wife now. I'm still on the pill there are very very small chances of anything happening. Still if fate plays it's game we'll handle it"

"Yes we can handle anything together"

"Of course we can" Jia said holding his hand tightly, the one which had the wedding ring on.

"I'm so glad the wedding went perfectly"

"Everyone we invited came. Not even a single person was absent."

"Let's post a picture tomorrow. We have got to do it now. Then I'll have a livechat when we're on the plane"

It was a picture of them standing beside each other with their hands in front of their faces and it was written on Yoongi's palm JUST and on Jia's palm MARRIED. They didn't wanted to share pictures from the ceremony that was discussed and decided.

Headlines were already created. #YoonJi started trending in a matter of minutes. Jia gained thousands of followers in the matter of minutes. Her comment box was flooded with endless amounts of comments she could never complete reading. Although they did read a dozen together which congratulated them and some even hoping to see little Mins soon and most stating how lucky Jia was to find him. Some appreciated her costume while others asked questions about how they met and even knew pointed out she was engaged to him that's why she kept it a secret. People tried to speculate how long they'd been dating, some said she was pregnant hence they wedded within a month of their engagement. They both laughed reading the comments together. Yoongi even started to finally follow her page. All these months he had to use a private account to like and comment on her content.

"The people took it so well. I'm glad the media has had a positive response too" Yoongi said keeping his phone down and switching the TV on. The news was on every news channel.

Bangtantv posted a short video after a few hours as a gift for the newlyweds. They had posted an official announcement earlier when Yoongi posted. They both watched it together on the TV. It had snaps from their dating phase to their engagement and their wedding.

All the members congratulated the couple with pictures from the ceremony on their own handles.

In the evening they posted a selfie with finger hearts thanking all the people.

After two days when they were on their flight to Norway on their way to see the northern lights. Jia went live on her page. For the first time millions of people joined it.

Alex: When she is alone, Alex is a lot less put together. She acts less serious and lets herself be a lot less composed than she is when she is around others.

Jasper: Jasper's a lot quieter when he's alone. He also tends to heavily focus on his work so he's a lot more serious. He's the opposite of Alex in an odd way.

Zoe: Zoe's similar to Jasper in the sense that she is a lot quieter when she's alone. Her favorite part of Earth is humanity so she actually struggles with being alone a bit.

Rowan: You would think that he would be calmer when he's alone but he's actually the opposite. Being alone just leaves him festering with his anger but he's only able to direct it at himself. That's why he's usually out beating the shit out of criminals when he's not working.

2. What is your character's trigger point? What makes them angry, sad or makes them go off?

Alex: Alex's trigger point is a lack of commitment. She is someone who cares deeply about her work and duties and expects the same from the ones she respects and cares about.

Jasper: Jasper's trigger point is a lack of trust or loyalty. Make a stupid mistake? Just tell him. Have a dumb plan? Let him know and he'll probably go along with it! If you're close to him, he wants you to trust him with things, the same he would do with you.

Zoe: Zoe's trigger point is lacking an open mind. The world and humanity are incredibly fascinating to her and it makes her upset when people don't even want to try to see the different parts of it. She also can't stand unnecessary cruelty. Nobody on the team can, but Zoe in particular hates it with a burning passion.

Rowan: Rowan's trigger point is similar to Alex's. He believes if you got a job to do, you should do it right, and it enrages him if you don't even try to. He also hates when people give up. You don't need to succeed, you just need to try. That's all he wants.

3. What colours best represent them and why? Does this differ from their favourites?

Alex: Her favorite color does actually suit her! Blue represents things like tranquility, stability, and authority which are all important traits of hers.

Jasper: I think that the color that best suits Jasper is orange. It represents things like happiness, friendliness, and enthusiasm.

Zoe: The color that best represents Zoe is yellow. It represents things like joy, warmth, and kindness. I don't remember her favorite color off the top of my head but yellow is definitely one of her favorites.

Rowan: Rowan is best represented by the color red. He's passionate, strong, and has his fair share of rage. It does differ from his favorite colors which are green and black.

Vesper: The color that best represents Vesper is grey. Based on my research it represents things like neutrality and detachment which I think suits them pretty well.

Vesper doesn't have a favorite color so I can't say that it differs in any way.

Leon: I think Leon is best represented by the color green. His entire character and its arc is about growth. His favorite color is blue which also suits him!

Juni: Juniper is another one I see as being represented by yellow. She's very energetic and full of life. It does differ from her favorite color but I think that green also suits her in some ways.

Nora: Nora is best represented by the color white. She is very hopeful and has a pure heart underneath her timid nature. She's another one who's favorite color I can't remember off the top of my head but white is definitely up there too.

Sebastian: Sebastian is best represented by the color purple. It signifies regalness, strength, and maturity. His favorite color is black which I think also suits him a lot.

Vesper: Yes, it's definitely some weird shape though.

Jasper: He will argue to the ends of the earth that the best shape is an octagon.

Not gonna lie if Mikey had complete access to the internet something tells me that he would gravitate towards the RaWr XD aesthetic.

If you let them, Mikey and Leo would love to braid your hair. Mikey would do multiple ones complete with colorful hair accessories while Leo does one long complicated braid to the best of his abilities.

Although Mikey might try and inspire your artistik view Raph will actually give you tips on how to get better, 

Considering that the brothers have bulkier bodies in contrast to your body, they can't help but hold on to you a little longer when they hug you. You're just so shaped and lovable. Oh and when you cuddle bruh, it is, heaven to them, they sometimes squeeze you a bit unconsciously if they feel you're gonna leave.

Doonie is all for explaining his machines but he wouldn't mind listening to you rant about your interests, if anything it will only strengthen your bond. There is something so comforting about being able to talk to someone about your passions. He's also the type of guy that will listen to music with you while you both do your own things in each other's comfort.

Late night walks are bound to happen, whether they are taking you home making sure you're safe or just chilling on the rooftops chatting about everything and nothing.

If you give any of them a gift they will blow up, theoretically. Donnie is flabbergasted and blushes a whole lot, his brothers make fun of him for it but shut up when you give them gifts too. Leo is surprised but recovers fast and thanx you, Raph is standoffish and acts like he didn't want it but it's obvious he appreciated the gesture and Mikey is as joyous as ever. They only have themselves so getting a gift from you will surely be cherished.

If you have any scars or stretch marks they will, with your permission, trace them with their fingers, and that's the way they realized you were ticklish.

You know how a cat's purr has healing qualities? Yah, whenever you're feeling down or something substantially bad happens to you they will churn out of instinct, Raph and Donnie are most likely to do this in private. Otherwise Leo won't mind as much and Mikey has chirped towards you openly in front of the boys so he doesn't care.

Speaking of noises, they love hearing the random noises you make when you're at your prime. Raph likes hearing the little breathless gasps that are soon followed by that adorable giggle as he surprises you. Leo likes hearing the content sigh you let out when you're meditating or just chilling reading comics. Donnie likes hearing your awe at his work as he demonstrates them earning another gasp of amazement. And Mikey likes hearing your hmm's and ahh's as you think of new ideas together

Due to their lifestyle, being involved with them in any way is surely to put your life at risk, which is why they may seem a bit overprotective at times. Especially if a mission went wrong and the perpetrator they were fighting is still out there.

Each of them have gone through some heavy shit, so having someone that they can vent to is so refreshing. Raph with his anger issues, Donnie with his endless want for approval and Leo with his trauma. Although Mikey doesn't seem like the guy that needs a lot of comfort. There's no denying that watching his brothers almost die to protect him over and over again didn't cause some form of menatals scars. He's just really good at hiding it, besides he's supposed to be the goofball of the family, he's supposed to keep their morale up, and that's where you step in. To let him cry all his frustrations out, for all the times he felt weak and fragile, the worries of losing his only family washes oway for just that moment, such a brief moment that he will cherish for as long as he holds you in his memories.

You understand that the hardship they're going through would have rendered anyone beyond exhausted and depressed so you try to reassure them at every turn. You reassure them that you will always be proud of them as long as their actions are true to what they believe in. You will hold nothing but utmost love and respect for them till you've kicked the bucket.

What Lily cares about largely hasn't changed, despite how much she has changed, I feel like? And maybe that's, in large part, due to not RPing her in so long...but for now?

She cares deeply for her daughter, and her best friend Erythraestrasz - the red drake she was assigned to back in the war against the Lich King, when she was stationed in Dragonblight. He's been a loyal and steadfast friend since...and something of a father figure to her daughter, whose own father abandoned Lily's and his child - the man telling the woman to buy herself out of her deal with the demon tormenting her... with his unborn child. Lily never wanted a kid, but couldn't possibly harm one either - and a good thing that is, because her daughter Caitiri is her whole world. Eryth has kept her from the precipice for a long time now, but her child is what keeps the light shining, for her; that reminds her that her other commitments might be worthwhile, as well - that, perhaps, she can prove everyone wrong, at last, and make this curse into something useful and helpful...because if she can't have that hope, then why bother? She needs to have hope for the future, and for her daughter, after all. And doesn't she want a better Azeroth for Caitiri?

-This question has a lot of asks/nuance in it, so more below the cut!

So! Her passion for serving in the Crusade? That moral code that drove her there, to support a Crusade against undeath, the demonic, and all else evil that threatens Azeroth? In part, still there - and why shouldn't she use her demonic powers to help take down the true evils? She gets to scratch the demonic itch for violence and death...in doing good. And you know, it tickles the darker parts of her mind that say she needs to keep a finger on the pulse of the Crusade...just in case they change their minds about her. (There's a sick sort of pleasure in 'serving' the Light that abandoned her, as the very sort of thing the Light can destroy, as well, if we're being honest.)

I feel like most of my characters' alignments/moral codes boil down to 'I make my own morals', these days - very CN. She does bad things, sure - like piracy. But then, she turns around and uses those funds to funnel money into her estate...into the people of her estate, that is. She's a noble, after all, and used to catch shit for not being a very good one - never great at being a 'lady'... she still couldn't shake the fact that she wasn't the only one who lost everything, and those vassals who live on her land depend on her, as well. And if she can't support them in the traditional means...well, she can sure rob someone else who clearly doesn't need those funds quite as much. Now, don't go coloring her with Robin Hood colors just yet... though she does like green - because she... doesn't tend to leave survivors, when she does run a ship down. It's better if there's no survivors, but now and then one last living soul to tell the tale of the 'Dread Pirate' tickles her fancy. At the end of the day, she's got to sate some demonic needs...and better these strangers, than anyone back in Quel'thalas that'll draw attention.

One of her longest standing passions is for the archaeological - specifically, ancient Elven culture. She worked for Atlas Treasure Salvage for a long while and learned just how interesting history can be...as well as some pirating tips. With the uncovering of the Nightborne, it almost felt like a slap in the face to someone who's been globe-trotting with her draconic best friend to explore old Elven ruins and put down restless spirits and collect old artifacts and just wonder - and now, here are these elves who are relics of a bygone era, themselves? Beware if you're Shal'dorei, she has a lot of curiosity to sate.

Spirituality/faith...well, she began as a Paladin! Her faith was in the Light...and those around her, more than it was truly in herself (friendship is magic and all). Losing that support network at the same time that a demon was assaulting her mentally? Well, hilariously, if you've seen the new season of Stranger Things? (Slightly spoilery,) but imagine if Max's friends all said 'nah, you've gotten yourself into too much trouble before, we're not helping this time' and left her to the big bad, instead of standing up and proving the power of friendship? Lily's friends abandoned her, and so did the Light, in turn. She has, since... had a very complex approach to that prior faith. Part of her longs for it, aches for the warmth of it - and the parts of her that feel betrayed, and are now demonic because of the Light's abandonment? Hate it. Want to consume pretty much every Light-Wielder she sees. So there's this almost lust/loathing dynamic towards the Light, these days - she's never had much faith in anything else. She puts faith in herself, now, however...because you can't count on anyone or anything else, at the end of the day. (Once upon a time, she only wanted to be a ranger. And to be honest, since her paladin version still exists...I've debated bringing an AU version of her back from the Shadowlands, and having...2 different Lilys? I'm waffling on it a lot, but that one would have a slightly different backstory and a wildly different personality because of it.)

She does, at the end of the day, care more about people and the planet than she'll let on...especially these days. She was once too soft, and unable to be herself for the desire to please those around her. These days? Less so. People have let her down again, and again, and again - she's been abused, abandoned, and was never quite enough to be anyone's priority...so these days, it'll take some work to be a priority to her. But! She was building an estate in the Eastern Plaguelands, the better to be closer to A) Humans, and B) Light's Hope. She paid - and still pays - druids and shaman to rehabilitate the land on her new estate and continue to upkeep it year-round...in whatever form they want, if they don't want gold for it. But she wants to see this land healed as much as anyone in the Earthen Ring, or Cenarion Circle - she's never forgiven orcs for burning her home, nor Arthas for further desecrating it, and this land is no different. She remembers it lush, and fertile and full of life...and if she can contribute to making that all come back - why wouldn't she? People are what hurt - not the earth. Not the animals. Not the plants. People desecrated those, just like they desecrated her...and there's no healing her body. But maybe she can be a drop in the bucket, and be of some help in mending Azeroth's wounds. tl;dr the Estate has long since been built in my years away, and she keeps druids/shaman on staff to work on her lands...and realistically, asks them to expand beyond her own borders at their own pace, for an additional fee.

Her loyalties are to herself, and her family. For now. She has no friends, and I've yet to RP again...so to earn that loyalty? I feel like it'll end up being much like it is with Jak in XIV - prove it. Stick around, even when it's tough. Don't be judgy about who she has had to become to survive. Some 'found family' once taught her a phrase about loyalty, then followed that up by abandoning her in the hour in which she most needed even just one friend. While repeatedly saving each other - she took the hint, and these days she'll probably laugh in your face if you try some 'healing power of friendship' with her - the naive girl she once was believed in such flights of fancy, but not the demonic woman she has become. I once said 'good luck' in regards to getting close to Jak, but then one person managed to break through to her, so it's a non 0 chance that Lily can be reached beneath all the jaded exterior. Assuming people try, that is - she's happy not to have her soft parts looked at, however, and further slide down the CN scale into something darker - the future is mutable...anything is possible.
