Ya Girl Went to the Emmys

I had a fun time, it was nice to meet cool people and shake their hands and serve a mother slay, etc - AND it was very cool that my cousin Will won for Slow Horses, so proud - BUT

as fun as it was, I know when the chips are down none of the people I met last night (except Dave) are gonna be there for me. They don't know me, even the ones who recognised me and said they follow my work, and that's okay! The people who are really gonna be there for me are my audience. Some of you have been watching since the bookshelf days and even earlier. Now I'm on the red carpet at the Emmys and that's cool, but I know who put me here. You. Especially you, tumblr fanbase. (Best fanbase.)

So here's to many more glitzy events and slay fits, but I hope I always remember where I started and who got me where I am today

After much consideration, it has become apparent that the original image is slightly outdated due to the discovery of a new species and advancements in technology to research cellular life. Therefore, we have determined this new species, the space niche, is an offshoot of the transitional and aquatic niches. It is suspected this is due to the similar facial structure and anatomy of the aquatic niche, as well as the adaptation to combat shown in the evolution from the transitional forme to the underground niche, as well as the agility and dexterity capabilities shown in the former. As for the shared ancestor, shared similarities have been found between it and it’s offshoots, as well as having the capability of life that can adapt to new environments.

Lynn Conway passed away this weekend. She was an electrical engineer whose professional work was instrumental in enabling virtually all modern semiconductor devices. She was fired from IBM, and lost her family for transitioning, and later came out and became an outspoken transgender activist.

Rest Easy, Lynn, the world is less for your absence.

thinking about when I was in college and on Grindr, being a good little cumdump to anyone who asked.
