OBSERVATIONS:

Notice how subtleness of the changing shades of the Moon as it progresses from Earth's umbra to penumbra and emerges out of the shadow of the Earth.

Moon was seen in the sky when it was quite high up and not near the horizon. It was red & the upper right edge of the Moon showed the Earth's umbra!

After some time, when the eclipse progressed to penumbral lunar eclipse, the Full moon turned yellow. Now though we sometimes see the yellow colored moon, but we always see it near the horizon and not high up in the sky.

When the eclipse ended, the Full Moon, also known as Beaver Moon in November was its usual white!

partially eclipsed Moon rise: 6:01 pm in the East, with only 14% obscuration.

The phenomenon will begin at 06:01 pm and end at 07:26 pm, lasting for 1 hour and 25 minutes.

From 6:01 to 6:24 pm - Moon is in umbra.

From 6:24 pm to 7:26 - Moon is in penumbra.

From 7:26 pm onwards - eclipse has ended.

This is a rare event - watching eclipse with my school classmate! :D
