Orchids in ice? Flowers from a paph and a species phal were dying anyway so I encased them in ice to hang outside.

(This is a fanwork for @whirld-of-color's Wishing Well AU)
The dining table was small. Circular. Never needed to be any bigger.
Kitchen. Dining room. Living room.
Orchid stood in front of the sink, gazing out of the kitchen window at her grave at the flowers still surviving in the garden. They'd all be gone, soon. Winter would be here in a few weeks, she could feel it.
Roses. Day-Lilies. Daises.
The kettle whistled. Orchid turned from the window, picking it up and pouring boiling water into the pre-prepared mugs.
Coffee for him. Tea for her. Hot Chocolate for
Orchid winced. The steam was hot and she hadn't realized it was hitting her hand for a moment too long. Ignoring the pain, she carefully sets the kettle back down before checking on her hand. The skin was blackened, rotten, peeling a little bit red. It didn't feel burned, but she wasn't taking any chances.
She fetched one of the cold packs she kept in the freezer (six of them, two each, just in case) and placed it over her hand. Then Orchid returned to the drinks on the counter, mulling over how she was going to move them to the table with a hand temporarily out of commission.
Three mugs. Three drinks.
The solution was simple. Orchid held the cold pack to her chest using the burned hand, elegantly keeping the cold pack pressed to the mild injury and freeing up her left hand to move the drinks. So, that's just what she did: Picked up the mugs and set them around the table.
Three seats.
She straightened, chuckling to herself. The others were still asleep, hmm? They slept in late this morning.
"----!" "------!" Orchid called into the house.
Orchid stood there, waiting for them, for three minutes.
She stood next to a table seated for three, three steaming mugs circled around a vase of three flowers in a house with three main rooms and three different drinks sat, waiting for their three consumers, for three minutes three mugs three people three three three
There is one person in this house.
They had just opened the front door, full of apprehension, looking for their dead mother.
"Oh, Purple. I thought you would never come to breakfast."
Orchid smiled.

Title: Orchid Flower #002
Orchid flowers,
No matter how many petals it represents,
She shines brilliantly in white softly
For lightening up its surrounding as always.

I made these three Pokémon based on a flower called the bee orchid: it’s this really cool flower that attracts male bees to it by imitating a female bee, causing the drone to try and mate with it, covering it in pollen during the process. It just screamed pokemon to me, so here they are! The one on the left is a grass and poison type, and it’s two possible evolutions on the right are grass/flying for the top right and poison/dragon for the bottom right. Those typings might change, and the designs as well. Honestly I’m not sure if I’ll include these in my new region or not, but they’re still cool. The idea is that they imitate bug types. Tada!
