[image ID: upper half is angled view of solar system with a dragon design over-lay on top. lower right is top-down view of the same solar system. lower left is the color-coded guide of 20 planets, 4 suns, and characters new home planets.]
Reminder that I was inspired by @solar-tl-27 dragon universe concept, but mine is circular and their's is more branched, (? words are hard). Pink text is canon elements changed to planets, green is things I've made up completely, the color of the underlines is what revamped school they go to.

Deimix,
"The opposite transformation to Believix" I said opposite but its their own form, nothing like dark/sirenix, dis/enchantix
Deimix is achieved when you make are surrounded by people afraid of fairies/witches and you consciously decide to use those emotions to your advantage. The more fear, the more people around you, the more power. It strengthens mental magic, subconscious, emotion and illusion magic.
This transformation has its origin in the Three Ancestral Witches and the War, although it is known of people who have obtained it and managed to use it for therapeutic purposes or who have even learned to use their own fears as a source of energy, which is what keeps it in limbo from entering "forbidden transformation".
As the current form of the Ancestral Witches, they are as powerful as the plot demands (like the rings of the yellow lantern in DC Comics). Daphne, as a Nymph may or no may have adquired this form (Actually, achieved it, but only use it in war times)
In witches, the eyes become a solid color, the makeup so thick and magical that it seems to float around the witches' faces. This form usually dyes their extremities the color of the witch's magic and they wears long, more or less ceremonial clothes, somewhat torn.
The fairies are covered in long garments, extraordinarily bleached by time, some color still resists in them. Most wear masks to conceal embellished features to what some consider inhumanity (eyes also one solid color). Her hands and feet are slender and delicate, reminding you of tree branches.
So, yes its basically "Daphne and the 3 Witches were in the same transformation"

Magic Rambling
So I’m back talking about my Winx Club au Dragon’s Flame and Tempest’s flare again. Inspiration hit again after re reading through @dragonflyxparodies‘s A Fable, Agreed Upon series linked here: https://archiveofourown.org/series/2165049. @drops-of-moonlights Winx Redux AU @emsartwork Winxems and retreading the fic Feel Like a Fraud by @dorkwingdad link here:https://archiveofourown.org/works/29289360/chapters/71924991. Please check their works out they are seriously amazing, they deserve your support. (I hope you guys don’t mind the pings) This is a long post and is practically an essay I’m warning y’all now.
Types of Casters
So all people who can wield magic in any capability is known as a Caster, even if the only thing a person can really do with their magic is levitate small objects they are still a Caster. A more advanced Caster will eventually be categorized into either Witch, Fairy, or Wizard, ones gender or Homeward has a small influence of what category they will become but it is not cut and dry. For example Wizard is a masculine coded word Wizards can be Female or Feminine presenting.
The distinction between Wizard, Witch and Fairy depends on how the Caster uses magic to perform spells whether they draw on the ambient magic around them or draw from their internal magic reserve. Witches and Fairies tend to draw on their internal magic reserves while Wizards draw from the ambient magic around them.
Fairies and Witches can use any type of spell any where they want while Wizards are limited by the ambient magical energy they have available at their current location. A Wizard is going to be shit out of luck trying to use a Fire spell in a tundra or underwater. A Wizard can use other spells than whats available near them if they have enough but wizards on average have smaller internal magic reserves than Fairies or Witches, which is why Wizards draw on their environment. This also means that Wizards are most effective in Magic rich areas where there is a lot of ambient Magic they can utilize. Witches and Fairies draw from their internal magic reserves a majority of the time with the main difference between the two is the pull to get that magic working in the first place.
The main big deciding factors are Intent, Choice, Temperament, and Emotion. Intent is simple, what is the magic being used for? The Intent helps shape the magic if the same spell is performed with different intents the spell is going to have slight but noticeable differences. A ball of magic thrown with the intent to hurt an opponent is going to be more condensed, making it harder to dispel before contact and when it makes contact is going to hit with a harder impact due to the magic energy being confined to a smaller area. A ball of magic thrown to knock a projectile off course, to push an ally or civilian out of harms way, or to simply bind an object in place is going to be looser in form being larger on average wrapping around the target to knock it off course spreading the impact over a larger area so less damage is done on impact.
The Intent of a Caster and what they do with their magic is one of the biggest factors on whether they are classified as a Witch or Fairy. This main Intent being a big core of who they are as a person.. Do they wish to use their power to protect or to harm? A Witch working as a doctor could have the intent of hurting and destroying harmful bacteria, viruses, and parasites. A Guardian Fairy could have the intent of protecting their planet and home from whatever threat shows up with no regards for the consequences of their actions as long as those consequences have no bearing on their home. Casters with main intents based around hurting or destroying have a higher chance of being Witches while Casters with Intents based around protecting or healing have a higher chance of being Fairies. Intents that doing fall into the above category tend. to be more of a case to case basis on whether or not the Caster is a Witch or Fairy.
Some spells of both Witch magic and Fairy magic have certain emotional triggers that are required to cast that spell successfully, a Caster’s temperament kind of decides what emotional triggers are easiest for them to use. A caster who is a ray of sunshine will find positive triggers easier, while an Oscar the grouch will find negative triggers easier.
Choice is the most important factor since it trumps all the other factors, since Casters fit into the categories or Witch, Fairy or Wizard each of those terms being essentially a label or title for what type of magic a Caster is the most adept in. Given the right circumstances any type of Caster can perform any type of magic. It's this active voice on each individual Caster’s part why schools like Cloud Tower, and Alfea exist, so young casters who are learning magic have an environment where they can learn the magic they want to learn and have adults who are there to teach them. Some Casters are homeschooled having access to a community that will teach them the magic they want to learn.
Homeworlds
Homeworlds are planets that when the Great Dragon was creating everything there was enough Magic contained in the matter that would form planets that those planets formed a “soul” of their own. Some planets did not form souls but were still able to support life Earth and Domino are examples. Once sentient life started using magic it created a feedback loop with the homeworld, the types of magic the people prefer slowly affected the homeward and the type of magic its ‘soul’ is aligned with affecting its plants and animals and the cultures of its people which affects what types of magic they prefer leading to a self perpetuating cycle that lead to the Homeworlds we see today.
Domino does not have a soul but it does have the Great Dragon, who gave the sentient people of Domino its blessing in the form of its Creation and Fire magic. The Great Dragon is aware of everything but chooses not to influence the world of mortals. It gives and takes away its power as it sees fit, The Domino royal family had the Dragons favor and had a much larger blessing compared to their countrymen. So when the Ancestral Witches attacked Domino it personally made sure those three suffered for their arrogance and greed. The witches are responsible for Domino being forgotten as an unfortunate side affect of their attack on Domino the Dark Magic locked away many memories of those who were not directly involved any records that were based in magic about Domino were destroyed leaving most physical records of it the only ones remaining being old books which were no longer a main source of information, while people who were directly involved had some of their memories altered which when compounded with the issue with the records made Domino’s fall seem a lot older then it actually was.
Earth never had anything like that most of its magic is ambient magic from immigrant Casters and magical creatures. Earth does not have a soul in the present day but possibly several millennia in the future could gain one.
Types of Magic
Magic comes in different elements some are simple like wind, fire, light, water, or electricity while some are more complex and atypical, illusion, sound, gravity, null, metal. The categories of Fairy, Wizard and Witch serving as an alignment chart. A caster or magical creature having a magical core of just 1 element is incredibly rare.

@emsartwork here she is!! Sorry she's not colored 😅 I don't have my pens with me at the moment but largely she's got the same color palette as her fairy version, just value shifted to be darker and with more earth tones (Last Witch On Earth, add in some brown and blue and a more natural green, etc etc).
The more I think about it, I really think Roxy should have been a witch? It would have suited her personality and general aesthetic, and it also would have allowed her to stay independent from the Winx and be on like, a more level playing field with them (I hated when she went from all sarcastic to "Oh Winx you're so amazing I wanna be like you!!!"). It also would have made her more of a direct foil to Bloom instead of a more passive copy.
Her Witch costume has the Druid stuff you mentioned (Tunic vest, staff) and the shapes of it are supposed to mimic her faery uniform? That would probably come across better if I color it, though.
Anyway I hope you like it!

So do the worlds have like magic sources that influence a Magi’s source magic or is it based on heritage?
So Magi isn’t a term my AU uses, you’re likely thinking of @drops-of-moonlights ‘s winx redux, or @rowletlittenpopplioteam ‘s pending winx rewrite, or… was there someone else who was using the term? I feel like there was.
Ahhh! I’m so sorry if I’ve forgotten you!
But in terms of the rest of the question:
(It has cropped up in a few of my other posts, but I guess it’s always been background information by comparison to the rest of the posts?)
As I’ve mentioned in my various posts about the Worlds, they possess their own Thematic Magic, as part of their purpose in the Magical Dimension, and that Thematic Magic informs the types of Magics that people of that world are likely to be born with. IE:
Solaria is the Realm of the Sun, but its Thematic reach includes Celestial Bodies, and Light, as well as a few things related to those. Fairies* and Witches* born there have a high likelihood of having Thematic Magic of a similar alignment, be it the sun and moon, or a form of light.
But the “environmental factor” isn’t the only one.
Like with normal environmental adaptations, the inhabitants of the Worlds adapt to both the environment and the Thematic Magics of them.
When people immigrate to other worlds, their children will often exhibit mixed Themes, which is to say, a blending of the Thematic Magics of their environment and heritage.
For instance: (canon character) Nova of Solaria is the Fairy of Firelight, (within the Alt Con) this is a blend of her Solarian and Dominion heritage.
-
*a reminder that in the Alt Con Witch and Fairy are defined as those with Thematic magic Sources, and are divided by whether or not they manifest wings during transformations, while wizards are magicals who possess non-Thematic Magic.
(Sorry if you all remembered that, but it is a question I’ve been asked (and answered) a couple of times.)

reposted from deleted blog under same name.
So I wanted to expand the magical schools since in canon it kinda doesn't make sense, so I divided people into two categories of non-magic and magic, then each divided in two again, magically resistance and magically susceptible for non-magical; positive or negative for magical.
At first, I think they would be gender-locked but in more modern days the schools wouldn't be, just pass some type of admission exam.
Tumblr media
[image ID: eight mini-collages of schools; left side is the four magical schools: Alfea, Zaltora, Deeplake, Cloudtower. right side is the four non-magical schools: Malacoy, Oskuria, Red Fountain, Green Scales. Small notes like the title of students, assigned color, small design ideas and now changed students.]
Alfea, Cloudtower, Red Fountain, Malacoy are canon names. Deeplake's name is based on Cloudtower. Oskuria's name is based on Alfea. Zaltora's name is based on Malacoy. Green Scales' name is based on Red Fountain.
Alfea and Zaltora are positive magic users. Deeplake and Cloudtower are negative magic users. Malacoy and Oskuria are magically susceptible, focuses on non-magical calamities. Red Fountain and Green Scales are magically resisted, focused on magical calamities.
Tumblr media
[image ID: same eight mini-collages by now with rough uniform designs drawn over. magic user uniforms have undershirts and button-up vests/dresses. non-magic user uniforms are skin-tight spandex with differing lengths of sleeves and padding.]
Beta uniforms! just to get a rough design down.

Things I want -and will not have - for the new season of Winx
-add yourself-
Remake, redux NO ADAPTATION OR BASED OR INSPIRED IN OR LIKE THAT ¬¬
Consistency in the explanations of the transformations. And that they are not just "half the group does something and everyone wins it" (no fair dude)
Clear timeline with Domino and the Company of Light. Also with the school.
Make specialists... special. Somehow put them on the level of people who have to deal with magical threats on a routine basis.
No bad witches and good fairies.
Give costumes to minor witches!
BOYS IN ALFEA AND CLOUD TOWER, GIRLS IN FONTERROSA.
Use resources from the comics!!!!
More emphasis on cultural differences.
Character development, don't back down, don't stagnate.
Leave the scepter to Stella. And give her more moon theme
Get Roxy started with the Magic Winx
The companions (pixies, selkies, etc), or more or less but nothing so much bonding or noses.
Make the sirenix a mermaid tail, plz
Leave the cool bedrooms please please please ...

Story Info:
Hi! so i know ive randomly been posting tid bits and designs for my story and i need to work on my organization but ill be breaking my lore, plot and etc into parts in a similar way to @drops-of-moonlights with his winx redux au. now as for my story i will be giving a sort of disclaimer as to things that take place within my story.
my story is heavily inspired by shows such as winx club, ninjago and w.i.t.c.h. and even works on similar rules in comparison to winx which i will go into further detail later. ive been working on this since i was little so if things seem a little so similar do feel free to tell me as im trying to take inspiration with out straight up ripping off any plot lines or major details.
just be aware one of the major factors of my story is magic and in a similar manner to winx club the magic system does involves different transformations that boost magic or adjust it to work better for certain ecosystems.
But all i really wanted you guys to know is the shows i draw inspo from for this story and that more info on my story is coming soon, including the tittle so i don't have to keep calling it the "Story" lol.

cursed shit i’ve said to the Official Starkid Amino groupchat + more
“more” referring to a stupid au/hypothetical circumstance
ted and atty goldstein had a bet on who would sleep with all of hatchetfield first
atty goldstein wins for obvious reasons
ted begging paul and emma to help him on this bet to the point of serenading them voluntarily
mr. davidson went to toyzone for the wrong reasons
technically junior’s full name is Doctor Spaceclaw Jr.
“orgies happen a lot in drowsy town,”me, absentmindedly typing
in trying to explain how wiley just is in there
not sure if cursed but i proposed an AU where Curt Mega (the character) was the bad guy rogue being chased by lavender team-up Owen Cavour and Tatiana Shlozno–Tati has to keep Owen from fallling in love with the american menace
basically i got curious over the intense distinguished energy that would be emitted if we saw owen and tati working together
yes owen’s still gay why would i erase that--aspec tati because it’s my AU
not mine but dicksonas
come think of it, if mamd came out more recently, i bet the concept would’ve existed
my concerns towards the implications of man in a hurry’s insistence that wiggly is his “little boyfriend”
not cursed but a full convo concerning atty goldstein led me to making a rival lawyer oc from clivesdale; lesbian, extra as fuck, noble mcnamara-esque-vibes, really hates gary’s tendency to help the worst of hatchetfield
hypothetically played by either meredith stepien or mary kate wiles should we get her into a starkid musical (she was in movies, musicals, and me sooo)
proposing uncle wiley being puppeted by wiggly’s tentacles
here’s shit about a hypothetical, never-gonna-exist winx club parody musical—jinxed or something
me to the friend who said dicksonas: starkid winx club musical parody
because she had been telling me about her ideas for a winx club redux
and her significantly gayer, suit-donning diaspro reminded me of lauren lopez’s extra af characters
we did fancasting
in which jamie lyn betty, britney coleman, and mariah rose faith were agreed upon as the trix, icy, stormy, and darcy respectively
wondered if mary kate wiles or kim whalen would fit bloom more; she concluded with kim but i stand by mary kate as a hypothetical bloom
the wizards of the black circle are a bunch of soft dudebros who smoke a lot; we both agreed jeff blim would be the perfect orgon, hair and all
as i described it, “a smoke club consisting of keith swansons”
agreed that angela would be roxy, rachel as musa, and meredith as tecna
robert manion was somehow playing all the specialists
she deadass kept fancasting joey in all the other male villain roles and honestly mood
of all of them, joey richter as tritannus stuck to me because 1) merman joey sounds kinda hot 2) joey-jamie character dynamic 3) brooding, extra, edgy villain joey is something i would kill to see
“believix is instead fueled by how many people the winx get to worship them—like another cult scenario” me to her, while brainstorming further for this dumb hypothetical set of circumstances
she said some crack ships, but i outright forgot what they were oops

Cecilia is ready to beat up shit and Bloom is not having it
Or, in other words, a one-shot set somewhere in the second year of the Winx Redux AU by user @drops-of-moonlights  Happy birthday, Drops! Have this little piece! I ran out of time to get it proof-read by someone, so I apologize for any errors that might be there. (Rated G, 1.7k words)
Despite living for a year around magic, there were somethings Bloom never found herself fully digesting. Like how apparently the natural appearance of her eyes was actually included slit pupils and not round ones like she had known for eighteen years. And that she had a sister who used to talk from a mirror via dreams. That took some time to adjust to (at least now they could meet face to face whenever they wanted).
Yet the biggest thing Bloom found herself questioning was her roommate’s plant: Cecilia.
It made sense for the fairy of greenery to have plants. What didn’t make sense is how the plants seemed to die every other Tuesday. And what made the least sense was the one surviving plant could talk and move her leaves like arms and blackmail her caretaker (Bloom swears that she saw Cecilia blackmailing Flora at least once).
It just so happened that Bloom’s disbelief made it very awkward to be alone in a room with Cecilia.
Bloom was busy in her sketchbook, doodling out random drawings. She had begun to include a rabbit hole thought, drawing what she thought her childhood friends Mitzi and Selina would look like as fairies. Yet the plant was making this simple task five thousand times harder.
“That top is horrendous,” Cecilia said, grabbing onto the sketchbook. She had waddled her way over to Bloom’s bed, leaving behind a small trail of dirt. “Do something different.”
“I think it looks fine,” Bloom yanked her sketchbook away from the plant. “So I’m not changing it.”
“If you’re fine with trash, then I suppose you can keep it,” Cecilia said. She then began to look at her flowers as if she were judging a manicure. Bloom let out an annoyed sigh. She turned back to the paper in front of her and continued her project.
Barely a minute passed before Cecilia spoke again. “Man, she’s ugly,” the flower pointed to the drawing of Selina. “And she’s barely any better,” the flower pointed to Mitzi.
Oh, that was it. This plant did NOT just insult Bloom’s friends. No one, absolutely NO ONE was allowed to insult any of Bloom’s friends, and certainly not an overgrown weed.
Bloom dropped the sketchbook on her bed, “You know what?” She began, “I’m getting sick of you.”
“Funny, because I’ve been sick of you for a long time,” Cecilia spat, “maybe you should leave for both our sakes.”
“Thanks, but I’ll pass,” Bloom said. Before any more words could be thrown, Tecna opened the door to the room.
“Could you keep it down?” She asked. “Stella asked for my help studying, and it’s hard to help her when it sounds like you two are about to enter an argument.”
“I’m sorry, Tecna,” Bloom earnestly said. Cecilia frantically nodded, likely in fear of Tecna unleashing her knife roombas again.
Tecna closed the door again and Bloom turned to Cecilia. All Tecna had asked of them was to keep it down. That simply meant that she didn’t want to hear any noise. Technically that meant Bloom could take this knock-off Audrey the second somewhere out of Tecna’s range and all would be well.
And that’s exactly what she did.
•••
Bloom lost count of how long she had Cecilia had been duking it out behind the school. Despite her simple appearance, Cecilia was strong. Like, real strong. So strong Bloom couldn’t help but wonder where this machine of destruction was when the Trix were attacking the school last year.
The two were about to start round six when a familiar voice rang out.
“Bloom? Cecilia? I saw the note and– what are you two doing?”
Flora had found them (along with the small crowd that had gathered) and was just staring at the sight in front of her. Musa was by her side, a huge grin on her face.
“You two formed a fight club and didn’t tell me?” Musa said.
“We didn’t,” Bloom said, “and even if we did, it only started, like, and hour ago.”
“Yo!” An upperclassman by the name Yvonne raised her hand above the crowd. “Are we allowed to get in the fight?!”
Musa looked at Yvonne then back at Bloom. “Have you been charging tickets?”
“No?” Bloom asked, absolutely puzzled.
“You’re missing out on a goldmine!” She said before turning to the crowd. “Listen up! The free trial has ended! If you wanna see the fight, it’s gonna cost a dollar! If you wanna fight Cecilia herself, it’s five dollars!”
What Bloom expected was for people to complain and start leaving. What she was not expecting was for people to raise up their wallets and move to be the next person to fight the crazed flower.
Musa took the cash and settled at the edge of the crowd. “Alright! Welcome fairies of all ages! Welcome to the Cecilia smackdown! I’m your host, Musa Lu! In one ring, we have Bloom “Nina” Peters! And in the other ring, we have Cecilia the Florialinguis! Will Bloom finally be able to defeat her nemesis? Or will Cecilia rise up on top again? Let’s see! Also, I’m gonna need someone to text Aisha and get her down here! She won't wanna miss this! Now, one, two, three, go!”
Well, this was unexpected.
•••
Bloom was watching the current fight– another upperclassman, this one by the name Luan– along with the rest of the crowd. What had started as a simple stress reliever had turned into an event to put professional wrestling to shame. Over the course of several beatdowns from Cecilia, the Winx had collected a huge amount of cash and became even more famous. Who knew a bunch of students were so eager to fight a plant?
As Luan’s fight came to a close, the crowd became eerily silent, the only sounds present soft gasps. Bloom, along with everyone else, turned to see what could hush such an energetic crowd. It turns out the very thing that could hush such a crowd was a young underclassman who had dragged Griselda out.
“What’s going on?” Griselda asked, her glare alone freezing the entire crowd. “I was told students were being put in danger.”
Students looked at one another, no one wanting to speak. Bloom was one of them. The last thing she wanted was Griselda’s wrath. But she was the one who started the fight. Better she take the blame than everyone.
“Ms. Griselda?” Bloom said, her voice slightly shaking. She pushed her way through the crowd to the other side. “I was the one who started this. I had come out here to fight Flora’s plant, and then people started joining in. If you’re gonna punish anyone, punish me.”
Griselda looked directly into Bloom’s eyes. Seconds moved at the speed of minutes.
“Why would I punish you?” She said, her expression softening.
Wait what.
“Huh?” The underclassman said, utterly shocked.
“Why would I punish a fight like this?” Griselda continued, “From what I had heard, it sounded like reckless roughhousing, or worse, that troublemakers from another school had broken in. This?” She gestured over the crowd, ending on Cecilia. “This is the good kind of fighting! The kind that takes off stress and sharpens your skills!” Griselda made her way to Musa, the students in the crows parting like Griselda was Moses and they were the red sea.
“Miss Musa,” she began, “Are you the next to fight?”
“No, ma’am,” Musa replied, “I’ve been monitoring the fight.”
“Take five,” Griselda said, “I’ll run this round while you show us what you’re made of.”
Musa didn’t need to be told twice as she bolted over to where Luan was standing. The crowd began to relax again. Bloom made her way back to the front, excited to see what one of her friends could do.
•••
The fights finally ended when it was time for dinner. Students were bussing with conversations over the dining hall as many tales were recounted.
“What exactly happened?” Tecna asked.
“Oh, ya know,” Must said, “just the normal accidental formation of a school-wide fight club.” She took a large bite of her dinner.
“How?!” Tecna asked.
“Um,” Bloom began, “remember how Cecilia and I were arguing earlier?”
“Yes,”
“Well, she kinda hit a huge button and I couldn’t take it anymore.”
“So you decided to go outside and fight the plant?” Tecna asked, though it sounded more like a statement.
“Ding, ding, ding…” Bloom weakly raised up a fist. “We have a winner…”
“What did Cecilia do to make you so mad?” Flora asked.
“She kinda insulted my drawings,” Bloom sighed.
“Just that?” Stella asked.
“I was kinda drawing my friends from back home,” Bloom continued, “and Cecilia kept criticizing their appearance. I guess I kinda lost it.” She shoved a huge bite of food into her mouth, hoping that the rest of her friends would leave her alone.
“Aw, Bloom!” Stella said, “That’s so sweet!”
“Really?” Bloom said, mouth half full. Tecna looked at Bloom, causing the girl to blush out of embarrassment as she quickly swallowed her food.
“Stella’s right,” Tecna said, now smiling. “You couldn’t stand your friends being insulted, so you stood up for them. Even if your methods used were not the most conventional.”
“Who cares if they were conventional?” Aisha said, “I don’t know about you, but I feel pretty good knowing I’d have a friend willing to fight for me.” Her kind words made Bloom smile.
“Come on, Aisha,” Stella said, smiling, “I thought we already proved that to you with the whole Shadowhaunt thing.”
“I know,” Aisha said, “But there’s something different knowing you have a friend who’d go on a crazy rescue mission with you and knowing you have a friend who’d accidentally form a fight club while defending your name.” She held out her fist, and Bloom bumped it.
“I’m going to need to talk to Cecilia later,” Flora sighed, “none of this would have happened if she just knew to keep her nose out of other people’s business.”
“Please do,” Bloom said, “I do not need another accidental fight club forming.”
“The fight club is dead?” Musa asked. “Come on, you can’t kill the fight club when it’s so young!”
Bloom looked Musa in her eyes, which were watering up like a puppy dog’s.
“Okay,” Bloom said, “we can keep the fight club. Besides, it was kinda therapeutic to punch a plant.”
“Yes!” Musa cheered. “The official Alfea fight club is a go!”
