Listening to “The Killing Kind” by Mariana Trench and thinking about Celestial!Xiaotian and Yue’s dynamic.

When I said this fic is going to center around a “Enemies to Lovers” dynamic, I really do mean they start out as enemies. It won’t be some silly rivalry and banter. These two have deep history and beef that might even rival Canon Shadowpeach’s dynamic. These two are going to be at each other’s throats and are going to try their damn best to rip each other apart. And that’s not even touching on the past Xiaotian/YanYan debacle and the estranged relationship Yue has with Wukong that these two let influence their arguments. Guanyin had a genuine reason why she placed these two into an equivalent of a Get Along Shirt. It was just that bad.

This won’t be the sweet Yuetian we know. Not yet. They’re going to have to resolve a lot of issues, assumptions, and years of accumulated bitterness. A lot of apologies are going to need to be made (more apologies will be needed from one side than the other tbh. And groveling. So much groveling). But they’ll get there.

Also: nether knows the other is reincarnated. So that conversation is going to be fun 🙂

This AU, now named “Bitter Water,” is not going to pull any punches. Literally. And I can’t wait to write it.

Might potentially write a modern au fic where the Archeron sisters are WAGs. Would love to hear your thoughts or ideas on which sports their respective Bat Boys are in. Or maybe the Bat Boys are the supportive partners to the Archeron sisters as they dominate the sports industry. (Maybe I’ll go with a mix of both because I can totally see Rhys being a supportive cheerleader husband at every single one of Feyre’s competitions.)

Anyways, would love to hear some recommendations of sports you think would fit them!

weird things I've noticed about astrology from my own experiences

this is just my opinion as a person who studies astrology from time-to-time. I'm not a professional and even if I was these are observations not hard-core facts.

Leos suns may not end up famous but they might meet a famous person once in their life, and they tend to give off this vibe...? like it's a vibe that kind of says they'd do great with things like being a influencer or a public speaker....I don't know how to word it exactly but they can be really influential, and without knowing, too! And if they do know sometimes they actually don't care and decide to less flashy things but somehow when they do this stuff it becomes flashy. Not a trendsetter like I've noticed Aires suns to be but more like trailblazers who aren't doing it for anyone else.

Taurus suns are the really sensitive people of the zodiac but they're really sweet, too! Just a bit sensitive to words at times, but still they're pretty solid people. Also Leo suns get along pretty well with them in my opinion, though they do butt heads they can relate to each other most times.

A heavy Capricorn placement can mean you wear pretty reserved clothes but you have taste so it's actually more interesting than a very exposing outfit...this has been more common with people I've met who have their midheaven in Capricorn.

Your IC can point to what style you'd wear IDEALLY and your MC can show what you actually TEND to wear or pull off. So for me, with a Cancer IC, I really would like to wear alot of soft and kinda cottage core outfits, which give me cancer vibes.....but I end up wearing more hardcore/noticeable out fits that still are pretty formal, which I think is a Capricorn thing.

I've noticed that people tend to think like their ASC if that makes sense..? like, I tend to think impulsively and boldly which is like my Aires ASC. And I've noticed people tend to look more like their DSC...but this observation is still a WIP.

Part of fortune could show where you have a natural talent and also things that could interest you.

I read through most of my fic Something's Gotta Give from the beginning yesterday and was surprised to find that I enjoyed reading it and it was actually pretty good. (Yes, yes, I know we're not supposed to put our own writing down but well I have impossibly high standards for myself so it can't be helped.) However, I did feel dissatisfied with chapter 8. It was meant to accomplish something and I think it only kinda sorta did. I thought about it and I think I know how to make it better so I'm going to rewrite a large portion of it. But for a while now I've been wondering if I should rewrite most of the early chapters so I'm happy to find that I don't feel the need to do that anymore. (Like I have the time.) I have high hopes of having this fic done sooner rather than later. (About time.)
