Not feeling boxed in on all sides makes me feel more free and having space and time to breathe gives me the ability to go out and do things-- have energy to do it without constant low level stress of having to maneuver around other people and their expectations, their microgement of my movements and very small allotment of space

The morning after Peach came back, Minnie leapt the fence over to the neighbors, so she’s now monitored every second she’s out there. Of course on that same day, my building put up a literal ramp to get some window work done on the unit below me that she’s obsessed about, because God has jokes. I ended up giving her gabapentin this morning so she’d chill a little bit and not pace back and forth for hours out there, and while she threw most of it up, she’s a little calmer.

Six more days.
