I might juse be a little slow, but in your drabble about the yautja guy giving you the cloak pelt thingy, does he like you and in denial, or is he just grown a little fonder for us after we helped him?
This may be obvious but I'm slow 🐌
RAHHH IVE BEEN WAITING FOR AN ASK LIKE THIS!!
Don't worry, I'm still new to writing about intentions and stuff, and it doesn't always translate well in my writing. I'm more than happy to explain! I'm actually really happy that you want a more in-depth explanation.
So, T'ainkui, the yautja in said drabble, is just a tough nut to crack. I've seen a lot of people characterise him as "tsundere" which was not my intention, but hey, I can't police people on how to interpret my works.
I personally don't enjoy the term "tsundere" because I feel like it boxes in characters that should have more depth to them. And I definitely see T'ainkui as a character with a lot of conflicting feelings and depth to him.
He's a character that is very slow to warm up to others, especially those he deems as lesser. Weakness is not tolerated in yautja society, and he's on the more assertive side of that mentality. It's a mentality that's been beaten into him since birth.
Like I stated previously, he takes pride in being a traditional yautja.
He's very much conservative in his culture.
He believes that since you haven't proven yourself to be worthy yet, he thinks that you're a stain on his clan. So, when you do prove yourself, he finds himself intrigued by that. Not full-on attracted yet, but curious. However, those fleeting feelings of curiosity are quickly squashed down by his own pride and prejudice.
He is not in denial just yet. These are still the beginning stages of the slow burn relationship. Right now, he's only dismissing these more positive feelings because he's still getting to know the reader and he's already got a lot of bias stored up against their kind. That kind of generalised view doesn't vanish out of nowhere.
Which is something I will expand on when T'ainkui actually does start to develop feelings. This big boy has a lot of angst potential that I can and will exploit.
The reason he was mad that the human wasn't wearing his gift was because he put a lot of effort into it only for it to go underappreciated from his point of view. When the reality was that the planet was too hot for the human to wear a thick fur cloak until it started getting colder.
T'ainkui is in no way, shape, or form a reliable narrator. I don't typically write any of the characters to be reliable narrators because they don't know the full story. I do.
But you aren't slow for not understanding! I think about five steps ahead and forget to write those steps down lmao. If anything, I encourage more questions like these! Please let me yap more about my oc lore.

In fact I think they killed her off just because they thought she'd be too OP for both the finale and the subsequent season. But then without her, suddenly we're missing something HUGE, one of the BEST case scenarios, a confrontation between the last of the Oni Warlords, taking on a faux Warlord, a usurper, one who doesn't DESERVE the title he took on! And that really sucks. The Oni had potential, the writer squandered that potential.
It actually really sucks that they actually did just kill off Mystake as soon as she was done being plot relevant/the exposition character like really? Really??? And then you NEVER acknowledge her past season 9 aside from rebuilding her tea shop for whatever reason in season 10, and completely undermine her very existence with Lloyd's basic, very stupid "all oni are evil" rhetoric.
#I say writer singular because it was all one dude TOT#he wrote all of season 10#which isnt much bc its literally 4 episodes#but man can you just FEEL that it was clearly written with just the intent to get from point a to point b as fast as possible#with no intent of explaining any of this lore#it shouldve been at least 6 episodes#no one counts the pilots#questing for quests is now the official 100th episode and for WHAT huh#and for what ???

Rings of Power Spoilers for Season 2 Episode 8. (Also, predictions based on book knowledge. Beware!)
So very much to talk about in this finale which I loved, but three takeaways for now:
What a testament to Charlie Vickers' performance all season that Sauron's tears after Celebrimbor's death feel so utterly layered and genuine and entirely grotesque. The immediate image that was conjured for me was a cat that's just killed the mouse they were playing with. That look you see in a cat when they touch the dead mouse with their paw a few times despondently because they're now genuinely upset and sore and sorry for themself because the mouse won't "play" with them anymore. The self deception of those tears, unwitnessed, and thus genuine, but also entirely unearned due to him being the sole arbiter of that death. Horrifying! (And Charlie revealed in his recent interview with Nerd of the Rings that he's fully aware that early draft Sauron was essentially a cat so we keep winning on this metaphor, haha)
2. The absolutely beautiful little moment we got with Theo and Isildur made me even more certain that Theo will grow up to be the king who betrays his oath and doesn't show up to fight against Sauron in the last alliance, leading to him being cursed by Isildur. And it's absolutely going to shatter my heart. Theo, the son of a healer and thus, as Aragorn will one day express, perfectly aligned with the role of a king. Theo whose father is unknown in a country looking for the king they were promised. Theo who is theoretically (no pun intended lol) not blessed with long life like the Numenoreans--which means Isildur would see him grow up and pass him in visual age and grow into his role. The deeply personal nature of a curse between old friends. I will not survive it if that is Theo's destiny. These are my sons.
3. I truly loved how well everything wove beautifully into the thematic threads of this story. I was deeply moved all episode. Except. . . okay, was anyone else really baffled by the imagery in the last moments? It was so clear that Galadriel's arc and the story as a whole was coming to a close on this idea of choosing to act as a shield (protect, defend, don't use your children as warriors to seek revenge, choose togetherness and healing, not singular acts, don't make war heedlessly, gather strength together). I mean, Galadriel has been fighting over giving up her sword (dagger) and all it represents for ages, and in that last moment in future Rivendell of all places, a place of healing and rest, with a battered collection of wounded veterans and refugees and non-combatants and children, Gil Galad raises his sword??? and the gathered elves also raise any weapons they have??? And they're making battle cries??? I . . . was . . . confused, lol. Was I interpreting this incorrectly? I mean, of course the free peoples of Middle Earth should fight back against a powerful enemy, no matter how small they are or how impossible the odds seem (i.e. Durin v. Balrog), but. . . . I felt like that was a little out of sync with every other piece of imagery and message that the elves were working through this season. . . This was their moment to realize the rings were not a weapon in their hands but a shield and instead it bordered on disturbing for me. . . that's how jarring that last shot felt. . It didn't ruin the episode for me or anything, but I was . . . ????
(I think Galadriel being a visual light for the elves works. I think Gil Galad and the gang drawing swords together to make a promise to defend the vulnerable would have worked, but this felt like a real mix of metaphors here. Maybe there was some debate on set about which way to go and they compromised on a mix of imagery. )
#trop spoilers#rop spoilers#trop#rings of power#My only other moments of “huh?” were Arondir's miraculous recovery which we are all confused was never explained#(my theory is they had Adar heal him but then they decided they wanted to save the “reveal” of Adar's pre-torture face for later)#(which is also my theory for why he had that weird CGI effect at the end of episode 7.)#And the other moment that jarred me was that--while Elrond's reaction to the lore burning was /completely/ in character#and I loved that scene#it made more noticeable the absence of any scene where he explicitly mourned elves#I think that lore burning scene was meant to be him wanting to defend what's left of Celebrimbor in addition to hating the destruction of#knowledge but they needed some indication of that if that were the intention (“more important than jewels or blood” indicates the work#supersedes even the value of Celebrimbor's life which is an accidental implication I believe

okay the one downside of making aus based on other media is that sometimes people dont know wtf youre talking about 😭 but this is ludwigs lore in the game,, does anyone see the vision of dream having a similar fate for this au..
#very simplified lore just to explain this so some people found some special blood in these ruins and it healing properties#the healing church was created and they could heal any illness with the blood#except it was also very addicting and turned people into beasts and the church didnt want people knowing#so they created an organization of hunters that would kill the beasts and try to keep it a secret#hunters can succumb to bloodlust and turn into beasts themselves#rlly simplified version bc the lore is quite scattered and a lot of it is theories and not necessarily stated in canon#also they had their own branches and shit that did different things#but anyways onto au dream if i based it more off of cdream id probably have remain a hunter instead of a beast#while if it was more ccdream id probably be more inclined to have him turn into a beast#sorry dream.... 😭#but again if based more off cdteam theyd have a split and csapnap would definitely think cdreams succumbed to the blood lust#and be intent on killing him yet again#ludwigs decapitated head stays after the fight and if you leave it another hunter will kill him#but augh ludwig having this more 'honorable' character but having his detractors and succumbing to a fate like this#also spinning the dialogue where he asks about the hunters he trained in my headdddd

As promised, here's a write-up of Kimzu Luhire's current backstory!
(To anyone well-versed in DND lore, constructive critisim is accepted! I'd love to learn more about the subject)
---
Kimzu was born in a low-ranking Drow family, her mother passed away after she was born, so her dad married into a noble house so they could survive.
The Matron of the house treated Kimzu more like a servant than a child. The Matron expected Kimzu to fend for herself, so most days she was alone.
Growing up, Kimzu became a bit of a recluse, mostly doing house work & learning about Drow culture & history through the books in her room. She never liked Lolth from what she read about, but she knew better than to go against her.
As the years went on, her father became more distant towards her, she was seen by most as a pathetic pushover, a bad example of what a Drow woman should be.
The year she became the equivelant of 12 years old, her life was threatened by accidently getting involved in a bad fight between her father & the Matron, accusing him & his daughter of treason against Lolth. The Matron threatening to put down her father, Kimzu tried to stop her but was badly wounded from getting between them. Knowing no one would help her, that she would die if she did nothing, Kimzu ran away. She decided she was was going to the surface and staying there, far away from Lolth's domain.
While navigating the Underdark, due to her own panicking & clumsiness, Kimzu tripped over herself & was spotted trying to escape the Underdark by a patrol of Drow soldiers, they must've been notified of her treason as they started chasing her immediately. Kimzu, trying to escape her pursuers & the dangers of the Underdark's wilderness, was further injured, but she could see moonlight in the distance, reaching the ends of the Upperdark, her pursuers lost her in the wilderness, never finding a body.
Kimzu was now in a strange forest of some sort, she kept running until her legs gave out. She was exhausted, not knowing what to do, but right at that moment, what looked like a small rabbit approached her, they told her that she could be saved, they asked if she wanted the power to protect herself, that she could if she joined them. Kimzu, not having much of a choice, refused to succumb to her wounds and, without being fully aware of it, formed a pact with an unknown Archfey Patron through who would become her lifelong companion. Kimzu felt rejuvenated, with her newfound power, she got back on her feet and started a new life, with her rabbit-like friend now named Oliver.
Now Kimzu has grown, she's the equivelant of 16 years old & wants to be a better & stronger person who could save lives like Oliver & her Patron did for her.
She has been taught many things by Oliver, such as how to forage for food & defend herself as a Warlock; she now resides in small remote caves near the surface, preparing for the day she can face Lolth, with Oliver by her side.
#my oc lore / writing#my oc stuff#Kimzu Luhire#Oliver Luhire#I wanted to leave some things up to interpretation for any possible campaigns to take advantage of#like the fate of Kimzu's father and if he was really commiting treason or not#or how he truly felt about Kim#hopefully that makes sense?#I think I'd be interesting if different campaigns explored different outcomes but I'm not a DM so who knows xD#also btw the whole “equivalent of” thing when it comes to Kimzu's age is becuase for the life of me I could NOT figure out how Elf / Drow#ages work :(#like I know they live for 100s of years but not any specifics#so for all intents and purposes#Kimzu is 16 years old in human terms#if anyone knows and can explain to me how that works please lmw!#also please lmw if I should put any content / trigger warnings in the tags!#dnd drow#dnd writing#dnd character#dungeons and dragons

Hi holyschnitzel!
A friend showed me the game's demo and I absolutely loved it, I got really obsessed with the character Damon. The game's background is really interesting, so I started following you to keep up with the lore and updates.
However, when I started looking into things, I was surprised that MC basically end up in a three-way relationship with DG and Damon, which isn't apparent in the game.
I don't really like this idea and wanted to ask if this will stay this way or if there will be individual routes where they haven't slept together before (like I see in posts about him taking her virginity) and have just been friends… I saw them as a family and it feels like incest.
I've found out that quite a lot of people think the same.
Thanks a lot for your time
Blastic is having trouble explaining this properly, so I'll take over :)
First of all, thank you for your interest in Broken Colors and for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate your enthusiasm for the game and especially for Damon's character <3 You seem to have some misunderstandings about the relationships in the game, so I'd like to clear that up for you!
Let me clarify that DG and Damon are absolutely not family or related in any way. They are explicitly established as friends (with benefits) who met as adults. There is no familial connection whatsoever between them, so your concern about "incest" doesn't apply to them. Just because you consider them family doesn't make it incestuous, this is not how it works, you naughty little thing you! ;P
Next, regarding Damon's personality and behavior: While Damon does have attachment issues and can be intensely possessive, his relationship with DG is unique and established before the events of the game. Their dynamic is special precisely because DG is the only person Damon trusts enough to consider sharing someone with. This is actually consistent with his character - he's not casually sleeping with multiple people; he has one deeply trusted connection (DG) that allows for this specific arrangement aka poly-relationship.
About the possible routes in the game:
There will be a route where MC ends up with DG.
A route where MC ends up with Damon.
And a poly-route option with both of them.
You're free to choose whichever route appeals to you most. If you prefer a one-on-one relationship with Damon, that route will be available to you. The poly route is simply an additional option for players who might be interested in that dynamic :)
Of course, we understand some players may have different preferences or interpretations, but Blastic wants to stay true to her characters and world she has created. Everything you have read are intentional aspects of the narrative and character development!
Well! I hope this clarifies things. Thanks again for your support and for engaging with the game so thoughtfully, eleipsis! ^o^
#br<3ken colors#br0ken colors#brokencolors#eleipsis ask#I hope everyone is well#I collapsed in the shower last week and bruised my leg#But I'm fine now#So don't you worry ^^ <3

genuine question, is misadventures smp gonna be part of any lore, or is it a one-off thingy? (i‘ve not watched the entire episode yet, so if it‘s explained in the episode feel free to ignore this :D)
I've no intentions to attach this to either of my 2 stories. This is its own thing.
It doesn't mean I can't develop lore self contained within this world though
I'd love to create enough dungeons or POIs that I could tell a cool story via a little Daggerheart campaign. I've been looking for an excuse to try that system and get in to ttrpg for ages

Hey there! I’ve been seeing your posts for a while and I wanted to ask for a suggestion, i know you mostly write smut, but what about nerd!König fluff?
Like a quick or long (whatever you want, nsfw or sfw) post on nerd!König non stop ranting to reader about his favorite things, it goes so far that every time reader comes over (they practically live together atp) they’re just dragged to the bedroom to get ranted to by nerd!könig.
If you haven’t already!!
(Can I be jelly fish anon)
-🪼
he’s literally ‘me and the bad bitch i pulled by being a loser’!! he loves info dumping to you, gets so consumed in it now that he has someone willing to listen. it amazes you how he always has something new to talk about, from the lore of his favorite video games to a documentary he watched on some niche war that wasn’t in any history books. sits you on his lap while he pours on animatedly for hours on end, barely giving you space to interject besides the various wow’s, though he loves when you ask him questions about it. he’ll fall in love if you nod along intently to everything he says, genuinely interested, but he’ll still continue to rant even when boredom glazes over your pretty eyes.
his fixation with whatever topics he’s explaining leads him to miss other cues from you. whether that be your stomach growling because he has talked for so long he forgot to order your food, or when you start getting in the mood for something else. giving him fuck me eyes won’t work when he’s knee deep in explaining the different kinds of assault rifles to you, won’t get the hint until you’re full on palming him through his pants. he’ll fuck you quickly and thoroughly before jumping right back into his monologue, after you express to him that learning about torture tactics that existed in the medieval ages during sex turns you off.

Do you have information about Ramshackle dorm itself? Whether it be a character's opinions on it, or any history/lore from Crowley along the way through the main story/events? I know we don't know a lot about the dorm itself (I think that's intentional, as to leave interpretation up to the player), but combing through the whole story for lore has been difficult for me. Thank you in advance for your efforts and time. :>
Hello hello! Thank you for this question! 🏚
You are very right that we do not seem to have very much information about Ramshackle Dorm!
For characters' opinions we know that Malleus is fond of it (he likes abandoned ruins in general (more here ->)), and Crowley is maybe more ambivalent? He has a dialogue line referring to it as a "dilapidated old--" and then self-corrects to say, "historic building."
Crowley explains that it did once serve as a dorm for the school, and as for why it was abandoned, the ghosts who live there say that everyone got scared of them and ran away, which Crowley confirms.
This is a curious explanation as ghosts are regular staff members at the school with none of the students seeming frightened of them--if anything, the chef ghosts are more afraid of Lilia than any of the students are of them.
While searching for information that may have been missed, I found this fascinating theory by YouTuber Alai Legend:
According to Crowley, he was entrusted with NRC by the chairman of the school, whose identity we do not know. There is also Ambrose the 63rd, the headmage of Royal Sword Academy.
But the theory asks, what if Ambrose’s NRC counterpart is not actually Crowley—what if it was the Twst-equivalent of Yen Sid, from Disney’s 1940 film, Fantasia?
The animated short revolves around a character performing janitor-adjacent tasks who literally dreams of becoming a great mage, which sounds very familiar.
We have a comment from Trey that the dorms were constructed in order of Pomefiore -> Heartslabyul -> Diasomnia, which corresponds to those movies' years of release, but no mention of Ramshackle.
As acknowledged in vol. 1 of the Official Fanbook, Ramshackle has taken a lot of inspiration from the 1936 Mickey Mouse animation “Thru the Mirror.”
Which, in Japan, was released as “The Story of Mickey’s Dream.”
And Snow White, the basis for Pomefiore, was released a year later in 1937.
The theory suggests that Ramshackle is thus older than any other dorm, additionally supported by how it was built alongside the school itself rather than being established in a pocket dimension like the rest, because the school may not have had enough students to require multiple dorms when it first started out.
But if Yen Sid is the founder of the school, wouldn't he have a statue or something? And was he not particularly villainous?
And why is Ramshackle not treated with more respect by Crowley, at least, who is presumably the one person who knows what it used to be?
To counter this the theory asks, what if NRC was not always a villain school? Perhaps it was founded as something else, but at some point there was maybe a shift of power from Yen Sid to someone who decided to go in a different direction.
Someone who really likes the Great Seven.
That could have included a renovation that removed things from its previous incarnation like references to Yen Sid, and abandoning Ramshackle as a relic of what the school once was.
We know that Azul looked through the past 100 years of exam questions in Book 3, the same amount of time that NRC’s student selection process has been in use, the same amount of time that NRC has been losing competitions to RSA, the same time that STYX was established…so exactly happened 100 years ago?
A ghost mentions being the captain of a spelldrive team back when he was still alive 90 years in the past, so at least one of Ramshackle's ghosts moved in after whatever that event was.
The theory proposes that 100 years ago is when the school shifted its focus to the powers of darkness, only admitting students with those particular traits and no longer accepting students who would have been sorted into Ramshackle Dorm.
Is it possible that the prefect is someone who would have been sorted into Ramshackle like the students of the past if the school had not shifted gears? Is the prefect actually where they are supposed to be, just 100 years too late?
Whatever it is that happened 100 years ago, whatever secret it is about Crowley that Azul may or may not hold—the video creator guesses that Ramshackle Dorm is the key!
We just do not know the key to what 🔑
(Azul says in Book 4 that he knows Crowley’s secret, but he was only pretending to be hypnotized at the time and may have been lying in order to say what he knew Jamil wanted to hear. During Halloween, however, Jade also asks, “Is there some reason (Crowley) wouldn’t want the police sniffing around? A secret he doesn’t want them to unearth, perhaps?”)

hiii hello vani<3 may i request smt angsty with dazai and reader in which he’s acting neglectful/unfaithful as a partner and you just deal with it? but you don’t hate him or anything you’re just really sad about it hehe tysm ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

₊ ⊹☁ pairing: dazai x gn!reader
₊ ⊹☁ genre: angst :,)
₊ ⊹☁ content warnings: distant/neglectful relationships; canon mentions of double suicide bc dazai lol...i couldn't bring myself to write a cheating dazai i'm sorry T~T inspired by ghostin + better off by ariana grande!
₊ ⊹☁ word count: 1.9k
You shivered under the cold sheets when your alarm had woken you up. The space next to you was empty, your lover nowhere to be found.
It had been like this for months now, but it was nothing new due to the nature of his job. Dazai always became distant right before handling a new enemy for the Armed Detective Agency. He only disclosed vague details to you, explaining that withdrawing himself was a way to protect you since he didn’t want enemies knowing about you. Before leaving, he’d muttered something about keeping you away from “the demon”.
But you had to admit, the feeling of being 'safe' from a far away, unknown enemy didn't compare to being wrapped in your lover's arms, the soft kisses on your forehead, gently running your hands through his brown fluffy hair, and whispering sweet nothings to eachother. You missed his corny jokes and the nights you two would have together after drinking too much sake, giggling on the floor and watching the stars on your open balcony—Dazai always pointing out the constellations and telling you the stories and lore behind each one.
He had been staying at a secret location far from your shared apartment, so the sheets didn’t smell like his musky, warm cologne anymore. The space felt ghostly now, and hanging out with your friends barely helped. Stirring a sugar cube and cream into your morning coffee, the things they said repeated in your head.
“Just break up with him..."
"You don’t deserve someone who ignores you—especially if he puts work above you…”
"He's definitely cheating on you with all the travel he's always away on..."
Your friends didn’t understand though. They didn’t understand the depth of your relationship or how Dazai loved you. He was a reserved man; he didn't let anyone into his heart, always putting on a flamboyant front to mask his true self. Even becoming his partner and finally moving in with him was a feat in itself and was something he'd hesitantly accepted. You knew he had a traumatic upbringing and that the ones he cared for eventually left his life, often in a tragic way; the last thing his broken heart could take was losing you.
Which was why you put up with the cold sheets in the morning, the single serving meals, and all the sad movie nights alone—because deep down, you knew he cared about you. Your lonely conscious couldn't handle any other explanation.
You tiredly shaped the triangular onigiri filled with snow crab and placed it in the wooden bento box, along with some tamagoyaki and salad, savoring the momentary heat in your hands. It was Dazai's favorite lunch—something you used to pack for him everyday. You forcibly dragged yourself out of bed to make it for him after receiving a text—from an unknown number, of course—that he was stopping by the apartment to grab something. You knew it was futile waking up early; it wouldn't stop him from leaving with no explanation, from not being targeted by the port mafia, the hunting dogs, or "the demon". How silly and lovesick you were.
Closing the lid, you put the dishes in the sink and placed a piece of bread into the toaster, staring intently as you waited for it to finish, which seemed like forever. You took a sip from your mug, cringing when the lukewarm liquid touched your tongue. Shit, your coffee had gone cold. That never happened when he was still there.
The lock clicking snapped you out of your somber thoughts, and you turned your head around to face the self-inviting visitor. Gaze softening, you admired the tall man in front of you, wrapped in a tan trench coat, which you instinctively slipped off from behind him, his tense shoulders relaxing under your fingertips as you draped the coat on a nearby chair. Wordlessly, you both exchanged melancholic glances before Dazai made the first move, stepping forward to close the space between you two. His slender fingers slowly came up to caress your face, the foreign touch making your cheeks heat up. Leaning forward, he closed his eyes and placed a soft kiss on your cold lips, "Hi, bella."
Forcing yourself to open your lids again and not overindulge in the much needed contact, you smiled at your lover, but it didn't quite connect back to your eyes, "Welcome hom—errr—back...You needed something from here, right?" You replied, choosing your words carefully so he couldn't hear your evident desperation.
Dazai blinked carefully, "Yeah, a flash drive. It's in one of the kitchen cabinets. Is it fine if I look around for a bit?" You nodded, looking down at the tiled floor and smiling at nothing. Dazai was always like that, hiding important things in the most impractical places as a precaution. As he fished through the cabinet, he turned his head briefly to look down at the abandoned mug sitting on the counter, "Is that for me?"
You wiped the nostalgic grin off your face, reaching for your coffee, which you'd made in Dazai's usual mug, "A-Ah, no. It's mine, sorry," Dazai raised an eyebrow at you, "I made it earlier this morning, but it's cold now. I'll make you some more." You offered, trying to brush off his suspicions and the strange looks he was giving you.
He sighed, stroking your hair lightly, "It's fine, darling, brew yourself a new cup, and I'll drink this one." He gave you one last reassuring pat before picking up the mug and slipping away into your shared room to look for something else, giving you no time to protest. What seemed like a sweet gesture really had a double meaning: I'm not staying long enough for a new batch of coffee, so I'll just take the cold cup.
A pit formed in your stomach as you dumped out the used coffee filter and reached for a new one. Your vision started to blur, stopping you before you could open the lid of the coffee grounds. Wet drops falling on the back of your hands made you realize you were crying. Instinctively, you brought your hands up to cover your mouth and block any sobs from Dazai, who was still next door in your bedroom.
Stop it.
You tried to coerce yourself, but you couldn't help it. The despair was too agonizing; to have the one you needed most close to you but not being able to tell them to stay, to hold you, especially since you knew how precious you were to him—if you asked, he'd drop everything to stay the night with you. Everyone at the ADA was aware of that, which was why they'd sat you down and conveyed that you couldn't dote too much on Dazai. You understood that and had stayed by his side anyways, knowing that being with him sometimes was better than never. Even if it broke your heart in the process. Even if it meant crying silently in the kitchen while your lover was in the next room, oblivious to the tears wetting your sleeves.
Deep down, you wished he would notice the pain you were in. You wished he would text and call you more or at least take you out to dinner and do special things when he'd finally come back, but he always resumed your daily routines almost like he'd never left. It made your heart ache, feeling like he disregarded his long leaves and their effects on you. You sniffled quietly and quickly wiped your tears away upon hearing rustling from the bedroom doorway signaling that Dazai was almost done grabbing what he needed.
Inhaling deeply, you breathed in and out slowly to calm your frantic heart and turned to the side to face the counter as your partner walked back into the kitchen.
"Found what you were looking for?" You asked, trying to cover your face with your hair and sneakily wipe away any residual tears.
Dazai swiftly passed by you, going towards the chair to slip his trench coat back on and grab the lunch you'd made him. "Yeah, I found it. Thanks for the bento and coffee by the wa—" Your eyes widened as he trailed off mid-sentence, all of a sudden feeling his presence next to you. He bent down to peer over at your face, evidently still swollen and a bit red from crying.
He rotated your body towards him and pushed the stay hairs from your face, intently observing your features. "Bella, have you been crying?" He stroked your cheeks delicately, "And your eyebags are so dark...have you been getting enough sleep?" He looked genuinely worried, peering into your eyes for any sort of insights, but it was too hard to maintain eye contact with him.
"I'm fine...I—" You muttered, words trapped in your throat.
Tell him you miss him. That you don't want him to leave you again.
No, don't! Let him walk out as usual. Your sadness isn't worth letting a countless number of innocent people get harmed or killed.
Thoughts conflicting and wearing your tired soul out, you only mustered a weak smile, placing your cold hands on top of Dazai's. "If I died now, would you still die with me?"
"What?"
"You promised we'd commit a double suicide together. Would you still—" Dazai's arms wrapped around you, pulling you into him, his warmth and comforting scent making tears fall again, not knowing the next time he would be back. You cursed yourself internally for breaking down in front of him, but you couldn't hold your emotions in any longer. He only held you silently, running his hands through your hair as you sobbed into his chest. You felt lightheaded, crying for several minutes, the only condoling things being the scent of Dazai's cologne and the way he held you to remind you he was still with you.
You looked up from his chest, gazing into his chocolate brown eyes, which were swirling with uncertainty. A pained expression was on his face, no doubt from your actions. "I'm sorry, my love. I'm so sorry..." He lifted your face up to kiss your lips gently and kiss away your salty tears before pulling you back into his chest. "I was selfish to think you wouldn't be hurt by me always being away. I tried to turn a blind eye to focus on work, but..." He exhaled shakily, "...somehow I always hurt the people closest to me...even the one I love the most."
Dazai squeezed you tighter in his arms, "I love you, and I know we'll get past this, darling. I don't expect you to forgive me, but please, please don't think of resorting to that." He cradled your face, forcing you to look up at his broken eyes.
This was the power you had over him. Prison, criminals, and even the mafia couldn't break him anymore, but your tears could melt his gaudy, confident facade instantaneously and bring him to his knees. Exactly what everyone warned you about.
You nodded slowly, the last of your cry session being wiped away by Dazai's thumbs. You hugged him back, listening as his rampant heartbeat went back to normal, staring off to the side.
"Listen, bella, I'm going to be gone for a few months. I suspect I'm going to be arrested and sent to a high-security prison...probably somewhere overseas. We won't—we won't be together for a while." You heaved, holding your breath, "But," He turned your head to face him, "I'm going to stay here for a couple of days until then. Is that okay?"
Before you could think, you crashed your lips on his, and Dazai only happily kissed back, smiling, grateful to have cheered up his love again.
"Y-Yeah, that's fine. I love you, Osamu." You sniffled back. He could stay forever if he wanted to, but you'd take a few days.
"I love you, too, bella. I always will, even when I'm not with you. Enough for the both of us."

Is Philza doing any actual lore in the realm?? Is realm phil canon LOL?? I hope you understand what I mean….
He has no intentional plans to do lore or "formal"/"serious" roleplaying currently, no. He said at the very beginning of TRSMP that he didn't plan to *but* if he ever gets ideas for his character and he really likes them, he'll start something and it'll happen when it happens, so have 0 expectations.
So until we witness that happen, assume he is completely ooc and just existing at all times on the server unless he's like. Obviously involved in lore he's been dragged into.
In other words, if you really want him to do lore, don't breathe a fuckin word of it to him, don't ask ANYTHING about it via TTS, and don't pressure him or ask if he will. You'll make him want to do it less.
So generally speaking, I wouldn't call trPhil "canon," at least as far as the "Phil Cinematic Universe" goes, if that makes sense. Same deal as whatever the fuck Squidcraft was. (Let's be real he only did Squidcraft Like That because so many QSMP members, particularly Missa, were there.)
However, for other TRSMP people's stories, like trSneeg, Phil very much would be "canon." It's one of those cursed blurry-lined canon things, typical of a ooc & rp hybrid SMP. You just kinda gotta develop the ability to cherry pick what moments and such would be canon vs what is Phil being silly.
A helpful tip from local rpPhil expert, me:
In ANY SMP Phil joins, he NEVER plans to roleplay off the bat. It just happens. Or it doesn't, depending on just how invested he is in the server. Hardcore S4 is ALWAYS a priority over the SMP(s) he's a part of. He has explained all of this himself on multiple occasions.
Usually Phil's SMP joining process goes something like this:
Oh fuck yeah concrete m8 gonna hang out with my friends poggggg we vibing
Ah fuck there's lore. Fml. Avoid avoid avoid avoid.
*gets dragged into lore kicking and screaming, not because he hates rp but because he only really deeply cares about lore HE does on HIS terms with HIS character's story*
Well that was crazy. Fuck that shit. Back to vibing poggggggggg.
Possibility 1: Indeed continues to vibe while whatever the fuck else happens with other players, maintains a "damn, that's crazy" attitude about everything. Possibility 2: *gets lore idea* FUCK YOU CHAT [GUNSHOT GUNSHOT GUNSHOT GUNSHOT]
And then depending on which possibility happens, shit goes on from there. He's done this with both DSMP and QSMP. He has said he will Always approach SMPs that contain rp like this.
The key to being fed lore from Phil, in both Hardcore world-building AND any SMP he's on, is to shut your beak, be a patient little crow, and wait for him to choose violence against you. 👍🏻 It will eventually pay off.

Name: Gooigi (again)
Debut: Luigi's Mansion (3DS)
When I was playing Luigi's Mansion 3 for the first time, I was thinking, "I sure love Gooigi. I wish I could write a Weird Mario Enemies post on him, but we already have one..." but I now realize! That post was written before the release of 3! We had no idea! No idea.
Who is the Mario character with the most fleshed-out backstory? Is it Mario, with his monolithic catalogue of media appearances? No, the insight we get into his past is simplistic at most. Is it Rosalina, with her beloved storybook? She comes close, I will admit, but there is someone who comes closer! Can you guess who it is? Can you guess the character I am hyping up in the post with a big image of Gooigi at its forefront? Yes, you can! It's Gooigi.
Indeed, Gooigi has seven entire pages of lore from the official website, written from the perspective of E. Gadd himself, explaining his origins, how he does what he does, WHY he does what he does, everything! You can read it here, and I'm not going to waste time repeating what was already said. I will just paraphrase: Goo is made from coffee mixed with ghost energy. Gooigi is the result of Luigi's digital data being zapped into it for a default form. Gooigi was sent back in time to Luigi's Mansion 1 for training and research purposes, and is now stored in a canister in the Poltergust G-00.
Got it? Good. Here is Baby Gooigi. How precious! Back before he had any Luigi in him at all. This is Goo in a human-shaped mold, and you may notice the mold itself has no face. Baby Gooigi learned how to express agony all on his own! It's no wonder they took a photo of this milestone!
Now with Super Mario Bros. Wonder, we have TWO gelatinous Luigis to choose from. And why not both? Gooigi is a separate entity, so Gooigi and Wubba Luigi can coexist! But not always... when playing Luigi's Mansion 3 single player, Luigi and Gooigi must be controlled separately. Luigi is able to will his consciousness into the doppelgangreener to control its movements, and it's here that it gets extra weird! Weird to the point that this game basically has multiple possible continuities?
Gooigi is NOT scared of ghosts, at all! He is an anomaly to them! This is very much "distinct character" behavior. But how is this the case if Luigi wills his soul into Gooigi? Well, both concepts are kind of true at the same time! As we can see here, cutscenes will actually change depending on if the game is in single-player or co-op play, portraying different events! Really really weird! It's like if Schroedinger's Cat was a pair of funny green men, one with bones and organs, and one translucent. So what is the truth...? (Spoilers for Luigi's Mansion 3 ahead...)
In the ending, even in single-player mode, Gooigi is portrayed as his own sentient character! Even though this contradicts the "consciousness transfer" lore, I think this is the "true" intention for him. It's much more fun and less awkward if he can be active at the same time as Luigi! I also don’t think they care that much about minor gameplay features being lore-compliant, since Polterpup got pupils in the end of the second game, and those were removed in 3 without explanation.
Unfortunately, as the hotel crumbles after King Boo's defeat, Gooigi falls from the top floor and dies.
He even says "bye-bye" before the fall. I can't believe this. How could Nintendo allow something so upsetting? They thought it was okay to let Gooigi say "bye-bye" rather than "goo-dbye"? That has "goo" in it! It would have been perfect. (I am not actually upset by this at all and "bye-bye" is more in character)
After splattering on the pavement he reforms, because duh. He's goo. You can test this for yourself! Scoop a glob of mayonnaise out of the jar with your hand. Next, travel to the top of a skyscraper. Finally, drop the mayonnaise off of the side! When it hits the ground, it will not have died. Science Fact!
As silly it may be, I was a bit worried Gooigi might die for real, even though that wouldn't make any sense to happen. I was just thinking of modern Paper Mario, introducing new buddies only to take them away by the end. But I should have known that Luigi's Mansion is not at all like that! This is the series where they gave Luigi a dog, and that was that. We don't see Polterpup as often as we should, but it cannot be argued! Luigi has a dog. What would stop them from keeping Gooigi around? Nothing, that's what! He stays with E. Gadd, and is not going anywhere!
Just like Polterpup, I would love to see Gooigi more, though. I would love for him to be Luigi's answer to Metal Mario! Gooigi driving a kart! I don't care that he dies in water, and I don't think Nintendo would care too much either. I would like to leave you off with The Big Question. This is a new, distinct character, who is "genetically" similar to Luigi. As such.

On Eddie's and Venom's Children/Offspring
As a local Venom Expert (TM), let me explain this very important bit of Venom lore.
Venom's species, the Klyntar, reproduce asexually. They spawn "once a generation", feel a threat to the hive, or otherwise feel as though they need to increase their numbers due to an upcoming catastrophe (the comics have wiggled this reasoning a little through the years).
Venom has produced seven spawn: Carnage, Scream, Agony, Lasher, Phage, Riot, and Sleeper.
They also have a son together with Anne named Dylan.
Carnage spawned while Eddie was locked up in prison with Cletus Kassady. The spawn occurred during their jailbreak, and Eddie had no idea it was even happening. The other doesn't tell him. Everyone is a bit surprised. All this is revealed in The Amazing Spider-Man #360-362 (1992)
*****
The Life Foundation Symbiotes (Scream, Agony, Lasher, Riot, and Phage) were artificially gestated by the Life Foundation. They captured Eddie and Venom and pulled "seeds" from Venom's body, then grew the spawn in another part of the facility. This is Lethal Protector #4 (1993).
*****
Sleeper is, first of all, the fucking GOAT. Let's get that out of the way. Sleeper is spawned "naturally" however this occurs well after Eddie and Venom have properly bonded and gone through the trauma of having seeds stolen. Eddie, then, senses the birth approaching and feels child-birth related pain. They actually separate during the birth because they're concerned about Eddie's organs shutting down. The symbiote, unfortunately, delivers what they believe to be a stillbirth (this is written SUPER weird in the comics themselves, tbh). The conversation around this birth reveals a lot of complex feelings on Venom's part around their "babies." This happens in Venom #164-165 (2016-2018) which are the last two issues of the Costa run.
Sleeper comes into their own during Venom: First Host (Costa, 2018). Venom is kidnapped, and for the rescue mission Sleeper bonds with Eddie. Previous to this, Sleeper had been tended to regularly by Eddie and Venom together while living in an Alchemex facility.
*****
Dylan Brock is a sight bit more complicated. He's introduced during the Cates run, 2018, and proceeds to be a main character and major narrative pivot for both that run and the current Ewing run (featuring the Venom War event).
SPOILERS FOR CURRENT VENOM
Dylan is the human incarnation of the symbiote codex embedded into Anne. She conceived the child while bonded to the Venom symbiote using DNA transferred over from Eddie (via the symbiote). She had Dylan, then left him to be raised by Eddie's dad, which is where Eddie meets him. So Dylan is the combined child of Eddie, Anne, and Venom, designed by the symbiotes to take out Knull. Dylan's story is still developing and changing.
Edited to add in response to a comment:
Ignore if you want to develop your own interpretation of events around the birth of Dylan Brock. CW: conversation around suicide and mental health
Anne commits suicide not long after leaving Dylan with Eddie's dad. The suicide was written back in the 90s, however, well before any of this newer narrative was conceived. When she's first written as ending her life, it's because she can't live with the guilt of the murders she committed while hosting Venom and experiences an extreme fear and paranoia reaction to symbiotes (rightly so).
When Cates added Dylan, this all got WAY more complicated in terms of determining narrative intent. Namely, was the conception and birth of Dylan a contributing factor to her suicide?
When they do the multiverse thing, they meet an Anne who was the permanent host of Venom because Eddie successfully committed his own suicide. She does not go through the same acute traumatic event that Anne Prime did. When she realizes she's pregnant with Venom's baby, she has a very neutral-positive reaction to it. Even after the introduction of Dylan, the story only ever attributes Anne's suicide to guilt over the murders she commits and subsequent mental break.
When she leaves Dylan with Brock Sr., it's clear she deeply cares for him, yet can't take care of him. She says she'll come back for him when she gets her head right, and does not want Eddie ever knowing Dylan exists. She didn't leave Dylan in a safe baby box or a dumpster or just in his crib while she ended her life. Even though she didn't pick the best caregiver, she left Dylan in a place she knew she could come back to. Where she could see him again. Where he wouldn't be lost in the system. This all implies to me a woman who loved her baby. Who, in some part of her, thought she would come back to get him but unfortunately succumbed to her mental health crisis.
This altogether, the story does not want you to see Dylan's conception and birth as a contributing factor to her suicide. He never shoulders that narrative responsibility. The story wants you to "blame," so to speak, the guilt and paranoia.
This is all analysis, however, and that's going to be heavily influenced by personal interpretation, experiences, and familiarity with the canon. This is the reason why I didn't include it in the original informative section of the post. I didn't want to create bias in a new reader, so I was trying to keep things as neutral as possible (except for Sleeper being The Best. That's simply a FACT /j). But I figured including the additional analysis would create some clarification on a very complex narrative event.
Now I hope that covers enough. Feel free to ask questions or get clarification on anything. I'm literally wallowing in information and no one to share it with.

Silver the Hedgehog: Refugee of a Future Lost to Time
I don’t find myself thinking about Silver a lot, and that’s a bit of a crime honestly. But when I do, I’m struck by how in the weeds I become about his existence. Silver the Hedgehog starts as a young boy with psychokinesis* born into a world on fire. He wants to fix it but doesn’t know how.
*worth mentioning here that while Lore™️ consistently refers to Silver’s power as psychokinesis (the ability to control minds and conjure specific actions from people), his powers in practice are actually much more aligned with the definition of telekinesis (the ability to control objects and manipulate their movement in space).
He despairs with Blaze over the life they live and the nerve-ending cycle of it all, then meets a mouthless hedgehog who claims to have all the answers. In his desperation, Silver clings to the sliver of hope he provides… and this is something I think we often find ourselves forgetting.
Silver never had the power to travel through time—at least, not independently. Mephiles did. Later on, the game establishes that two people can open a time portal through the power of our favourite plot device, the Chaos Emeralds, via Chaos Control.
Through Contrivance’s Paradise, Silver (and company) were just… able to time travel because that’s what the plot needed, but Silver, as an individual, never had the embedded power to travel through time.
I’m still endlessly annoyed that this anniversary game didn’t shoehorn an excuse to bring back the time stones from Sonic CD, but alas.
Silver was barely a figment in the canon imagination after Sonic 06. His appearances in Rivals are just excuses to reintroduce him into the series (because, remember, Sonic 06 removes itself from the timeline by the end of its story), and his appearances there don’t mention his time travelling at all. He appears (for kinda no explainable reason) in Generations, but then… nothing! Absolutely nothing… for FIVE YEARS.
And yet, in 2025’s mainline canon, Silver is just the Time Traveler™️. Since Sonic 06 never happened, the nature of Silver’s time travel beyond Sonic 06 has always been vague, at best.
The running logic seems to be that Silver, through no intentional act of his own, is sent into the past when something catastrophic needs to be stopped. Silver is a being somehow tied to the fate of the world. Silver has been chosen by Time itself to protect it… which is something I kind of love, to be honest.
If Sonic is just a hedgehog who showed up one day and decided to do good, then Silver is a sort of divine guardian of his travels.
It’s taken canon a bit of time to settle into this interpretation, but the IDW comics have taken pretty much any opportunity they can to establish this fact as fact.
In issue 3 of the Sonic Forces prequel comics, Silver returns from the future to warn Knuckles about the Eggman Empire’s success, which implies that Silver has some sense of control over his time travel.
In mainline IDW 8, Silver returns to the present after winning the war didn’t save his future, under the same pretense that he can just… do that.
However, by the end of the Meal Virus comic arc (IDW 12-29), in a pretty monumental move for his story, Silver’s future is officially saved.

IDW 31
Now, having done the damn thing and guaranteed a Good Future™️, Silver is free to be a kid again… and for his efforts, as I intend to argue, Time rewards him…
…by sending him back to the past where all the bullshit is happening lmao. Hear me out.
In the IDW Sonic 2022 annual, Silver returns to the present, but this time he has no idea why or how*. This is when canon decides to remove the pretense of Silver having active control of his time traveling. It’s largely implied that Silver will be in the present for the foreseeable future (no pun intended).
*I’ve included the proof for this below as it’s more directly relevant to another point I’m making in a moment.
With the inauguration of Fast Friends Forever, the SEGA initiative that champions friendship through a lore-centric focus on Sonic and his friends in and out of the games, Silver’s time travel is explicitly explained as external to his control.
By IDW 58, Silver is roped back into the mainline plot, and it’s made abundantly clear that he no longer has never had the ability to travel freely through time.

So, Silver’s arc becomes about finding his place and trying to live life without the demand of proactivity—to enjoy the moment while making the most of the life he has.
But… why? Why must he do this? Why take him down this road?
Silver the Hedgehog starts as a young boy with psychokinesis born into a world on fire. That world no longer exists.
Silver the Hedgehog became a young boy with psychokinesis born into a world dominated by the Eggman Empire. That world no longer exists.
Silver the Hedgehog further became a young boy with psychokinesis left behind by a world decimated by metallic disease. That world no longer exists.
With every trip to the past, every day saved, Silver rewrites his own life for the sake of his world—so much so that there’s nothing for him when he returns. His entire world has changed. People he might have known before cease to exist as they once were.
When Silver saved his future, he sacrificed his place within it—because once he saved his future, his future ceased to exist. Instead, a new future curates itself in Silver’s absence because he wasn’t there to be a part of it.
Returning to the IDW 2022 annual:
It seems that Time has sent him back to the place—the time—he belongs… where he has unwittingly planted his roots.
Something which Espio so elegantly points out.

Thanks to his sacrifices, Silver is no longer the Omen of Disaster. He’s Silver the Hedgehog: the psychokinetic. Silver the Hedgehog: the kid.
He is Silver the Hedgehog: Refugee of the Future, and he deserves nothing more but to blossom in the garden of most significance to him, among the flowers he loves so dear.

Hey so in my depression about tr!WaterHalo falling apart again I started thinking about why and went down a rabbit hole of angst so if that was Bad's intention , great job :D (/neg but not really, just in a silly way)
Anyways: So i was thinking about how, yes tr!Bad is an oblivious aromantic son of a bitch (I'm aromantic as well, that doesn't explain away his lack of rizz /j) who fumbled the dragon lady for like the millionth time, but there is probably a little more going on to this given him saying "angsty lore is the best lore" so I went down a rabbit hole of where this all goes
Yes this is gonna be a lot and yes it is honestly lowkey embarrassing that I thought up all this because of tr!Bad nosediving a date so hard he might as well have ended up at the center of the earth, BUT I DIGRESS:
*warning: most of this has nothing to do with holywater, it's mostly just !Bad*
tr!Bad has kinda been going through Ultra Depression™ like I've mentioned before due to him losing everything he cares about, which has resorted in him becoming a Gold Medal Olympic Alcoholic but also he's started to push people away a bit more
I got to thinking maybe the reason why Bad botched this date so hard (if we ignore the fact that he is in fact just this oblivious and didn't realize it was romantic) is because he's trying really hard to not actually care about Water, because he knows that people he cares about get hurt/die, even given his best efforts to save them..so maybe if he lets Water start hating him on her own, she'll stay away and live a long life like she deserves
BUT then I started thinking about !Bad as a character and just how fucking depressing he is which led me down the path of thinking about what exactly happened to him/what is happening to him now which leads me to my theories of his character and timeline of events:
Bad is an angel chilling in heaven, doing what he's told like any good angel does when he's given the task of killing the dinosaurs, which he does because it's what he's told to do. However, when he returns he is told this is his purpose, his one task for all eternity is to kill and cause destruction which is not at all something that sounds inticing.
He, along with others, rebel against this idea that their fate and existence is predetermined against their will which directly contradicts their existence. They get thrown out of heaven leading to his fall and being trapped under Euphrates, only being able to escape when he, who would've guessed it, kills the angels guarding him, proving the heavens right.
Like a curse and a constant reminder, a halo continuously hangs over his head even if everywhere he goes, catastrophe follows and every person he learns to love dies by either his own hand or his own actions/inactions, reminding him that his fate is sealed and he can do nothing to prevent it, no matter how hard he tries.
And this gets proven for him when he stumbles onto an island and meets the first creatures in a long time he'd sacrifice himself for: his kids. This was a love that ran deeper than any he had felt before..so when they went missing and he couldn't feel their lives close, he spiraled. Believing he had lost them, he prepares himself to be a catalyst for the end of the world, torturing himself to feel a fraction of the amount of pain he was about to bring. If his kids were truly dead, then the end of life on earth would bring them together again, he would swallow his pride and do what the heavens sent him to do if it meant he could reunite with them again.
But he miscalculated. They were alive, being held somewhere horrible where he had to embrace the killing to potentially save them, but by that time, he was already prepared. When they were escaping from that place and he tanked a nuke to save Dapper, his decay got worse and he found himself in his own mind, between life and death, debating with himself and the different parts of his soul on what to do. He was so prepared to take on his mission, but now what? He was so dead set on completing his purpose to return to his kids, but now they were here with him again, he needed to protect them and take care of them, it wasn't time yet again.
That purpose ate away ate him, but he couldn't risk hurting his kids so when the opportunity to go back to that place of killing arose, he sent the part of his soul that wanted it the most, while the other parts got to stay and protect his kids from it. But his body was still in a state of decay, and actions always have consequences, he suffered for literal months slowly dying but stayed there for his kids, until his body and mind literally gave out, reliving the worst moment in all his lives: the day he lost his son.
When he gets to that desert again, with the scales laid before him and two doors on either side, he didn't even notice they were balanced, not until he looked towards the door "Home", the only place he was ever meant to exist. The door normally locked and chained shut not stood clean, almost welcoming..and he screams "why?" Why now does he get the choice to return home? Why when he finally has something to protect, that he's finally been able to protect, does he get the option to go? He contemplates for what feels like days, but he made a promise to return to his babies, and while it wasn't a deal, he couldn't bring himself to break it.
So he returns to them..but he only has limited time with them before he seemingly does what he does best and the people he loves are once again taken from him. Once all his kids are done, he has carved their memorial into the very earth, and the last of his comrades depart, he does as well. He kills himself seemingly in the only rift in whatever protection the island has and seems..surprised to arrive back in the desert in front of those scales. He turns and sees his kids run up to him from the wide open gates of his home. A beautiful sight, if it didn't come with a cost. Heaven basically dangles his kids in front of his face, knowing these creatures were what he chose over them, knowing the pull they have over him and using it as leverage to push him to complete his mission.. and it kind of works.
Now he finds himself in this new realm, meeting new and old friends, people he cares for, but knowing deep down he's here for a specific reason. He needs to finish this Cathedral to figure out the missing piece to the puzzle of what his mission is/how to complete it. But what's the rush really? He knows his kids are safe in heaven, they can't die again and are out of harms way, he can spend some spare moments enjoying life before he snuffs it out.
I don't think this Cathedral is to contact heaven, I think that's what Bad hopes it does. Bad has made it clear that his mind and memory are all over the place, I've said it before and I'll say it again: I believe that the part of his soul that remembers his mission and is fully prepared to kill the entire planet to see his kids again, is the one he left in Purgatory, and I also fully believe Heaven would trick him into bringing that part of his soul back and forcing Bad to combine it back with the rest of himself. And when not if his mind fails again, maybe it isn't alcohol or a broken heart, but a broken soul, torn between killing everyone to return home to his kids, or never seeing his kids again to buy humanity more time than heaven believes they deserve.
There are some more theories I have that are a lot more eccentric like Bad potentially going through with the apocalypse but betraying heaven to make a new world (maybe with the help of Foolish 👀) but that's not really something I believe is planned lol
#the realm smp#trsmp#qsmp#q!badboyhalo#tr!bad#tr!badboyhalo#badboyhalo#this is the big old angsty character analysis/theory I was talking about#yes this was brought on by me thinking too much about !Bad and how sad and pathetic he is#BRO FUMBLED WATER SO HARD I MADE AN ENTIRE CHARACTER ANALYSIS
