I do love what started out as something made up for the American cartoons would eventually become canon in the actual games.

It occurred to me that it would be fun in some fantasy story to have squirrels with wings, but then I remembered that their tails are so fluffy as a way to slow them down when they jump from branch to branch (and occasionally fall out of trees).

A squirrel trying to flap enough to move forward with that kind of drag would be a sad thing to see. Flying with the brakes on.

And well, there's always magic in fantasyland to make things easier, but that's just cheating.

A pet headcanon of mine is that during Veilguard D&D night (which absolutely exists, don't even try to tell me otherwise), Taash may be the one who says little, takes no notes, and often just stacks dice until it's their turn to bonk something, but nevertheless they are also absolutely the only one in the room who has read all the rulebooks cover to cover, and remembers all the rules, plot details, and NPC names by heart.

Like their barbarian may be named Baash, and they may look and sound eerily like them, but they also have an intricately built, 20 page backstory, an arc that's set up to tie into the setting perfectly, and a fully formed, rich personality that acts as the very glue holding the party together.

Sirius Black 100% has a ton of fears he nonchalantly expands upon that are from abuse; a fear of small spaces from being locked in a closet or a fear of wands being pointed at him suddenly, but he always explains it and then moves on, so his friends are used to it/don't think much of it.

then one day, while they're out and about doing gay wizard things, Sirius starts freaking out. like, screaming, panicking, crying, Freaking Out. they calm him down, take him back to their dorm or something, and ask what happened. he quietly mumbles, "I saw a squirrel." they sit and wait for him to explain, but he absolutely refuses to. they bribe him, James uses his puppy eyes, they even get Lily in on it because she's always able to get information out of someone. nothing. they hesitantly move on and all decide to try and help Sirius avoid squirrels from now on, thinking it's so traumatizing for him he can't even joke about it like normal.

a few months later, James and Regulus are dating and they update him on all of Sirius' fears from his childhood so he can help them with it, and they mention squirrels. Regulus stops, looks at them, and laughs so hard he genuinely pulls an abdominal muscle. he eventually calms down and explains that, when they were younger, the Black brothers and sisters were playing outside somewhere and saw a squirrel. all five of them approached it, and it backed up and ran until it caught sight of Sirius. for whatever reason, that squirrel decided to chase Sirius. it scrambled after him, chattering away, and even managed to scratch his ankle.

and to this day, Sirius is terrified of squirrels.

Sonic the Tarot Update #6

Heya! We're going to keep this update briefer than usual. Here is the preview of our Wands suit! The Wands suit traditionally represents one's consciousness and core values and is visualized as Sonic's allies in Sonic the Tarot.

Palworld - A Brief Farewell

Aidan and Rebeca must go back to the lands of the Wixens of the East to report on they inding nothing at Astra's old refuge, and are going to use one of those mysterious efigies of fast travel to do so. And despite their promises of coming to visit soon, Astra can barely hide the sadness she feels, she just met them and already likes them a lot.

Fortunately for the katress, it seems she is not going to be alone while waiting for her friends.

Both artworks for 'Preposterous Proportions' are pretty cool and wild. Being a big fan of ring-tailed lemurs, though, I prefer that the alternate art version. Have you seen the price of the foil version? I'm guessing it's a foil version. It's nearly $30. That's crazy. I still want it though.
