I was going to comment on your last post, but I had too many words. So, behold! Here are my words!

This is the Astarion/Tav I've been waiting to see. An after game fic where they have to build up from what was started in the game, where they are still working through all the feelings from that traumatic life changing event they all went through. I love this angle of the friendship route, because I too think that he needs friendship and not someone putting any demands on his body and just be there for him. Buuuuut I also see his need to make his own choices and that he may want intimacy, even sexual intimacy, at his own pace. Hell, he obviously wants cuddles and companionship. And the thought of depriving him of that makes me sad. Like big sad.

Also, I want to mention something specific that I feel you are doing so well with Astarion's voice. And it's the ability to turn off his charismatic facade wording he uses and talk in a more comfortable/vulnerable 'him' way, but without making him sound weird. Sometimes, when authors do this, they lose his charm and he doesn't sound like himself anymore. He would still be sly and charismatic and impatient, but not trying so hard as we see him most of the time with his 'honeyed' words. I like how you voice him so much. Is this really first fic you've written? Because I'm floored by your voices and pacing and sexual tension? It's all so good!

Uhhhh, I'm not sure where I was going with this. I just really love your fic. It's great, I can't wait for more.

PS. I hate using honeyed words all the time to describe the way he talkes, but poetical fuck boy words is the only other way I can think of to describe the way he speaks. Maybe I need more coffee.

Isn't it wonderful how you can just explore the want vs need dilemma with Astarion? It's a common theme throughout his journey with Tav. What he wanted never mattered, and he often mixes what he wants with what he needs, which I find to be very realistic. It happens quite often in real life, too. Sometimes, what we want is not what we need and vice versa. Also, the scars of his trauma are still very much present and since they remained friends, he never really got to heal in terms of intimacy, so it's still very easy for him to slip into that mask of using sweet words and physical contact to establish intimacy. It's all he's ever known, after all.

Oh, that is such a specific and wonderful praise! Voicing Astarion is a challenge, and it's really up to each person to try to write him in a believable way. I am trying my best, but I still feel insecure at times 🥺💔 so thank you so much for saying these reassuring words. It's not my first fic 😅 I was writing for Miguel O'Hara just a couple of months ago and have been reading/writing fanfiction for over 13 years 🥸

oh it was definitely my beomgyu drabble mine !! it was the fic that got me a ton of my followers and it's my first post to reach 1k and 2k+ notes which was super exciting :')

heyo ash!!! this is very very late but i absolutely had no energy to send this in bc of exams and stress blah blah blah but now that i can i wanted to let you know how much I LOVED FEEL YOUR TOUCH

it's so... how do i explain it??? i cant describe it in words

it was very very steamy 😯 simply put, the sides of jimin showed as peach vs THE park jimin were extremely addicting to fall into

and the way peach interacted with oc was just pure sin, even in the chill parts of the story (sub!jimin supremacy i just have to)

but the end where jimin switched with oc was wow woah um um um yum

but i had no idea how a oneshot could break me THEIR ONE WEEK OF SEPARATION HURT LIKE PHYSICALLY HURT ME i was so engrossed into the story at that point that i just zoned out wanting to know if they would get together or not 😭

over all 12/10 would recommend it was an amazing experience i can't wait to read more stories and i hope ill be able to appreciate them a bit faster 😶,,, sorry ab that 💗 good luck writing for next year!!!

omg it was my first time attempting a sub!member fic that i decided to try out bec a friend had jokingly asked me to write subby camboy jimin for her birthday lmao 😭 what shocked me was how easily it flowed and how much fuN i had while writing! i began it in december and was done by valentine's day - all 27 k words in two months while i also wrote a whole kidnapping pwp of some 11k words in january 😭

A/N: Hey, everyone.. I am back with 2pm fanfics. This is gonna be a Three-shot scenario as requested by my dear anon. Please, it's a small request to kindly give your feedback. It means alot ❤️

"Wow, Mr Lee that's an amazing write up and I can't wait for the book to be published and read it but please, excuse my curiosity but there is more to it right? As in it feels this is actually from your own perspective like from your life experience or something?"

Chapter-1 Hate You

“Good Morning Mr Lee, here are some of the updates for the morning that would take you in for a mini ride .”

“I really hope these updates are of some worth; considering how they are the usuals, just about the records being sent to other concerned authorities and receiving back the replies”, said the tall black haired guy to his colleague whose name was Taecyeon. “Well, that's the basic going on but anyways, we have got confirmation from the head to lead an extensive research team and also to set the camps around the scenes where crime has taken pla-

“Woah, how did the Sun rise from the west! Anymore updates?”

“There is something peculiar pattern found in all the victims’ bodies and as well as the background they come from but t-” 

At this point the black haired guy frustratedly pulled his hair. “But what Tae?” 

Taecyeon took a deep breath before continuing, “The head has requested the national forensics department to join our investigation under the leadership of Dr Kim.”

“No, man!! They are those typical b-

A knock came on the door before Taecyeon called the person inside “Excuse me sirs, but Chief Superintendent General sir is calling you both”

“Thank you officer San! You may leave but keep me updated about the Giva case.” 

“I will sir and as of now, a small inquiry team has been set up” officer San said before saluting the two officers and leaving the premises.

A firm knock was placed on the door before a ‘faint come in’ was heard. “Sir, you called us?”

“Yes, I did. Junho and Taecyeon have a seat. So, the sudden rise in crime has shocked not only the whole country but globally there is a spread of fear and worry. From, what we expected to be a cold blooded murder as a part of the revenge or vengenance,there is a lot more to it and by now Taecyeon might have told you by looking at the patterns, the victims’ backgrounds and how they are possibly linked to the area 71 and abandoned streets of Seoul and Busan. Its just not a coincidence; there is more to it from what we believe. Therefore, the division has taken the decision to include the forensics team under the lead of Dr Kim. I hope you will cooperate with each other. Any further questions?”

“No sir” The voices were heard in unison. “Good, you may leave and Dr Kim will be joining from tomorrow.” The Chief Superintendent General said before dismissing the young men.

“You don’t seem that happy when you heard about Dr Kim, is everything okay?” Taecyeon placed his hand over Junho’s shoulder.

“Its not Dr Kim but one of his team member. Dr Y/N, she is the reason why I am frustrated, as my headache now will turn into migraine and as much as I wanna avoid her but she somehow comes back into my life.”

“Is she that bad?” Taecyeon asked while raising one of his eyebrows. “I mean, I don’t know what actually happened and now we literally loathe each other’s presence at least she does.”

“What about you?”

“I also don’t like her presence-

“There is a difference between not liking and loathing someone and their presence. Anyways, I will find solutions for you, okay?” Taecyeon said before hugging him.

“Y/N, did you hear the news?” Jennie asked with a bored look. “What news Jen?”

“We have to work under Dr Kim on the new rise of mystery murders by the serial killer along with the national police.”

“You gotta be kidding me. No? Why?” Y/N said with a worried look. “Why are you so worried and upset? Scared that the serial killer might come and be like surpri-

“Oh shut up!!! T-thats not the case.”

“Then?”

“Him?’

“Him who? Oh wait! Are you sure that he is still in there?” she said with a surprised look.

“Yes, I have seen his pictures with Tae.” Y/N said with a slight pout.

“Y/N, its been ages!! You two can’t act like this! What was the actual reason for it though for what happened between you and Junho” Jennie with a disappointed look.

Y/N sighed deeply before speaking , “It had been way back to high school. We were acquaintances or maybe friends but some misunderstandings happened and there was no clarity but at the same time I didn’t wanna confront him, considering how his friend circle was. We were at each other’s throat and still are. Just looking at him, I still get furious but sometimes I feel is it valid? And his actions justify my emotions for him, anyway we need to get ready for the meeting.”

“Then, why did you act like you didn’t hear the news? Because you wanted to talk about him, huh?” Jennie smirked which earned her a smack. “Ouch, it hurts!” she whined. “I mean, its you we are talking about. The way you present stuff is great.” You said with a small smile before rubbing her shoulder where you smacked.

“So, guys this is our new home till the investigation gets completed. Please try to make your acquaintances while me and Chief Superintendent General will have a minute’s talk.” Dr Kim said and with that he went out for a short conversation.

Throughout the little interaction glares and hot stares were exchanged with little venom dripping through sharp responses.

“We met again Y/N. Hopefully, you won’t be as much as the pain you were before.`` Junho said as he put his hand forward.

“As much as you might be kinda happy to trouble me but I am not in the mood. So, if you wanna save yourself from a prescription of heavy doses of painkillers and consultation with a doctor, STAY AWAY FROM ME!” You sad with a stern look while shaking his hand.

“Didn’t knew that this little ant would be so brave.” He said with a small smirk.

“Well, I think you forgot that as much as an elephant might harm the ant with its power but a small movement and bite is enough for the elephant to surrender. I hate you Lee Junho”

“Likewise Y/N”

With that the two of you went back to your colleagues and started the discussion of this new coming challenge.

HAIIIII OH EM GEE... Okay so first of all it's very coincidental that my introduction to your writing happens to be your recent x vil fic cause I'm feel very similar to him and ooooooooh you capture him so well I absolutely adore it.

And much like Vil I do hold things up to high standards and just. Woah. That has to be the best x reader fic I've ever read. It's just so rare to find something with this kind of writing quality and smooth pacing when it comes to x reader fics. Look, anyone could make an interesting narrative but few can truly execute said narrative. There's something so refreshing to something that isn't you're typical "insert fic trope here"

Also... You definitely have an eye for writing the falling in love process, it's the way you're able to make each of your fics feel different with how the process goes, not just because of the change of characters but the story beats itself, you could write the same basic scenario for each character and there would still be a drastic difference from it and I'd eat it up regardless 🙏

Also also, even if the fic wasn't necessarily long by god did I felt Vil's longing that got me actually going crazy crazy 😭😭 op I would wait a hundred years and pay you a million dollars if it means I get to see you serve more of this amazing content

1) Peaches Ain't Pretty - Gen, Harley Keener-centric - 17k

Harley Keener and his sister Abbie have never had an easy life, but they've always had each other and that's enough. They'll make it be enough.

my beloved ❤ tbh I surprised the hell out of myself with this one. First of all, I was inspired to write it by Devil Town by Cavetown (specifically the version linked--the kid's got like 4 versions now lol). I actually had the idea for this when I first heard the song wwaaaaayyyyy back when I was posting Don't Freak Out in 2020 and working on the sequel, but at that time I was SO overwhelmed (with covid and posting fic for the first time in nearly 2 years, and writing that freaking sequel (haha see what i did?), and covid) so I just ignored the plot bunny and forgot about it. Fast forward to a year later, I started listening to the song again and the idea came back to me and I was like, okay okay I don't have anything better to do rn, I'll just jot down some ideas... Then like 3 days later I had a completed fic lol

BUT before I started, I knew I wanted it to have a certain tone (serious and at times heavy, but not depressing--i wanted those spots of light) and I wanted it to follow the Keeners from childhood to their coming of age into adulthood. Honestly I didn't know if I could pull that off. Writing from a child's perspective is hard. Writing an accent I don't have without making it obnoxious is hard. I'm so stinkin' happy with it though! It turned out as perfect as I could have asked for. It still blows me away when i reread it. Like woah I made that.

When I started writing it I was iffy about working towards a parkner ending bc I really wanted it to be only about the Keeners but I'm weak so that's where it ended up lol And now I'm posting the parkner sequel! Check out A Peach Like You (which technically I wrote in 2021 even though I'm only just now posting it, so it counts)

2) The Distance Between (You and Me) - parkner - 29k

When Pepper offered to begin training him to become CEO of Stark Industries, she warned Harley it would put a target on his back. He didn't take her seriously until after he'd been left chained and shivering in a dark hole for three days.

Rescued but with his kidnappers still at large, Tony recruits a bodyguard to shadow his every step and keep him safe until Tasha can hunt down his kidnappers. Harley isn't impressed. If he wasn't already at his wit's end muscling through nightmares, dissociative episodes, and pretending like he's handling everything like a champ then maybe he'd be able to figure out what exactly makes Peter Parker so special.

Ah the bodyguard AU. This one was so hard to write. Not bc of the fic, but bc of my head space. Real life took a nose dive and let's just say I had a pretty shitty time starting in May last year and it didn't really let up until, uh, November?? Writing felt impossible. I had all these big awful feelings and I couldn't set them aside in order to write. I've never been a vent writer and quite frankly idk how to be honest enough with myself to do that on purpose...

All that to say, it took A LOT to get this one down. Major thank you to everyone--@michellejones-stacy I'm looking at you in particular ily ❤--who cheered me on and shared their enthusiasm with me. It literally wouldn't have happened if I didn't know you guys were looking forward to it. Some days the only reason I pushed myself to write was bc of you so 🙌🎉✨🥰😭 thank you

But then when I finished it, it felt hollow, like I'd gone through the steps of writing but there was no soul in it. I didn't believe the feedback I got telling me it was good. It took until like... last month? When I finally read it fresh that I realized actually yeah, everyone was right and it is good! So I'm super proud of myself that this fic exists at all, but also I'm proud of how it turned out despite my challenges while writing it.

3) The Human Kind - parkner - 3.7k

“Your game of tag made the news again,” Miles says with a frown. “I don’t get why you won’t talk to him.”

“It’s more like hide-and-seek,” he says, not bothering to address the second statement as he pulls off his mask. They’ve been through that song and dance enough times they both know it by heart and it’s lost its spark.

“That’s not how it looks on TV. Looks like a lot of chasing and not a lot of counting.”

“Yet it always ends with me hiding and him giving up on seeking so—,” He waves his hand in a ‘there you have it’ fashion then hits the spider symbol on his suit.

This one. This one I tried to write angst lol and I hurt myself! So mission accomplished? I re-read this one recently and I'm really happy with it. It starts out light and there are questions laid out that you don't get immediate answers too, but you don't really worry about it bc it's Peter and he's quipping and making jokes and it's fun, right? Then it gets serious and that's when my feelings get hurt.

4) No Need to Rush - parkner - 5.3k

5 times Peter almost says I Love You (but Harley does instead) + 1 time they both say it

(Yes, it's a needlessly complicated take on this trope but it's my needlessly complicated take on this trope)

There's a comment on this fic that essentially calls this the perfect spiderlad fic and that's what pops into my head every time I think of it lmao it makes me realize that this is p much the only fic where I wrote established Iron Lad rather than the beginnings of Harley becoming Iron Lad. I adore this fic in it's own right, but that comment + this fic makes me really really really want to go all out with a spiderlad fic. Harley and Peter fighting side-by-side, the quips and banter, the hurt/comfort, the intrinsic understanding between them that no one else can touch because only they know exactly what they're facing day-in and day-out, partners in every sense of the word--I just *wistful sigh* I'm gonna write one for real, a full-sized fic, and that's that on that.

5) Undercover? I thought you said undercovers... - parkner - 3.7k

Peter and Harley are undercover at a black-tie event and get into a sticky situation

This one is pure fun. I had a blast writing it and I adored all of the squeeing comments I got for it and I get a good laugh out of it every time I re-read it. It's the embodiment of bickering as a love language.

Okay okay i just need to ramble about the yandere xiao fic because woah it was so 😭🥰

It genuinely filled me with pure dread to the point i closed my curtains and it’s been a long time since anyone’s writing was able to do that. So like very props to you because your writing??? Absolutely immaculate 😩👌

A lot of writers forget that the yandere trope is supposed to be terrifying yet also enjoyable for the reader, like they just write a kidnappingbut make the character slightly overprotective, but not really intimidating. But you, oh you managed to capture that feeling of horror, the slow loss of hope, the drowsy feeling of separating yourself from reality because of it all just ugh it’s so perfect, love it so so much.

Also i was crying during the end, when Eula came to save us 🥺 it made me so sad, the lost love between darling and her. I was practically screaming in my head “no!! Eula run away!! Don’t die for this!!” And i’m so glad she (hopefully) got away without any extra harm to her. I hope she got to go live a happy life and find someone else to love her, getting to move on from the reader. Sad but I wish only the best for my favorite woman <\3

Anyways sorry for the rambling!! It’s just that your writing is absolutely perfect and i will be re-reading that fic for a good few weeks, i just absolutely had to let you know how perfect that fic

wow, thank you for such a wonderful comment! please don’t be sorry —it’s not rambling to me—because it honestly made my day. I love reading comments/feedback/thoughts about my fics, since my perspective as a writer is very different from that of a reader.

it’s funny that you mention it filled you with dread, because when I write yandere fics, I don’t consciously go for that kinda mood. it just kinda happened with this fic, with the background and characterization.

the xiao I chose to portray was a bit removed from what I would describe as canon xiao—more animalistic, less restraint, none of that morality struggle nonsense, especially considering that he’s really not grappling with things like karmic debt. less traumatized, and a lot more dangerous. so yeah, that mental divide between him and darling, where he truly does not understand what he’s doing wrong, means fun times for everyone.

as for yandere portrayals, soft or sadistic or whatever, i read depending on mood; coincidentally, before writing, I happened to read this amazing darkfic, dead dove do not eat variety. really made me in the mood to write something fucked up—so with the anon request, i was like... how about 'let’s have sex while i'm forcing you to look at a man I killed for you while in a puddle of his blood'

on the one hand, hot. on the other, what the fuck.

(also, I will be honest and say that my brain was in constant thirst mode while writing some parts…)

fanfics are very much personal preference. different strokes for different folks, as the saying goes! I like yandere fics where the danger is subtle. for me, it’s not so much about the capture, but moreso the ✨implications✨. yes, I am indeed a fan of things like suspense and slow burn haha.

i definitely think there’s room for many types of portrayals, though I’m happy to hear you liked mine! my personal preference is focusing on the psychological aspect, which you can definitely see in the fic when darling just kinda goes.. despondent. your comment about the loss of hope and their separation from reality is spot on!

Poor Eula… I was considering having a more, um, gruesome ending, but I love her too much to really go through with it. she’s quite a comfort character for me, so it'd have been jarring to write. I had a lot of fun writing the Eula and darling scenes though, since they were so cute.
