One thing I don’t like about the peacemaker show (aside from James Gunn and John Cena talking about Chris being bi in a really weird fucked up way) is the way Peacemakers family is now like redneck coded when in the comics Chris grew up rich because his dad was a Austrian Arms Manufacterer who got rich during WW2.

Like I think their actual economic situation in the show is probably pretty good given Auggie having enough money to build villain costumes for him and his son and having the whole weird pocket dimension room at all but I think that makes like putting them in a trailer park in flashbacks and shit even weirder instead of better. I don’t know I feel like it’s weird they had to resort to “the neo nazi lived in a trailer park and had a mullet” type shit. Like furthering the idea that only Dumb Hicks are neo-nazis who fall for Qanon and shit when we literally know by now a lot if not most of them are rich fucks. Whatever.
