All of my fellow Christians I have exciting news!

I am going to be leading the evening women’s bible study at my church soon!

This is so exciting and nerve wracking at the same time. I am a very introverted awkward person, but this is clearly where God has been leading and growing me for the last few years, and while I may not feel ready, He will be there with me for every moment. 

So prayers that I wont let my fears get in the way of serving God in this way, prayers that I will seek God in everything (To Him be all the glory!) and help lead his daughters closer to Him, and honor Him with all my words. That I wont mistake my wisdom for anything but His. 

New season, lots of changes needed to my daily life, but all good ones.

Bible Study- Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 ♡

"There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:

a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them, a time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing, a time to search and a time to give up, a time to keep and a time to throw away, a time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak, a time to love and a time to hate, a time for war and a time for peace."

In a time like now filled with many distractions, it is easy to be tempted by procrastination. As a college student, I tend to be very harsh on myself when I am not as productive as I would like to me or if I spend too much time doing things other than studying or work. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 reminds me that there is a time for all things to take place.

Be kind to yourself when you fall short of your expectations because every season has its purpose, and it's okay to have periods of rest and downtime <3

We are meant to love each other, everyone

Accept who you are and who you will become

Don't let your past define you but shape your future for who you will be

Love isn't rushed or sexual

It's within us to share and appreciate

Enjoy you're time while you still have some

And always be joyous even in bad situations

Heal from what has broken you

Propser from where you are now

Be happy. Be loved. Show love.

God Loves Imperfect People

Most of the time, we believe that God loves us as long as we’re making good decisions, resisting temptation, and treating people right. But there will be times when you compromise, times when you have doubts, times when you fail. When we don’t perform perfectly, it’s easy to think that God is far from us.

I say this respectfully, but sometimes religion pushes people down. It says, “If you make poor choices, you’re on your own.” But the truth is that when you fall, God doesn’t turn away from you. He comes running toward you. When you blow it, God doesn’t say, “Too bad. You had your chance.” Rather, He comes after you with a greater passion. When you make a mistake, God loves you so much that He pursues you. He won’t leave you alone until He sees you restored and back on the right course. That’s the mercy of God coming after you. God loves imperfect people.

Matthew 5:8 Reflection on Purity

"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God." Matthew 5:8

"Pure" in my little understanding connotes that the intention of such blessed people is to SEEK God with pure intentions of seeking HIM for HIMSELF, not just for our needs, wants and desires. Such blessed people shall seek God and God's promise is that they WILL find Him! Praise God!!!

Bible Study- Colossians 3:1-2 ♡

"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things."

Today's bible study had to do with protecting your mind. As of lately, I tend to spend my mornings scrolling away on TikTok. Not only does this promote laziness, but certain posts feed into my negative mindset.

Am I not pretty enough? Am I not successful enough?

Mornings allow for us to have a new beginning, a fresh start. Instead of feeding into negative mindsets, we should work to protect our minds and preserve them for joy. Instead of spending those extra hours or minutes in the morning on social media, spend them reading a book or scripture. Spend it researching new healthy recipes or preforming morning stretches. Use the time you were blessed with to better prepare yourself for a positive day ahead. Before you allow yourself to jump into the stressors of the world, reflect in your heart and allow for God to renew your prospective of the day.
