My skin now in flames

My heads a hurricane

He didn’t expect to have to handle this

He didn’t sign up for this crisis

This isn’t a simple mess

His hand on my cheek is pretend

The devil is a woman tonight

But after tonight I’ve gotta let him go from my mind

Better to be solo

When walking this road

I can’t bring him along

Besides, you never hear of the devil being in love with anyone

In the air, soft is the wind,

Moist upon my skin touching me,

Gently and firmly.

Wondering is it a kiss from you love?

The night shades of your eyes, as if opening

a fiesta of fruits and jewels.

Oh how I love it when you smile,

As if you command the moon to shine,

The flowers to open bloom and dance in the air.

The branches of time, weaving in the future and now,

I alone, see your beauty. For I only see you.

For you are bud of the bud, in beauty of my world.

It's as if you walked in my life, through a brick door,

Through memories of hauntingly sad songs, played

To no one, only I could hear. Then you danced with my soul.

Together, step by step.

I remember yours songs I dance with you,

Eye to eye, hands in hands, of the past that was not to be.

My beloved, your smile, the fruit of of my thirst.

Soft in the air, kissing me, tonight.

For I yours and you are mine,

I am what you make me..for my love is reflection of you

Come into my arms...your already there,

I need to feel your presence.

There was no do you want this

No are you okay

As if having sex meant as little as buying me a coffee

You did not care that it might have meant more to me

There was no "does it feel okay"

Whilst you simply destroyed my dignity

To you I am not a woman

To you I am simply an object of your desire

While I, feeling more undesirable than ever before

Because no, I'm not okay

I am simply piecing together this entire night

And now I can see it

How on earth did I miss it

Talking about our childhoods and how similar they were

It wasn't conversation

It was all just a plan

Your plan all along

You weren't simply being kind

There was never going to be a date

Instead you loured me

All the way to this bed

And now I know

After this night I won't see you again

I hate to think it

But I simply cannot ignore it

I question is there a fault with me

Maybe I'm not pretty

It must be my body

Maybe I'm only ever for one night

Sex may have no meaning for you

But that does not give you the right

To take its meaning from me

So the next time maybe ask her

Questions like do you want this

Are you okay

And if she consents

That doesn't mean you shouldn't ask her if it feels okay
