i'm so sick of my fellow iranians being cringe as fuck on social media and simping for the state of israel out of some insane the enemy of my enemy is my friend mentality like i know this is crazy but you can hate the iranian government without deciding to go full monarchist and act like israelis are liberators of literally anything or anyone
like i'm sorry if the best you can envision for iran is trading one authoritarian for the son of the previous authoritarian (who was literally overthrown bc he was an authoritarian puppet of the united states) solely bc of his name then you hate the iranian people more than i can image

I FEEL like it is basic tumblr etiquette not to reblog people’s posts with “now I normally hate the person/thing you’ve posted about but this one I can make an exception!” I swear people forget that OPs can... read tags. Couching with compliments doesn’t make it less shitty!

Not to be the guy who says “this should’ve been taught in high school,” and not to be biased towards my major but I really do think some parts of psychology really should be taught to everyone—past the most basic shit like blah blah blah Freud and Pavlov (and a SHIT TON OF incredibly outdated, unreplicable and ultimately useless studies) bc like understanding our own behavior as well as others’ is a great way to process everything that’s going on and shit like... there’s a reason why it’s a popular major! This shit is relevant at all times and yet the school I went to only offered a class that made me want to rip my head off

Fellow trans people I know it feels like everyone can tell you're trans but so many cis people have fucking blinders on and will not perceive the openly trans person starting and responding to hormones in real time while working with you. Like I'm wearing my pronoun pin every day and twice now people have started talking about the strange and mysterious phenomenon of People Who Change Genders while I'm standing right there and I'm like "I'm right here" and they're like "what? We're not talking about you" and then when you reveal that you're trans they react with absurdly overdramatic shock that 1. A trans person exists In The Real World, In Their Place Of Work and 2. They have been interacting with this person as if they were a normal human being this whole time!!! You were TRANS?????
