Godric’s Hollow, Devon, is the epitome of a small town. The handful of teens living there spend their summer at Evans’s coffee bar, thinking wistfully of Marlon Brando and Marilyn Monroe, and getting on with life. That is, until a motorcycle gang roll into town and stride into Evans’s as if they own the place.

“Say,” the voice came closer than Remus expected, and he looked up to see the boy leaning casually against the bar, his friends waiting a few feet away. He was glancing around the room and Remus found himself holding his breath to see those eyes close up. Remus bit his lip and waited for him to continue, wondering if he would even be able to speak if he were asked a question. “There any places to stay around here? We’re here for a while.” Then his eyes finally landed on Remus and they were even brighter close up, smiling and warm and piercing all at once. “Um.” Remus willed himself not to stutter. “McGonagall has a B&B, j-just… just down the road.” Next to him, Peter set down his magazine and watched the greasers too. He saw Lily pause at the sinks and try to watch them out of the corner of her eye, but Remus knew, he could see her listening. The quicksilver boy - Sirius, that was his name - smiled and Remus thought for a second he might go blind with the brightness of it. It made the ache in his joints fade away. “Thanks, uh-” “Remus,” he supplied, before realising that it was probably a ridiculously stupid idea to give the greaser his name. He probably hadn’t even been asking for it and Remus had jumped the gun but his heart was beating a mile a minute. But the boy just smiled wider. “Remus, I’m Sirius.” When Remus couldn’t quite make the words come, Sirius smiled and took a breath. “Well, it’s been unreal, Remus. See you around?” Remus just managed to nod before Sirius turned and strolled out of Evans’s with his gang.

Wolfstar Big Bang is finally here!! This fic was an utter labour of love, and I am so honoured to have worked with @tonftyhw and wrote a fic for this AMAZING art work (isn’t it gorgeous!? please go tell her so!). This work is maybe one of my most favourite things I’ve ever written and I hope you like it too!

Sirius Black/Remus Lupin E rated • 10k • alternative universe: canon divergence • post first war with Voldemort • post break up • getting back together • James and Lily live • Peter Pettigrew goes to Azkaban • Smut • Pov Remus Lupin  Summary: “I was hoping you might be waiting for me.” His tone is light and friendly, but Remus isn’t fooled.  “I stopped for a smoke.” He wonders, though. Was he unwittingly waiting for Sirius? In the last eight years, there had been countless smoke breaks, quick trips to grab another wine bottle, rendezvous to decide James’ birthday gift, that dissolved into a sloppy snog or a quickie. It didn't happen every time Sirius was back in the country, but it was close enough.

Author’s notes:

As a non-native English, this was such a big deal for me. For years I followed Big Bangs in this and other fandoms, resigned to be only a bystander (not that I don't love to read and cheer! I do!), never an active participant. So I'm extremely happy to be part of this Big Bang: I got to stretch my wings, challenge myself and collaborate with the wonderful @blood-suits-and-tears. This story is a labour of love, and even if it isn't perfect, I really tried and poured my heart out in it.

Summary: Remus knows everything there is to know about himself. Really.

Preview: “You’re going the wrong way,” Sirius said, reaching out to grab Remus’ arm, and pulled him hard to the right when Remus would have stayed straight. He stumbled against Sirius’ side and looked up in surprise, his arm hot and tingling with new awareness under Sirius’ touch, but Sirius’ hand fell away and he looked unaffected by the contact, the grim line of his mouth and the set of his shoulders unchanged from a moment before.

After all, Remus reminded himself, just because Sirius liked blokes didn’t mean he suddenly liked Remus. In fact, he must not. It wouldn’t make any sense.

Ahhhhhhh I can finally gush about this AMAZING 50s fic!

@jennandblitz is such a fantastic author and she gives such an amazing view of this 50s life.

I could picture everything so clearly, always a sign of an exceptional author.
