like I know there's been some complaints about it, but personally I LOVE the concept of monsters that prey on humans, learning to manipulate humans through speech, and obviously mirroring their appearances.

I just love the idea that they're only following their instincts and that bit, where the demon child admits that they know certain words like mother will get them spared for just a short while longer because of human compassion? Fucking amazing, S-tier, please give me more
