school years over WOOOOOOO to celebrate i drew some of my characters from Visible Spectrum in the style of Killer Cupid, my junior film!

The film isn't quite ready to share yet, but it's damn well close! Firstly - where have I been? Work REALLY picked up in a way I wasn't expecting over the last...4 months? I was working double and often triple the hours I was used to. With work, vacations, random illnesses, and many video games I got a bit too obsessed with, this blog took a backseat. Plus, sometimes I get disinterested in vore when obsessed with something else. Sometimes, that lasts months, and it did this time.

But now I can confirm that work will FINALLY chill for a long period of time. I'm free! And more motivated than ever! Wahoo! Thanks for your support ALWAYS.

Next big question - when am I going to do more of my story? The one with Asyr? AHHHHHGHHGHH this story has consumed my life. I think about it daily. I dream about it. And yet I'm not as comfortable writing as I am drawing, so writing is a slow process that my perfectionist ass struggles with. I can assure you that there is a story in the works - and I am working on it at a snail's pace.

We're going back so far that I think this is about my naga oc (which I'm in the midst of redesigning cough cough). For him, he would never tolerate being prey, extremely unwilling bahaha. In general, I haven't thought much about naga or snake prey! I get the appeal of slurping up a noodle, but I just prefer human prey :)

DRABBLE GAME | MASTERLIST

Jongin and Chanyeol found themselves in a familiar place they hadn’t been to in years.

‘We really did jump,” Chanyeol said in awe, taking in the old bar they would frequent when they were much younger adults than they were now.

Jongin felt jittery, like this wasn’t right. He had been told that his power could do much more than allow him to travel the world. He could travel dimensions, travel other worlds….

And time travel apparently.

He had no idea where exactly they were. Suho had told him to think of a time before shit hit the fan, before they lost everything.

“Excuse me,” Chanyeol called to a bartender. “Silly question, but what’s the date today?”

The bartender took him in wearily. Probably wondering if he needed to be cut off or not.

“Please,” he pressed. “It’s important.”

She sighed. “It’s the fifth of September. Twenty eighteen.”

“Twenty eighteen,” Chanyeol repeated with wide eyes, locking them with Jongin. “Bro, you fucking did it.”

“That’s too far back,” Jongin said between clenched teeth. He was aiming more towards 2021. Three years before The Attack.

“But there’s a reason why you sent us here.”

Chanyeol may be right about that, but he couldn’t understand it himself. The reasoning behind this specific time, this specific spot.

But then he heard a recognizable laugh and all the color drained from his face.

Chanyeol heard it too, throwing him a look full of warning. But Jongin ignored it, walking deeper into the dim building in search of the voice.

At a table, surrounded by a group of familiar faces, he saw the reason why he brought himself back here.

You.

The love of his life. The one who sacrificed everything that day. The one he lost.

You were there. Alive. Laughing. Unaware of the journey you were about to embark, of how drastically the world was going to change.

You were the reason why he even attempted to time travel.

He took a step towards the table, but then Chanyeol had him pressed against a wall, his forearm dug into Jongin’s neck.

“We don’t know what will happen if we interact with them,” he hissed. “We’re here to observe. To search for the red force. To discover the traitor.”

Jongin’s eyes were frantic as he tried to look at you again. “They’re here. The traitor is sitting at that table as we speak!”

“Yes,” Chanyeol agreed gravely. “With your wife. Your dead wife.” Jongin went still in his grip. “Shit, we might already be here. What’ll happen it we bump into our younger selves?”

Jongin wasn’t sure. He didn’t understand how any of this stuff worked. He just knew that it did. But, he couldn’t accept Chanyeol’s words yet. He searched his memories, wondering if he had met you, by now. But, you hadn’t. It wouldn’t be for a moment still.

“We’re not. I haven’t.” He swallowed thickly, which was hard to do with Chanyeol’s arm still pressed against his neck. “I haven’t met her yet.”

Chanyeol sighed. “This isn’t a good idea, Jongin.”

“Please, just let me see her,” he begged. “It’s been over a year, Chanyeol. I promise I won’t do anything, but I need to talk to her. I need to hear her voice again. I….”

He was so messed up without you. A ghost of the man he used to be. He swore he died the same night you did. Chanyeol saw that. Saw what the loss had done to his partner.

It was reluctantly, but he let him go, ignoring the relieved smile that bloomed on Jongin’s face. He pointed at him. “No funny business. We have a mission. We have to stick to it.”

“And we will,” Jongin was quick to say. “But for today, let’s just be normal, while we still can. This is the only peace we’ll ever get again. Let’s enjoy it.”

Chanyeol took in the bar that no longer existed in their timeline. Took in the smells and voices, and Jongin saw just how tired his friend was. How the war had drained him. He’d lost just as many people, had suffered just as much.

“Okay,” Chanyeol fully relented. “Let’s order some drinks.”

After getting a couple drinks, the two of them made their way over to the table you were sat at. Jongin couldn’t take his eyes off of you. You were even more beautiful than he remembered, nearly glowing under the yellow lights ahead.

“Mind if we join?” He asked, looking nowhere else but at you.

“Oh?” Another girl at the table, your best friend he realized, said. She took in the tall handsome men. “We could really enjoy the company.”

Jongin wasted no time sliding into the empty chair beside you, thankful for that. He sat a cup in front of you and you studied it for a brief moment before braving a sip.

Your eyebrows raised when it hit your taste buds.

“This is my favorite. How did you know?”

He grinned knowingly at you. “I could tell you were a woman with class.”

You laughed breathlessly at that, a bit intimidated under his intense stare. Still, he was ridiculously handsome—handsome enough to ignore the red flags. So, you introduced yourself.

“Jongin.” He held onto your hand and nearly sobbed at the familiar contact. When you went to pull away, he refused to let go. You giggled before shyly turning back to your drink.

Chanyeol cleared his throat, and Jongin remembered himself, finally letting your hand go.

He took in the others at the table. There were three girls and two men, including you. The men he recognized instantly as Kyungsoo and Baekhyun.

It was one of them, the traitor. The one who gave the Red Force their plans, leading to the attack that changed everything, that killed Jongin’s wife.

No. He wouldn’t think about that right now. Not when he had you back.

“So, you come here often?” Your best friend, Kim Jiwon, asked. Jongin was suspicious of her as well. She was a lousy friend, and was rather close to Kyungsoo. She also disappeared after the attack.

Chanyeol and Jongin locked eyes.

“We do,” Chanyeol said, sipping the brown drink he had ordered for himself. He closed his eyes as it coated his tongue, savoring the old taste he once enjoyed.

“Usually after work. A little treat after a hard day.” Jongin supplied.

“We do too!” You said excitedly. He fought his smile at your joy. That was something you would always say everytime you ended up at the bar.

“Oh?” He played off. “What is it that you do?”

“We’re engineers,” Baekhyun spoke up. “We work for the government. We build—”

“Planes,” Kyungsoo interrupted.

Jongin lifted an eyebrow at you, questioning the legitimacy of Kyungsoo’s answer. You shrugged. “You can say that.”

The night continued on. The table went round for round on drinks. Jongin was finding himself getting drunk for the first time in years. He was never much of a drinker to begin with, but today he needed all the alcohol he could get.

“I’ll have the Flying Dutchmen,” he ordered to the waitress, who rolled her eyes at the mostly juice drink. “And my wife here will have another Pink Lady.”

Chanyeol kicked his leg. He pouted.

You tilted your head curiously. You were pressed so close to him, he could feel your chest rise and fall against his arm. “Your wife? You know, that’s the third time you’ve called me that tonight.”

“Is it?” he asked, falling more into your space. You allowed him.

“Yeah,” you smirked up at him. “Why is that?”

“Because,” he slurred, nose touching yours. “I’m gonna marry you one day.”

“You don’t even know me,” you pointed out, but he caught how breathless you sounded, how warm your face grew.

He hummed. “Not now maybe, but I already know that I love you.”

You watched him for a moment, appearing very sober as you wondered if this was okay. If he meant what he was saying, and wasn’t being a creep. Gorgeous be damned. Telling a stranger you loved them was definitely a red flag.

You swallowed thickly. “Love? That’s…that’s a serious word.”

He nodded slowly, staring at the sensual shape of your mouth. God, he wanted to kiss you. He wanted to show you just how much he loved you, to tell you he never stopped. Ever.

“And I’m very serious when it comes to you.” His tone revealed as much.

Your drinks arrived, and to his satisfaction, you didn’t turn away from him. “Prove it.”

And maybe it was the drinks that made you so bold. Or it was the way the handsome stranger looked at you. There was… a sadness in his eyes. A sadness and a devotion that you found both startling and intriguing.

He went to do just that. His lips brushed against yours when his friend called his name. A reminder.

“Maybe it’s time to go,” his friend—Chanyeol, you recalled—suggested.

“But we just got our drinks,” Baekhyun whined.

“At least finish those first. We have to go soon too. Work in the morning.” You laughed awkwardly under the weight of the tall man’s gaze.

“One more drink,” he said, but his attention was on the man beside you, who couldn’t seem to focus on anything other than you.

He was a bit more solemn than a moment ago. He didn’t reply, instead lifting his drink and clinking it against your own before chugging it empty.

“Jongin!” You gasped, disappointed that he finished it so quickly. Was he that eager to leave you?

He shivered before getting to his feet. Not even gracing you with a goodbye before he was heading to the door.

“We’ll take care of the bill,” Chanyeol said as he followed his friend.

No. There was no way you were going to let the man who just told you he was going to marry you walk away without even a goodbye.

“Wait!” You called after them, running past Chanyeol to grab Jongin’s sleeve.

He stopped walking immediately. The men shared a glance as Chanyeol walked past, but didn’t say anything.

Finally, he turned to you.

“Will I see you again?” You couldn’t help but ask. It was unlike you to chase after a man, but Jongin was different. You could tell.

He threw a look over his shoulder, at Chanyeol, and then grabbed your face, pulling you in to kiss you.

You had never felt something like this before. You wrapped your arms around his neck, holding him close to you as he kissed you as if a man reunited with a lover after being torn away from them. Like he wanted you.

Like he loved you.

When he finally pulled away, with difficulty on both parts, there were tears in his eyes.

“I’ll see you soon,” was all he was able to get out before he stormed out the door.

You swore you saw him vanish into thin air before it closed.

Am I the only one who is a little sad that the moment Trixie was single she didn't take a second look at Katya and immediately went to the ex? She could've given her a chance. And I wonder how K really feels now that she wants kids. I know she doesn't want them herself, but I'm afraid this will change things between them and I really really hope they don't.

ugh okay first of all: im totally w u and i a 100% see ur point. these have crossed my mind too, and i can easily get to a place where these topics make me sad for a while. but genuinely i dont think we should worry too much abt any of it. at the end all i want is for them to be happy, no matter how that looks like🤝

on a further note, we cant be like *actually* sure abt any of what is going on? like yes it seems pretty clear, and it might as well be exactly as we think it is, its all spelled out, isnt it? its really just that we were the ones who spelled it out, and not T, or any other person who is practicipating in the situation. all im saying is that i wouldnt advise anyone to bet on whats going on w T rn (if for nothing else then just out of respect), and im sure eventually we will hear either a confirmation or a fully different story that will clear things up.

specualtion is free tho, and also pretty interesting, so as long as we keep it kinda hush-hush i think its okay that we entertain ourselves w these anecdotes. like im totally in, and i do think *the* ex is now truly an ex, like that much id even dare to place a bet on. the rest is just questionmarks😭😭😭 like i could see this new guy being actually something, or just a rebound-fling, or just a friend(?). and its also possible that he is the old ex, and then i do have even more questions, but the bar is under a frog's ass after the last guy, so im appriciative towards anyone who is slightly better than him, and it would appear to be a true challenge to be worse than him💀 sooo idk i do believe yall that that guy on the pics is really old KY guy, im just not sure if they r friends or fwb or dating or a secret fourth option? doesnt matter as long as T is okay and having fun. Ts literal god? im not so sure, but only time will be able to tell wtf has been going on.))

i see ur concern, and yeah change is fucking scary, especially if such comforting things change. but u see, this could be exactly one of their hangups too. things keep changing no matter what, all we can do is hope they both r okay and happy and nice parts of each other's lives.

i understand that T keeps speaking abt wantimg kids, and sure, pop off! but like, i reaaaally doubt she would be actually having kids this year? like i feel like its maybe a new thing for her to think of having kids as an actual possibility she considers for her future, thus she speaks abt it openly since its one of the things she is interested in now! but like, having a kid is not this quick of a process, even a pregnancy takes 9 months😭😭 and also im pretty sure that her life isnt at a place where she could pick up a kid tomorrow and just go on and be her best self as a parent and i feel like she must be aware of that? T and K would both be at least okay parents, thats for sure!! but like, considering Ts past year... yeah i dont think it will be such a quick happening. once, in a few years, sure! even in 2, why not! but not tomorrow. she'd do fine as a single parent, she'd do fine w a partner, it will be fine, just really not as soon as some ppl r concerned it might be😭 let her just get that birdie first, i think that could be a logical and nice next step!

finally, i really dont think K would have such a problem w children? (even if she did, dont u think shed make an exception for T? im pretty sure she'd do almost anything for/with T.) like she absolutely adores her nephew as far as i know, so im certain she wouldnt delete T's contact info if/when she had a kid. im pretty sure T wouldnt block Ks number either just bc she became a parent, she also seems to know how nice K is to kids despite not necessarily getting them (see: her gifting a lot of money to her nephew's, like, 4th bday? but i could argue that thats a great gift, just more long term great😭). and what if T gets that kid and eventually calls K for help (more likely for herself and not the kid, but this is besides the point), and then K does help, and then they spend even more time together with this newfound excuse, and they realise how well they function as a family, and then they can finally move in together and be lesbians and be disgustingly in love and live happily ever after??? what then???? anyways, my point is that even if they r in a tiny bit of a divitation i highly doubt it would be due to T wanting a kid. i think its more that they both were afraid during T's break that if they reached out more they would annoy the other one, bc "omg what if she needed a break from me too???" (like. T needed a break from her god. and K needed a break from the person who tethers her to this earth. sure jan. emotionally they do have some challenges, thats certain!). and maybe they need to drift a bit apart to then get back together and be even closer (if that is scientifically even possible). things arent as linear and easy as we would like them to be, and since our perspective is and outside one, im pretty sure that from their pov it seems or at least feels sooooo much more complicated. while i just sit on the floor and go "just date ffs its not that hard!!4!4 look back footage of ur faces while u look at eachother!!! thats all u need!!44!", and we r both right! it is very complicated but it could also be manageable. (what i think might be more painful here is if T has the kid w a partner, bc that seems pretty, uh, *certain*, or unchangable, final? obvi its not ***that*** drastic, but it is a bigger deal. so yeah, but i stand by my op that none of this will happen in the blink of an eye, we'll see as it unfolds ig and hope for smth real nice)

I was positively SHAKING in bed when i read it last night, it left me IN SHAMBLES (⁠╯⁠°⁠□⁠°⁠）⁠╯⁠︵⁠ ⁠┻⁠━⁠┻

I've been meaning to comment in more detail on every chapter, and just list up everything little detail and exchange i love, but after the current chapter i had TO COME HERE FIRST to send an Ask!!

I am SO HAPPY to see Off the Hook and the Squid sister and Splatoon hanging out, and knowing that sweet, brave Eight is in good, caring hands now 🥺 they deserve the world, and their genuine admiration and trust in Octavio had me 🥹 it was so cathartic to see Marina have the heart to heart she needed with her former leader as well, even if they don't agree with everything, Octavio's growth already showed a teeeny tiny bit in him, reluctantly, agonizingly, agreeing with Marina and making that promise to her (and by extension, to Eight and all of his people)

I don't know what you have planned for the next chapter, i know this one's gonna be tricky since it has to essentially fill in the void between game 2 and 3, but man!!! I really really really hope that, despite all of the baggage and anger and yelling, Octavio can find some solace, something to hold onto, in the genuine hope and trust that Eight, Callie, and Marina put in him, in spite (or because?) of everything 🙏 he's gonna have another tough road ahead of him, but i believe in this stubborn, clever, spiteful old man 🐙 he has fucked up many times before, but i believe he will try his best to keep his word, if only to not let the people down that put their trust in him (maybe that's hust me being delulu and naive tho agsjshdjfhgfd)

My god that ENDING tho!!! The leaky roof has CRASHED DOWN metaphorically, and it's really lucky that Octavio jumped the heck outta there because i would NOT want to be at the camp after all that!

There's poor Callie, probably having a small breakdown rn, and Cuttlefish, who let some /real nasty/ things slip out there (granted, that was mostly the result of being spurred on and goaded by Octavio to be his worst self, i think) that i can't rly see Marina and Eight just... overlook, tbh (especially after he also pulled that whole past identify reveal on Marina in the Metro, which could have potentially ended very, very poorly)... the only thing i can say is that, yeah youre spot on about it being tricky and having to bridge that gap! i don't have any plans to change the actual plot points that happen in the games themselves, excluding whatevers gonna happen for the s3 dlc which we essentially know uh. nothing about! we're currently still on track to be following the story modes' outlines. (but as soon as we get off of that track? hooh boy ive got some silly ideas >:))

Not everyone's the same, so if you were the shy soft streamer who does more art streams or something akin to a podcast, you can bet that Lucifer will be putting you on while he works, he kinda knows your streaming schedule at this point and if you were running late, he'd force one of his brothers to take over your dish washing duties or any chores you were stuck with

If you were the loud obnoxious meme type, hed still try to watch out of curiosity, and as much as he appreciates that you were getting comfortable here in Devildom with how you laugh and joke around, he still can't approve of it. Last of The Starks aka D&D SUCK

Be warned, I didn’t rewatch this episode because I didn’t want to (lol) but after thinking about it more I have a lot to say.

I want to touch upon the misogynistic writing in this episode because you could TELL it was written by men. We had to watch:

Sansa, a rape victim tell Sandor that being raped made her stronger.

Dany, who fought on the battlefield, not get any credit but Jon is praised for riding a dragon for 0.5 secs

Brienne, begging for Jaime to stay after he took her virginity

Varys, say MALE heir like that means shit

Misssandei, a black woman who was a slave having to get her head chopped up in chains to progress Dany’s arc.

All of these things were disgusting to watch and made NO SENSE!! 

Sansa would NEVER say that Ramsay and Joffrey made her stronger. She would say something like life is not a song, that she deserved better but she does like the new her. but also reminding the audience that didn’t have to happen to her for Sansa to become the woman she is today. 

I understand Dany being isolated from the North because she is the Dragon Queen and they want Northern Independence HOWEVER, this woman who fought on a dragon when jon wanted to wait, who picked up a sword and fought with her fellow soldier, gets NO credit??? NONE?? It’s just oh cool jon you rode a dragon dudee and burnt them all. BRO WHAT? Story wise it makes no sense too because Tormund saw Dany save them in s7. Jon isn’t the first one to do it all so....what is the truth?

Varys has always been this shady character and I know that motherfucker is a Blackfyre but him saying male heir shows he is also only considering Jon because he is male. It makes no sense too cuz well Varys has no cock lol and s5/6 he was ROOOOTING for Dany. HE was the one to push Tyrion to believe in her and for what?

You can like Missandei/Dany rl in the books/show but its problematic. I’m happy Dany saved her but Missandei still chose to work under Dany and that leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Missandei is also Dany’s trusted advisor but we never see that and now Missandei, a former slave, the ONLY black woman in the show has to get her head cut off in CHAINS, her last words being Dracrys just so the audience can be like ‘dany is right to burn KL to the ground’. It’s just horrible they used a woc for that stupid trope. JESUS. 

Even if George told D&D that Dany is going to burn some shit down cuz heart in conflict with itself, villain is a hero on the other side blah blah (im tired & grrm is problematic but that’s another discussion), d&d should have wrote it better. 

Then you have Brienne cry over Jaime’s dick? REALLY? Jaime has never been on a redemption arc! A character can grow, a character can do some humane things after doing some fucked up shit but doesn’t mean they are going to turn into this shining fucking knight. I would have preferred Brienne just being angry at Jaime more than her begging him. WHY? 

Oh, I forgot, so we have this scene where Dany begs Jon to keep his identity a secret. I hate this scene on so many fucking levels. 

First off it paints Dany in a bad light imo. Dany begging Jon didn’t come off has romantic or so they can live at peace. It came off has I want the IT to myself.  And I can’t even argue with people who say it had underlying themes of toxic relationships because if the TABLES WERE REVERSED, and Jon was asking Dany to do that shit, internet would be in shambles. There would be articles EVERYWHERE about how Jon is abusing Dany adjhjkdhdjk.

 Although, I have seen people say she is protecting Jon? But...the scene didn’t come off like that. Especially since the scene before you saw her POV of seeming out of place, paranoia, jealously. Whether we like it or not D&D are planting those seeds. And I understand what Dany is saying about people will want Jon on the throne but also not telling anyone isn’t protecting Jon? 

It’s just another secret weighing on top of him like it did Ned, that would eat him inside out. And from Jon’s POV I would have understood if he was like bitch what lmaoo? Cuz you KNOW the history of Targaryens. Not saying Dany would kill Jon but if there was some scenario like no one would know the truth. And it ISNT the same how Ned kept Jon’s identity a secret because Jon would have died from Robert’s hand. So far from what I see no one wants to kill Jon cuz is a Targ. Cersei does cuz he is a Stark. 

The truth of the matter is Jon’s parentage only affects Dany negatively. If you want to view it has a tragic love story for them? Sure, but my Ravenclaw senses are still like nah keeping it STILL after Robert is dead isn’t protecting Jon. It’s protecting Dany because he is a threat to her CLAIM.

Again, if you want to be like FUCK JON SHE ASKED ONE THING FROM HIM! Sure, go for it. 

Also, I would rather Dany not get on her fucking knees and beg fucking Jon too. Are you KIDDING ME? She doesn’t need to beg Jon for shit! What has Jon done? She’s been more a True Targaryen than him, fuck Jon! But this is another thing D&D can’t write fucking conflict. They just can’t. This story between Jon and Dany should be MORE. But its not going to be. Its just going to be Dany going mad cuz she is a woman and lost her bff blah. That's it. 

Then what Sansa did was SO Littlefinger but I am going to roll my eyes when Jon is mad at her because in s7 Jon Snow couldn’t even lie to Cersei. *mimics Jon* This man told a speech to Tyrion about how lying is WRONG and just causes more drama for the realm. BUT NOW because your auntie-girlfriend asked you to keep your identity a secret, you want Sam, and the Starklings to keep it to the grave. Especially when  the secret isn’t putting him in DANGER. He also sold Dany out because before he was like YOU GOTTA PROMISE. DO YOU NOT KNOW SANSA? ONCE THE TEA SPILLED SIS KNEW DANY MOST LIKELY BEGGED U NOT TO  TELL DUMBASS! 

And now you’re going to be mad at Sansa Finger (TeflonTV made up that nickname not me lol) for PLAYING THE GAME OF THRONES, to protect Starks/North HMMM VERY INTERESTING. (im done roasting jon but s8!jon sucks sm omg-)

With Sansa this episode it isn’t even surprising she told Tyrion. She knew he would tell Varys. She wants Dany off that throne because Dany rejected Northern Independence. It’s that simple. And I know people are calling Sansa a bitch and a traitor but to me it isn’t being a traitor towards Jon, she is betraying DANY. Like people keep saying oh she betraying Jon. No, you’re not getting it. She is betraying Dany who she probably doesn’t even think she is committing treason against because she isn’t Queen of Westeros YET. 

And not to go on another fucking rant. But yall hate when Sansa was submissive and not say shit but oh now she playing the game and its affecting your favs now you’re mad?? oookay, and I have mentioned this before. If Robb was alive do you  think he would really be siding with Jon/Dany? Robb we’re not bending the knee Stark? Sansa is finishing what Robb started, she is just being cunning so the North gets what they wants/House Stark comes out on top at the end.

ALRIGHT i’d like to preface that this is most likely gonna be really rambly (mostly due to excitement), but i promise that some questions will be sprinkled here and there as well, just bear with me LMAO ANYWAYS

with that out the way, i just finished reading all the chapters you’ve released of Cracked Snowglobes so far, and WOW you’ve done such an amazing job with it!! seriously, the way you’ve characterized everyone, especially octavio, just makes my heart sing. i feel like nintendo’s slept on developing octavio within splatoon’s story modes when there’s SO much available that they could work with, so reading your interpretation is such a fresh breath of air. what inspired you to write it from his perspective?

also, i love how splatoon’s silliness and flair is still present without interrupting the genuine and heartfelt scenes; the story naturally ebbs and flows (sorry not sorry :)) between the two wonderfully, it’s really a treat to read. speaking of the pacing, you’ve done the cuttletavio content SO WELL. i really appreciate the seeds you’ve planted throughout the story, because it creates a solid foundation for their relationship to grow from and, well, make their development believable! after all, the two of them have been through a LOT, so it makes sense that’d it take a while to work through it all.

what inspired you to write it from [octavio's] perspective? ok well funnily enough, you sort of answered your own question, (at least, the second half of what my reasoning is lol,) in the paragraph before you even asked it nintendo has ABSOLUTELY slept on octavio's more indepth nuances, i totally agree! i think to fully contextualize why i chose to write his perspective specifically, i do need to let myself be a little smug and say that i just so happened to revisit and reread Dissonant Melody in its entirety this summer, long before the b-sides were ever being posted. it. oh my god it fuckign awoke something in my brain and gave me cuttletavio brainrot BAD up until the new game was released and even then that absolutely did NOT help considering how our beloved dj got such an awesome spot in the limelight during the final boss. to summarize, though, i decided to stick with his pov partly because i felt i was not alone in my own personal sentiments over him and how silly and interesting of a guy he is, that others would also probably enjoy to see his pov, (as well as the octarian pov as a whole,) quite a lot. the other part is just that i had baaad brainrot and also that he is so silly and i wanted to write him interacting w cap'n more. bc, again, nintendo!!! youre sleeping on these two!!!! quit making us writers and artists do all the work for you tell us what they were like before the war!!!

ok i said i wouldnt repeat myself over and over again thanking you but!!! ahhh im so glad that the humorous beats i wrote landed. ive genuinely always been someone who cannot handle something serious without it being just a little silly and goofy on the side, just to make it feel. believable i guess? that the world isn't as dark as it sometimes seems? that and just. most people who know who i am as a person know where a lot of my influences lie and that a lot of it is in comedic source material, so there's that as well.

what have you learned about yourself while writing this fic? did of any scenes leave you stumped on how you were gonna approach it? i am going to lump these two questions together bc i think my answer will go hand in hand. i have been very much humbled to the fact that i am naught but a humble young adult who has yet to truly drop the young part and quote, unquote, "grow up" as they say. …by which i mean; my scope of the world is very very limited, and for as much research as i am able to do about a fictional, sci-fi-esque, futuristic society dominated by evolved mollusks, there is just as much real life experience that i feel would change the entire trajectory of this fic, were i to have it under my belt. perhaps some future plot points i have prewritten would theoretically play out much differently? perhaps some characters would be characterized differently, leading to said different plot points? perhaps, we will never know… perhaps, though, there are some experiences that i will never feasibly be able to live through to then incorporate into my writing. like living for over a century to reunite with my scorned, ex-whatever the hell these two are! specifically addressing the second question with that in mind, i can say, without spoilers, that there is indeed a scene that i'm working on right now funnily enough that is. stumping me quite a bit. i'll let your mind and the context i provided before to fill in the blanks on what could possibly be in store that i'm trying to figure out how to approach next.

what’s your greatest strength and weakness as a writer? and lastly, what’s your favorite scene you’ve written so far? i'll group these last two questions together as well because i have both a short and a long answer to at least part both of them; DIALOGUE!!!! i adore writing dialogue so much i love it when characters interact and say things and when i am able to study and practice their vocal quirks and nuances in such a way that it paints not just a picture of two plot devices talking to move the story along, but two very much matching or opposing sides to a discussion that has been thoroughly baked into the narrative. that and i like making nintendo characters say things that the NA localizers would never have the balls to make them say. not just in a swearing way but in an actually natural and not trying-and-failing-to-be-hip-with-the-kids type of way. (sorry NA team i still love yalls work but sometimes it doesnt seem like yall even read the JP text at all </3) to answer the second half of the question though, i do think that my weakness is feeling a bit too comfortable writing dialogue and the like. as someone who got got their start in writing from roleplaying online, whether as canon characters or ocs, i can say for certain that it is physically impossible for someone to perfectly mimic how a character acts in canon, down to a T. you can absolutely get close, don't get me wrong! but everyone's always going to view their fave or their muse in a different light than how someone else views them. humans are perfectly imperfect, and the things that we create and put out into the world are equally such. there are most definitely a lot of times where i will let my own preferences and biases for how a scene should play out cloud my judgement, and, as a result, i write myself into a future plot hole when it comes to consistent characterization. still love dialogue though <3 speaking of things i love! that last question… hmm… i think i had the most fun writing callie's final scene in chapter 3, but genuinely everything that involved the octarians in chapter 2 is a close close close second! esp stella's little scene. i talked about this a little bit in the comments on ao3, but, without spoilers i can absolutely promise yall that she is coming back. she has evolved from just a side character to my dear sweet little scrumply munchkin she is my scrimblo. sorry shes just really fun to think about and im excited to write her more </3

Hello, I’m so sorry it took me so long to answer this babe! I am so, so glad you enjoy my fics though! An update for awom is coming [REDACTED] so !!!!! yeah !!! As for a writing method, I…. am a bit dodgy LMAO. It changes often, like how much time and detail I’ll give each bit, but there’s a usual process I do.

First I usually just have the concept/idea– even a scene or au or something– and then if I like it enough I see if I can expand it a little. Not really to plot just yet, but to add more details and depth. It is usually after the idea has more substance that I have enough to start building a loose plot.The order changes, but after I have the concept I either usually world-build some more or go into a bare-bones plot. And I mean, bare bones. Like a linear thing of all the important plot points.

Once I have those, I expand and start plotting chapters with scenes I want and the important plot points. I usually aim to have them completely plotted out, but so long as the first few are plotted out I sometimes start writing at that point LMAO I am a little impatient sometimes.

So yeah thats a rough explanation for you! I feel like there’s more but I can’t remember rn, I’m sure it’ll hit me later lmaoo !! I hope this is clear enough! then again the process itself isnt even that clear to me so fhdbgjhbf WE DOIN OUR BEST OUT HERE

So update ive been talking around and wow this game loves looking at my allies and kicking them in the kneecaps while spitting in their eyes ugh. So nash is probably leaning towards nomming jake and Gina with gina as the target (really weird that jake is nommed makes me think jacob had some influence there) but in that scenario best case is that veto is used and anyone but josh goes up and that person leaves easy fucking peasy!! today, we are feeling GOOD because the person we nominated just a few days ago won power and STILL didn't nominate me. is that iconnery or what? i was honestly ready for my ass to be TOAST but i did approach nash before they won HOH and had a conversation about where we stood and they said i would be OKAY this week bc we did start talking. we love to see it, yes we do!

the nominees this week are gina and brianna and.. even though i'm in two different alliances with both of them, i'm not mad at either of them going up. i don't REALLY talk with either and i'd be happy to see either one of them go. the tricky part will be figuring out WHO to vote when the time comes, but we have a POV to happen before we get there. we'll SEE.

if i had to choose, i'd probably send brianna home simply because i find her a bit CHAOTIC where i feel like gina isn't really going to cause a lot of waves with me. she's much more quiet whereas brianna is more likely to be able to pick herself back up.

some other fun events going on:

jake was NOT happy about nash winning and thought he was going to get nominated because of it. he was about to RIP nash a new one and is really brewing with how much he hates them. MAKES ME LAUGH A LIL BECAUSE IT WAS SO UNWARRANTED BUT NEVERTHELESS, it's something to note that jake does NOT like nash.

i think aria is my number one right now bc we get along really well and have very similar opinions. i'm really open with how i talk to her so i'm HOPING she's not spilling everything i say to someone else but i don't think she WOULD? i dunno. i love her energy and i'm hoping we can SLICE AND DICE together in the middle.

my strategy is to take my HOH under my belt and take a step back for a minute while my two alliances (one: jake, aria, gina, emma, saira, me & two: jacob, aria, brianna, kiki, me) get picked off back and forth. i'm going to see if i can craft a narrative for them to go after each other but we'll SEE. there are a lot of people in the middle i enjoy a lot more than some of the people in my alliances so IDK. i feel like some people got thrown into these alliances that i did NOT want but they were kind of forced in so i don't trust it. and i think people KNOW because i'm not very chatty abt it in the chats (and i haven't even made one of the chats. am i supposed to? idk)

So I literally just woke up from a sleep and in the space of 30 minutes have had to talk Nash out of renomming me, Emma or Jake since we've just made an alliance together so I warned her that probably wouldn't work out for us in the long run. We narrowed it down and she shortlisted Aria, Josh C, Monty & Nick, and I have spun her to try and get her to nominate Aria, because 1. I don't wanna see Josh C go up and 2. like with Brianna I feel nobody here would vote to evict Aria, and Nash wants Gina GONE (crying emoji) so I feel this was the only logical renom to suggest.

The conversation has turned back to Emma and I just really don't wanna let that happen because I do feel like she'd leave over Gina. Part of me is saying not to stick my neck out too much to save Emma but at the same time she's my number 1 in this game and I hope she'd return the favour if she was in my position.

-Jev/Jacob/Jake all played together before

-I leaked Bri's backups to Jake as well as Jacob's trio with Nash and Kiki

-nash almost backdoored jev bc he wasnt responding to her

-jev was the reason i was almost otb

-I WAS ALMOST OTB

-Josh AND Jacob both want Jake out

-Bri thinks nash's comp ability is scary

-Nash and Nick are close 

-Jacob nervous about Bri's backup leaking

So now im debating whether its morally okay for me to analyze what happened in the living room in a game sense. FBSdffan So lets run down things in chronological order and I might mention my thoughts if they arent too controversial, Nathan leaks the alliance with jev/nash/jake/emma. Eventually emma says 'i wanna know who put these thoughts in the hohs head" and nick starts to shut the discussion down which is an interesting contrast to their earlier attitude where they were very for the drama continuing, which leads me to begin they had some sort of hand in it. Nathan goes on to say he likes nash on a personal lvl which jake analyzes as a nod to a friendgroup and a mini confrontation between nathan and jake occur. I believe that part was just a misunderstanding on both parties account. Then happy discussion until Jake calls nash out for being in the diary session for too long which leads to a discussion of house guests over analyzing production and using that as a strategy which is ultimately unfair and also at this time I believe nash was going through itTM leading to their friends to be slightly defensive on their behalf (which is valid) and i after rereading things i really hope that they're okay, ultimately this leads up to frustration on Jake's part and his ultimate quit. 

I mean where do i go from here? I have the Bri's angels but that did get leaked to Emma on Jake's way out so i need to figure some way to micromanage that where i think im gonna make a emma jev alliance and work with them as a trio in the future (if gina goes) but rn i feel like this force of energy that is Bri's backups is gonna body for a bit but i think theyre gonna throw hoh leading me jev or emma to step up and body a bit. Like i think i might actually win hoh and nom nash and monty with a nick potential renom bc im BORED and nash continuing to skate by without even talking to me is not valid, and monty is so not here its like??? HEWWO??? but idk thats making big moves i may just chill a bit for now but i dont want jev and emma being targeted in the future bc theyre gonna be numbers for me and thats on PEWIOD!
