Everyone! Meet Rabido, my Rabbid OC/sona. i may not have finished my playthrough of Mario+Rabbids games but I couldn't resist making a self-indulgent OC. his lore is prone to change since yea... i don't know everything about Rayman/Rabbids lore (please be nice)

Rabido is an all-natural born Rabbid from the dream of glades. No one knows why he appears so different from other Rabbids, hell! not even Rabido knows... but does he care? no. Rabido sees himself as "one of a kind", a true show-stopper. He embraced that he was different rather than letting it deter him from shining.

Rapido owns an array of TV shows.His most popular program being a Game show that he hosts called "Raving Rabid". Contestants are brought against their will and forced to participate in a string of ridiculous yet deadly Games (most of which are rigged). Despite the highly ethical things featured within the show- the program somehow manages to be immensely popular (even outside its target audience I.E the Rabbid population )

Rabido HATES losing and He HATES competition. He feels the need to always come out on top. So naturally, when Phantom emerged, they became instant rivals. Rabido will stop at nothing to ruin the rising star's entire career. He'll deny any questions implying that he and phantom may be something more than enemies

He's a sleazy egomaniac who lacks any subtlety. Rabido is all about being BIG and LOUD. This can range from senseless violence, blinding lights or questionable choices- everything he does is to keep a captive audience, letting them hang on his every word. He is nothing without his stage.

Rabido fur is COVERED with glitter. Everywhere he goes he'll sparkle and shine whilst leaving a hard-to-clean trail behind him. Easy to say, he likes to leave a lasting mark wherever he goes...what better way to do that than with GLITTER!

Here's some information about this au so far:

This au centers around the intergalactic alien creature named "Space-ler." Later nicknamed "Star-ler."

Of course, he was the inventor of the thneed. Made millions from it. The lorax trying to stop him multiple times.. bla bla bla...

(Btw in this, au truffulas do not produce air at all. They live off of Stardust pollens.)

The truffula flower can be made into tea— however, aliens can not drink or eat anything at all. They have no organs. No form of digesting their foods. They are only pure bone, skin/meat, and hair. ^_^ if you were to cut them open. You would only see bones. If you would like to see something like that, I would be more than happy to draw it!

He could be a mix of a shark and alien. I'm the one mainly in charge of the alien features and everything. He's part of the shark ones. I might have to ask him a few things abt his sona :3 I'm not sure how to answer this

Yes, unless if you're closer to the sun or have a star nearby you, you have no form of light. But aliens don't need light. Picture this. You can see the person in front of you, but only... "White outlines?" You can't see their colors, just a shade of black with outlines of what they look like. I'm not sure if this makes sense.

This is going to be a bit disturbing. But, if a dead astronaut is found in an abandoned space shuttle, aliens can use the dead body and "harvest" it to wear the skin. When space-ler wanted to do this, he was scared at first, so he asked his brothers to do it for him.

The glowing blood is actually a cool idea! I may consider using that :3

Their are aliens with curly antennas. When I first used to make alien ocs a year ago around June, my art style was very different. Around April, I changed my art style to look like a cartoon! My art style was inspired by invader zim, Panty and Stocking, and Randy Cunningham 9th grade ninja! Which explains why my art style is blocky and stuff 😭

A wee bit my fursona for funsies!!! 2024 Update edition notes on top (The eye markings updated to be more like my older designs + the necklace)! The bottom is a drawing made before the top update that shows my fursona at all stages of design over the course of my life thus far! More rambling under the cut!

Healing really is just circling back to that funky little fursona you made in your youth boi howdy!!! Top is some doodle note's of my sona and surprise we are going back to the old eye markings (but added a slight flair more similar to the newer markings)! As well as a (optional) silver circle necklace (originally a yinyang back in the day)! The bottom drawing features all versions of my sona from the very first to the most recent right before top images version! My fursona has always kinda grown with me and I think somewhere midway between highschool till now I sidelined it a bit. I really do love my fursona though and have found a lot of joy in kinda bringing it more "back" in a sense! Hence why you'll notice my icon and whatnot features it again instead of human! Just for clarity this is very much "me" but just as some goofy sparkle cat LMAO. Honestly I've been finding a lot of joy in getting back in touch with things I used to love but in the chaos of life kinda left behind one being my old 3DS XL (I homebrewed it now hell ya)!!! I'm hoping to update my ref soon with the correct design. I also want to take my ref down a notch/simplify since I mainly just use it anyway. Alt forms of my sona are still valid (Ex. the dragon and bunny versions) but I'll prob just pop the cat form only on the ref like ol times! But yea howdy!

7. What are your favourite relationships between your OCs? (romantic or platonic!)

oh I love this question. I'll focus just on my main headworld Sparrowmage for this one since character relationships are the main focus of the story.

Ryuuji and Haru. there's a secret third character in this relationship, Jun'ichi, belonging to my girlfriend - the three end up in a polyamorous relationship (all dating each other) and Ryuuji is such a big gentle giant for Haru and she kinda teases him for it LOL. there's a lot of intricacy to the story outside of just their dating, but like. bisexual queen pulling two literal spirit boyfriends is kinda iconic. I could talk about these three all day.

speaking of Haru, she's also besties with Juji, who's friends with Jun and Ryuuji as well. they're the type of friends to do spontaneous silly things, go clothes shopping, buy snacks, talk about dramas and music, have sleepovers and do each other's nails. they are SO cute.

Benjamin and Iosefa are the two that started it all. from the beginning, Benjamin was the "main" character and Iosefa his eventual love interest. The two have a very interesting and nuanced dynamic that I'm still working out... It takes until years after they both graduate for them to get together, because Benjamin has commitment issues and Iosefa has confidence issues. But finding each other again, they both saw how much the other had grown, and the puppy love stage they were in at Sparrowmage quickly grows into an actual relationship.

I love these two wives, Olivine and Jiya. they still need a LOT of fleshing out, but already the dynamic is lovely. Olivine is a trans femme lesbian wyverntaur, and a magical beasts professor. Jiya is a butch lesbian beastfolk who also works at the same academy as a dueling instructor/referee. Olivine is like three times Jiya's size which is the cherry on top. I NEED to draw them together (and finalize Olivine's design oops..)

honorable mention: Reuben and Lucian. these two rich boys fucking haaaate each other they HATE each other. they feud at school. it's so funny.

19. What are some things that inspired your stories? Real events? Maybe a dream?

I mainly pull from various media for worldbuilding inspiration! any narratives are inspired by my life or stories I like.. in order to nail those down I'd probably have to write an essay, so here are some media inspirations:

Sparrowmage: Harry Potter (decided I'd make a magic world of my own, as I have a lot of childhood nostalgia for the first few movies, but... yeah), Pokemon Mystery Dungeon (some of the areas like the academy being on the edge of a big cliff, giant crystal caves, etc). this is the story I've most projected my life events and relationships into

Dungeon RPG (unnamed story/world, but technically an AU for my main sonas?? I guess): Dungeon Meshi, Sword Art Online (yea. I know. look the setting and aesthetics of the first season go fucking hard and that's all I care about). I wanted a classic dungeon RPG setting to make cool areas and monsters and boss battles for. and a whole class/equipment/mount/etc system. sighs dreamily. It's not started in earnest but we're getting there.

Magica Terra: definitely Avatar. the alien planet one. I wanted to create a unique combination of sapient bipedal species (some anthros like insectoids, giants, elf- and troll-like humanoids), megafauna (giant bug creatures, draconic animals, dinosaur-like animals combined with the first two, etc) and magic (the magic system for the planet is quite literally fueled by the cosmic bodies in the same solar system and in the galaxy.. which is actually Arp's Loop. so basically what time of the orbit you're born ties you to the magic of whatever cosmic body is closest / in the most power. this includes the planet's multiple moons, the solar system's sun, recurring comets, etc)

Arp's Loop: it's a space bounty adventure with eldritch horror undertones. Lilo & Stitch, Space Dandy, Interstellar and probably some Star Wars thrown in, just with the alien design though

22. What are all the “kinds” of writing/art you do? (short stories, poetry, screenplays, digital, painting, clay, etc.)

Digital art for business mostly, traditional for fun ONLY. I scrapbook, doodle, very rarely paint.. I don't do any 3d art, I don't have the finesse really. occasionally I'll write poetry on my phone. short stories and blurbs featuring my OCs. I've written chapters for single-player TTRPG challenges but I'm not good at sticking to long projects so those have all been abandoned. I've written quite a few short fanfics in my day. a mini comic here and there.... I'm good at small projects cause I like the thrill of setting up and starting new things. that's probably why I have so many headworlds at this point :')

Beep Beep, trying a new sona out...

So... It's weird. I LOVE skunks. They are cute, dapper, curious little critters that have a reputation. I love they're little faces, I love the patterning of their fur, and I love just literally everything about them... Hell, Belle is a skunk for all of these reasons!

So... It made sense that maybe my fursona should be a skunk, right? I've done a whole comic about turning into one, and I absolutely adore them.

But... It just doesn't feel right. Belle served as my sona for a LONG time now, but since I've kind of come out as plural, and we've decided that she's her own person... It kinda took my sona away. So I thought "That's alright, I'll just make another skunk sona that's me!" But... it really wasn't. There's something off, or missing from it.

So the other day, as I was thinking about it, and trying to figure out where I was going with my Skunk HRT comic, I was thinking about WHAT I wanted to do... I've had some ideas, but none stuck out to me, except this idea. This is what I wanted to sketch yesterday (but had no time to do so, actually)

So the top is just a Mewtwo off of reference. I wanted to get the reference out because I wanted to be sure I could figure out how to draw a believable Mewtwo that I could then modify and push to fit what I was hoping to get. The bottom is modified with a small vision I have of... Maybe myself? I'm not sure, but I wanted to keep the skunk patterning, but get more of the form of Mewtwo in there. There are still some things that I think I'll tool around with, like maybe hair. Also adding clothing and the like.

But... Why Mewtwo? Well... It's my favorite legendary. It may be a basic "gen one-er" fave, but it's true. I've always had more of an affinity for the psychic type pokemon in general, my favorite gym leader is Sabrina (Flannery a close second, but just because she's hot), Abra was a small obsession of mine, and Mewtwo is just kinda rad.

Plus, with how powerful Mewtwo is? That gives me the freedom to really live out a few other fantasies that being a skunk wouldn't allow. Like, flying, and breathing underwater/in space. Even Transform into different things! (Since Mewtwo is based off the DNA of Mew, and Mew can transform, I don't see why not) These are things that I could feasibly see Mewtwo doing, and things that I wish I could do.

Plus, immense psychic power to help defend people? The ability to be places instantly? Be... Kind of a Superman-like character. That sounds nice too.

Anyway. A little more about the sketch. I LOVE how the angle of the head turned out. It's not perfect, but getting the underside of a head, and figuring out how necks connect and stuff is something I tend to have difficulty with, so I'm glad that it actually looks like it turned out better. Also, trying to find a way to feminize the form while not turning it NSFW is a small challenge. Not the hardest, but there is a bit of "how much can I push it before it becomes too much?" And while I know it's rather unnecessary, there's still a euphoria I get myself seeing me depicted a lot more feminine physically, and I do want to depict that. As I said, I may try adding hair, which is a major deviation from Mewtwo, but it's another euphoric thing about myself that I want to depict, but I'm not sure how it'll look, so it's possible it won't make the cut.

But yea, if you read all that. Thanks! It's weird not having a fursona, honestly. Belle has been that for so long, but now it feels weird to say that about her. So it'll be interesting to actually continue figuring stuff like this out about myself, seeing where I want to go. I have some other ideas that I might sketch out, just to see how they feel as well, but as I said, this was the most prominent one.

This one is of Ghostbur (yea dsmp I know) based off the song September by SparkyDeathCap and the lighting just HAS to be my favorite part of this. His design has changed since then but I still have no idea how I made this look so just AAAAAAA (Made Nov 30th 2020)

This is a scene based on a self-insert type of story (not finished writing but I know how it ends) between my sona Maddie and their (future) QPR partner Lyn. They are just going through it and rain is hard to draw :,). I like them both so much man (Made October 16th 2021)

Another piece of Lyn and this time Glitch! They also going through it since both came out the other side worse than they should have. For some reason this speedpaint of this got a lot more views than I am used to??? (Made Feb 16th 2023)

I saw your post, the one about meeting your past self, and that's a fair enough way to see yourself. I think trans people should be allowed to talk about ourselves however we please, and that there is no general statement that can cover all of us. For example, I'm someone who uses the "born in the wrong body” thing for myself bc its true for me, but I don't force it onto other people. Same with me using the label transsexual. Congrats on top surgery btw.

Of course! I never put my own language onto other people, and the same goes for yourself and for anyone else really. For two! Lemme talk about the boys.

Tbh I originally made my sona bc I was adopting Orel and that was it! He was my son right then and there and I just- I hated Clay so much you wouldn't believe.

It was a bit after I had drawn the Banger Hateship content 4 Clay that my feelings went from like...hateful...to ok it's a little sexual to oh shit oh fuck is he romantic? Do I (hashtag) love him? And wanna see him grow as a person? Which didn't help bc I'm pretty sure I had read this Redemption Arc fic for him so tbh I was fucked from the beginning.

So now, in canon, its just Enemies to Lovers. They don't like eachother bc of Differed Opinions but have to interact due to it being a small town.

And then they fought.

The Banger Hateship Content drawing I did is Very Canon and tends to be canon in any normal timeline (i.e. it still happens during the Divorce Pack) they fight in a bar, and then there's that...electricity. the kind you can only get from a high emotion situation and heightened adrenaline. And they're looking at eachother in 2 different ways bc Clay's like "fuck this is kinda hot" and Jack's like "Why the fuck is he looking at me like that WHY does this feel sexual???"

So now its, well we don't get along but...You Make Me Feel Something (like soulmates!) so they hang out more, in an experimental way y'know? Clay agrees to therapy, he's invited over more, ect. (Also they bang, which is only a little important)

Which, in my eyes is where the canon just ends and anything that implies a relationship is bundled into the Divorce AU I have for them.

Different can of worms! Clay gets the divorce he needs after months of failed marriage counseling (offered by yours truly) now he's free to flirt and date whomever he wants so what the fuck! Might as well do a gay little handwave to his therapist (me, I'm his therapist) shenanigans- like proposing in the middle of a bar while drunk- ensue.

a better question would be what haven’t i written g/t angst of lmao. under a readmore bc i hav a lot of examples (also a warning that things get a bit dark, i dont go into too many details tho)

my g/t novel RAS has a ton of angst, mostly involving the main characters mental health, giving her a family, absolutely ripping her from her family, plus there’s a ton of trust issues/past abuse/physical wounds. 

one of my other novels has two characters that flucuate between regular size and a few inches tall; one was purposefully left behind by her family of supernatural beings in a mass exodus, and one was deemed a second class citizen in her culture and was then abandoned by her family and later taken in by someone who only wants to use her and abuse her. both of them also go thru a lot of angst in the main plot of the story as well

annnnnd i have a novella that centers on a tiny who’s cursed with bad luck so u kno that ones full of angst

uuuh i have like one other story where a tiny’s in a continous time loop while trying to prevent their boyfriend from shattering the universe (and the tinie dies like a hundred times but they live dw) (that story also has a lot to deal with abuse and suicidal thoughts and a handful of mentally ill topics

annnnnnd i have an old rp character who’s a tiny that was crafted to be immortal so they can be utilized as a undying lab rat (which entails too much gore to talk abt here lmao but yea its not good) (also i wound up taking a few of those themes and applying them to my sona so theres that too)

i have another tiny oc who was trapped in a box for two hundred years (she’s a robot, and was casually deteriorating as the matter that made her run destroyed her from the inside out the entire time)

i have another oc who is a size shifter, her story is set in an urban fantasy and ultimately winds up being killed several times, but she also is lowkey immortal so she lives through her body tearing itself together each time. think like, reaper from overwatch, how hes constantly in pain and he cant die as long as theres even just a few cells of him left, thats p much her

OH and i have one character who’s cursed to be 3 inches tall bc she accidnetally commited manslaughter whilst drunk driving (she had Issues but worked on em since), and the few tol’s in her story also deal with some pretty heavy themes (namely ocd and drug abuse and a few other things)
