omg you’re so right about your homewrecker post. do you think that would only apply to some characters? because imagining yuji and megumi as homewreckers is kinda funny

anon….listen to me….i said AAALLLL jjk characters for a reason.

firstly, with yuuji, he sorta comes off as a bit of a simp anyways? he’s a skirt chaser….that being said, i do think he’d maybe harbor a bit of guilt for it or have this like “i know i shouldnt” mentality that he sorta ultimately ignores cause he’s overeager and he adores you.

i think if you came onto yuuji, all thoughts fly out of that poor guy’s head. doesn’t even remember you had a partner anyways….

(i also think it’s sorta hot to yuuji….since he knows he shouldn’t….)

and also i think especially if your current relationship is rocky or you’re using yuuji for emotional support…i mean to him, if he can give you some relief, hey…

i don’t think yuuji’s as malicious as a homewrecker as some. i think he’s sorta okay being the other man….way he sees it like….okay your bf can’t give you what you need, so yuuji will 🤷🤷 i think he hopes one day you’ll come to your senses but he’s got too much love for you/too much of a simp to do anything but please you and give you the love you’re missing.

now, megumi….megumi the son of gojo? megumi the son of toji?? yeah he doesn’t give a fuck he’s wrecking the relationship and his end goal is for you to be w him and your boyfriend outa the picture. far out of the picture.

you just have to be more careful with megumi because he IS jealous. and i personally think megumi is…a little Unwell. you gotta keep megumi away from your boyfriend. i’d say megumi wants to ruin his life but megumi is too straightforward for mind games or anything more subtle than just fighting him JFKDJSAK

megumi will only be the other man for so long. he doesn’t do well with competition. but trust that he will come out on top.

excerpt [timefucked 2]:

Something’s not right. Something is really not right. Wrong, that’s the word he’s looking for. Steve shuts his eyes, feeling the world beneath his feet keep spinning.

He sucks in a deep breath. Presses the palm of his hands into each of his eyes. Exhales. 

“Hey,” a voice, warm and soft and close to his ear. He didn’t even feel him crowd his space, “you doing okay?” 

Steve opens his eyes, vision taking a second to readjust to the lights in the living room. The movement of bodies, out of focus, blurring all together. He blinks one more time. Trying to get his eyes to focus. He feels sick. 

“Do you wanna get some air?” 

Suddenly, a little voice in the back of his head — not his subconscious, not the voice that lingers and looks for danger, something else, loud and clear yet muffled and distant — 

This isn’t how it happens.

WERE BEARS INFODUMP POST

I did a Wikipedia deep dive once, so that's how I came to know about Were Bears. Since I thought they were very me-core, I decided to reblog some posts featuring them. I even made a post of my own to inform more people about them, so here it is!

Why does Growler have a blue hat in the comics, but his actual toy DOESN'T? I don't know why, but I guess they wanted him to look a tad bit cooler.

Speaking of Growler, there's also this collector's edition plush of him. Not only does he howl, his eyes even GLOW as well. This iteration of Growler also has that blue cap on his normal face, so looks like it's officially made its way onto one of the toys!

There's also collector's edition versions of Grizzler, Fang, and Howler, but I'm not sure if poor Gums had one.

Speaking of Gums, why is he blue on this comic book cover, but his actual plush's fur color is PURPLE? Looks like he'll get confused with Howler, the actual blue one of the group.

I found these on the Were Bears' official website using the Wayback Machine. Grizzler's wearing a completely different shirt, and Gums is missing his cap. There's also a CGI Were Bears trailer on YouTube if you wanna watch it.

I found an image of this female Were Bear in the group, and I don't even know what her name is. I don't think she had a plush, either.

There was a Were Bears ripoff in 1991 called Beasty Bears, and it's pure plagiarism at its finest. HOW DID THEY NOT GET SUED???

They even stole three of their names, with the exception of Snarly.

Last of all, they might've been an early predecessor to Feisty Pets because of the whole "cute-to-creepy" mechanic.

starting on the anniversary collection again earlier this month, i had a realization: i don't actually remember any of simon's designs with any meaningful amount of detail (i think he's blond?? except for a remake(?) there was where he was very red). so! i thought it would be interesting to draw a version of him based on a combination of his in-game sprites and some of my feelings while playing castlevania 1. i had fun!
