if you love Christmas but also want to be kind and inclusive toward people who don't, or simply don't celebrate, here's my #1 tip.

stop lying about Christmas.

if the only "holiday" your holiday party includes is Christmas, call it a Christmas party.

if your "holiday" fandom event only uses Santa and Christmas graphics and is centered around the date of Christmas, call it a Christmas event (that is, presumably, open to non Christmas-celebrating fans).

if your "holiday" fic recs only contain Christmas fic, call it a Christmas rec list.

I was just gonna do the adult timeline zelda but im so enchanted by the idea of these two versions of the same character. People always talk about how link would be changed but never zelda.

#tloz #princess zelda #sheik #majoras mask #ocarina of time #loz redesigns round 2 #art #my art #redesigns #they had Entirely different teen years #a zelda who had to deal with the deaths of those close to her and having to be in hiding #meanwhile training up to hopefully take care of it on her own #only to seemingly doom her kingdom in the future to save another timeline from the same grief #creating this zelda who seemingly at most has one bad vision which is immedietly #confirmed by random fairy boy in the woods #and seemingly lives happily ever after?#i wish we knew more from the new timeline other than boring implications from tw-light pr-ncess #but yes i split different design element over both of them #oot zelda having shorter hair like her sheik form #while mm zelda keeps the long #also using some elements from the kid design like mm still kinda having that headband alongside the crown #the l-nks will be another post since i only have ideas for one right now

i have something to say. AI is scraping the whole internet while it learns how to string words together so it can become smart enough to take most of our jobs. it will scrape everything, read books and watch movies and videos and look at digitized forms and pictures and licenses and whatever it can find on the internet and even outside of the internet, it scrapes your work systems it reads your documents and powerpoints and emails. until they find another shiny new toy to sell to each other, the corps will keep AI alive and hungry. the future is unclear and scary and wild. all i have is art and writing and stories and sharing them with you with no motives other than because i love stories and you, a person with a heart and soul that needs art like air, you do too. i will continue to write even if AI eats every word as soon as i type it. and i will still share it with you because i love writing and i love you

#maybe it’s 10 years in corporate work but I have become used to being used by corporations #and having my hard work be cannibalized by the system #and having the rich get richer because of work i am doing #and still writing anyway #and finding joy in art anyway #they can’t take that from me #i will find comfort and joy in creating in spite of them #because they can’t because they’re unable to without building machines to try and replace their lack of creativity and talent #i hate AI but not enough to let it take this from me #it won’t ruin this for me
