You had spent so long going through the makeup you had for this. Your Google Unit had literally flawless synthetic skin, so you had skipped the concealer, and really the foundation was useless with that in mind. And then there was the awkward point of staring at literally everything else in your makeup bag, trying to figure out how to choose the right colors not just for a cooler undertone, but one that was literally metallic-levels-of-cold. The metal plating under the synthetics wasn't even warm toned. All the copper would be part of the wiring all coated and contained deeper in the unit's body, protected from everything.

He sat there, waiting oddly patiently with an almost bored expression, but you knew that he was nervous. You knew him well enough to see all the fidgeting, the way his eyes tracked your every movement. You had offered out of curiosity and he had agreed to this. It was still cute to see how he ran his thumb over the back of his other hand as he sat there, or how every so often, he'd look away from you.

"Right, I think I have it all?" You looked down at your color choices, nodding a little to yourself. It was going to be the best you could do with what you had on hand. He nodded, his attention finally shifting to rest over your shoulder, at the wall behind you. You popped open your eyeshadow palette, picking up one of the smaller brushes. "Can you close your eyes please?"

You tapped the bristles against the powder, picking up enough pigment to get the base color across his lids. You leaned in, trying to make sure you weren't being too sloppy with it, only to have him lean back just as far. You pulled back, watching him also sit back in place. Two more times this happened before you sighed.

"Googs."
