Besides my deteriorating laptop not able to handle the size of this file (crashing 15+ times) I wanted to share the process since semickolon (Mickole Nulud) wanted me to! [UNTIL THEN SPOILERS]🛑

I really wanted to play on the themes of moving on and self-delusion. In Act 1 The Ruling is the constant looming force despite never being talked about by Mark, and yet it drives everything forward nonetheless. And I guess, you know the rest if you played!

I was also inspired by twilight sunsets while riding through Mahabang Parang Angono (sadly, I have no pictures), since a lot of the topography in the game is hilly and mountain-adjacent like Rizal itself (& because the skyline there is sooo beautiful and unmatched, you can see all the way to Metro Manila!)

Seduce me fandom I have a big question:

From my memory of seeing a post of Michaela’s (or a comment in SM2 or SM1), Mika’s grandad is a Warlock, right??? I cannot remember the exact word, BUT I believe they said he’s technically not human. Like he may be human but a warlock bc of his magic ability?? I want to see if anyone knows before I search through the entire seduce me ask on Michaela’s blog or search every route in SM2 for an answer.

I’m working on my background series for my MC (Michaela instead of Mika) and such and I want to make sure her genetics are gonna work out right with the ideas I have in my head. I want to stay as in canon (with genetics I mean and how they work) with the game and universe as I possibly can and I just want to ask for a moment. If not, then that’s perfectly okay! I can search myself lol.

Anyways yeah I’m open if you have an answer if not then that’s perfectly fine as well.

AHHHH HIII!!!!! Didn't really know how to explain at first but I found a summary thing I wrote in my notes app so here's that!!!

It's basically little snippets of Doug and Corey/Kayleen's (depends on which production you're watching, the OG script and everything all day Kayleen and she's a girl but the one I post about, the Brehmer Theatre production, has him be a guy named Corey instead) lives, they meet every few years and everytime one of them (mostly Doug) is injured in some way. And how this affects their friendship

The main plot is that Doug keeps getting hurt, and he believes Corey (/Kayleen) can heal his wounds by touching them (wether this is true or not is discussed throughout the play).

I don't know if that really captured the whole thing but I don't want to explain too much, it's definitely worth watching I think!! It's not a very long play, it's really all dialogue so it's easy to get through, and the production I keep talking about (and some other you could also check out) are on YouTube! honestly, I mean this as genuine reminder with no purposeful condescension to genshin and honkai star rail players with the news of what hsr’s new rewards will look like:

it’s perfectly fine to call out how stingy genshin has and will probably continue to be with its rewards. But at the end of the day, looking at the bigger picture, it is not the biggest issue in the world and should be treated as the biggest issue in the world.

not only that but even tho hsr (and even maybe honkai impact but I haven’t played it in a while so maybe things have changed) is much more generous with its rewards it still should be taken into account that at the end of the day, hsr is still a product meant to sink as much money as it can out of your precious wallets. That isn’t even me trying to be malicious it’s kinda a fact of any sort of product, especially gacha games which even when they can be free-to-play like genshin they still incentivize you to spend your money on the game. All this to basically just say don’t treat honkai star rail as your friend just because it gives better rewards. Neither genshin or honkai star rail are, they are both products that while technically free do heavily incentivize you to spend your money.

and lastly, choosing to stop your support of genshin and moving over to honkai star rail is fine. But acting like that’s somehow going to teach hoyoverse a lesson is pointless because honkai star rail and genshin belong to the same company. You’re still giving your time and money to hoyoverse no matter who you support. If you really do wanna teach hoyoverse, best bet is to put your money where your mouth is not give your money to any of hoyoverse’s games. I’m not saying you have to do that but if you really do wanna stick it to hoyoverse and force to make genshin give better rewards your best bet is going that.

I say this all as an ex-honkai impact player and current genshin impact and honkai star rail player
