Can I just say how much I love Mason Ramsey’s new song ‘Blue Over You’

Like im kind of a country hater except for some select songs and when I tell you this is the perfect balance of country and classic. I don’t know how to explain it. His voice is so rich like when you go to a bakery and you get a chocolate cupcake and it’s some of the richest chocolate you’ve ever had. That’s this song and his voice. No one can convince me that the song is anything other than a masterpiece.

Not going to lie, That Clover and Kanako image of them interacting was golden. It's a crime their not interacting more, regardless of the context of their interactions.

I so agree, anon! I have so many thoughts for two characters who canonically can never have met, LOL

I'll take this opportunity just to ramble a bit about my Soul Survivor Kanako AU, since they do get to meet and interact here LOL

I like to think in this AU, when Clover first sees Kanako in the saloon, they instantly get a puppy crush on her. She's a cute girl their age and she immediately takes an interest in them, so they go above and beyond trying to impress her. Beyond just a puppy crush, though, Clover really appreciates being around someone their age, and the two of them can be silly kids together. They've never really had a friend their age before, and it's something that really positively impacts their adventure.

Kanako, on her end, initially takes interest in Clover because... well, human. She's on a mission for her parents, so she needs to keep this human kid nearby and eventually get their trust to lure them out to the Steamworks. But, eventually, it starts going beyond that, and she genuinely has fun hanging out with Clover. Since she'd had to emotionally mature way too fast after Chujin died and Ceroba fell down, she's forgotten how to be a kid again, and Clover gives that to her in a way that the adults in her life can't. She starts to have fun and almost forgets about her mission when Clover is around, to the point that she wonders if maybe it's even worth it anymore.

Basically, Clover and Kanako playing Warrior Cats RP in the dunes playground together.

Does this mean Clover will be getting a little sister/brother/sibling and would they be jealous of having a sibling

I will say, while I didn't have any plans to give Starlo and Ceroba any more kids, that is an adorable idea.

It might depend on the age Clover would hypothetically be at (very young kids can easily get jealous at the majority of their parents attention going to another child) but I don't think they'd get that jealous. If anything, they'd probably be very excited to have a sibling, someone younger than them that they can look out for.

This could even tie into some of Clover's implied trauma and past. A lot of the flavour text implies Clover had to be far more mature for their age and handle a lot of extra chores and work. If Clover become an older sibling, they'd probably put a lot of pressure on themselves to help out around the house and with the younger sibling. To the point that Ceroba and Starlo might even have to tell them to dial it back. "We appreciate the help, but you're a sibling, not a parent to them. It's our job to handle most of the work, not yours."

But overall, I think Clover would be extremely happy to be an older sibling, and it would probably make them feel even more a part of a new better family. As I said I didn't plan to give Clover any siblings, but this is admittedly a very cute idea and made me happy to think about, so those are my scattered thoughts LOL.

I really wish Tai Lung had been allowed to drop his grab for the Dragon Warrior title after seeing the scroll just for the comedic factor of this criminal manbaby learning to live beside the Warrior 5 who hate him for everything he did - and make him very aware of it - but they can't do anything about it because Shi Fu is too damn happy about his son being home

Posting this bc I've been infodumping my qpp enough about a lot of shit today but I honestly need to listen to Slim Cessna's Auto Club more because they have a lot of albums and I love how the vibe changes between them. Though I've heard a few songs from roughly 3 different albums and I have yet to see anything that matches the beautiful melancholy of Jackson.
