There's this weird organic grocery store by Spencer's place that's far too expensive, but it's a ten minute walk, so that's where he goes. (Weird in separation to organic.)
He needs a lot of groceries now he's home for the week. Bread, vegetables, rice, flour if he wants to try and make pancakes, which he does. He also needs a new pen to write a letter for his mom, but Leaven is slightly too small for a stationery section.
He doesn't know what he'll say to her in this one. Maybe that the cases he's going on are easy, or that he's been reading about crows. She's not feeling well lately. It might help her to know he's doing gentle things, even if it isn't true.
No, he thinks. Can't lie to her. He never lies to his mom.
Eggs. Sugar. Coffee grounds. He fills his cart. It'll be a lot to carry on the way home, but better to do it in one go. He likes keeping busy but he's a human being, too, and he's looking forward to spending at least sixteen hours in bed after dinner tonight.
You look tired, too.
Your back is turned, but Spencer knows it's you. You must live close by, he's been seeing you duck in and out for months. Usually with a loaf of bread or a single box of painkillers tucked in your pocket. You don't steal, he'd be able to tell, and he wouldn't say anything if you did, anyways. All he knows about you is that you have a nice smile when you have the energy, and your voice is like silk. Purposeful or by nature, he's yet to guess.
You're standing by the end of the aisle near the checkouts with a basket hanging from your fingers. All you're buying today is a box of pancake mix and a bag of peas.
Weird, he thinks with a smile. Spencer likes weird stuff. It's quirky.
You turn to see which checkout is empty and Spencer's smile abruptly drops.
You have a bruise across half of your face. It isn't strictly fresh —he can see the split skin on your cheek starting to close in on itself, and your purpled eye is open (though barely). You're frowning. Spencer knows how bad it hurts to get hurt like that. For a split second he can't believe someone could do that to another person, and then he remembers the hundreds of women he's had the privilege to meet at their most vulnerable, who trusted him, and he thinks maybe he's capable of helping another one.
“Hey,” he says.
You meet his eyes with a funny smile. “Hey. Sorry, am I in the way?” you ask, your voice stretched, thin but not weak.
“No, you're not, it's… I see you here all the time.”
You hold your breath. When you talk, it rushes out. “So?” you ask wearily.
“Are you okay?”
Your funny smile fades as Spencer's had. He supposes that's the talent of cruelty. Even when it's over, it's not truly over. Your bruise still hurts, and Spencer still needs to know you'll be okay when you go home tonight.
“I see you all the time too. We've… we've actually spoken before, haven't we?” you ask after a moment.
“Yeah, about spirometry. I was out of breath running and–” It doesn't matter. You asked him if he was okay, and he explained that he was, just that his lungs don't hold much air on account of his own laziness, and it doesn't matter. “Are you? Alright? It's a bad bruise.”
“It's getting better.”
It might be, but there's something so raw about seeing you standing there in your sweatpants too big for you and a hoodie with a hole in it, purple and yellow contusion across your eyes and nose like the clumsy stroke of a paintbrush. Spencer will admit to feeling sorry for you.
“Can I talk to you?” he asks, knowing this isn't the right place. “There's the cafe at the front? Let me pay for my stuff and–”
“I'm really okay–”
“You had a cast on your wrist two weeks ago and now you're here with a limp and a really bad bruise,” he says softly, imploringly, “I just wanna talk to you about it. You don't have to say yes, I'm not trying to be weird, but I–”
You cut off his mile a minute speech with a small smile. “Okay. I'm not, you know, doing anything anyways. It'll be nice to sit down.”
Spencer knows it's dumb, but he wants to show he has good intentions. He takes your basket out of your hands and nods toward the cafe past the checkouts. “I'll come and meet you.”
“You don't have to,” you say, gesturing at the basket.
“The damage is done, right? This place is ridiculous.” He doesn't like the way you're holding your hip. It makes him feel sick, even though there's no proof one way or another to say you've been hurt beyond your bruising.
He pays for his things and yours and meets you at the cafe. He's half expecting you to have bolted, but you sit at a table near the entrance, completely still.
Spencer puts his two bags under the table and offers you your pancake mix and peas in their own bag.
“Thanks.”
“Yeah, no problem.”
“It was my boss.” You look at your fingers, spreading them slowly over the table top. “I’m a dancer. Sorry. I know you’re going to ask.”
“And he hit you?”
“Yeah.”
Spencer knows the number for every women’s shelter in every state, but he doubts it would matter to you. He can tell already that you’d say no. He can tell you’re scared, even if you don’t realise it yourself. “Is it getting worse?”
You can’t offer him anything else. He understands how that feels. There have been moments where he desperately wanted to tell someone, anyone, what was going on in his life, but he always holds his secrets like a perpetual ache in his throat. It’s like he can’t tell someone, even if they ask.
Sometimes he just wishes they’d ask twice.
“You can tell me. It won’t sound stupid,” he promises. He’s in some odd place between Agent Reid and young, terrified Spencer, determined to help you, but not sure how. “It’s getting worse, right?”
“Yeah,” you say, the weight of tears on your tongue.
“You’re a dancer. Is he just a boss– Does he… abuse you financially?”
You laugh wetly. “He’s not my pimp.”
He can feel his face heating up.’“No, but do you get paid on time? Everything you earn?”
You shake your head. “No, I don’t get paid on time. He takes a percentage, and somehow there’s always another percentage, and then discipline. And now…”
“Now he’s hitting you.” Very badly.
“I’m not stupid.”
Spencer frowns gently, talks softly, “I didn’t mean to imply that you were.”
“No, I know, but I need you to know I’m not stupid. When we talked before, you– you’re so smart, I bet you know so many smart people.”
He’s not sure where you’re going with this. Perhaps you don’t want to talk about being hurt anymore. It must be a kind of torture to be hurting and know that that hurting will come again. There isn’t an end in sight for you, just right now.
“Can I buy you something to eat?”
“I have money,” you say, taking your small purse from your pocket. There are a few notes wedged inside.
“You can’t take painkillers on an empty stomach, and you should take painkillers again soon. You had some before you came, and they’re wearing off.” He meets your confused frown with a frown of his own. “Your hands are twitching like you want to move away from yourself.”
“You’re very perceptive,” you say in that smooth murmur. Power clawed back, he thinks. You’re protecting one of the things you can control about how you’re seen when everything else is far from it.
“I’m a profiler. Do you,” —he tries not to sound hoity toity— “know what that is?”
“No.”
“I’m an FBI agent.” You’re laughing as he takes out his badge. He joins you. “I know it sounds like I’m making it up.” Spencer offers you his identification passport slowly, so you know he isn’t wielding it around to be an asshole. “I’m in the behavioural analysis unit. We analyse the way people act. That’s why I know you’re in pain.”
You take his badge, looking between his photo and his real face with a growing smile. “If you need all that to know I’m in pain, you’re not as smart as you think,” you tease, gesturing to the mottled skin of your bruise sweetly.
Spencer buys you both cold sandwiches from the front of the shop and a drink to wash down your aspirin. It’s awkward, he guesses, but he’s used to that by now, and under it he can feel your palpable relief. You trust him to not hurt you, if nothing else, and he can work with that.

Sweetheart | Haechan
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
summary: fluff, bad boy!haechan au, your plans for this semester were straight forward, focus on your studies and don't get distracted. Your plan was failproof, until you met haechan, the very person you were told to stay away from. w/c: 4,460
As someone who relishes in being an academic, there was nowhere you wanted to be more than around the hundred year old buildings that surround your college campus. The start of a new school semester is a much needed fresh start for you, a time to forget about the person you were last semester and put all your focus onto your studies.
That was fully the plan you had for yourself. You had everything all mapped out and ready to go, until you inevitably got distracted.
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
The day of your first class, you carved out extra time in your morning so you could enjoy your walk through the great halls of the historic campus. This was something you took for granted last semester and you weren’t going to let that happen again.
Strolling by the portraits of the college’s long-departed founders, you’re enveloped by the sounds of professors in mid-lecture, their voices carrying throughout the hall.
When you finally arrive to class, you surprisingly weren’t the first one there. There were two other students, one sitting in the very front and one in the back. Last semester you would have chosen to sit as far from the professor as possible, but you were determined to change, so you picked the perfect seat right in the middle.
As you get out all your supplies and place them onto your desk, more and more students fill the seats around you. As it neared the start of the class, you wondered if anyone was going to take the seat right next to you. You secretly hoped not, knowing the likelihood of that leading to distraction.
Almost all the seats fill up except for a few in the row above you, in the very front, and the seat next to you. You were relieved when the professor walked in because you assumed that meant all of the students had arrived. Of course, you were wrong. A few moments later, a group of five guys arrived, conversing loudly to one another. You assumed they were all friends and you hoped that they would take the five seats in the row behind you. You watched as they passed by your row and you mentally smiled to yourself, until you saw the face of the guy who was clearly the loudest in the group.
He doesn’t see you looking at him, and it wouldn’t matter even if he did. Haechan didn’t know you and you didn’t really know him either. You just knew his name and the various stories you’ve heard about him from last semester.  You had only seen his face in passing before, but now under the bright fluorescent lights of the lecture hall, you were taken aback by how handsome he actually is. He goes out of view from your eyesight and sits down in a seat behind you. As the professor begins teaching, your mind forgets all about Haechan and his bad reputation.
You really assumed that you could go through the whole semester without Haechan crossing your mind again. How silly and naive you were. You did have to give yourself a little credit though. At first, you truly didn’t want anything to do with him. Everyday in class you assumed that you were practically invisible to him, like you were to everyone else. However, when you don’t want someone to take notice of you, it's almost like you become a magnet to them.
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
Throughout the first weeks of class, everyone seemed to have remained in the seats they occupied during the first day, save for the few students that dropped the class. You were very content and happy with that fact because you hated change, even a change that mattered so little.
The beginning of class went by like normal, your professor passionately teaching as you took the best notes you could. However, you didn’t expect your professor to finish her lecture early and announce that there is an assignment that she wants everybody to complete by the end of class with a partner.
Making friends was actually the last thing on your mind this semester, so you look around the classroom as everyone pairs up, hoping to find someone who also has no one. You scan the room and as you look back to the left, you notice that someone has sat down in the seat next to you. A jolt shoots through you - a flurry of unexpected butterflies erupting in your stomach at Haechan sudden proximity.
The expression you wore on your face must have been that of complete shock and confusion, but all he does is smirk back at you and turn his attention to the professor at the front of the class. “Alright, it seems that everyone has their partners. I want you to take the next twenty minutes to ask each other the questions on the sheet that I have provided and evaluate each other's answers.”
You barely heard the words she was saying, not understanding why Haechan of all people would leave his friends to be partners with you. However, you did need someone to do the assignment with, so you decided not to complain too much.
“You gotta put yourself out there a bit more, sweetheart.” Haechan says, pulling you out of your thoughts.
“Huh?” Was all you could say, staring back at him.
He tilts his head at you and smiles, “You were looking around the classroom like a lost puppy.”
You feel blood rush to your cheeks, “Oh. I just haven’t really made any friends yet in class and-”
“Hmh, well you’re lucky I was here to save you.” You were about to correct him and say that you didn’t need him to do anything for you, when he interrupted again. “What’s your name, sweetheart?”
It was the second time he used that pet name, and you weren’t sure what was more bothersome, the fact that he persisted in calling you by it, or the part of you that secretly enjoys it. “Y/n.” You responded evenly, trying to hide your inner conflict.
He mirrored your tone, a hint of challenge in his eyes, “Haechan.”
His presence confirmed everything you’ve heard about him. Yet, there was something so intriguing about him, the way he didn’t think twice about leaving his friends to help you, someone he doesn’t know. It was too much to think about so you put all your attention onto the assignment, hoping it would distract you.
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
You had class again with Haechan two days later. The assignment was finished and already turned in, so you thought that you wouldn’t have to worry about him anymore. Of course, you were wrong. You watch as his friends go to the row behind you, but he doesn’t follow them. Instead, he sits right next to you again. “Morning, sweetheart.” He says, flashing a smile at you.
There was that pet name again, even though he now knew your real name. You give him a small smile back to be polite and then pull out your notebook, deciding not to let him distract you.
You can feel his eyes on your notebook as you open it up to the most recent page of notes. Lately you have been fixated on drawing little sunflowers, so there were a few doodles scattered around your past notes. Just as you are about to write down the title of today's lecture, your notebook is taken from you.
“You draw?” Haechan asks, inspecting your drawings closely.
“Not really.” You say, which was the truth. You used to draw, all the time actually, but as you got older you stopped.
“Hm, cute.” He says, straight faced and looking right at you. You have no idea if he’s trying to compliment you or if it was a belittling ‘cute’, but you ignore him all the same, taking your notebook back.
He leaves you alone until the very end of class as everyone starts packing up to leave. “You know, you’re in college. You’re supposed to have fun.” Haechan says, his elbow resting on your notebook stopping you from putting it in your bookbag.
“I do have fun.” You say, genuinely shocked at his words. He knew nothing about you besides your name, which he doesn’t even bother to use.
“Yeah? I haven’t seen you out.”
“We just go to different places then.”
He gives you that same smile that could make any girl fall in love within seconds, “You don’t have to lie to me, sweetheart.”
“I wasn’t-”
“How about,” He says, leaning in so close to you that you can count all the pretty little moles on his face. “You get all dolled up for me and I’ll take you out tonight.”
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
Alarm bells started ringing in your mind the moment you left class. Everything you’ve ever been taught urges you to stay away from him. Yet, here you are, putting on the finishing touches of your makeup in your prettiest little outfit, waiting for him.
You’ve talked yourself out of going about ten different times, but part of you found truth in his words. You don’t go out much, not anymore. It was hard trying to find time for fun while balancing all your classes, not to mention that you didn’t want to revert back to the person you were last semester.
Last semester you prioritized your social life over your classes, and you promised yourself that it wouldn’t happen again. However, you also promised yourself that you would try and enjoy everyday life. You didn’t think that would mean spending time with Haechan of all people, but you’ve never been good at predicting what decisions you would make anyway.
You’re taken away from all your thoughts by a knock on your door and literally nothing could have prepared you for the whiplash you experienced when you opened that door. Haechan stands there, flowers in hand, and all dressed up. Your face contorts into an expression of confusion that probably looks more unkind than what you intended.
“These were the type of flowers in your little drawings right?” He says, completely unfazed by your confusion.
Nothing in his tone from earlier had suggested that he was taking you out on a date. If you had known that, you definitely would have made an excuse not to go out with him. “I thought you were just taking me out tonight, not going on a date with me.”
“I am taking you out, exactly what I told you. I would never lie.” He says, making his way inside even though you didn’t invite him in.
You close the door behind him. “Actually I feel like you would.”
He leans on your kitchen counter, “Look, if you don’t want to go, then that’s completely fine. I can find some other girl to give these flowers to, but I'd really rather not.”
With his ever irritating and irresistible smile, he gestures the flowers towards you, wanting you to accept them. Against your better judgment, you do accept the sunflowers and he waits patiently as you put them in a vase, observing every aspect of your apartment.
Once you finish, you grab your wallet to put in your purse, but Haechan stops you. “Leave it.” He says, gesturing towards your wallet. “Do you really think I’m gonna let you pay for anything?”
“Do you even have a job?” You ask, suspiciously setting your wallet down.
He shrugs his shoulders, “I get paid.”
You don’t really care to know what that means, both for your safety and the fact that you don’t want to be an accomplice to any crimes he may or may not be committing. You do leave your wallet though, because the last thing you were going to do was turn down free dinner.
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
Maybe it was the fact that your brain hasn’t fully registered that he’s taking you out on a ‘date’, but you were shocked when he ended up taking you to a pretty nice restaurant. It was right outside of campus, but there weren’t many people your age around, mainly older adults.
“I feel like you would like the salmon, it’s really good here.” Haechan says, as you look over the menu.
“You don’t even know me, how could you possibly know if I would like the salmon. I could be allergic for all you know.”
“No. That's why friends hang out, to get to know more about each other.”
“Friends don’t buy each other flowers though.”
As usual, Haechan is unfazed by your remarks. “Maybe not, but pretty girls deserve pretty things.”
You roll your eyes at him, “That’s such a line.”
“It is a line, but that doesn’t mean I don’t mean it.” He leans forwards towards you, like he’s trying to get a better look at you under the dim lighting. “And you look even prettier when I make you blush.”
You hide behind your menu to hide the fact that you actually were blushing. Luckily, the waitress comes to take your orders quickly. “I’ll have the salmon please.” You say, ignoring Haechan’s smirk because you ordered excatly what he recommended.
“Can I ask you something?” You say, as the waitress leaves the table.
Haechans nods, taking a sip of his water. “Why did you choose to be partners with me? All your friends are in that class.”
He sets his water down and looks up at the ceiling, thinking. You can tell in his expression that he has an answer for you, but doesn’t want to say, so he shrugs at you instead.
You weren’t about to accept no answer from him, this has been bugging you since the day it happened. “No really. I want to know why.”
Unexpectedly, a shy smile crosses his face. “...I just thought you were cute. You get this really adorable concentrated look when you take notes. Plus, my friends are idiots so when I saw you without a partner, I saw it as my chance to finally talk to you.”
You find yourself torn at his answer. Part of you can feel yourself starting to actually like him, while the other knows the kind of guy that he is. However, you can’t ignore the fact that everything you’ve actually experienced with him is completely unlike all the things you’ve heard about him in the past.
“What are you thinking about?”
“I just have heard some things about you.” You say and you can tell that he immediately knows all the things you’re referring to. “But, now I'm starting to think that my perception of you was wrong.”
“Do you want it to be wrong?”
“Huh?”
“Or do you like the idea of a good girl being with the kind of guy everyone says I am?”
“I…” The food comes, cutting your sentence off, which you were grateful for because you weren’t sure what you were going to say. You hoped that the distraction was enough that Haechan didn’t notice your cheeks heat up again, because if you thought you were blushing before, it’s nothing compared to now. However, if you thought he was going to let go of this conversation, you were wrong. “You didn’t answer me.” Haechan says, taking a bite out of his food.
“I don’t even know how to answer your question.”
“Ok just let me know when you figure it out, sweetheart.”
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
The rest of dinner went great. You were surprised at how easy it was to talk to Haechan, and how well he listens. You even found yourself not wanting to say goodnight to him, so when he took you back to your place, you were secretly happy when he invited himself inside again.
You were about to set your purse down when he grabbed your hand and pulled you towards him. “I had a good time tonight.” He says, his eye contact giving you butterflies.
“Me too, actually.”
He playfully rolls his eyes at your response, “Actually? Like you were expecting to have a horrible time.”
“Well actually, I couldn’t expect anything because you didn’t tell me what we were going to do tonight.”
He smiles at you and tucks a strand of hair behind your ear, getting closer to you. “So pretty.” He backs you up so that your back is against the front door and he slowly brings his face closer to you, nudging your noses together. He doesn’t have a tight grip on you at all, you could move if you wanted to, but that was genuinely the last thing you wanted to do.
You realized that he was waiting for your ‘ok’ before he did anything, so you grab him by his belt loop and pull him even closer to you, your lips meeting. The kiss was a whirlwind, a collision of rough passion and surprising tenderness that left you completely breathless. You clung to him, intoxicated by the feel of his honey lips on yours, wanting this moment to last forever. His hands wandered to all the right places, sending shivers down your spine.
He pulls back for a moment, his eyes sparkling with amusement. “I guess that answers my question for earlier then, huh?”
You roll your eyes at him before he takes you in again, kissing you like you’ve never been kissed before. Your knees grow weaker as he moves onto your neck. “Haechan…” You say, not even able to finish your sentence.
Unfortunately, he breaks apart from you again. “Yeah?”
You could kick yourself for what you were about to say, but you knew that the ‘new you’ was trying to improve. “I don’t ever do this.”
“I figured as much, sweetheart.” He tries to pull you in again, but you stop him. “So… you should probably go.”
He nods his head, but stares into your eyes. “I can tell you didn’t want to say that.”
“I don’t. I want you to stay, but I promised myself I would listen to my head over my heart so you have to go.”
He smiles at you, giving you one last kiss goodnight. “I’ll see you in class, y/n.” You nod your head at him, smoothing down your hair that he messed up, as you watch him show himself out.
The door shuts and you take a deep breath in, feeling like it's the first time you’ve breathed since he stepped foot into your apartment. You take a couple more breaths before you realize how hard you are smiling, wishing you didn’t let him leave, but proud of yourself that you did.
⟡⋆.˚❀⋆.˚⟡
You had forgotten how nice it felt to be wanted by someone. You were content to be completely single this whole semester, but you had always loved love. It was something you daydreamed about constantly, even wrote a few short stories here and there in your free time. You didn’t want a one time hookup, if you were going to put your heart on the line, it was going to be with someone who deserved it. The problem was, you weren’t sure if Haechan did deserve your heart or if he even wanted it.
The attraction was there and it was so easy to talk to him, but how many girls did he take out like this? For all you know, he could be out with another girl right now, making her feel the same emotions he made you feel last night. The thought of that made you sick with jealousy, so you decided to distract yourself so you didn’t have to think about it. Haechan would make his true feelings known to you in time, you knew that much, so all you could do now was try not to go crazy thinking about him.
You started on your classwork first thing the next morning and finished around noon. Realizing that the only thing you had to eat today was a smoothie for breakfast, you decided to get out of the apartment and go to the cute cafe that was on campus.
There were few things you loved more than walking around campus on a beautiful day like today. The hills of grass were finally green again after the harsh winter, and the spring flowers were starting to bloom. You were about halfway there when a gust of wind blew, blowing flower petals all over you. You smiled as the soft petals graced your face and you shook your hair out, even though you had a feeling you probably didn’t get them all out.
You arrive at the cafe, greeted with the warm smell of coffee being brewed and pastries being baked. You were walking to the counter to order, when you saw him. Haechan was sitting at one of the few tables in the cafe, facing a woman whose back was turned towards you. Your heart dropped at the sight of him, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear, the same thing he did to you last night right before he kissed you.
You knew it. You knew that everything you’ve been told about him was true. You should have seen through his charming act and listened to your head instead of your heart. You didn’t want to look at him any longer, so you turned around to leave. You thought that you could disappear before his eyes found you, but you were wrong. You heard him call out your name, not once but twice, but you kept going, refusing to look back.
“Y/n! Hey.” Haechan says, gently grabbing your arm right as you walk out the cafe. You stop walking which gives him enough time to get in front of you, “Hey.” He says, grinning at you like he has no idea all the emotions going through your mind. When you didn’t return your smile, his smile faded away. “What’s wrong?”
“What’s wrong?” You mimic his question while crossing your arms. “I let some guy take me out last night, let him kiss me and make me feel pretty, all while he was going to do the same thing to another girl the very next day.” You try to walk away from him, but he stops you again.
“Y/n, I don’t know what you’re talking about. I promise you I wouldn’t do something like that to you.” He says with pleading eyes.
“I saw you!” You say, a little too loud that other students start to look over, but you don't care. Haechan was about to deny your allegations again, until the realization dawned on him. His face changes from confused to cocky in a split second. “Sweetheart,” He says, giving you the same addicting smirk. “If I had known jealousy made you look this hot I would have done something sooner.”
You fume in anger at his words. “Are you serious?” He gets closer to you, causing your back to hit the wall of the cafe. “So this is what you like to do, huh? You like to pick out girls in your classes that look loney, make them think that someone like you would give someone like them a chance, and then what? Make them jealous for your own sick pleasure?”
“Y/n.” His calming voice a stark contrast to your angry one. “Do you really think I would do that to you?” He got even closer, the feeling of his soft breath on your neck. “Do you really think I could kiss you like I did last night if I felt absolutely nothing towards you?”
You couldn’t explain it, but his words washed all your anger away. No, you didn’t really think that he would do that to you. And no, you didn’t think that he was capable of kissing you like that if he didn’t have feelings for you, but that still didn’t explain what you just saw in the cafe.
Before you could question him again, Haechan answers all the questions swimming in your mind. “The girl I was with just now is Julia.” He backs up a bit and you look into the cafe window and see Julia scrolling on her phone. “We volunteer at the animal shelter that’s just off campus. That's the only reason why I know her. I bumped into her today and I could tell that she had been crying, so I thought that I would buy her a coffee to cheer her up. She’s going through some family stuff and she just needed someone to talk to.”
 “Oh.” was all you could say as you process his explanation. Haechan tilts his head at you and gently brings his hand up to your hair, removing a flower petal that was still stuck from the wind earlier. “You probably think I’m crazy now.”
“I don’t think you’re crazy, y/n. I’m actually flattered that I have this effect on you.” You laugh at his words because they were true, he did have such an effect on you.
“I’m sorry I made such quick assumptions about you, Haechan.”
“It’s not really your fault. We haven’t known each other for very long and I know what people say about me.”
“Does it bother you?”
He thinks for a minute before responding. “Sometimes, but it’s not like I go out of my way to show people the real me.”
“Why not?”
“Sometimes it’s easier to just play a character in front of other people.”
You didn’t know what to say so you nod your head at him because you knew from experience that he was right. Sometimes you had to play a character that everybody expected from you out of fear of revealing your vulnerable side.
It hit you then, that that was what Haechan was doing. He wasn’t playing a character right now, he was being so vulnerable with you. Your heart constricted at the thought of him feeling that safe around you. You wanted to grab his face and kiss him right now, but you’re still in a very public place so you settled for a sweet kiss on his cheek.  “Don’t ever feel like you have to play a character in front of me, Haechan. I like this you better.” You say giving him yet another kiss on the cheek because you couldn’t resist. “But if you still want to call me sweetheart occasionally, I would like that very much.”
Haechan breaks out into the sweetest smile you’ve ever seen in your life, and you were just grateful to have been the cause of such a beautiful expression. He cups your cheeks into the palm of his hands and you lean into his left palm. “I like you a lot, y/n.”
“I like you too, Haechan.”

Falling in Love on the Fourth Floor
Azriel x reader
Summary: you move in with a guy you kind of know who happens to have a really hot brother.
Author’s Note: this is part 1 baby!! Likely 5-6 parts, that is currently what I have planned for this. This part is shorter to set things up for later okay love you 😘
(Part 2)
Tumblr media
“Mor I don’t know about living with your long term hook up.”
She rolls her eyes, her blonde hair blowing in the wind over facetime. “He’s great - he’s super sweet, super funny, and he’s really hot. Besides, you’ve already signed the lease. It’s too late to back out now.”
You sit in the u-haul you rented, filled to the brim with your belongings, waiting for the leasing office to open so you can grab your keys. You had just pulled up, deciding to call Mor while you wait the ten minutes for them to arrive.
“I don’t know, Mor. What if this was a mistake?”
You chew your lip while thinking about all the ways this could go poorly. She smiles, her face taking up the screen of your phone. “Sweetie, it’s going to be fine. I’ve known him for a long time. He’s friends with my cousin. Worst case scenario you move out at the end of the year into a new apartment.”
She was right, of course. At worst it would be a year. You’ve met Cassian a few times, Mor bringing him to a couple parties and casual get togethers. You were always awed by his warm presence and ease around anybody, qualities that are great when you’re moving in with someone you hardly know.
You nod your head agreeing, but spot someone walking towards the leasing office. “Hey I gotta go Mor - leasing office person is here. I’ll call you tonight?”
She shakes her head, “I can’t tonight - stupid dinner with stupid family. I’ll have pizzas sent to your place, how’s that?”
You smile, her absence one out of familial obligation. She hated her parents, but they also funded her degree so you couldn’t be upset at the one-off events she had to attend to appease them. You also know she tried to get out of the event tonight, but ultimately you’re glad that there’s a now zero chance your new roommate and your best friend will have sex while you’re moving in.
You pick up the keys, sign last minute paperwork, and hop into the elevator to ride up to the fourth floor. You keep reciting the apartment number to yourself, having double checked with the office and with Mor. You find it, situated at the end of the hall with one other apartment next to it.
You run through how this could go in your head - you could unlock the door and have Cassian be pissed off because he wasn’t sure when you’d be arriving. You could wait for him to come out and act like you were just walking up at the same time. Or you could knock on the door, which you find yourself doing.
The door swings in a moment after your knock and you find Cassian looking at you, a confused expression on his face. Despite the early hour, Cassian doesn’t look like he just woke up. In fact, his hair is tied up in a half bun, he’s dressed in a shirt with the sleeves ripped off (allowing his tattooed biceps to be on full display) and some sweatpants, and you can smell bacon and eggs wafting through the door.
“Why’d you knock - did they forget to give you a key?”
Your cheeks heat with embarrassment, this whole situation leaving you uncertain of what to do at each turn. You look up at him as he stands in the doorframe waiting for your answer. Cassian’s a big guy, easily clearing a foot and several hundred pounds of muscles on you.
“Uh- no they did, I just didn’t want to disturb you.”
He looks at you and you’re certain he can feel the nerves radiating off of you. He chuckles and tells you, “not much disturbs me.”
He opens the door more, allowing you to come in. You hadn’t toured the place before signing a lease, your desperation leading you here without many other options. Living in a college town had it’s benefits, however finding a new place to live in July was not one of them. Not a single complex had a room for you. It was either stay with Cassian or crash on Feyre’s couch in her studio apartment.
The place is decently nice - to your left you see the living room with two couches that face quite possibly one of the largest televisions you’ve ever seen. You peer to your right, the kitchen a little bare but clean. You spy the pan and plate that Cassian had clearly just used to eat his breakfast.
“I can give you a tour,” he tells you, “it’s not much but it’s home.”
You take note of the in-unit washer dryer in a closet off the kitchen facing the front door. “Just don’t leave things in the washing machine,” Cassian told you, “pet peeve of mine is wet laundry sitting. Smells awful.”
He shows you where to find all three remotes for the tv and what each remote does, information your brain likely will never remember. He pulls up to one door, opening it slightly. “This is my room,” he says softly due to you being right behind him. He walks to another door, opening it to show a small bathroom. “This is the extra bathroom - this is usually where guests go.”
You two reach the final door, and as he’s opening it he tells you, “and this will be your room.”
You step in and look around the bare room, feeling so small in such a vast and empty space. The room’s not large by any means, but it’s yours. It’s your first step into independence and that feels vast. There’s no furniture, just a router on the floor that makes you chuckle. The blinds are drawn, the soft light peaking through illuminating the cream colored walls.
It feels like freedom. It feels like this place could be a home.
Cassian, the saint of a man that he is, offers to help bring up your boxes. The two of you make quick work of bringing up all of your worldly possessions, frequent occupants of the building’s sole elevator.
He even helps you bring up the bed frame and mattress you had to buy, just barely fitting into the elevator with both.
The two of you passed the time idly, occasional words spoken between you. Sometimes he’d laugh about the organization of your boxes - one box reading both “tampons” and “fall semester textbooks”.
Eventually everything is up in your room, the space cluttered with your boxes and various things. Cassian offered to help you with the bed frame, and when you asked him if he was doing anything else today, he told you, “I cleared my schedule. Wanted to help my new roommate settle.” He winked at you and you smiled back. You suddenly recall Mor describing Cassian as a “generous lover” once and you can totally see it. The man’s love language was clearly acts of service if today was anything to go by.
The two of you set up the bed frame, bickering over the instructions. No one, not even sweet, gentle giant Cassian is immune to the frustrations of lackluster instructions.
As you’re picking up the mattress and placing it in the frame, Cassian starts speaking. “I should probably mention that my brothers live next door. They’ll probably be over now and again.”
That piques your interest. Setting down the mattress with a huff you ask, “why don’t you live with them?”
Cassian shrugs, looking away from you, “I was initially offered a scholarship at another school, but I got injured, lost my scholarship, so came to my back up school. By then my brothers already had their own place, but they were able to set me up in the same building. That was three years ago and moving is a bitch so we’ve just kept this arrangement. Sometimes whenever Az and Rhys are butting heads I let one of them stay here in my room and I take theirs, but otherwise it’s worked out pretty well.”
You look at him, and you know there’s a bit more to the story by how sad his eyes look at the memory. He offered a piece of himself, so you offer a piece of yourself in return.
“My parents kicked me out,” you tell him, scratching the back of your neck. “They uh don’t really approve of me or my plans, so I got the boot.”
You rub your arms, making yourself as small as they make you feel. “They um weren’t very good parents and I finally stood up for myself and they didn’t like that. They have since disowned me and don’t really want anything to do with me.”
You bounced up and down on your toes during your admission and Cassian’s eyes soften as he looks at you, practically a stranger. You two had met a handful of times, his fling with Mor lasting a few months. He walks out of the room, and you’re worried you’ve offered too much, until you hear the fridge door open and close and he returns with two beer bottles. He opens both with his teeth, causing you to inhale sharply, thinking about a chipped tooth. He hands one to you, holding his out to toast. He speaks after your two glasses make a soft clink.
“Mor knew I had a spare room. The leasing office only charges me for my room, so it’s no big deal. Haven’t done much with it, except use the shower when my drain was clogged.”
He takes a sip and looks around your new room before continuing. “She begged me to let you come here. Told me you were one of the kindest, hardest working people she knew.”
You smile, looking up at your new roommate, “she said that?”
“She also said you had a great ass and an incredible rack.”
You throw your head back laughing. “That sounds like Mor.”
The two of you drink in silence, the weariness of the past few weeks creeping into your bones. Maybe Cassian won’t be so bad to live with after all.
Several hours later you and Cassian were setting up one of your bookshelves when someone walked through the door, a delicious smell permeating the apartment.
“Cass, I’m here with pizzas. When’s the “great rack” supposed to get here?”
You and Cassian are on the floor of your room and before he can respond, you yell back, “the great rack got here about five hours ago.”
You hear muttered cursing when a beautiful male walks in, his short cropped black hair pushed back. Rhysand - Mor’s cousin. You recognized his almost violet eyes and sharp features from her family photos littering her desk, as well as her determination to convince your friend Feyre to go on a date with him. He was taller in person, but not as tall as Cassian.
“My apologies, you know how Mor can get with her physical descriptions of people.”
You laugh, screwing in a shelf. “All is forgiven. There are much worse things to be known as or called. Mor has quite the mouth on her - you should hear her talk about Cassian.” You say, pointing your head in his direction.
His head raises from the instruction booklet he’s reading to ask, “what does she say about me?”
“I believe the words “tree trunk” have been used to describe certain body parts on multiple occasions.”
Your new guest barks a laugh, shaking his head. “Well, I brought pizzas should either of you desire them.”
“That’s really sweet but I couldn’t impose-“
Cassian cuts you off, holding a hand up to stop your sentence. “Too late. You’ve imposed. Guess you have to eat the pizza. Besides I hear the best way to keep a great rack is to keep it fed.”
You smile, thinking that maybe this won’t be so hard. It was a rash decision, living with Cassian. You couldn’t stay at home, your parents had made that abundantly clear. Your plans had been to live with them until you graduated in the spring, wanting to save money on housing.
After all the shelves and furniture were set up in your room, you found yourself sitting on the couch with Cassian and Rhysand, pizza boxes on the coffee table in front of you. Rhys, he had told you to call him, had started a movie that was the third in a series. He spent twenty minutes explaining to you the plot of the first two movies. They sounded like generic action movies to you, but you let him go on about the intricacies of the plot and how cool the main character was.
Halfway through the movie the front door opens and closes softly, and all three of you turn to look at the tall man who entered. He was fit, not as muscular as Cassian was, but still toned, even through his shirt. Onyx curls adorned the top of his head, coming close to blocking his hazel eyes. You’re not sure if you’re even breathing looking at him as he looks around the room.
“Azzy, meet my roommate.”
Azzy, as Cassian called him, looked to Cassian to scold him for the nickname before his eyes met yours.
“Azriel’s fine.”
“Oh, okay,” you laugh, telling him your name with a little wave of your hand. His eyes are still on yours, as if he’s trying to commit to memory the name to the face.
“Mor’s friend, right?”
“Yeah, great ass, incredible rack,” Cassian responds, mining out an hourglass figure with his hands. You kick his foot, telling him “is this how you’re going to introduce me from now on.”
He winces as your foot makes contact with his shin, rubbing the afflicted area. “I mean it tells you everything you need to know about someone. You guys can just start calling me ‘big peen’.”
Rhys chuckles, then starts taking a sip of his drink as you tell Cassian, “I think they’d just call you big head, mysterious third nipple.”
Cassian gasps, eyes widening as Rhys spits out his drink, “I can’t BELIEVE Mor told you that about me!”
Rhys gets up, walking to the linen closet to grab a towel to dry off his shirt. Azriel walks to the fridge, grabbing a beer before heading to sit next to Cassian on the other couch as the two of you continue to bicker. As he walks past, you swear you feel every bit of contact as his legs brush past yours.
And if Azriel’s eyes lingered on you as he sat down - you might just have made that up too.

María León x Ingrid Engen x Reader [SMUT!]
the cutest duo am i right
word count : 2.6k
warnings : fluffy smut, bon appetit.
“Ready, mi amor?”
“Si, just let me get my bag.”
Mapi stood at the door with her kitbag, grabbing her keys when you walked up to her with your medical bag. You had just been announced as the head of the medical team for Barcelona Femeni and it was your first day. Your girlfriends recommended you to the board when you were helping Alexia with her ACL; the board decided to use your expertise on the team upon her recommendation and you got the job, moving on from your private practice.
You were a little nervous about the position; the team was made up of elite athletes that relied on you to keep them healthy and injury-free to be able to do their jobs the best they can. You had met them all, but since you’ve never cared for them except for Alexia, Mapi and Ingrid so you were scared that you would mess up and cost the team.
“I’m ready.” You tell her, smiling up at your girlfriend.
“The barça crest looks good on you.” She tells you proudly, holding the door open for you as you walked to her car.
“Please, you’ve seen it on me hundreds of times.”
“It’s one thing to see you in my jersey or Ingrid’s amor, never fails to make my heart go crazy.”
“I love you,” you tell her, blushing lightly when she opens your door for you; Ingrid already sitting inside.
“I love you too,” She whispers quietly, leaning in to kiss your cheek.
//
You walk to training together, they follow you into the medical room to introduce you to everyone and to get you settled. Ingrid kisses your head and Mapi kisses you before leaving, heading to training while you work up a health plan for each and every one of the players.
You come out to the pitch a while later to introduce yourself to the team which isn’t necessary since the girls are over at your house at least once a week anyway and you knew all of them well. They come over to say hello at a water break, Alexia gives you a hug when Mapi comes up from behind and hugs you as you talk to Irene, Patri and Ingrid.
“Go back to practice, clingy.”
“I wanna hang out with you.”
“We live in the same house, you will live without me for a bit. Go.”
“Asshole.”
“That is so sweet of you, love.”
She lets go and kisses your cheek before running back on the pitch with Ingrid following her. You speak with Jonatan for a bit to discuss how he wished to have the medical team at games and such. You go back inside after, waving to the girls.
Ingrid and Mapi find you in your office after training, freshly showered and ready to go home. You make them sit and wait a bit, finalizing a little work before shaking Mapi awake to go home. You drive, the two girls too tired as they both fall asleep on the way.
Mapi crashes on the couch snoring while Ingrid forces herself upstairs, you chuckle and clean out their kit bags and do a load of laundry before starting on dinner. Mapi wakes up when she smells the steak you’re cooking, trudging to the kitchen grumpily.
“Hello sleepy head.”
“Hola,” she grunts back, sitting on the counter and rubbing her eyes.
You hand her a bottle of water and force her to have half, knowing she was probably thirsty but too stubborn to drink water. She jumps off the counter and throws the finished bottle in the trash before standing behind you and hugging you like she did earlier. She kisses your neck softly, arms snaked under her hoodie you had on.
“Dinner will be ready in 5, baby.”
“I’ll set the table. You’re the best, you know that?”
“I know.”
She laughs and lets go, setting the table before calling for Ingrid. You walk in with three plates, putting theirs in front of them before sitting down with your own. Ingrid digs in, sighing when she takes a bite. You smile and watch her eating as you join her while Mapi scarfs down her food at lightning speed.
“You hungry?” you ask her teasingly, grinning when she looks up with a mouth full of food.
“You’re in the wrong profession bebé.”
“These hands save lives and feed them. I love both babe; it makes me happy to see you both and the girls enjoy my cooking. Besides, it helps me destress from work.”
//
“Y/N!”
You heard your name being called during a game against Real Madrid. You look up and grab your medical bag and rush onto the field without knowing which player you’re treating. When you get there, your heart nearly stops. It’s María, face wincing in pain.
“María? Talk to me love, what hurts?”
“What doesn’t?”
“Quit being a smartass, tell me what hurts!”
“Ankle, I think her studs caught it.”
You move lower and grasp her leg, examining her ankle. You twist it to see the reaction and she yells out. Ingrid is kneeling by her head and stroking her hair, whispering softly to her to calm her down. You carefully pull her boot off followed by her sock, her ankle already starting to bruise.
“She’s out, she can’t play like this.”
“I can, just need a minute.”
“You will not, I’m pulling you off.”
The tone you used got her to stop arguing, you motioned for the stretcher to haul her off the pitch. Ona was already warmed up and ready to go, taking her spot in the game while you tended to Maria.
She sat in the examination room quietly as you iced her ankle and taped her up. She winced and whined which you promptly ignored, knowing she would complain about it after. You helped her back to the benches to watch the rest of the game, keeping her leg elevated and thoroughly iced.
“Are you okay, elskling?” asked Ingrid after the game, helping María into the car after she showered and changed, both of them positively excited by the win.
“Yes but no one has kissed it better yet.” She replies with a pout, you roll your eyes at her as you put their bags in the back with yours.
“Our Y/N didn’t kiss it better? What kind of doctor are you?” Ingrid accused you, Mapi nodding deftly with her. You chuckle and look at both of them in disbelief, hopping into the driver’s seat. Mapi was in the back with her leg across the backseat, Ingrid climbing into the passenger seat grinning.
“I did my job, I will not coddle you María.”
“I am your girlfriend, the contract says you must coddle me.”
“Are you in any pain?”
“No.”
“Any discomfort?”
“Not really.”
“Can you put pressure on your leg despite it being black and blue?”
“Yes, it’s perfectly wrapped.”
“Then I did my job.”
She huffs, crossing her arms and pouting.
“Fine, I will kiss it better when we get home.”
“You big softy.”
“Your leg is about to be even worse, María.”
//
“Y/N!”
“Yes?”
“Can you help me?”
You walk into the living room to find Mapi reaching for the TV remote on the coffee table. Ingrid is sitting there with a book, apparently ignoring Mapi.
“I can’t reach the remote.”
“Why did you call me when she’s literally sitting right there? I’ve got food on the stove!”
“She’s ignoring me.”
“And why is that, love?”
“I threw her book across the room when she didn’t want to cuddle me.”
“Sounds like you deserve it then.”
“I am injured! You’re both supposed to pity me! Baby me!”
“You don’t throw your girlfriends book across the room when she tries to read!”
“And you don’t call her a hundred and one times just to get you the remote!”
María leaned forward and managed to grab the remote, grinning up at you proudly.
“Got it! Sorry babe, don’t need you after all!”
“Call me one more time María León and I will make sure you never walk again.”
She cowers, turning on the tv and watching it till dinner time. You bring dinner to the both of them and enjoy a little tv along with it. Ingrid cleans up and comes back to cuddle you, pulling you into her arms as her hands thread through her hair. You scoot Mapi up between your legs gently, braiding her hair into small locks. Suddenly she speaks up, looking at the both of you propped up on her elbow.
“I’m sorry I annoyed the both of you today. I just wanted your attention but I guess I just didn’t know how to say it without sounding pathetic.”
Both you and Ingrid sit up and look at each other in shock. Mapi sat herself up too, Ingrid and you moving around to kneel before her. She looks at her hands, picking at a hangnail.
“Darling, you never have to do that to get our attention. You just have to ask us, we’ll both drop everything for you.”
“You’ll never sound pathetic for asking us to love on you mi amor, that’s what we’re here for! You deserve it, you never have to hide it bebé.”
She smiles, biting her lip. You lean in and kiss her, gently caressing her leg. Ingrid moves behind her, kissing down her neck and rubbing her arms. Mapi moans into the kiss, hands flailing between you and Ingrid, unsure of what to do.
You lean over and kiss Ingrid over Mapi’s shoulder as she watches, eyes wide. Nothing turns her on more than seeing both her girlfriends making out. Ingrid takes the lead in the kiss, cradling your head how she wants, obviously licking into your mouth as your tongues taste each other. Mapi outwardly moans, which makes the both of you pull away slowly.
“Wanna join us upstairs, cariño?”
“Upstair–I am a CRIPPLE!”
“Just joking, hold on.”
You pick her up easily, leading the way up to your bedroom. Mapi leans into your neck and kisses you, biting down softly. You gently set her on the bed, stripping her of her clothes. Ingrid suddenly pulls you into her, kissing you hotly as she makes Mapi watch. She makes a show of groping and caressing you, your hands tangled in her messy hair. She moans when you tug, pulling away to attach your mouth to her unmarked neck. She keens, holding onto you as you bite and suck. Mapi is touching herself, hand dipped between her legs as she noisily gets wetter and wetter.
“Enjoying the show?” Ingrid asks her, hands beginning to pull off your clothes sensually. Mapi watched with dark eyes, slipping a finger into herself as you swayed your hips and kissed lower down Ingrid’s body. You did the same to her, pulling off her clothing and tossing them about the room. Mapi moaned loudly when you kneeled before Ingrid and kissed between her legs. You pulled her underwear down and leaned in, kissing her barely peeking clit. You spread her a little and feasted, licking and sucking on her as she pulled your hair and keened. Mapi had two long fingers inside her now, the wet sounds coming from both sides of the room as you aided each other in getting off. Ingrid pushes you to kneel before the bed, leaning back for her to ride your face. You let her get comfortable before she pulls your hair back and grinds herself down on your face. Your nose devotes itself to grazing her clit as your tongue sticks out for her to sink herself on. She groans and looks up to see Mapi panting and fingering herself, eyes focused on the scene in front of her.
Ingrid pulls away just before she cums, leaning in to give you a searing kiss. She groans and pulls your face into hers when she tastes herself so potently on your tongue. Mapi screams incoherent Spanish, cumming hard from the erotic live show she’s got to give herself mind-numbing pleasure.
The two of you grin and climb onto the bed to kiss her, lips locked in a hot three-way lip-smacking fight for dominance. Mapi comes out of top, pulling the both of you off her to make out for her to watch briefly. She smirks at you and kisses both of you separately, giving it to both of you how you like it.
“Grab my strap for me, darling.” Mapi tells you, you hop off the bed and do what she asks while Ingrid checks on her leg. It’s been a couple days and she’s really resting just as precaution, but the two of you worry about her anyway.
Ingrid helps her put it on, while you sit at the foot of the bed and watch. Mapi strokes it briefly before looking at you, gesturing you to come to her. You crawl to her slowly, swaying your hips just to tease. She smirks and waits patiently, pulling you to straddle her hips. The strap pokes your inner thigh when you sit on her, Ingrid leaning in to kiss you softly as Mapi caresses your thighs.
“Want you to ride me, niña.”
You whine and sit up, arousal becoming more evident when her hand slips between your legs and pulls away soaked. No one had touched you at this point, your pent-up arousal pooling generously in your cunt.
“No need for lube, wanna see you sit on my cock angel, come on.”
You listen, holding her cock steady for you to sink down onto it. You whine and shudder as it fills you, the stretch pleasant and painful at the same time. It was soul-snatchingly addicting. You bounced a little, testing the waters. Ingrid kissed you and slowly rubbed your clit, Mapi’s hands caressed your thighs and hips, softly encouraging you as you took more and more of her cock.
Finally, fully speared on her, you slowly rode her cock; moaning loudly when she gave your ass a couple hard smacks. Ingrid moved to ride her face, facing you to lean in and make out. It was pleasurable for all of you, your hands held Ingrid’s as she cupped your cheeks and kissed you harder. Mapi was devouring her pussy, noisy slurps filled the room as it blended with the slick sounds between your legs. You cried out her name when her cock grazed your spot, angling your hips to hit it each time you sank down on her. It made your head spin; her cock filled you deep and full.
Ingrid was also panting now, your hands groping at her breasts as she resumed circling her fingers over your swollen clit. Everyone was close, orgasms right there ready for us to grasp. You were riding Mapi harder now, bouncing on her thick cock, desperately pleading to cum. Ingrid was the same, grinding down on her face while reached back to pull on her hair.
You grabbed Ingrid’s face when you came, kissing her fervently as she came right after you. Mapi too reached her peak for the second time that night, chin wet with a fucked-out smile on her face.
//
“All healed now, Maps?” Ona asked her as you all got on the plane to travel to Frankfurt.
“Yes, I am fit as a fiddle. Did you know that sex is the best medicine?”
“I will injure you again, María. I may heal people for a living, but remember; I know how to undo the healing and that is a promise.” You told her, the whole plane laughing when the defender cowered into her seat and tried to hide behind Lucy as you and Ingrid gave her the death stare.

Maybe it's not so obvious

“Just leave already. You obviously don’t want to be here.”
Steve looked like he’d been kicked, and Eddie regretted his words immediately. Still, he had to put how he felt out there. He had to let Steve know that he was doing a terrible goddamn job of concealing the fact that he was miserable here. “Stop looking at me like that, like I just grew a second head. It’s true, and you know it.”
“No it isn’t.” Steve was still frowning, and Eddie had the urge to reach out and smooth a thumb over his brow. He was going to get wrinkles if he kept doing that– not that Eddie had a problem with that, but the hundreds of dollars of skincare shit in Steve’s bathroom probably didn’t appreciate him making the problem worse. Eddie shifted where he stood and carefully made his way past the boxes of Christmas decorations scattered around the living room. The crutches made it easier for him to get around, but he’d proven a few times now that he could still fall while he was using them. “Just– stop lying, Steve. I’ve seen the way you’ve been acting, man. You– you’ve barely touched me, you won’t look at me. Just– stop pretending, all right? Do us both a favor and– go.” He fell onto the couch with a grunt, spent several long moments getting comfortable before he finally looked up at Steve.
Steve, whose eyes were wide and wet. “Eddie, you don’t– you don’t really think I don’t want to be here, do you?” he asked quietly.
“I’m pretty goddamn sure I just made it obvious that I know you don’t want to be,” he said. His voice was soft, despite the heat he meant to be behind his words. “You don’t want to be here, and maybe– maybe I don’t want you here, either.” Lie. That was a lie. Eddie wanted Steve here so bad that it made him ache, which made Steve’s wanting to be gone so bad hurt that much more.
“You don’t… want me here?” Steve whispered. It was different if Eddie thought he didn’t want to be here, but if Eddie didn’t want him here…
Eddie couldn’t answer, though, was suddenly very interested in the hole in the knee of his jeans. He’d barely gotten the lie out once, if Steve poked and prodded it was all going to come spilling out.
“Eddie.” Steve took a second to move two boxes of decorations out of the way so Eddie could get around better later– always so goddamn thoughtful, even when he was being yelled at. “Eddie. Do… do you really not want me here?”
Eddie made a soft sound but didn’t look away from his knee. Why would Steve want to be here? Why would Steve choose to be in their shitty government bought trailer– which was less shitty than the trailer they’d lived in before, to be sure, but it was still a shitty trailer. Why would he want to be with Eddie when he had that big beautiful house, that he was sure was just dripping with decorations put up by some overpriced professional who carried a fucking chihuahua in her purse, even here in fucking Hawkins. His parents might not be there, but he could have Robin there, and the kids. Steve had no fucking reason to want to be here. With him.
“Eddie.” Steve’s voice was small, quiet, and when Eddie looked over at him and saw the hurt on his face, he wanted to kick his own ass.
“C’mon, Steve. I mean– why would you want to be here?” he asked, voicing some of his feelings finally. “I’ve seen you. The last few days you’ve walked around looking like you want to puke. I touch you, you pull away like you can catch something from me. If you’re tired of me–” He was cut off with a kiss, with Steve simultaneously pulling him in and surging forward himself, until their lips met in a kiss that was messy and clumsy.
It certainly did the job, though, and when they broke apart Eddie’s eyes were wide.
“I didn’t realize– I wasn’t trying to tell you that I don’t want to be here.” Steve swallowed hard. “I’ve been– trying not to let it out that I’m– these past few months, since you got out of the hospital… they’ve meant the world to me. Getting to know you, and your uncle… Fuck, Eddie. How could I want to be anywhere but here with you?” He swallowed. “I’ve been trying not to be a creep. I mean– I’ve helped you in the bath. What kind of pervert does that make me? And then the other day– you made a joke about mistletoe and I let myself hope for just a moment that maybe you could want me, too, but if you don’t–”
It was Steve’s turn to get cut off as Eddie gripped the lapels of his stupid fucking polo and pulled him in close. This kiss was clumsy, too, but as Steve wrapped an arm around Eddie’s waist and slipped closer, as Eddie leaned back into the corner of the couch and pulled Steve into his lap, it melted into something better, something warm and soft and so fucking tender.
“I want you here,” Eddie whispered. “I’ve wanted you here the whole time, Stevie baby.”
“And I want to be here,” Steve murmured back. He lifted a hand to comb through Eddie’s hair, like he’d done a dozen times before, only this time he wasn’t just trying to help Eddie keep it untangled after a bath. “I’ve wanted to be here the whole time. Since before you woke up.”
“I’m a fucking idiot.” Eddie shook his head and pulled Steve closer, until the other boy was practically lying on top of him. “Forgive me?” Steve bumped their noses together. “Only if you kiss me again.”
Eddie grinned, and was more than happy to comply.

Bring Back What Once Was Mine
Summary: It’s been five hundred years since the people of Teyvat celebrated the return of their Creator. Oh what a joyous day that was! However there was something off with the Divine One, had they always acted like this? Not only that, being in their presence didn’t bring the same warmth it did all those centuries ago, but to go against their creator is the highest form of treason they could commit. So when another shows up sharing the exact face as the one on the throne, many are conflicted on who to follow.
Characters Featured: Multiple Characters Mentioned
Note: Reader is the true creator of Teyvat. GN! Reader
Content Warning: Cult and Religious themes ahead! You’ve been warned.
Part one (You are here!) Part Two
This is not beta read. So I apologize for any mistakes.
Tumblr media
For the first time in decades, six of the archons stood in the same room.
It was an odd occurrence, most of them preferred to stay in their respective nations, the only time they would all meet up like this is if something dire was occurring.
One of these occasions was when the Divine One descended down to Teyvat, it was a day to remember for everyone. Celebrations went on for weeks, many hoping that the Creator would acknowledge them with a vision, mora, or even a simple glance. However, blinded by their own excitement, the people of Teyvat didn’t notice how… off the Creator was. Well, besides the ones who are considered to be the closest to them.
“We’ve all noticed that Their Grace has been acting a bit different ever since they returned,”
“Well they have been away for a while, maybe they need time to adjust?”
“That can’t be it, they’ve already been here for centuries. They would’ve adjusted by now.”
“Even though I never met them personally before they returned, anytime they are in Sumeru they are nothing like the scriptures say.”
“Maybe the Divine One is acting off due to what happened to…”
The room falls silent.
“Was there any response from the Cryo archon?”
“No she had locked down her nation years ago, nothing goes in and nothing comes out. Except for the Fatui… Mor- Zhongli, do you think that she knew something before the rest of us?”
“It is possible, but we cannot say for certain. Yet, we cannot act without knowing the truth.”
“I agree, acting with only suspicion rather than proof would be foolish.”
“So what do we do?”
“For now we do nothing, eventually something will come to light.”
Tumblr media
Present Day
The heat in the desert of Sumeru was unforgiving, you could get caught in a sandstorm or if you do not bring enough supplies that could also be the end for you. So it was only natural that when the Traveler and her floating companion noticed someone passed out in the sand, they would rush over to help.
“Hey Traveler…” Paimon begins, “look at their clothes, it’s not like anything we’ve seen before.”
The girl looks down at the unconscious person. Paimon was right, they weren’t wearing any type of clothing that indicated that they were from any nation in Teyvat.
Not to mention the sudden comforting feeling the girl had gotten once she had approached them. It was a feeling she hadn’t experienced since her and her brother were still traveling worlds together.
“Let’s wake them up.”
It took more shakes and taps than the Traveler was expecting but soon their eyes open and they sit up slowly, sand falling off of their body with every movement.
“Are you okay?” The Traveler asks.
They let out a soft groan turning to look at the girl and her companion.
“Where am I?” Were the first words to leave their mouth.
“Sumeru’s desert!” Paimon says, “erm, do you not remember how you got here? Traveler, maybe we should bring this person to Tighnari, they seem to be a bit disoriented.”
Without realizing it, the Traveler ignores Paimon keeping all of her attention on the mysterious person still sitting in the warm sand. She holds her hand out, “here let me help you up.” They take the Travelers hand standing up on their feet, dusting the leftover sand off their clothing.
The Traveler continues to keep their gaze locked on them while they dust off their clothing. Noticing her friends odd behavior, Paimon clears her throat and begins talking.
“Well this is Lumine, but everyone just calls her the Traveler. Paimon is Paimon.” The fairy gestures to her friend then to herself. “What’s your name?”
They hesitate for a moment before saying their name, “thank you Paimon and Lumine for waking me, there’s no telling what could’ve happened if you didn’t.”
Lumine feels a warmth bloom in her chest at their kind words.
“It’s not problem, the Traveler is always happy to help!” Paimon says happily, “but Paimon has to ask, why are you unconscious in the desert anyway?”
“I don’t… I can’t remember. The last thing I remember seeing was a blinding light.”
Paimon and Lumine exchange glances.
“Well if you want, you can tag along with us to Sumeru city, we have some really smart friends who may be able to help you there.” Lumine offers.
They smile, “thanks but I don’t want to intrude on your journey.”
“Oh you’re not intruding! The Traveler and Paimon we’re already heading to the city to meet the Creator!”
Lumine shoots the fairy a dirty look causing her to shrink back apologizing while also whispering something about how she wasn’t supposed to say that.
However they had already perked up at the mention of the Divine. “The Creator?”
Lumine lets out a defeated breath, “we weren’t supposed to say anything…” she glances at her companion, “but the Creator has finally granted me an audience.”
“Yeah the Travelers been asking for ages to meet them but the creator has always refused until she helped the Dendro Archon.”
Paimon gets another, less noticeable glare thrown her way.
“I see…” They began, “you must be something pretty special to meet someone like them.”
There was a small silence.
“Well we should probably get a move on, we shouldn’t keep someone this important waiting!”
———
The walk back to Sumeru City was awkward to say the least. It seems that ever since the Creator was brought up in the conversation, Lumine and Paimons new friends seemed to be more closed off than before. Maybe they were apart of the few that didn’t blindly worship the Creator? Or maybe they’re using this tactic to hold back their jealousy? Lumine wasn’t sure but she’d rather not know.
Soon enough the city was visible from where they were standing, it would only be another twenty minute hike until they reached the entrance.
“I hope that walk wasn’t too bad for you considering your condit-“
Lumine pauses mid-sentence, they were gone? Just a minute ago they were behind them and now they were nowhere to be seen.
“Paimon didn’t even hear them wander off, I hope they’re okay…” The fairy says worriedly. Lumine nods but continues forward, if they had left on their own then it was clear they could handle themselves. The Traveler just hopes that nothing bad happens to them and she hopes to see them again.

You didn’t feel bad ditching the two girls.
After all that wasn’t the worse thing you did to them today.
You lied to them multiple times, maybe the only true thing you told the two was your name, but it didn’t matter.
As soon as you laid eyes on the girl, you knew she wasn’t from this world. Maybe that’s why you didn’t feel that bad lying to her? Or maybe you’re just lying to yourself.
Truthfully, you only followed them after they had brought up the Creator.
Ah yes, the “Creator”
The was the main reason why you returned after all this time in the first place.
You were aware that they had crowned another as the Creator when it first happened five hundred years ago, and you would’ve returned then and extinguished them, but you were still mourning the loss of one of your nations. Then it simply slipped your mind. Until now, when Teyvat has cried out to you once more.
You can’t keep neglecting your creation, especially since you care about it deeply.
Now of course you could’ve just bursted in the room that the usurper was in and defeated them right then and there but you wanted more information.
How did they pass off as you so easily? More importantly, how did anyone believe it?
Sure there’s a chance they may look like you but there’s no way they could replicate your power or your connection to the world itself.
You huff hiding behind a tree watching the two girls look around for you before eventually giving up heading towards the city.
This was going to take more effort than you thought.
Tumblr media
The first thing Lumine noticed when she entered the dark room was the sheer coldness. She couldn’t see them at the top of the stairs but the presence of being in the room with them was already overwhelming.
She was in the room with the Creator.
Despite all the questions she had, her throat felt dry, like she couldn’t talk or rather, she didn’t have permission yet.
The girl kneels before them locking her gaze on the ground, she was slightly disappointed that she wasn’t the only one in the room. There were many Sages in the room and even Nahida was off to the side giving her a welcome smile.
“Traveler…” a voice brakes through the silence causing Lumine to tense, “I’m so happy to finally meet you.”
“I’m honored to be before you,” she stutters. Why did she feel like this? She met four Gods already, but why did she feel so tense around them? Like she had to watch her words carefully or something bad may happen.
“Please come here,” their voice calls out.
Lumine stands up shakily walking slowly towards the stairs, she keeps her gaze lowered as she walks up slowly. Soon enough she was right in front of the Creator. The girl goes to kneel once more but she stops when another order comes instead.
“Will you look at me?”
A audible gasp leaves the Travelers mouth as she stares out their face. This was the first time the Traveler had ever been face-to-face with them ever, although their elegance was undeniable their face was unmistakably the same as the person in the desert.
Without realizing Lumine mutters out the name of the person she had met just a few hours before.
Now it was time for everyone else to gasp.
A plethora of snide remarks and comments were thrown at the girl, many yelling out how dare she calls the creator by their true name or how she needs to show more respect.
The creator holds out a hands and the room immediately goes silent.
“Traveler,” their voice sickly sweet. “How are you aware of my true name?”
The blonde fiddles with her fingers for a moment, “Someone in the desert had told me that was their name. They had the same face as you.”
Their eyes widen but quickly relax as they uncross their legs to stand and approach the outlander.
“Are you telling me you saw someone running around with my face and my name?”
Lumine nods.
They rest a hand on the blonde girls shoulder giving her a soft smile.
“Where is this person now?”
Lumine shakes her head, “I’m not sure, they disappeared before I got to the city.”
They nod, “don’t worry, you didn’t do anything wrong. I just want you to find this person for me and bring them here, okay?”
Words fail her and she nods at their request.
“Great. You may leave.”
———
Lumine lets out a deep breath once she was out of the room. Just being in that room made the hair on the back of her neck stand on end.
“Traveler!” Paimon floats over to her friend, “how did it go? Do they know anything about the unknown God you’re looking for?”
“They had the same face.”
“Huh?”
“The Divine One and the person in the desert.” Lumine clarifies, “they had the same face and name.”
“How’s that possible?”
The Traveler decides to stay silent, she didn’t know either and now she was tasked on finding this person and bringing them here.
“Lumine!” A voice calls out.
She turns around relaxing visibly once she meets their gaze. It was Nahida.
“Oh Nahida! It’s been a while, how’s the Wanderer?”
The Dendro Archon smiles, “he’s perfectly fine but that’s not why I approached you.”
Lumine was completely aware why the Archon decided to approach her, she was in the room when she had her ‘outburst’ with the Creator.
“You had said you saw someone who looked exactly like Their Grace, right? I was wondering if I could tag along with you in finding them.”
Lumine raises a brow, “really? You want to tag along?”
“Let’s just say I have my own suspicions…” Nahida says. “Now, where was the last place you had seen them?”

son chaeyoung x f!reader
synopsis: is it wrong to be in love with your best friend who’s a tattoo artist?
warnings: fluff ; smut ; friends to lovers ; tattoos
a/n: for @nr1chaedickrider, celebrating chae day early! so i hope you guys enjoy (idk how to feel ab the pacing in this one but lower the expectations, and then drop them again.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
let’s ask the question again: is it wrong to be in love with your tattoo artist?
well, if it is chaeyoung then you’re completely, with no reassurance, fucked.
chaeyoung has been your tattoo artist since the two of you were both eighteen fresh out of high school with no money to each other's names whatsoever. chaeyoung was actually an apprentice, shaky with her gun and worrying over whether she placed the stencil correctly.
she was the one who did your first ever tattoo, and you were chase’s first solo tattoo ever.
so there shouldn’t be any wonder if you were in love with her, something straight out of a romance novel or those corny, coming of age movies that could be easily replaced with something else.
it’s only up until now that chaeyoung is the only person that’s ever allowed to ink your skin, the only individual that’s responsible for every design etched in skin and you’re in love with every single one of them. she’s a brilliant artist and you’d honestly never go to anyone else.
but also, chaeyoung is insanely hot. like an absolute hit out of the ballpark in addition to being the sweetest person that you’ve ever met. you’d never expect it of her with a gorgeous tattoo on her lower back that you don’t even know what it is because she’s never actually made it clear herself. aside from all of the imitating and artistic ink, she has that sweet side, a calming presence while also being incredibly patient with her clients, kind nearly to a fault. to this day, chaeyoung barely changed her hourly rate, at least not for you.
at first, it started to be relatively cheap when she was working towards her license. once she got it, her rate went up a bit, but capped out to a hundred an hour. you know from the online website that she charges far more now and despite that, chaeyoung never charged you any higher. you suspected that it was because you accidentally told her how long it took you to save up for a tattoo, back when med school was sucking the life out of you, draining every cell in your body to pay back those stupid student loans.
chaeyoung asked you why you haven’t been coming in as often, and you being the idiot you were letting the reason spill out your mouth. you’d always tip her more than enough to cover the difference which resulted in her complaining about it after. she gave up, letting it be a normal thing between you and her, finding new and creative methods to force her to take the extra cash that you’re paying. last time that happened, you slipped it between one of her vinyls that she set off to the side before her session with you.
the next thing you’d see on your phone were the string of curses about an hour later and it was clearly the highlight of your day.
however, chaeyoung would also be snarky as hell and give you more than good when riled up. you know that all too well, it’s seen in the years of knowing her, all of the dollars and hours spent upon being stabbed by a needle, but you know you’ll be in good hands with chaeyoung better than any other client she’s been with.
to backtrack, you are completely in love, and you think you sold yourself short because:
1. chaeyoung is way out of your league.
2. chaeyoung doesn’t date her clients.
the news itself was a tough pill to swallow when you foolishly told mina that she was your favorite tattoo artist and somi doubled down saying that you were totally in love with chaeyoung. of course, mina being always so forward with what she wanted took it upon herself to get her own tattoo from the said lovely tattoo artist and hopefully beat you to getting with her, just to piss you off even more.
in all fairness, mina did it in retaliation for the new year’s kiss incident that was never really spoken about ever again, but still who in their right mind would go for something like that?
blind arrogance and anger aside, you had gone with mina as support while also fending off any advances towards chaeyoung in the form of damage control. this effort would go up in flames and once chaeyoung had slipped her gloves on, mina kept her cool like she always does hitting on chaeyoung, making you stop cold in your tracks by fear that she would accept.
a part of you was relieved to hear her flat out reject mina, by saying that she was a cool friend to have, but ultimately, “no thanks.”
then the following sentence just sent your heart down into oblivion when you heard the words, “i don’t date clients.” come out of her mouth in record time. after that incident, it was a tough pill to swallow, but safeguarding all of these feelings for chaeyoung was locked away in a little box sunk to the bottom of the ocean.
oddly enough, it hadn’t worked and yet here you were, another day with the tattoo appointment with the very focus of obsession the next day. there’s a lot of things going through your head–
regret was one of them.
second being hatred.
both of these things aren’t enough power to really cancel the appointment, but it’s fine.
working the overnight shift down at the local hospital because there was an opening in your availability, so you took it. surprisingly enough, it was quiet for once. so just chatting on the seats along the hallway of the ER while your coworkers were getting some filing and charting done to kill the hours. thing’s are going great as they are.
“y/n, weren’t you just here yesterday morning?” yuqi, one of the senior nurses asking across from the check-in desk opposite of you.
“yeah,” you respond cheerfully, spinning the iced macchiato you saved in the break room to drink. this shit is aboslute dog piss, you’re thinking to yourself downing it, but it’s times like these where you’ve got to do anything to stay awake.
yuqi frowns, disapproving and the gaze sends a shiver down your spine like she emulated your mom scolding you. “did you take a break by any chance?”
“qi, my thirty was a little over an hour ago.”
“when do you get off?”
“about an hour and a half,” you tell her with a post-it note stack between your fingers. yuqi turns around for a moment, whispering numbers from the clipboard she’s skimming through next to the walkway before turning back, expression stern but prospective.
“alright, we have more than enough people to last uss for the rest of the night, so why don’t you go ahead and get room 8 set up before heading out, i feel bad that you’re working here back to back.”
it’s an offer you couldn’t say no to, practically keeping yourself awake with the singular functioning brain cell godforbid standing on two feet - and the appointment with chaeyoung is at nine-thirty, so getting those couple hours of sleep sounds a whole lot nicer rather than showing up looking vegetable dead the moring after.
“bless your work, qi.”
she reaches over the desk to lightly tap your forehead, keeping you awake with her cold fingers, “you’re one of my best people, can’t have you crashing on the floor like the other patients, right?”
“you tell wendy that, and i’ll request another schedule change!” you chortle before swiping the chart from yuqi’s hand, stepping your way towards room 8. it was way too early for you to be this obnoxious, but hey, with three cans worth of red bull and two latte’s from nana’s coffee shop you bought before your shift this is the kind of energy you would have at 3 am.
you’ve done well for yourself being popular with most of the nurses on your floor and you like to think it’s because you’re good at your job and not for the reason of being adopted as the surrogate baby despite being the youngest of the bunch. you’re not losing sleep over it, nor picky, but it’s better being loathed for incompetence like most of the other new nurses arriving here.
looking down at the clipboard, you’re skimming through the charts while the brain is rapidly running through all of the symptoms considering the doctor’s potential diagnosis and how you should proceed.
the name on the line says: son chaeyoung, 24, sprained ankle.
quizzical, you remember the name somehow, but can’t quite place it where. not that you’d care though, almost out of here and with about two to three days off, the break from responsibilities was so close to tasting that you’re not putting any more thought into it. though, it could be because of the similar age and possibly the same university or whatever.
a move of the curtain with the back of your hand while your leg pulls the rolling chair from behind for you to sit on without even looking up.
“good morning ms. son. i’m not sure if the doctor has already told you, but i see here that you just have a small ankle sprain, so we’re just gonna wrap it up with a few bandages and you should be all set to leave.”
you still haven’t looked up to see ms. son just yet, instead of giving the usual tangent while getting yourself into the right position while getting some bandages from one of the drawers below. this was the fifth sprained ankle in this shift alone and you just wish that you can just say that there wasn’t any need to come to urgent care for all of this because, most people could just deal with wrapping this at home, but nothing wrong with going through the checks from a qualified professional, so you don’t say that.
“y/n?”
so that’s the funny part. the damn voice that makes your head snap up instantaneously to properly observe your patient becuase you know the sound of your name bouncing off the walls of her mouth and teeth.
chaeyoung.
even at three in the freaking morning, she’s still pretty as ever with hair disheveled, wearing black sweats and a grey oversized hoodie. this was one of the few times that you could see barely any of her tattoos, the only ones that are visible are the small ones that were marked across different parts of her fingers, a small hyperfix you have for noticing and dreaming that you get to kiss them, along with–
ah ah ah, we’re on the clock here, remember?
“chae.” you breathe her name without really thinking about it and a smile lights up her face. “i’m not supposed to see you until nine.”
she cracks a grin, and there’s the girl that you’re so familiar with, it never gets old. “i’m not complaining, though.”
chaeyoung’s face blushes at this and you follow from the pretty hints of pink from the peak of her cheeks down to the elegant arch of her neck. you don’t know why you said those very words, rarely ever letting a remark with that caliber out in the terms of flirting because it’s never really something that’s to be said outside of the tattoo parlor - and also because you’re deathly afraid that she’s gonna turn you down, telling you that she doesn’t want to see you again, but you need to see more of that blush that’s burning her cheeks by the second.
“i–uh, didn’t know that you were a nurse.” chaeyoung switches up the subject quickly, sounding shocked. you don’t take any offense to that however, let alone blame her. this career choice wouldn’t even be in the considerable options for the person that’s been tatted a few things on her left arm with a back tattoo also.
“yeah, i’m actually fresh out of nursing school.”
“ah.” she breathes out, lifing your gaze up to see her face.
she’s so fucking cute.
“right, now would you mind if i can take a look at that ankle, miss son?” you observe, grining while chaeyoung scrambles to swing her injured foot over the edge of the bed.
“my–well, my roommate brought me in because i tripped on one of her shoes and then my ankle started to swell up. i know this is a bit of an overreaction, and i’m sorry.” she rambles nervously while you’re trying not to internally swear that you’re falling more and more in love every time you hear the sounds of happiness coming out of her mouth.
chaeyoung, your best friend. a badass, slightly introverted tattoo artist who’s also hot, with her gun and showing off endless amounts of creamy skin on her upper body, drawn up with different designs, but chaeyoung swaddled up in loungewear and twisting over her words was also adorable.
“nothing to worry about, this was the last thing i expected to happen on my shift tonight.” you acknowledge, bring up her foot gently to your lap so that you can start bandaging. sparing a quick look up to just be sure, and fair enough, the blush is still there, now even more apparent than a few moments ago, fighting back the grin.
she’s in your place of work today, so you can do as you please.
it’s quick work really, and with the bandage wrapped with a few metal clips, it’s secured so that her foot doesn’t move too much before pulling away, satisfied with the work.
“thanks.” chaeyoung tells you shyly and you’re fighting to not get over how cute she’s being today, my goodness.
“no need, just elevate it when you get home and obviously don’t do anything to strenuous, or it could get worse.”
“does this mean i have to cancel our appointment tomorrow then, you know i wouldn’t want to do anything strenuous.” chaeyoung asks teasingly.
aside from all of the butterflies flying in your stomach, the urge to tell chaeyoung exactly what kind of strenuous activities she shouldn’t be doing like doing a stupid dance move or tripping on another shoe - because she’s the kind of person to do that again, and it will, so you’re shaking your head while the both of your laugh.
“chae!” a voice interrupts you two and you see a girl standing behind the curtain with a water cup in her hand.
“manda, what the hell did i tell you?! keep your voice down, this is a hospital.”
the girl you assume to be manda does shut up, before not giving you a very thorough look over that makes you feel a little bit uncomfortable.
“oh, y/n. this is manda, my overprotective roommate that brought me in because she’s impulsive. and manda this is y/n, she’s my best friend since wearing diapers and a regular at my shop.” chaeyoung introduces you, a cautious tone in her voice.
you were going to exchange some niceties only to be stopped by a gasp from the sound of your name.
“you’re telling me that this is the y/n? the day one that you’ve been gushing over about for god knows how—” chaeyoung’s quick to slap her hand over manda’s mouth, grinning weirdly while grabbing her socks and shoes while dragging manda away.
“well, it’s been nice seeing you lovely. actually i’ll be seeing you tomorrow anyway, so this has been fun. i’ll make sure to keep my ankle in shape.” chaeyoung calls back to you, totally ignoring her own words as clearly puts weight on the said injured foot, towing her roomate away, hand over her mouth still.
“wait!” you exclaim to her peeking out the doorway, “you have to sign the release form!” trying to tell her, but she’s already past the corner and into the main lobby of seats without even putting her shoes back on. the whole dilemma makes you laugh.
maybe the chance of getting with your best friend is a lot more apparent than it seems.
chaeyoung, on the other hand, wants to die. honest to god for the feeling of crawling into a cave to rot for eternity.
she’s done a really great job for as long as she could not letting you know that she loves you, while also wanting nothing more than to just have a full-fledged confession scene occur out in the rain. it’s only this possible for her feeling this way for years now.
unlike you, she’s had her fair share of slips-ups. as a matter of fact, she’s absolutely god awful at keeping things somewhat professional with you and if her brother jeonghoon found out how often she’s taken advantage of your trust as a tattoo artist, then she knew that things wouldn’t be pretty.
admittingly, chaeyoung also hides the fact of the countless times your clothes were off in the shop. it didnt’ mean to start off like this, but any chance that she got, she wanted you to show as much skin as possible - you know, for stenciling purposes and whatnot.
a simple tattoo on the arm? roll up the sleeve.
a tattoo in between your breasts and under off to the side? you’re cupping your breasts for her on the bench.
even a freaking ankle tattoo? you’d happily oblige with taking off your sweatpants when you didn’t even need to.
it didn’t matter, whatever chaeyoung wanted for her hobby, she would get.
all of that would be thrown under the bus because her roommate manda outed her which makes the whole act completely derailed, and she doesn’t know how she’s gonna face you in a few hours.
chaeyoung has known you since that one random middle school event that was probably a halloween party for the class one day where you dressed up as coraline and she was emulating the early forms of her gothic, grunge core aesthetic. you took it upon yourself to compliment her appearance and ever since that interaction, you and her have been attached to the hip.
it was some achievement that you’d be the first person chaeyoung would tattoo, but it meant a lot to her. marking you up to make her art was something that she appreciated along with being the first customer.
your body for her was her own personal canvas, no one else has had the luxury to ink your skin except for her, and the thrill that comes with it is just amazing. in the design book, your tattoos are the ones that chaeyoung always showcases, because they are the epitome of perfection, and she makes sure of it. she’s been the person to point at for every single body modification on you up until now.
it had been a little bit after the visit to the emergency room, and now she’s going to see you, cursing at the fact that her roommate manda and her big mouth. she groans once sitting up the bed, getting up with a hitch in her step because of her ankle - so much for dressing up, it’ll be a lazy outfit for today.
even though it hadn’t been that long–considerably a while–-since chaeyoung had last seen you, completely forgetting the fact that you were a nurse, but that just made you hotter in chaeyoung’s eyes. it’s insane to even think about for your own good, a healthcare professional that saves lives on the regular, yeah you’re instantaneously hotter.
a quick shower and dress up is how chaeyoung does on a typical workday to see her favorite client: a simple shirt that shows all of the tattoos she has on her arms. on the agenda for you was some backwork and knowing that you love to have your head laid onto the side, she hopes that it’ll be a good view to see all of the designs that are on chaeyoung’s arms.
making her way to the kitchen, chaeyoung’s eyes were set on manda who looks to be making an apology breakfast for her.
“chae, you’re up! how’s your ankle?” she asks. chaeyoung doesn’t respond, just sitting down and glaring at the back of her roommate's head. manda turns around, a frown marring her normal happy face and lets out a sigh of irritation. “i’m sorry! i don’t know why i said that but i’m sure that it’ll be okay! maybe y/n loves you back and this is just something you needed, consider this a favor!”
chaeyoung swipes the jug of juice, pouring herself a glass before tossing the cap, clearly unhappy with this development of everything so far.
“hey! what the hell! i said i was sorry!
chaeyoung sighs, hanging her head while manda sets down a plate of waffles down, mumbling a sound of acceptance. “it’s fine, just please keep your big mouth shut about it, okay? don’t even think about coming by the shop, i’ll be tattooing her in a bit.’
“you got it.” manda says, nodding her head resolutely.
as chaeyoung prepares to dig into her breakfast, manda sits across from her, looking like she wants to say a few more things and she figures that it’s better to get it all out on the table now rather than later. “just say it.”
“you’ve known your best friend for so many years now. why are you staying quiet about it? you’ve been her tattoo artist and you haven’t done a single move on her!”
“god, can you just–”
“you’re not taking advantage of it! for all i know maybe y/n feels the same way!” manda finally says before pondering to add anything else. instead, “okay, i’m done with my rant now.”
chaeyoung considers her words, and she’s not wrong. the chemistry between you and her has always been crazy, just by being in the same room as you, it drives her up the wall in some cases. while manda might be saying is true, it also solidifies the fact that every tattoo that she put on you was an extension of her no matter how long it took or how it looked.
she remembers you laughing at all the times of her taking forever, messing around with the size and placement of the stencil. you’d tell her every single time that it was fine, it was those kinds of appointments which turned into hangouts despite the difference in schedules between you two.
“you’re right.” chaeyoung says, “because you told her that i like her, and now well something has to happen. i can’t ignore this anymore.
manda simply giggles and chaeyoung puts on her glasses before getting ready to head out the door. she has a client to see soon after all.
now in her own workspace, chaeyoung fiddles around with the different trinkets and equipment about several times because of her sheer nerves because what was she going to do? you know about her massive crush now and there’s nothing but nerves ever since. were you going to say anything about it? what would she do? how should she react to it?
she hates it here, it’s because she’s never been this nervous with you before.
all of her thoughts would have to wait when they’re interrupted by you entering the room, wearing black baggy jeans and a simple black sweater that might be a little bit cropped that exposes your lower abs. in scrubs or in normal clothes, you looked way to good.
“hey,” you snap her attention towards you with a bright smile. “your brother at the front just told me to come in, i figured that you were busy getting ready so–”
“that’s okay! i-i was just cleaning a bit, go ahead and sit down while i get the stencil ready.”
chaeyoung can’t believe what she sounds like right now, she needs to get it together.
“everything good with you chae?” you ask her while setting yourself on the bench.
chaeyoung is definitely not okay, at this point she wants to melt into slime on the floor, but you haven’t brought up manda’s big fumble so things might be fine. she hates how you say her nickname, it’s so natural, but why does it feel so different now?
“i’m good, even better now that you’re sitting down i’ll show you the sketch.”
you comply, eyes parting like saucers when chaeyoung shows you the sketch of the symbols that you were going to have on the right side of your back. chaeyoung herself hand picked the words and the meaning behind them so needless to say, “my god!? i love it!”
“it’ll be somewhat similar to what i have on my back already, so i took a bit of inspiration to be honest.”
“so, matching tattoos basically?”
“yep.”
“best friends for so many years and we’ll finally have matching tattoos.”
the hum of the tattoo gun starts to buzz in the room and chaeyoung is blasting some music to help mask it, helps her get in the zone.
your session was a little over two hours, the outlining was probably the most challenging part since chaeyoung wouldn’t stop drooling at your toned back at times for you to say her name in order to snap out of it. other than that, most of the work had been finished and the last thing was to get the shading in between the open spaces of the symbols.
“i think we can have this finished by tomorrow.” she says to you, looking up when she has the mirror reflecting the almost completed project. “what do you think?”
“you sure? i felt like we can have this done by today.”
chaeyoung leans over to you sitting upright, wrapping your new ink on your shoulder while her face was extremely close to yours, face burning up when she feels your breath hot on her neck. “i’d love to keep you here so that we can catch up, but i do have another client in about thirty minutes.”
how does tomorrow sound?”
“you might be in pain from today as it is.”
“so? this is nothing new for the both of us.” you tell her, fingers waving forward and backward in the space below while maintaining eye contact.
“you’re an idiot.”
“but you love that don’t you?”
chaeyoung giggles, and you’re putting back on your sweater before standing up on the way out of the door. “so i’ll see you soon then?” you ask, and chaeyoung just nods with a dimple peaking out while your back is turned to her, door closing behind leaving her alone.
she’s definitely fucked, and it’s even worse when she can’t even speak to you properly anymore.
“y/n.”
“hmm?”
“stop moving.”
you don’t move again in the next session the following day. chaeyoung props her elbow on the line of your lower back, catching on the corner of her eye when your upper back muscles tense up from the sudden pressure. she could get lost on how your body looks from the back and the front, but she loses the willpower to (god help her delusional mind when she finally sits back down on the chair)
eventually, she finally finishes the symbol design in a matter of an hour and to her honesty, it’s one of the best works that chaeyoung had on you for a while now.
you look at it from the full body mirror on the door, but you’re not even paying single attention to the new design when chaeyoung sees your eyes not even looking at the tattoo, but at her. “you idiot! you’re not even looking!”
“so, i already did.” you retort, and chaeyoung wants to smack you.
“do you not like it?”
“i do, it’s amazing, but this is not what i’m thinking about right now.”
chaeyoung and her two functioning boba brain cells managed to connect the dots: you were talking about her. as cheesy as it sounds but she falls for it, and had already fallen for you.
“so, are we gonna keep ignoring what’s happening between us, or do i have the chance to ask you out on a date?”
“y/n, i know you’re one of my best friends for all time now, but you forget that i don’t date clients.”
you laugh, stepping closer to her where the space suddenly gets small in the room. physical touches between friends had always been natural with chaeyoung. for some reason, chaeyoung can’t function properly when you’re grabbing her cheek with your slender fingers, imposing your eyes into her’s, staring into her soul.
“i think you can make an exception for me then.”
chaeyoung slaps your hand lightly away from her face, hiding her blush terribly with that same dimple under her cheek breaking through. you’ve already won. “i’ll come get you at 7:30, so be ready by then.”
chaeyoung too, has also won, without having any role in this development at all.
despite being excited for the first date, that gets swept under the bus because once you were at the doorstep at her apartment, chaeyoung decides that it doesn’t matter if she eats or not (she’s gonna eat regardless). she wanted you and needed you now.
outside of the hospital and tattoo parlor, chaeyoung has danced around the idea of hooking up with her best friend, and luckily the stars aligned when you felt the same way. the dinner was completely unnecessary for her to get you.
and, she motions you inside, following dutifully, taking off your shoes and sliding them into the rack nearby. “i made a reservation at that one place you always liked and after i thought we could just hit the roller rink after.”
chaeyoung ignores you, instead she grabs your arm to drag you to her room. “chae? what’s happening–”
she shuts you up by kissing you, pressing you against the door. swiping her tongue across the opening of your mouth, letting out a moan once she finally achieves what she’s been building up to for so long. you’re quick to pick up on the message, i mean shit–you could let her do all the work for all you care, but that would take out some of the fun anyway.
your tongue continues to fight for dominance against hers, hands sliding across her body, reaching down for her ass, grasping it that makes her let out a whine, grinding your knee into the space between her legs. chaeyoung is the first to pull away, resting her head on the front of your shoulder, “fuck–do you know how long i’ve–”
“we really doing this or what?”
“i’m gonna lose my mind if you don’t get your fingers inside of me right now, so shut the fuck up.”
her lips are quick to get on yours again, hands sliding underneath her dress and onto her ass, clutching it with everything in your grip enough to get bruises on them, and you will. chaeyoung slips off your aviator jacket, leaving you just in your shirt while it showcases the tattoos that she put on you across your arms.
managing to reach the bed rather than just getting it down right on the floor, you sit while chaeyoung strips her white oversized sweater, revealing a lacy black bra underneath and all of the tattoos that were on her arms: the line of carrots, her birdcage, the heart and arrow on the side of her neck. everything about her was so alluring, and it’s making you crave for her more.
she’s quick to straddle you, breathless, like she too is nervous for what’s about to happen. you laugh, “what?” she asks, letting herself nestle into the cushiony seat of your thighs, hands on her bra before it’s up in the air and out of the picture.
“nothing,” you say, landing a feathery kiss onto her small, perky breast. “you’re so quick to jump on this like you’ve been wanting this to happen.”
chaeyoung tries to respond, only to let out a moan when your mouth lands on her nipple, slicking it up with saliva while you massage the other one. she shivers at the lovingly touches you’re giving her, lightly playing with the back of your hair on your neck as you indulged in her tits.
“god, you’re—so fucking–” she grips your head deeper into her chest. “please–y/n–i can’t–”
your eyes look up to hers, mouth still on her nipple, pulling away for a second to catch your breath. “you look so good for me, pretty–god–” chaeyoung pulls you up to her face for another kiss, groaning again for more need, and drowning in pure bliss.
quick to elevate the next move, you flip her over, bedding being ruffled when her back hits the sheets, a laugh leaves her lips and your mouth is all over her neck. chaeyoung loves this, she’s been waiting for this fantasy to be fulfilled for the longest time now and it’s finally happening all at once.
“i’m gonna make you feel good now. does that sound good?”
“please.” chaeyoung stutters out.
“anything for you, pretty.”
you then start to trail down to her sweatpants, tugging them away, smiling in satisfaction when it’s a lacy red g string with a visible wet spot in the middle, her hips twitch when you press a finger lightly across the fabric. they’re the next article of clothing to go, kissing up her inner thighs and chaeyoung can’t bear to look at the action of the top of your head happening down to her core.
“baby, you’re dripping for me.”
“f-fuck–”
“that’s fine, i like it when you’re excited for me. it’s cute.”
not even giving her the luxury to speak after that, you latch your mouth onto her cunt and the sudden surge of pleasure makes her groan out loud that even catches you off guard. the surprise is also apparent when she places her feet on the small dips on your collar bones, giving you more area to work with as you’re lapping her pussy up.
chaeyoung reaches for your hair the more you let your tongue dampen from the wetness of her slit, trying different ways to get new tones of moans out from her, this method works when you slip two fingers inside her and my god she’s soaked.
“ngh–fuck y-y/n–baby, i—yes–yes, right there.”
she’s jerking and grasping for anything within arms reach, to keep her mind off from the spot inside her that’s being sucked away by you. it’s fucking her head when your tongue reaches deep, ass off the mattress before you restrain her down.
“don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop–”
you hum into her core again, pulling away slightly over her swollen cunt, “you’re close are you?”
“shit–why did you—”
“i have an idea.”
chaeyoung then sees you rise up from the edge of the bed, shifting her back more onto the mattress before slipping out of your pants and underwear, waddling through to chaeyoung’s head before turning around with your pussy hovering over. you then see chaeyoung lick her lips in anticipation of what you were doing, the eyes telling you how much she wanted you and you couldn’t complain about it.
“don’t be shy, y/n. sit on me.”
oh.
smiling at her command, you press your pussy onto her mouth, stifling a moan before you lean over to resume eating chaeyoung out. the sounds that fill up the room are sinful, reactions of approval with hands grabbing at skin, humming inside each other's core to edge out one over the next. chaeyoung is a quick learner when she returns the same treatment you gave her by slipping a finger against your folds, clutching the blanket next to you two while you feverishly grind your cunt over her tongue.
two could play at that game, and you up the ante with licking up her folds, thumb tapping her clit once, then twice, then a third. she’s shaking into the bed, you’re trying to catch your breath - everything about this first time is euphoric - it’s amazing to relish in when you hook your hands underneath her thighs, finishing up the course that you’ve been craving over the planned dinner. then–
“fuck, baby. i’m so–so close.”
chaeyoung is begging to cum, and you’re fighting the tightrope in your stomach to not cum before her, but you’re picking it up and she is preactially yelping at this point. eventually, she lets go, trembling when you clean up the arousal, that savory juice that is soaking your fingers and leaking out of her well-worked cunt.
you’re quick to follow too, gripping her waist and forcing your hips down on her, nearly suffocating to the point before you also let loose from the swirling mouth and tongue eating you up from the inside. shaking once you lift your hips off of chaeyoung’s face, plopping down beside her and leaving sloppy kisses all over her face and neck, drunk on the scent from you and her.
it might’ve been a few hours or the next morning, and the dinner reservation is out of speculation.
chaeyoung is the first to wake up and takes the time to observe her new piece of art in a more closer detail. it’s been a while since she had a chance to look at you like this, tracing along the slopes of your cheeks, the dunes across your chest and waist, down to your hips. she sees the ink all over your arm, especially the one in between your breasts - the inscribed saying under your right boob. everything about you was impressive, and the shading was spot on.
“admiring the curation?” you ask her, voice labored while you peek down through your pretty lashes.
“yeah, i’m good at what i do, i can see why you always came back to see me.”
“oh, trust me. you are, but that’s not why i come back to you.” you break a grin and chaeyoung blushes through the compliment,
“shut up.” she says, slapping your arm in retaliation.
“i do like the one you just did on me recently, the symbol and everything. now cool that we match.” you say, showing the underside of your wrist, “i want this one to be filled in. something meaningful too by the way.”
chaeyoung scowls. “it’ll be small, but what do you want?”
“hmm,” you’re being pensive, staring up at the ceiling. “i dunno, something that’s already on you that can be put on me.”
chaeyoung then shakes her head. “no.”
you laugh, “would chae be sufficient for you instead of the tattoos you have already?”
“deal.”
“okay, i’ll come by next week to get that taken care of.”
“i’ll get one on me also.”
you comb her hair, looking at her confused, “what do you mean?” raising a brow after.
“you’ll see later.” she tells you.
you find out later indeed, when you’re going down on her on the kitchen counter top, noticing the bandage that finds your name inked just over the small divot of her hip.

Shared Bliss
Soloist Choi Yunjin (Jini) x Male Reader
[Part 1?]
Tumblr media
A/N: I just feel releasing this short fic for some reason. Maybe it’s my impatient ass or something. Anyway, I truly enjoyed writing this one so I hope you enjoy it too. Let me know if you’re up for a 2nd part. Ideas are also welcome to my inbox! Good day to all!
To define the relationship you share with Jini is difficult, but to be bothered by such trivial things is a waste of time. People are going to think what they want at the end anyway.
Both of you possess the same traits; carefree, live-in-the-moment type of people, cherish, and spend the youth before it’s gone. No commitments. Feel the joy of life outside responsibilities and duties. Time waits for no man at all.
It started in the old fashion way—kicked off as high school peers that escalated until college. Ironic as it is sounds, met at the same company and now coworkers in the present. Same department, just different sections and ahead of her for a year. Taking into account Jini’s exaggerated storytelling (at least from your point of view) on why she left her previous job: the weight of just being there was unbearable. She said that she’d rather work as a waitress at a pub or something.
Sharing various moments with each other, there’s this bond and connection that felt exclusive and genuine. A safe space—comfort and no judgement. Romance? It doesn't cross your mind a bit and not would even dare to step into that unfamiliar realm.
Here’s the thing: random chances often come by to bring good things, chaos, or something in between the two. In your case, Lady Luck bestowed upon you the last one.
It was one Friday night—her occasional invites for dinner or plain drinking session are something you’ve become accustomed to. A fifteen-minute ride is all it takes. Not bad, better to spend the rest of the night outside than get bored alone.
“Still gets me,” you thought, looking at the front of her house. The amount of detail and work she put are remarkable. After a few steps, you pressed the doorbell.
“Oh, hey loser. Thought you wouldn’t come,” she said, “Just a sec. I’m coming.”
She did not even bother to ask who’s on the other side, like she don’t have any visitor besides you. After waiting for a few seconds, the door opened, and there she is—Jini in her off-shoulder dress with rose imprint.
Stunning... Captivating... Tempting.
Three words to describe the sight right before you, in flesh.
Her dress did its job flaunting her figure. Her presence that exude an intimidating aura—fierce, attitude, and boldness. One fierece look and she can make anyone kneel in a matter of seconds.
“Hey, loser. Hey!”
“What?” you replied, still in shock.
“You zoned out, are you okay?” Jini asked, you just shook your head a bit.
“Sure?”
“Yeah, yeah... Hundred percent.”
“Come in then, it’s freezing out here.”
Few common dishes and cans of beer were already placed on the table in the living room. “Not much, but that's a free meal. Besides, I’m not a bad cook,” she winked.
“Full of yourself sometimes, aren’t you?”
“I think the word ‘confident’ is what you’re looking for, mister.”
“Fine, fine... Let’s just eat,” you said, before sitting and opening a can of beer.
“Hah! I won!”
Throughout the meal, different topics fueled the flow of conversation. Some of them were about work, things in the past, gossips, funny, sad, and anything that comes into mind until all that's left on the table were the beers.
“A question,” said Jini, bringing seat closer so she can lean forward towards you across the table.
“Be my guest.”
“Did you ever think about having sex with me?”
Making a surprised reaction would not change the situation so you just answered her in a straightforward manner. “Yes, and if I'm being honest, I can’t stop thinking about it the moment I stepped inside this house. You’re so fucking hot in that dress.”
Maybe it’s the alcohol, or just courage that came out of nowhere but you still said it, and who gives a shit anymore?
Jini finished her remaining beer looking at you. She stood up, walked slowly and sat down on your lap.
“Is that true?” her focus shifted on your lips.
“Yes.”
A split second was it all took. She kissed you, and you responded accordingly bringing it to a make out session. Sloppy, wet, and warm. Jini pulled your head closer as her tongue joins the action and so are yours. It wasn’t a fight for dominance, but rather an exchange of intentions; something beyond words and better expressed through actions.
None of you can’t stop as your hand began an exploration of its own—the smoothness of the silk dress gave the impression of touching her bare skin.
Jini broke free; hazy, lust-filled eyes remained in contact with yours.
“Dress.”
“Not so fast, pervert. My house, my rules.”
“Playing tough?” you asked, raising both brows. “I’m born tough, loser. Now take that shirt off.”
“Okay, I’ll play along.”
You took your shirt off swiftly in one motion, revealing a body built for years. Astounded, it occured to her that this is the first time she saw you shirtless. Keeping the composure she displayed moments ago is crumbling.
“Happy?”
“Oh, shut up.”
She initiated the kiss again—on your neck going downwards, taking her time to taste your upper torso sending sending you into a frenzied state. Her tounge plays one of your nipples, while her finger does the other by means of making these circular motions, teasing you.
“Fuck.”
Jini’s dirty assault continues and not a word has had left her lips since. She’s acting like a predator aiming to completely devour her prey whole with no intention to stop until she’s satisfied.
“Let’s see what you pack down here,” she said, before pulling in one go your pants and underwear. Jini’s subtle gasp was still noticeable after seeing your cock.
“Well?”
“N- not b- bad...”
“Touch it.”
“Wh- what?”
“You heard me. Just do it.”
It was already erect, and Jini didn’t even hesitate to wrap her fingers around it—contact sent an electrifying feeling as she executed few, careful slow strokes. Unbelievable. It totally feels like the first time. Her jerking you off was overwhelming that precum is already leaking from the tip.
“Oh- oh, shit... That’s good!” you exclaimed, grip tightened on the arm rest of the chair. You don’t want to cum and if you’ll do so, it’s better to land it somewhere more interesting. Grabbing her arm lightly to halt her actions, caressing her face.
“Why?” Jini asked, her face blushed.
You just stared at her eyes, before brushing your thumb on her pinkish lips. She gets the hint and she knew it was going to happen anyway, sooner or later. She nodded as a ‘yes’.
Jini seemed to hold back a bit but she opened her mouth anyway, sticks her tongue out as she starts to lick one of your balls. Fucking hell. She attempted to put one in her mouth, drenched from her saliva. Jini gives a slow, long lick from the base of your dick going to its tip, tasting that precum still flowing. She takes time to know your proud member.
“Ahhh~ fuck, so good! Keep going!”
Hearing words of affirmation encouraged her even more as Jini started to give attention to your head. Putting it just inside her mouth made wonders—her tongue swirls around it and the sensation is driving you crazy. Unknowingly placed a hand on her head for support from the pleasure that travels around your body, trying not to get consumed by her actions.
Jini starts to take more by pushing herself with her tongue tracing the underside of your cock until she reache the limit—tip reached the back of her throat. Her gag reflex is evident as she holds on for a few seconds before releasing your cock with a pop. Jini catches her breath for a moment, still maintaining eye contact after what she just did.
You stood up while Jini is basically on her knees. No words were spoken at the heat of the moment.
You just position your cock right away in front of her mouth, slowly pushing the tip to enter once again and Jini willingly accepts.
Moving your hips backwards slowly until the glans remained inside, one thrust forward and from there the pace started to build up as you just basically facefuck Jini. Subtle, suggestive moans from her were signs she's enjoying it.
Lasting this long was quite a surprise as the inevitable first release of the night started to build up fast. Primal instinct took over you—faster thrusts, lewd and squelching sounds, moans of pleasure from both of you get louder and you knew holding back was impossible.
“Ji- Jini... fuck... I’m about to cum!”
One final thrust as spurts and ropes of cum went straight down to her throat, and Jini just swallowed everything. Some were escaping the sides of her lips. The high feeling of orgasm disappeared and you went back to your senses pulling out your cock.
“Yum.”
Jini catched her breath after what you just did. It took her a few minutes before returning to a more relaxed state.
She looked even more sexy; scooping the remaining cum using her finger, putting it back into her mouth.
One word and you knew the night is far from over.
“Should we head to my room? You can still fill me somewhere else, right?”
“Oh, you bet.”

AN: well, I’m back… sorry I’ve been gone for so long guys. But I hope you enjoy this, and If you’ve read fics from me before. I hope you like the change in writing style.. I’d love to hear what you think (I did write the at 1am tho and didn’t proofread)
trigger warnings: Angst, Assault, kidnapping, mention of endo
**
“yeah jay i’ll come over when i finish my shift tomorrow” you held your phone up to your ear, bag on the opposite shoulder as you left your apartment building.
“alright babe. be safe okay?” Jay, your boyfriend of 3 years spoke through the phone. A smile on your face as you thought of seeing him after your shift at firehouse 51.
“you too” you smiled before ending the call, shoving your phone into your back pocket as you began walking to your car. You and jay had met while serving in afghanistan yet had reconnected almost 6 years later after you started working back in chicago and got a job at firehouse 51 through your friend clark and everyone at 51 has quickly become your family.
As you approached your car you scrolled through your phone looking to message your best friend Gabriella Dawson to let her know you’re on your way to work. The two of you usually spend the start of your shift gossiping, it’s something you’ve grown to love. Especially when it comes to girl talks in a firehouse full of men. God just the memories of the boys faces—specifically cruz— when they walk in on a conversation about something they don’t want to know makes you laugh. Like the time you had cruz walk in on you talking to gabby about the horrendous side affects of your condition Endometriosis. Which you only got diagnosed with two years ago, and luckily it wasn’t completely debilitating for you as it was for a lot of women.
When you’d been diagnosed you were terrified of telling anyone, even Jay. But after hundreds of conversations with Gabby and Jay—who were both unapologetically supportive—it no longer bothered you and you’d come to the conclusion you’d rather talk about it and educate people on the subject rather than hide from it.
Shooting Gabby a quick text that read: ‘On way now. Got so much to tell you about the CPD party’
You smiled to yourself watching the three dots pop up signifying gabby was messaging you back. You and Gabby had almost no shame when it came to your conversations, so much so that you were sure you knew more about Gabby and Casey’s sex life than Casey did himself, and vice versa for Gabby and Jay. You knew Gabby had something to tell you too as she’d insinuated as such on the phone last night. And boy, did you have something to tell her too. The sex you’d had with Jay after that CPD party had been extraordinary, easily in your top 5 sexual experience—all of which had been with Jay. He was amazing, and with the strain and pain endometriosis puts on a woman’s sex life Jay had been so understanding and patient. He’d made sex something unimaginable.
‘Can’t wait. I have news too. 🫢’ Gabby replied. You smile as you reach your car pocketing your phone and pulling out your car keys. Just as you go to press the button on your keys to unlock your car what feels like a violent slam of bricks hits your head. Pain slices through your body, shaking your bones, starting from your skull and travelling all the way down to your toes. the pain is sharp, cold. So cold that black dots dance across your vision. You can’t process anything, every thought, every instinct you have fails under the pulsing pain in your skull as everything turns black.
Pain shatters the darkness enveloping you, cold air hitting the wetness coating your hair sending a shiver down your spine. Fear claws at you, digging into your flesh, pulling and tugging at your stomach acid just as the hands are. The hands? Pain and panic interlock as everything clicks. Hands. Gripping your waist dragging you across a stony path. Darkness, not the same as before, not the dark pain that had taken you hostage but the sun leaving you, leaving you vulnerable with your captor.
It takes a moment for your eyes to adjust to the darkness. Yet, when they do adrenaline takes ahold of you. Forcing the old you, the soldier to take over. Power floods your veins as soon as your eyes meet the evil ones of your kidnapper.
Where’s jay? Does anyone even know you’re gone? How long have you been gone?
Questions you won’t let linger stab you. And your limbs fill with strength, adrenaline. You pull your elbow back before forcing it into your captors ribs with every ounce of strength you can, ignoring the pain, ignoring everything. You refuse to be a photo on Intelligence’s evidence board.
Your captor grunts, weakening his grip on your as he stumbles unprepared. He quickly recovers, lunging forward aiming to take you down with his fists. You don’t let him. Your lungs clench, heart pounding as if a stampede lives beneath your ribs as everything you’ve been taught everything you’ve learnt and everything that’s ever made you feel powerful rushes through your veins. Army training, Boxing, karate, kickboxing.
You dodge his attempted assault and quickly throw a balled fist toward his jaw, and it connects with enough force to break a knuckle. You move quickly, precise like you’ve got forever to calculate his next move. But you don’t. It’s the adrenaline, rushes through your veins giving you enough energy for the final push. With another firm punch he stumbles, and in the next moment you land a hard kick to his most precious area. He falls, losing his balance and stumbling with a pained groan.
Run. You barely process your next movements as your legs carry you, each step shakier than the last as you take your chance, sprinting away. Your lungs burn, your skin igniting against the harsh chicago wind. You don’t even know where you are but you keep running, running, hoping to find something familiar. Some landmark, somewhere you know, someone you know.
Your body weakens, you feel as if you’re your legs will fail at any moment as you push on. The wind brushing against your tear stained cheeks leaving a chill in its wake.
95th and Trent. The familiar street sends the final wave of adrenaline through your body. You don’t stop running, you can’t. Not until your safe. You don’t know how long you’ve been running for, how long you’ve been missing. But when you reach the familiar 21st district it almost feels as if your heart stopped. Racing up the front steps you barrel through the door. Panicked, irrational, exhausted.
Trudy Platts panicked eyes meet yours and a wave of comfort makes your eyes well up. She rushes out from behind her desk ordering a officer away, “Get Halstead. And call a damn Ambulance and 51. Tell em we’ve got her.” She bites out before rushing towards you and taking you into her arms.
As soon as the warmth that is trudy Platt touches you, your heart cracks. Almost loud enough your worried it could’ve been heard from miles away. Tears poor from your eyes and you clutch onto her uniform as the adrenaline dissipates.
“Baby” A distraught familiar voice takes you by the hands guiding you home. His arms, his smell. You’re home, you’re safe. Jay takes you in his arms, tightly. Letting all of his worry and anger seep from him in the form of your touch.
“Are you okay? Y/n, I was trying to find you. I was gonna find you baby.” He whispers as your claw at his muscular frame. “You’re safe, I’ve got you” he whispers, his voice only causing the crack in your chest to grow. A crack that only he can fix, now that you’re home.

mango dragon refresher - quinn hughes
notes: this is part of @wyattjohnston's summer exchange fic, and written for the lovely @lam-ila! i'm horrible at writing angst with happy ending, but i felt inspired to write something like this for quinn!! i really hope you like it <33
warnings: accidents, injuries, angst with happy ending, kinda hurt/comfort
gif not mine!
Tumblr media
in hindsight, driving with a broken tail light wasn’t the smartest decision you’ve made.
your mother had taught you years ago that everything you learn when it comes to driving was meant to be applied whenever you were behind the wheel, for the rest of your life. and for years, you’d taken her words to heart, never once stepping out of line.
but you were hungry, and out of milk, and you’d already taken the cereal out into your bowl, and quinn had taken the working car to practice.
you didn’t think it was going to be a big deal, especially since the grocery store was less than five minutes away. besides, you saw people driving with things worse than broken tail lights all the time. how bad could it be?
convincing yourself it was no big deal, you got in your car and headed off to the store. you’d made it there fine, not even a scratch. but on your way back, the car in front of you slammed on their brakes suddenly. you’d stopped as well, just in time to avoid ramming into the rear bumper.
but with your tail light broken, the car behind you had nearly no warning as he drove into you. you felt it all happen in two times speed: your head hitting the steering, hard, as cars around you honked their horns and manoeuvred away from the crash.
i guess this is why they say mother always knows best, you thought drowsily, the world going dark around you.
-
quinn was feeding his teammates pucks when the assistant coach, nolan, called him over.
he’d been in a serious conversation with one of the trainers for a few minutes, before he motioned for quinn to come over.
“ooh, hughesy’s in trouble,” some of the guys snickered, messing with him.
quinn rolled his eyes as he held back a laugh, nodding at nolan and the trainer. the trainer nodded back, before rushing away quickly.
quinn didn’t think much of it — the trainers always had lots of work to do.
“what’s going on?” he asked.
nolan motioned over his shoulder, “let’s go talk about it, c’mon.”
now quinn began to worry, almost as if he really was in trouble. during the short walk to his office, a hundred different thoughts flew around quinn’s brain — yet, not one of them explained why he might be in trouble.
i’m a full-grown adult, quinn thought to himself. how the hell am i going to be in trouble? what would i even be in trouble for?
as nolan motioned for him to take a seat, quinn’s thoughts took another direction. he thought of bo horvat, and how he’d been given some terrible news in the very same way.
“wait, am i getting traded?” he asked suddenly.
nolan’s eyes widened, “no, no. we’re not trading you, that’s not why you’re here.”
“then why am i here?” quinn asked. “is there — is it something bad? did i mess up?”
nolan looked resigned, as if the last thing he wanted to do was sit here and tell quinn… whatever it was he wanted to say. but he took a deep breath and forced it out.
“it’s y/n,” he said finally. “your fiancée. she’s been involved in a car accident and has been admitted to the hospital.”
the world seemed to stop for quinn.
y/n, in a car accident.
he didn’t believe it. you were the safest driver he ever met, there was no way you could be involved in a — the broken tail light, he realized suddenly.
for some reason, you must’ve taken the car and went out to do something, either forgetting about or dismissing the broken tail light.
quinn internally began to curse himself.
he should’ve woken up half an hour earlier and carpooled with elias when his teammate had asked. that way there’d have been a working car at home, and you wouldn’t have been in the hospital.
“quinn?” nolan asked hesitantly, snapping him out of his spiral. “are you okay?”
“where — which hospital is she in?” he got up. “i want to go see her, i’m leaving to go see her.”
nolan stopped him by placing a hand on his arm, “i’ll drive you. you’re in no state to be operating a vehicle. go get changed, and we’ll head out to see her.”
quinn wanted to argue, to tell him to take him right now, but he saw the determined look in nolan’s eyes. quinn knew him long enough to know there would be no arguing with him.
he rushed off to the locker room, changing in record time, before meeting nolan in his car.
“let’s go,” nolan said, driving quinn.
the car ride was tense, with quinn stuck between wanting to ask nolan more information, and at the same time not wanting to know anything and just hope for the best.
his brain compromised by thinking of the worst scenarios imaginable.
“breathe,” nolan said as they arrived at a red light. “she’s gonna be fine, you just need to calm down.”
quinn took a deep breath, resisting the urge to snap at nolan. you wouldn’t want him to get mad at someone who’s only trying to help.
nolan took a right, arriving at the hospital entrance.
“head on up,” nolan told him. “i’ll park and come.”
quinn didn’t need to be told twice, as he bolted out of the car and towards one of the receptionists.
“my fiancée,” he rushed out. “she was — she was just brought in here because of a car accident. y/n, y/n y/ln.”
“one second,” the receptionist said, searching through her files. “you’re her emergency contact. quinn hughes, correct?”
“that’s me,” he nodded.
the receptionist nodded, “she’s in the emergency room, currently being operated on. she needs stitches, and is being checked for a dislocated shoulder.”
quinn’s heart felt like it would stop in his chest.
“where — where is she?” he stuttered.
the receptionist gave him a look of sympathy, pointing him towards the direction of the room. quinn ran down the halls, coming to a halt outside the room.
on the other side of those doors, you were in pain. you might’ve been under anaesthesia, but after everything, quinn didn’t want to think of you being in pain.
doctors, nurses, patients, and even visitors walked around him. for once, no one was asking for an autograph — only giving him looks of sympathy.
-
“mango dragon fruit refresher for quinn!” the staff called out.
quinn walked numbly to the counter, taking the drink, before heading upstairs. in his other hand, he held his own coffee — which is pretty much what he’d been living off for the past day.
there were three or four mango dragon refreshers in your room, melted or in the trash. quinn bought one for you each time he went to get his coffee, just in case you were waiting for him.
the accident itself was quite bad, to the point where the doctors were saying it was lucky that you didn’t sustain any long-term injuries.
from what quinn had been told, you were suffering from a minor concussion, needed six stitches across your forehead, needed twelve stitches on your hand, and had dislocated your left shoulder.
the stitches would come out eventually, and the concussion would be fine within a few weeks. but your shoulder would need to remain in a sling for three to four weeks, and you’d be needing physiotherapy afterwards.
quinn was just waiting for you to wake up.
you’d been out for over twenty-four hours, quinn not leaving your side except to get your drinks. nolan had brought him some food, which was in a bag in the corner of your room. he just wasn’t hungry.
quinn entered your room silently, mango dragon refresher in hand as he tried not to disturb you.
“is that for me?” your voice caused him to startle.
quinn turned towards you, seeing you awake and sitting up in the hospital bed. words failed him as he stared at you, trying to force something — anything coherent — out of his mouth.
“you — you’re — are you—”
“hi,” you gave him a tired smile, patting at your bedside.
quinn was there immediately.
“you’re awake,” he whispered, hesitantly reaching out for you.
“and you look like you haven’t slept in days,” you responded, taking his hand in yours. you leaned into his touch, savouring the feeling of him next to you. “are you sure you’re okay?”
quinn stared at you, shaking his head to himself in disbelief. “you’re the one in the hospital bed, and you’re asking if i’m okay? i should be asking you that!”
“i’m fine,” you answered. “a little battered, but i’m alright. you on the other hand, you look like you’ve been through hell.”
quinn rolled his eyes, but it was true. he felt like it too. sitting by your side, all night, not knowing when you were going to wake up — it drove him crazy.
“i’m just glad you’re okay,” quinn choked up, pressing a kiss to your intertwined hands.
he’d spent the last day thinking of the worst possibilities, torturing himself. seeing you here, smiling and happy, it made him realize that he couldn’t lose you.
you smiled, leaning forward to place your forehead against his.
“me too,” you whispered.

here me out, soap fucking both you and him so damn good and hard it sends you both into a frenzy of overstimulation 😵‍💫😵‍💫 just two very fucked out idiots in love <3
╰┈➤ 🧼 Soap 🧼 »»———- When in Love ———-««
┆ ┆ MDNI - 18+┆ ┆ Triggers: Smut, swearing I think, overstim, hard dom reference
I HEAR YOU I HEAR YOU I see soap as SUCH a hard dom. Thorough, takes his time, knows what makes you tick and will go to the extremes until you’re shaking underneath him and can’t even beg anymore for him to stop. THAT’S when he knows he’s done his job. Not a moment before.
And the aftercare? It’s mandatory, of course, and he does his job well to assure you how well you’ve done taking it like a good whore for HIM and only him.
But what about when he’s lovingly rough? That’s a whole new side to him.
(Also, i have such a weird time writing ‘you’ and im so so sorry… so i just do ‘she’ butttt lmk if you prefer they/them or would like a gender neutral- could be male or female- or he/him specified!) For this ask I’m assuming afab, she/her pronouns! xx
~~~
The mission had been a huge success, but that wasn’t the only cause for celebration. One year with the most perfect woman in the world… Three hundred and sixty-five days of pure bliss anytime he thought about her at home in their bed. Having someone to come home to gave him a new sense of purpose to succeed that he hadn’t realized he needed. Anytime he was due to come home came with the anticipation of waiting, sitting eagerly on the couch and then pacing impatiently at the door once the half hour countdown began.
Like always, he was expecting to throw his bags down, leaving them at the door to accept her into his arms which she always jumped into. Her choice of apparel had been noted well after he took in her scent deeply, hugging her close with a half assed kick to the door behind him.
“Sweetheart, god, I missed you.” He breathed, one more squeeze placed around her before he was pulling back for a kiss. Then he noticed what she was wearing, a smirk lifting across his face which held a five o’clock shadow from a few days gone by without shaving. The stubbled kiss was sought out despite his hesitation as he now wanted to gawk at her form, her hands coming to his cheek and pulling him in.
“I missed you more. Happy anniversary, my love.” Mumbled against his lips, declaring her undying adoration for the man she promised from day one to give her everything to. Traveling hands snaked under her rear, squeezing the sparsely clothed flesh with a hum.
“Such a pretty present… I think it’s time to unwrap you, gorgeous,”
To the bed they had picked out together she was unwrapped after a painfully long amount of time of Soap simply… admiring her. He had every intention of stripping her from her confines, but before he felt it would be criminal to ignore how much effort she put into this outfit. The lingerie hugged every curve and dip of her body like it was tailor made to accentuate her natural beauty. His lips worshiped the exposed flesh, tongue teasing over the textured fabrics between her legs, giving a hint of what nectar pooled against the fabric in her arousal.
Her squirms and whines did little to deter him, promising her pleasure if she was patient to allow him to explore and become reunited with his treasure. “Be a good girl. Don’t make me remind you what happens when you disobey, eh?” Teeth nipped at her sensitive flesh, warning her he had not changed views on the severity of discipline.
She never worried whether or not her needs would be met, and that evening was no different. As he had promised, he delicately removed the clothing from her body, teasing her even then by his languid pace. ‘Darlin’, I haven’t seen you in so long…. I want to ravish you.’ He would say, silencing any potential protest with a searing kiss as his impressive bulge ground into her need. The whine it produced was enough to convince him to drop the bullshit, tearing at his pants while she clawed the shirt from his body and sought the heat of his flesh.
Any gentleness he might have had in store had dissolved the moment he caught a taste of what he’d been missing for too long overseas serving. The initial stretch of her welcoming heat, rolling hips matching the breathy moan he earned which drooled from her kiss-swollen lips.
“Good god, you take me so well,” it would keep him faithful even in the struggle of loneliness, for he knew already that no one could ever compare to her. His thrusts were needy, hungry with a passion so raw it was almost overwhelming after so long without his touch. Clawing, scratching, pulling one another closer, it was all he could do to quickly remove the distance each time he pulled back to reenter her.
His praises were softer than normal, but she cherished them just the same. Where ‘my dirty slut’ would sputter from his lips, tonight, it was replaced with ‘my only love’. His native tongue lavished her in compliments she hardly could understand but knew to be praises, melting under his harsh touch and romantic words. Soap was sure to remark every inch of her body, fingers digging bruisingly hard into her hips, pressed into the mattress firmly as he drilled his cock again and again just so to unravel her resolve and have her milking his length for what would be the first of many orgasms.
One blinding, world tilting climax after the other shook her raw to her core, muddying her mind until the only word she could mutter was his name. A plea, a praise, a prayer, he became the very breath she inhaled desperately upon each glorious thrust pressing him closer. One of his favorite positions ended the evening, his hand securely caressing her throat as he kept her tucked against his chest, rocking into her from behind. His thrusts had become jerkish rutting, moaning hotly against her ear with panted breaths, undoubtedly assuring her that neither one of them would be moving the morning until the sun had crested midday. Words had become uttered whimpers, reaching behind for his hand he gladly squeezed and intertwined with his fingers.
“I- love you… so much, y/n. I love you, baby.” Repeated again and again, Soap gently guided her to another orgasm, hot tears pooling anew down her cheeks from the overexertion. She ached in the best of ways, able to hear her heartbeat in her ears, trembling in ecstasy with a pitiful whine as he finally pulled away, curling behind her and adjusting her so she was comfortable. Strong, capable hands soothed her shaking limbs. His sweet murmurs lulling her to sleep.
feel special - im nayeon x producer! reader
synopsis: in the midst of thousands of faces trying their best to capture a certain bunny’s heart. you were the only person who captured her attention through your skills in music, to capturing her heart with your very own heart.
spade speaks: nayeon is actually my ult bias (along with yeji) who made me stick around and listen to k-pop. on top of this, feel special being my fave album for various reasons. happy very belated birthday to my fave album and to my fave bunny!
if there was one thing you know about nayeon, is that she prefers the quiet and serene moments of being alone, watching some show on tv, and having kookeu by her side.
nothing beats that.
yes, she loves her members, they’re her second family but living with 8 girls for 3 years then moving to a bigger place with 2 roommates, she still chose to stay in her room. then you arrived.
you were no one in the midst of hundreds of producers wanting to work with the group, to say the least, maybe it was fate that made you two meet. jyp did in fact introduce you two, from working with their twicetagram album to becoming a constant producer in various b-sides.
im nayeon, who’s voice is as sweet as honey, one to bring you comfort, and overall just bring a smile to your face.
before her, solitude was in your studio with your dog who would keep you company as you vibe to music you’ve produced. your place was never quiet, there was always some sort of music playing in the background, and twice became a constant to your playlist. a part of you immediately would distinguish nayeon’s voice in every twice song, maybe it was because she’s your bias.
a little part of you wanted to get to know her, not just as colleagues, but as friends.
it started small, from bringing her drinks so as to not make her throat dry from singing for hours. visiting her after practice just to hear her talk about her day, from overall just being there.
it didn’t take long for you to ask nayeon out on a proper date, similar to the ones you’ve been doing for months. this time, there was an actual label to it, not simply a hang out to talk about each other’s day. it wasn’t much, you just invited her to your place where you cooked dinner, hearing her talk about digesting oil as there are benefits to it, having kookeu and your dog play around as you two played board games to kart rider.
“no, i don’t see any benefits in consuming oil aside from getting sick.” the debate was still on-going as the game went on, you were leading with nayeon barely catching up.
“it’s tasty and consuming oily food would get you sick.”
“eating straight up oil is worse, nabong.” who knew you would fall for this girl who eats oil.
your date was a complete success, having to cuddle with nayeon as you watched carol. bringing her back to the dorm was bittersweet, a part of you didn’t want it to end but clearly, nayeon had different plans. watching her about to leave your car, she looked back at you, a smile evident on her face.
“i’ll plan the next one.” a kiss on the cheek was all it took just for her to have your heart.
one date turned to two, then three, then it became weekly.
there was not a time that you two weren’t together. her free time was spent in your studio as you two made songs together that the world would not get the chance to hear. having the chance to hear you sing behind closed doors, persuading you into posting it on your socials. it didn’t take long for that snippet to go viral.
every love story had to start somewhere and yours was about work. from listening to her sing her parts in sweet talker, helping with their japanese album, do the remix for their concert, and overall just admire the girl.
at the very same studio you two first met; you had finally called nayeon yours.
nayeon’s idea of solitude changed from the day she met you. it was no longer being stuck in her room scrolling on her phone or watching a random series or movie on the tv with kookeu. it was now with you, in the comfort of your home where she could be alone… with you.
when their tour started, slowly your time together faded. nayeon was busy and all you could do was consider the situation, the girls are still at their peak and you were merely there to help them out. she still used her free time with you when she’s back in korea, talking about the tour and how fun it was but she wished you could be there to watch them. you did, yet it was only the first day at seoul. so, when their manager had given you a ticket to their manila concert, you immediately took it, letting their management know that you wanted to surprise the girls.
when your girlfriend was busy doing the concert, you watched with keen eyes on how the group you’ve adored since debut to working with them and now, dating the girl of your dreams, felt too surreal. too surreal.
that’s where your thoughts left you with, would nayeon get tired of you? would she pick her career over you? until when will she settle for you and realize she deserves better?
ironic how you’re watching her perform with the loudest crowd there is to date, and you’re overthinking your relationship with who you consider the girl of your dreams… you fear waking up from this dream and return to reality with nothing but disappointment waiting for you. but this is reality. she’s your girlfriend, nayeon is and will be proud to call you hers as you call her mine.
“y/n? you ok?” their manager looked at you as the show finally ended, watching the crowd leave the venue. everything feels gloomy, tiring, anxious would be the better option to describe your state.
“yeah, just tired.” it may have been unnoticed by the manager that you were lying but clearly one nayeon saw you with the same smile you give her but with eyes calling for help, she knows something is wrong.
nothing goes past nayeon, especially when it comes to you. the thing is that she knows not to ask until you feel ready… but whatever is running in your mind makes her worried. you’re one for open communication, she knows this as your colleague and girlfriend, not once did you not voice out your concern for anything. what’s stopping you now?
maybe it was the fact that your best friend, mina, is telling you how much she needs to keep going. she has to, as she would say. you knew of her state for quite a while now, but there was something after their manila concert that just made her break. you were at the manila concert, the way mina was struggling, oh you can never tell your best friend what you’ve been thinking when she needs you the most.
nayeon watched your interaction with mina, she knows well enough how deep your friendship goes but she can’t merely just watch how you were also distancing yourself from her. not when there is clearly something going on inside your mind that you can’t seem to hide anymore. that’s where it started, the sad songs, how you’re writing ballads rather than your usual upbeat music that most of their songs are about. even when mina is already in hiatus and planning to go home for a bit as to recharge and be under the care of her family. you were lost, gone, mind running with the possibility of nayeon leaving you as if you’re not doing it yourself.
that was a toxic defense mechanism, one that you’ve done multiple times. if it weren’t for jihyo’s stubbornness, you would have continued avoiding nayeon.
in your studio where everything is normally organized was a complete mess, jihyo took notice of your eyebags, the amount of takeout containers. the sleep deprivation and the lack of sunlight was getting to you. phone on do not disturb as you avoid replying to nayeon or just sending cold replies, everything is out of place. slowly, jihyo took care of you, cleaning the studio while you finally slept. that was where she took notice of the little things, how you and mina had been talking, keeping your best friend company who was back in her home country, while she was clueless to how you were overanalyzing your relationship with nayeon and how mina being on break took a mental toll on you.
“you can’t keep running away from her. not when she also needs you right now.” jihyo has always been right, the girls have had quite a hard hit when mina went on hiatus, some of which were scared of what the future holds and nayeon was handling it quite poorly.
“jihyo, she’ll realize that she deserves someone better, and it’s not gonna be me.”
“she needs you, y/n. you’re the best thing that has happened to her and you can’t just decide on what’s better for her when you haven’t told her what you’re going through.”
while jihyo took care of you, slowly making sure you were properly talking to nayeon as she set up a schedule with your personal psychiatrist. slowly you were back on track. therapy was an eye opener, how you’re the one ruining the relationship for not knowing how to communicate your concerns because you deem it to be childish.
if it weren’t for jihyo, things would have been different. you wouldn’t be in front of nayeon’s dorm holding a bouquet and a bag filled with her comfort food. you wouldn’t be crying in front of your girlfriend as you told her every single thought. you wouldn’t be able to call her yours as she gave you reassurance that you’re the best thing that has ever happened to her.
“you’re so dumb thinking that i’ll leave you.”
“i know, it’s just that- you’re literally a superstar with everyone falling for your charms, how can i not think of that?”
they say fear attracts.
in nayeon’s eyes, the idea of losing you was the last thing on her mind. that if you were gone, she’d prefer to stop being an idol and try her best to have you back. losing you is one of her biggest fears along with losing her members. when one of her greatest fears (mina going on hiatus) was close to becoming reality, she needed you. she wanted you to know that she needs you the same way that you need her. if fear would be the reason for your breakup, nayeon has every right to call you dumb; you love her yet you won’t fight for her?
solitude for you has and will always be nayeon, losing that would result in chaos, disruption of your peace. you can live without music but without nayeon in your life, without the girl who you tried to push away and yet she still stayed, it would be stupid of you to let her go.
when things have been settled, and jyp asking for your help in producing two of their b-sides, you couldn’t say no to what the message of the album was. having to perfectly encapsulate your thoughts and emotions along with the group’s own thoughts being let out. aside from the chance to work with your best friend and girlfriend; feel special holds a place in your heart.
even when the world becomes dark and you’re consumed by your thoughts, you’re reminded that nayeon is there for you, that she has the patience to understand what is happening inside your brain.
so when her birthday is a few days away, you wanted to surprise her. something that screams that i’m glad to have you in my life. and no, an engagement ring would be too early in your relationship of around 5 months. what better way than to spend the entire day or at least an hour together as she prepares for their comeback the following day.
in some world, or way, you’re back to how you first started, admiring the girls as you make a name in the industry. nayeon shines on stage and it has been like that for years. even when the pandemic hit and you could only talk virtually until things lightened up. in every song she writes, you were a part of it, and when her solo debut was on the works, one call away and you’ll produce half of it.
to nayeon, you’re every song she’s written, every song she covers, and a vital piece to her everyday life.
to you, nayeon is your solitude, baby blue love, and your everything.
“happy birthday, love.” you wave your candybong with the crowd singing happy birthday to nayeon, and in the midst of the crowd, her eyes are set only to you.
Love on Tour: The Documentary, Part 2
we all know harry is working on a documentary, so this is my take on how young dad!harry would approach it!
and now a little key:
bold and italics: camera directions, or what you would be seeing as a viewer of the documentary in person
just italics: interviewer questions, or people who are speaking off camera
Young dad!Harry x Young mom!Reader universe
Part 1 Part 3
Tumblr media
In the interview room with Harry.
“There are some pretty heavy songs on Fine Line.”
Harry scratches his chin and looks away from the camera. “Yeah.”
“You’ve said in the past that you write from personal experience. Where did songs like ‘Cherry’ and ‘Falling’ come from?
“Uh...Not the uh…not the best time of my life.”
Cut to Y/n’s interview.
“Harry is…the most hard working person I’ve ever met. He wants to do everything he does with a hundred and ten percent. Almost to a fault, and there—there were moments where I felt like he was choosing his career over his family. You know, once One Direction went on hiatus, I thought things were gonna be different. I thought we would have more time together as a family, but we started falling into the same cycles. Write, promote, tour.”
Cut to Harry.
“Were you choosing your career over family?”
“I know how Y/n felt back then, and we’ve talked about it at length since then,” Harry says. “I think…I think at the time I only knew one way of having a music career and providing for my family, and it worked, so I almost felt like I had to keep that momentum. After the first tour ended, I came home and we spent time together, but…All I’ll say was it was tense.”
Cut to Y/n.
“I often think the pandemic was a blessing in disguise.”
“Really? Why?”
Y/n looks down at her lap before answering. “Because I was done.”
Cut to clips of Harry in Japan and in recording studios with his team.
Harry’s voiceover: “I’d never felt truly alone until we separated. To some it may seem odd because I was touring so much anyway, but I spoke to my family every day. I don’t think a day had ever gone by that I didn’t speak to Y/n. I wanted to give Y/n space, and I felt so lost, so I just kind of…stayed away. It was so hard. All I kept thinking was, ‘I did this. This is my fault.’ I eventually started writing down how I felt, but…yeah. Not something I look back on with pride.”
Back to Harry’s interview.
“Why talk about any of this at all?”
Harry’s eyes are red and watery, as if he had just been crying. “It was part of this whole journey. It wouldn’t be authentic of me to only share the good parts. Fine Line is introspective. It’s an album about high highs and low lows, so it only makes sense to kind of…express what I was going through to make me feel a certain way while writing.”
Cut to Y/n’s interview.
“What was it like to hear Fine Line for the first time?”
“Jeff told me H jetted off to Japan to write songs for the next album, and I didn’t see him until after it was nearly ready to be released. I wanted him to fight for us, but he just left. It solidified for me how much we needed to take a little time apart and figure out what we wanted. I was…resentful going into it. It felt like his music was tearing us apart, and he went to write more. But…”
Y/n wipes a tear from her eye.
“He…He was hurting as much as I was, and I was partially to blame.”
When asked to elaborate about the children during that time, both Harry and Y/n refused to comment.
Cut to an interview with Jeffrey Azoff, Harry’s long time friend and manager.
“I have a lot of respect for the both of them,” Jeff says. “What the two of them went through together, what Y/n endured all those years. Being a parent is hard enough, add everything else they put up with on top of that?”
Jeff shakes his head.
“But Harry went on a huge tour under your management.”
“An error on my part. And his,” he says. “I think we were so excited to start his career, and as a manager who has a client who loves live performances, it felt like a no brainer. I could tell that H was going to be someone explosive in the music industry, and I let that kind of cloud my vision.”
Jeff also reveals that he has since apologized to Y/n and that they are on good terms.
“So how did you go about promotion for Fine Line?”
“It was tricky, you know, because to the outside world, why wouldn’t H be doing all the talk shows and interviews and things like that? To everyone who didn’t know what was going on, he had all the time in the world and no obligations, but that obviously wasn’t the case.”
“Were there ever conversations to reveal his family to the public?”
Cut to Y/n and Harry in an interview room together.
“We talked about our options moving forward,” Harry says. “But we decided the best way to protect the kids’ privacy was if no one knew I had a wife and kids.”
“Definitely not easy,” Y/n says, but not impossible.”
Clips of Harry on various talk shows (Late Late Show, Ellen DeGeneres, Graham Norton) and at the Jingle Bell Ball, and One Night Only at the Forum appear. Some are of him performing, others are of him rehearsing, and one in a green room with Y/n, Simone, and Collette sitting on a couch.
Harry’s voiceover: “We decided on a couple talk show appearances in places where I could drive home afterwards, and longer breaks between tour destinations,” he says. “I was prepared to hold off on the album release so that I could spend more time at home, but Y/n wouldn’t let me.”
Back to Y/n.
“Keeping him from doing what he loves was never the goal,” Y/n says. “I just wanted there to be a balance. The kids were getting older and had more things going on, and I didn’t want their earliest memories of their dad to be that he was gone all the time. H wouldn’t be the same person if he didn’t have his music, but he also wouldn’t be the same without us. I never wanted him to give up his life for us, but things needed to be different.”
“Global lockdown was certainly different.”
She nods. “I think H saw it as an opportunity to…make up for lost time. It was difficult for obvious reasons. Online learning, keeping the kids entertained all day, staying inside, the toilet paper thing, but we’d never been the kind of family that spent so much time under the same roof before. It was strange, but also really nice.”
Back to Harry.
“You know, obviously I was bummed that I put out this album that I was really proud of and couldn’t perform it the way I wanted to, and there were already so many fans who bought tickets. I felt like I was letting them down too. But at the same time, it forced me and Y/n to share common space after so much time apart. I wasn’t about to take that for granted.”
This was all Harry and Y/n were willing to talk about concerning their separation. They did not say how long they were apart or when they officially mended things.
*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.
In another interview room are four children.
“Can you state your name for the interview, please?”
“Simone Styles.”
“Nicoletta Anne Styles.”
“Maeve!”
When the fourth child doesn’t answer, Maeve does it for him.
“And that’s JuJu.”
“No it’s not!”
“Then say your name!”
“My name is Julian.”
“Do you know what your dad does for a living?”
“He travels a lot,” Maeve says. “Sometimes we get to go with him!”
“Daddy sings onstage,” Julian says.
“And on the radio!”
“He’s a musician,” Simone says.
“Do you have a favorite song that your dad sings?”
They all begin to talk over each other.
“I like Adore You!”
“As It Was!”
“Only because you were in it.”
“Baby Shark!”
“I like his One Direction songs,” Collette says.
“So you know who One Direction is?”
“Yeah,” Simone says while the rest nod.
“Simone, do you remember anything about your dad being in One Direction?”
“Not really. But Mom likes to tell stories about all the cool places we got to go together.”
“What is the coolest thing about your dad?”
“Did he tell you to ask us that?” Maeve asks.
The whole crew laughs.
“No, he didn’t.”
“I like when he plays with my toy cars. Sometimes we make a really big racetrack with, like, loops and stuff,” Julian says.
“I like when he plays tea party with me!”
“I like it when Dad picks me up from school early so we can go shopping together,” Simone says.
Back to Harry and Y/n’s shared interview.
“You do what?”
“It was only a couple of times!” Harry says in his defense.
Y/n gives Harry a stern look before she says, “Okay.”
“Okay?”
“Mmhm.”
Harry looks at the camera. “She does this to scare me. Pretends like everything’s fine and then grills me later.”
Back to the interview with Simone, Collette, Maeve, and Julian.
“What was it like being in lockdown together?”
“It was really fun!” Maeve says.
“We played lots of games and did campouts in the backyard and stuff,” Simone added.
“I learned how to ride a bike!”
Collette tilts her head to the side. “Well, it was mostly fun. When Mom and Maeve got sick it was not so fun.”
“I think Daddy was in over his head,” Julian says.
Cut to Harry and Y/n’s interview.
“I was not ‘in over my head.’ We were fine. Better than fine, even.”
Y/n looks at the camera, clearly amused. “He called me crying several times.”
“How did you and Maeve quarantine while you were sick?”
“We took our bedroom,” Y/n says, gesturing between her and Harry. “And they would bring us meals and everything. I was a little worried because GiGi was only a couple months old, but we made it work.”
“Why were you crying so much, Harry?”
“It wasn’t so much. But…I think we’re all used to having Y/n around, and sometimes Simone and Collette would argue, and Julian missed having Maeve around, and you know, was looking after a newborn during all of it. Y/n is truly the glue that holds this family together.”
“He got really good at braiding my hair!”
Everyone laughs at the little voice off camera, which turns away from Harry and Y/n to where Collette is sitting in a director’s chair. Then the camera swivels back to Harry and Y/n.
“She’s right. I am a master at the French braid.
Cut to a home video of Simone and Collette with Harry filming.
“Welcome to our home!” Simone says. She spreads her arms wide as she presents the front room of the house to the camera.
Both Simone and Collette proceed to give a tour of the whole house. They show a kitchen, a home theater, what they call “Daddy’s office,” which appears to be a converted recording studio, and the twins’ bedroom.
“This is my room. I share it with Simone,” Collette says.
Simone shows off the bedroom, which has white walls with pastel accents. Lots of stuffed animals on two beds with princess canopies and a small sofa. There are two rugs on the floor, a white one with a textured pink and purple smiley face and another white one with an orange pattern. A teddy bear bean bag chair sits by one of the beds. There’s a bay window with a small mattress and curtains with hand-stitched cherries on them. “A project completed by yours truly,” Harry says about the bay window bed. “I’ve become quite the handyman during lockdown. And an interior decorator.”
“Dad!” they both cry.
“Sorry, sorry. I’ll keep quiet from now on.”
The “tour” ends in Harry and Y/n’s room, where Y/n lays on the bed. Her belly is big, clearly several months pregnant. She smiles as Simone and Collette approach.
“What’s going on here?” she asks.
“We’re giving a house tour!” Collette says as she jumps on the bed. “This is our last stop.”
“We’re gonna send it to Nana and Auntie Gemma and…”
Simone rattles off all the names they plan to send their video to.
“Wow! And I see you have your own cameraman,” Y/n says.
“He’s good, but we have some notes,” Collette says, and Simone agrees.
“That’s it. No more cameraman. I’m the tickle monster,” Harry says.
Simone and Collette scream and run away, and the video ends shortly after that.
⚠︎ 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 | Smut (18+), Dilf! Aged Up! Stepfather! Johnny, Daddy Kink, Infidelity, Praise Kink, Size Kink, Fear play (?)
Tumblr media
Johnny stared at her. Johnny stared at you. He’s not supposed to stare at you. At least, not in the way he is right now.
He wonders to himself, here of all places, what it’d be like to see you underneath him. Would you stare at him the way he does at you? Would you tremble out of fear? Blush? Smile?
Johnny was dying to know.
He wonders if your pretty lips would beg like he imagined hundreds of times before this moment.
You looked up at him with glassy eyes, sniffling back tears. “Daddy,” you whined. “Please,”
Your eyes were pleading at Johnny.
Yet he could only smile at you. His hands destines to leave bruises on your thighs as he held them apart.
“Now, honey,” he began. “You’re gonna lie here all pretty for me, and you’re gonna take everything Daddy’s gonna give you.”
He look in his eyes were devilish as he burned into yours. It felt like he could see right through you, everything you’ve ever seen it’s as if he’s seen.
You’ve never felt so transparent.
“And when m’all done with your pretty pussy, when it’s all stretched wide because of my cock, you’re gonna look me in my eyes and put on your pretty smile and say…”
He was expecting an answer. His question wasn’t rhetorical.
“What are you gonna tell me, baby?” he taunted.
Johnny has all the patience in the world it seemed. That’s what slightly scared you.
You sniffled again. “T-Thank you,”
“Thank you, what?”
A small slap hit your clit.
“Thank you, Daddy.”
“Awe, that’s my good fuckin’ girl” he beamed.
And so Johnny stared, getting lost in your eyes. It wasn’t hard to get lost in your eyes.
But he shouldn’t, especially not now.
Not at his own wedding to your mother. The one you had to come home from college from. The one that he instantly knew was a mistake when he first laid his eyes on you.
So he had to swallow his pride. Put on a smile. And internalize that he was going to do something very bad tonight.
But right now he was going to shove his feelings aside and pretend no one ever saw him looking at you—pretend he never saw you looking at him. Maybe even pretend he didn’t make out with you last week.
So he mustered all his energy and said, “I do.”
The wedding was mediocre.
From what Johnny could tell, your mother was having the time of her life and he could only keep up by half-heartedly laughing along with her. While you on the other hand, didn’t seem too elated at this marriage.
And to be fair, you weren’t too elated just as Johnny assumed.
In your defense—who would be happy watching their mother marry the most attractive man they’d ever laid their eyes on? (And the most attractive man they’d ever shamelessly flirted with a few days ago).
So you sat there, politely speaking to those who approached you (including your own mother), until after you watched your mother dance with Mr. Suh.
You approached him timidly—he was quite the large man who oozed with a godly amount of confidence. But the moment his eyes met yours for the second time today, you could instantly tell—this man did not want to be here.
Regret was all over his face, frankly.
“Is everything alright, honey?”
Your knees felt like they lost power when he called you that. To make it all worse he reaches out for your hand.
“Mhm,” you hummed, “m’just gonna g-go back home, m’not feeling too good.”
He blinked twice, a small smirk making its way to his face. He leaned closer to you, his lips now near you ear.
“I take it you’re not enjoying this,” he whispered. A knowing look on his face.
Your eyes were full of surprise. Was it that obvious?
And as if he read your mind, “I’m not either.”
And before you could ask any questions, “M’gonna figure out how to leave and maybe you and me could have some bonding time.”
He raised his eyebrows at you when he pulled away, the corner of his mouth lifted up in a smug way.
Johnny waited precisely ten minutes to tell your mother that he had to go home and check on you like the good step-father he is. And because that simply warmed your mother’s heart, he was allowed to go.
There was a jingling of keys and when you turned your head towards the door—there he was: Mr. Suh.
He looked at you with a devilish intent in his eyes. You really wanted to look away out of pure fear maybe, but something was just yelling at you to keep looking at him. As if he was irking you, daring you to keep looking at him.
In his mind, however, nothing but knowledge and power encapsulated him. He knew for a fact what he was going to do to you tonight. In his mind, there was no way out for you or for him. Johnny considered this to be quite the inevitable thing.
He walked achingly slow to where you stood at the stairs, as if making noise would disturb whatever tension was in the room. He came to a stop just a few inches in front of you. The corner of his mouth turned up a bit at the small hum you made. “M'gonna be real honest with you, m'kay, honey?”
You nodded, conscious of your voice all of a sudden.
“I made a mistake today, a very, very, very big mistake. I know you know I did, right?”
You nodded again.
“I don't like making mistakes. So,” he grinned slightly, his hand on your waist, guiding you upstairs. “You're gonna let me know if I can redeem myself and not make another mistake.”
It surprised you a little that you were now sitting on his bed and he was bent down looking at you in anticipation.
“What?” was the only thing you could let out.
“Do you wanna let me fuck you silly, honey?” he said in the most gentle way one could imagine. So much so, that you only nodded instead of screaming a “yes” right here, right now. It surprised you.
“I need to hear you say it.”
“Yes.” his hands were already removing your clothes. “Please.”
He already removed inch of your clothing, except your panties, when you simply felt the urge to kindly beg for him.
“P-please, Daddy,” you wailed “I really, really want you to fuck me.”
Pulling your panties past your ankle, Mr. Suh looked down at you half in shock, half in amusement. “What'dya say, honey?”
Mr. Suh had a shit-eating grin on his face, never breaking eye contact with you as he held your legs apart. He easily slid two of his fingers inside you.
“Repeat what you said to me, honey.”
You let you a shaky breath. Mr. Suh's fingers felt too good to the point where you could barely think, focusing on the stretch his digits gave you.
“Please, Daddy,” you bit your lip to stop a whimper “I- I really, really need you t-to...to fuck me! Aweee, please, Daddy!”
The end of your sentence was practically cut off by the loud whimper you let out. He was widening his fingers, stretching you out even farther than you already were.
Your hand reached to grasp his wrist, you were honestly about to cry if you didn't get his cock.
“Please, Daddy” tears threatened to fall, your nails were digging into the flesh of his wrist as it worked in and out of your cunt. “Please, need you to f-fuck me, now” you whined pathetically, loosing any sense of shame.
He stared at your whimpering self for mere seconds. However, the seconds felt like hours to you.
His fingers swiftly pulled out of you and he placed them in his mouth, tasting you while his other hand undid his dress-pants and shirt.
You could only stare up at that man in sheer awe. That was, until your eyes roamed down to where his cock was rubbing up and down your entrance. Your eyes could only widen in fear and curiosity. “Is that gonna fit inside me?” you questioned, thinking out loud.
Mr. Suh let out a brief chuckle before shoving his dick inside you, making the both of you whine at the action. Johnny was breathing heavily when he bottomed out. “Course' it is, hon'”
He began slowly moving in and out “Had to just make it fit inside you, pretty girl.”
Leaning down to press his lips against your throat, he left hickey after hickey after hickey. He smiled against your skin and continued to pick up his pace, admiring the way your back arched off his bed.
“You're doin' such a good job for me, little lady.” he groaned right in your ear, easily making your walls clench around him. “Oh? You like that honey? You like it when your Daddy tells you how good you're bein' for him? You like it when Daddy tells you how you take his cock like a fuckin' pro?”
“Fuck!” you whined out, nearly unable to answer him.
His hands roamed your body, his hand that didn't rest on your waist reached down you your clit, rubbing circles into the skin.
In the back of your mind you secretly hoped he didn't quite notice how hard you were clenching around him.
Mr. Suh's grip on your waist tightened as he savored the sounds you made as he pounded into you.
“Tell Daddy what you want, baby, y'know Daddy can fuckin' feel your cunt squeezing me.”
Somehow his shit-eating grin could almost be heard through his voice.
“W-wanna cum!” you whined, “Wanna cum so bad, Daddy.”
“Good fuckin' girl,” he groaned in appreciation. “M'gonna give my pretty baby want she wants.”
He quickened his thrusts, moving deeper into your cunt as he rubbed your clit faster. He could feel you tighten even more around him. One more thrust, and he came inside you. Momentarily feeling like he lost his mind as his cum poured into your fluttering hole. The room was filled with your screaming, chanting “Daddy” as if your life depended on it while you gripped his bed sheets while you came.
When Johnny composed himself, he nearly unwillingly pulled out of your soppy hole, watching in awe as his cum mixed with yours oozed out and onto his sheets.
Before you knew it, his mouth was immediately on your cunt, lapping up your mixed juices, paying great attention to your sensitive bud until you fell over the edge all over again, panting “Daddy” religiously.
He stayed between your legs for a while, waiting with all the patience in the world until you came down from your high. Planting soft kisses to the inside of your thighs, then moving beside you to pull you into his embrace.
You hummed euphorically, “You should apologize.”
Mr. Suh was taken aback, “Whatever for, baby?”
“For making a mistake,” you shifted a little to face him. “By marrying my mother.”
He smiled lazily at you, “It could be a mistake or a blessing in disguise, honey.” he grinned widely, closing his eyes, knowing the weight of his words.
“If you sleep here, won't my mother find you by morning?” you left off the part, “and get all mad because you “forgot” to come back and then misses the flight to your honeymoon?”
“Nope.” he said, as a matter-of-fact.
“But-”
He quickly cut you off, kissing your cheek. “I have my ways, sweetheart.”
Day 3
The Pot Of Gold At The End Of The Rainbow by TheyDraggedMeInNowIAintLeaving - (Rating: T, Words: 8,881, sterek)
Stiles meets his first Hale when he's seven, and the most important Stilinski-Hale twenty years later.
~
In which Derek's family meets the love of his life years before he does, but Derek still gets the better end of the bargain.
As You Lay Dying by FelOllie - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 9,360, sterek)
Seven excruciatingly long days since Mexico: Take Two, and Stiles still couldn't get the sound of Derek's breath rattling wetly in his lungs out of his head. He heard it in his sleep, over the the pounding rain and the sound of Malia breathing softly beside him. He heard it when he was wide awake, over the din of crowded hallways and classrooms, cutting through the noise of the last lacrosse game of the season and the bustle of the locker room.
One hundred and sixty-eight hours, give or take, and Stiles had yet to wipe the sight of a bloodied and dying Derek from behind his eyelids. He saw it with every blink and sometimes even when his eyes were open and each time it made his chest feel like it was caving in.
Soulsick by theroguesgambit - (Rating: T, Words: 3,476, sterek)
Derek loathes this idiot of a soulmate, whoever they are. For not coming to Stiles’ call, for being too useless do just to this one simple thing, for failing Stiles, proving how utterly unworthy they are before they’ve ever met him. -- Stiles is cursed with a disease that will eventually destroy his soul unless his soulmate helps strengthen it. The pack performs a ritual to call his soulmate to his side. But days pass and no one appears...
Maybe they're already here?
Making love is how we'll pray by lanalua - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 2,742, sterek)
Stiles and Derek perform a ritual in the woods.
In a Moment of Vulnerability by cloudsarefluffy - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 87,097, sterek)
While in New York City to visit his aspiring and success-hungry friend Scott, who left for an internship he fought for over several years ago, Stiles runs into an alpha with a devilish reputation and a dark, tantalizing look that precedes him. Couple that with horny loneliness and failed suppressants, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a one-night stand that will set the bar forever.
But what if forever isn’t something that the one person you’ve given yourself to wants? What if a forever is somehow growing inside of you after a few months pass and a planned heat is missed? What if you don’t know what to do and there’s only so much chocolate that can soothe an aching heart before you feel like you've got morning sickness all over again?
This is a story about how Stiles loses his virginity alongside himself, and somehow, he manages to find something he never thought he’d ever have along the way.
Looking forward by Smowkie - (Rating: T, Words: 6,953, sterek)
Derek’s cabin was small. Tiny, even. He liked it, sometimes he missed having a big house, like the one he had grown up in, but the cabin was good, comfortable, and he, well, it was somewhere to hide, somewhere no one would find him. Somewhere no one would bother him.
He was happy, though, sort of. Happier than in a long time, he had a comfortable little home, lots of land he could run on—and he did, shifted to his full wolf form and ran for hours, it was wonderful—and his life wasn’t bad at all.
Then one day, the 21st of December on his second year living there, Stiles came to visit.
Written for the prompt cuddles in a power outage.
I Want You to be Happy by lvmehtme - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 13,851, sterek)
Stiles' dad has finally founds someone and the way he looks at her like she hung the moon and the joy in his every smile after all these years is worth everything that she does to him in the dead of night when no one's looking.
I'm giving everyone a fair warning right now, there's statutory rape and psychological trauma in this fic. It ends happy, but it does get graphic. Please proceed with care.
loyalty. courage. integrity. by redhoodedwolf - (Rating: G, Words: 707, sterek)
“Derek what the fuck!”
“Hard first day?” Derek guessed. He pushed himself forward and extended a hand towards Stiles. “You can vent, I have time to listen.”
Little Kid Crush by orphan_account - (Rating: T, Words: 5,052, sterek)
“What’s your name?” Derek asks, wiping the last of the tears off the kid’s face with his sleeve.
“’tiles,” the kid mumbles, and Derek frowns, wondering if he heard correctly.
“Tiles?” Derek repeats.
“Stiles,” the kid repeats, pouting at Derek slightly, defiant even though his eyes are still puffy and red and his cheeks tear-stained.
Witches Wrath by alikatastic - (Rating: Explicit, Words: 2,063, sterek)
Derek is cursed by witches giving him a hard problem. Nothing works, not cold showers, not his hand. He goes to Stiles for help, and the great friend he is Stiles won't turn him away.
