astarion's disapproval is so fucking funny sometimes I just told isobel she's about to get kidnapped and he's the only person in my party who got huffy about this decision. Including shadowheart who has been looming over my tav's shoulder like an angry goth pufferfish this entire interaction.
like. excuse me for protecting the one person in a 50 mile radius who's making sure everyone's skin, INCLUDING YOURS, doesn't flake off from necrotic damage like a desiccated corn husk. My audacity truly knows no bounds.

Aksjd I just reread the bit in network effect…. when Mensa's wife is like "hi secunit :) thank you for rescuing Mensa my wife who I love so much ♥ btw just curious…. What's going on between you two?…? :)"
& murderbot is so taken aback by the interaction that it is like. "girl!!! i WISH I knew!!!"

i feel like flirting-wise, red is obvi the G.O.A.T, like bro could make a rock blush scarlet if he felt like it, dudes got all the moves, all the charisma, and the Respect Women Juice flowing through his veins, the total package.
sans is the more subtle/stupid flirter, doing things like choosing to hang out with you over others, being the first one he talks to, stuff like that, but then also will flirt through puns, not like red's charisma droppers, but like groan-in-your-bed-later-that-night-because-why-did-you-SAY-THAT-IT-WAS-SO-CRINGE type puns.
skull duh flirts by being more blunt than wet paper and doing things like cleaning, cooking, basically malewifing.
however, i feel like he has just the tiniest bit of the Red Certified Charisma in him, and that once in a blue moon, he will drop the most smooth, heart-pounding, swoonworthy, twirling-my-hair kicking-my-feet, instant wine-red blushes flirt EVER-
and have said it on a spur of the moment thing. like all those jacked up brain-cells came together in one (1) unified effort to flirt witb pwettbdy lady
You're damn right anon

sibling f/os love ₊ ⊹
⌗ imagine your younger sibling f/o . . .
-> being eager to show off their new skills to you and lighting up the whole room with their smile once you praise them
-> making you read them a bedtime story but you can't even get through the first half since you keep finding funny details that send you both into hysterics
-> looking up to you and proudly going "thats my sis/bro/sib >:)" whenever someone brings you up in a conversation
-> cheering you up with a drawing or some of your comfort stuff (food objects music etc) and offering to beat up whoever made you sad
# imagine your sibling f/o . . .
-> already knowing not to look at you whenever some dumb shit plays out because otherwise you guys would be rolling on the floor
-> teaming up with you against a common enemy so you to get to be an evil duo (bonus points if one of you isnt confrontational or mean and the other proudly gets to see 'em go apeshit)
-> trying so hard not to seem suspicious while stealing bits of your food just because you got a different meal
-> seeing some of their mannerisms or quirks rub off on you and smiling the whole day about it
⌗ imagine your older sibling f/o . . .
-> being the first person people come to when youre upset because they know exactly what to do
-> letting you use their shoulder/lap as a free snoozing spot anytime or even carrying you to your bed after you fell asleep in an unconventional position somewhere else because of course they would
-> reacting to the agonizing memes you sent them while sitting across the room as the light slowly leaves their eyes
-> always subconsciously being on protection mode and getting worried when you're out of their sight for a little longer than you usually are (but they relax once you call them to ramble about todays adventures that kept you busy)

Ok ok ok so
I will write a full review later once Ive had time to gather my thoughts but
Basically I have read (and hated) many books that try to be of the moment.
Because usually it’s fairly obvious that these books have decided to be of the moment because the moment sells so they quickly slapped together a bunch of moment things and called it a book and are now expecting praises.
Sometimes the bones of the book are even good! And they might have became something incredible with just a little bit more slowing down and thinking about it and fleshing it out! But then the moment might have passed and the opportunity to be relevant and make money with it, so obviously you can’t do that, you can’t take the time to actually make it good.
But Chuck Tingle’s Bury Your Gays isn’t like that at all. It feels incredibly “of the moment”, but you can TELL it’s not because “the moment sells”. It’s because he actually had things to say about the moment, and he took the time to think through how best to say them, and then he wrote down a beautiful and poignant and earnest story.
And that’s incredible. I have rarely if ever encountered a book that is so deeply invoking the zeitgeist, the things that are happening right now and that are on everyone’s lips, and work through them in such a profound and heartfelt way. None of that “feeling like the book just capitalized on a trend” or “feeling like the story is just answering a single moment in time and will feel incredibly dated if not completely incomprehensible once we have moved past this specific social context”. Because Chuck knows his stuff damnit! And despite all the moment things in the book, the bones and the heart of it are about humanity, and stories, and art, and being true to ourselves and what we owe to each other, and these are as universal a bunch of themes as you can get.
Anyway this got away from me but my point is love is real, and please please please to all the writers out there stop writing “what sells” for once and start writing with your heart already!!! You will find your audience. The right ones will know.

Oh God yes, I am so for Tommy being gone just to have people stop being stupid about Eddie. Which is a pitty because at first I was intrigued by Tommy. Now i just want it to end.
And lol at your tags. I have blocked so many people lately, too. Not even stupid takes during TK era made me block so much. Some of them really take the cake now. All this hate towards Eddie is staggering. And to have the audacity to call eddieblr toxic (and yes, I have seen that and not only buddies are being called toxic these days).
HI there,
I have to say that I was intrigued and even excited for Tommy at first too, but there were a lot of things that just ruined it along the way, amongst them the last minute joiners and Eddie haters fans who just set out to make this place unbearable.
I wouldn't have minded Tommy so much if not for all the toxicity that brought with it and the poor writing and the money for specs from Lou.
Like wth dude, didn't anyone teach you to be correct, you can't justify Tommy's behavior in S2 and pass it as teasing. It's like punching someone in the face in rage or nearly break someone's ankle for attention and call it roughhousing. (not joking, I literally had an ask with someone justifying the white man railroading the POC for attention as roughhousing. - When Buck himself said he wasn't sure it wasn't done on purpose. like wtf?)
lol I live for those tags, everyone say their real thoughts and be funny in tags, it's so much fun.
I literally bonded with that block button, I haven't blocked so many ppl since early S4 and the porn bots attack lol
Ppl need to chill, everyone is entitled to their opinions but are not entitled to force it upon others.
Ship who you want but tag properly and don't be toxic about.
A lot of ppl read X's posts and come to rant about it here, Tumblr is not X, most of the ppl here are ppl who hate X's toxicity. I have deleted my account so many years ago.
We are here to have fun, so I say ship who you want, TAG PROPERLY, and leave us the hell alone.
Eddie/Ryan haters are all blocked so thankfully I don't see those, but if after everything they still hate on Eddie for something Ryan apologized several times for, learned from it and has bettered himself to the point that Aisha posted a thankful for Ryan story once and they have so many pictures together where she hugs him like he's one of the most precious ppl to ever live, than I have to call pure racism.
And that would explain the sudden admiration to the new white man on screen to be paired with the other white man who is by chance also the fan favorite.
Don't get it twisted, I love Oliver and Oliver loves Ryan and Eddie, but one has to wonder about the audience's choice of favorite even as they call against racism and for equality and with the same breath hate on a regular poc character.
I'm hoping this bizarre season ends on a good note, because otherwise S8 may be the last season.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
