Ok so I decided to do it here cuz I don't know will AO3 allow me to write essay hahahahah 😂😂😂

I don't even know how to start this. I've been reading fics for 13 years straight, like I don't remember the period of my life where I didn't read them cuz I always have some ship active and I'm crazy BL fan. Only a small number of them can make me crazy to the point I don't wanna sleep, eat, skipping my obligations, killing the pain and your sebaciel did everything. I haven't felt like this reading fic..,maybe ever? This is totally another level of me being fascinated by some writer.

I adore sebaciel, I'm in fandom since 2016 but the biggest problem I had with their fics is that - either people go too much OOC with them orr they rush up the things between them, going quickly with sex and feelings. It bothered me so much so I was crawling for good SC fics as crazy!!

After some break with SC, I came back to ao3 and saw your long fic. I started reading it but I dropped it after 3 chapters, I got bored cuz I thought you are gonna just re-type manga and do classic thing which another people do. Quickly, I got disappointed with another one and idk how but I decided to give your fic one more chance and dear lord......that was one of the best thing I have ever read. Maybe even the best.

Like, how smart are you? What's your IQ? Your manage to explain me some things about Kuro plot which I haven't udnerstand by myself. And the way you write Sebaciel relationship. That's everything I have ever wanted. Everything. They have normal conversation and that's it, that's all I need cuz there is everything. I feel electric every time when they talk, fight, do things together, goood the little touches svbjhsdjvbvbvbvbvbsdjvhbdf. I was tense whole fic. I read it for like 10 days, abandon everything until I finished it and now I feel sad ahahhaahha. But you are really something special, cuz I always used to say that manga itself is the best fiction cuz Yana knows the best how to create good Sebaciel energy. You, next to Yana, did the best job. You kept them as they are, never broke the character, and that's what I am most grateful. Slow burn, with drama and angst, love and attention, all misunderstanding, you put all necessary spices for 5 star meal. My fav part is when Ciel told Sebastian to add slamming doors to his most dramatic moments of his life ahahahahahahhaha 😂😂 I laughed like crazy, they are so precious♥ And I really wanted kiss to happen when Ciel lied Sebastian about another demon, that was sooo svbjhsvjhjhvbdf. But okay, you know the best, I trust you fully with this♥

The fact that they are ready to kill each other before they have normal conversation about their feeling is my fetish. I am in love with toxic things. Ciel ready to throw all game just to prove Sebastian that his value is not only his soul, right after he told himself for 1000 times he needs to stay on distance..... I LOVE ITTTT!!! I also need to say that you find PERFECT balance for good plot and romance. Your games and their cases...I just don't know, deep bow for you queen🔥💯After all, you didn't retype drama ahahaha but you manage to keep it canon without changing anything but still adding your spices so it's not ordinary Kuro plot we see every day....

I just have one question. From time to time, I was like a Bard ahahhaha, so sick of their games and my head hurting me, but on a good way. I am clear about Ciel but what about Sebastian and his disgust for Ciel's nicer, soft, emotional side? I know Ciel doesn't have it a lot, but would Sebastian still be grossed out about it as he was at the beginning of a contract or not? Keeping in mind that he is more and more obsessed with a boy?

So, that's all. I don't know how to use Patreon/PayPal, but for you I'll try cuz I only have credit card and that's all I know ahhahaha, I like to keep money in my hands😂 I'm sad about the situation in your country and all under - war countries. It's not bringing any good for anyone, specially for civilians. Hi! Ooh, thank you so much for your amazing, wonderful essay! I can't tell you how happy it made me! I think the electricity was already started being cut off when I got it, so I could see I have some really lengthy ask, but it wouldn't load. It was the torture of the most delicious kind :D

Like you, I've been reading fics for ages now, and the moments where I find some fantastic story that won't let me sleep or work or even blink are always the happiest and the brightest spots I remember. So it's extremely flattering to know that my story has become something similar to other people.

I love writing about smart characters, but most of them are definitely smarter than me! The benefit is that since I'm writing, I can think and plan everything in advance. In real life, I only wish I were as quick-witted and inventive. Alas, the best ideas and arguments come to me when they are no longer needed.

I love slow burns, and I love characters who abhor the idea of expressing their feelings, so Ciel and Sebastian have the most perfect dynamic in my eyes. I feel like I could spend the eternity just enjoying their Gothic world with their games, arguments, plots, and so on. Them antagonizing each other only to instantly team up against the common enemy is my most favorite thing in the world.

As for your question, right now, Sebastian would be thrilled if Ciel were to show a softer and more vulnerable side - at least in relation to him. Well, a part of him would feel the automatic need to mock him for it anyway, some habits don't die easily, but Sebastian's feelings have evolved a lot, plus Ciel is cold more often than he is not. So Sebastian treasures every word of praise, every hint of appreciation and need because they are so rare - he's come to crave them, and he has memorized all known cases of them by heart.

Now that the Seaworthiest Ship in the Dungeon Tournament is finished, I'll make a funny comments post probably either Thursday or Saturday (busy week) and take a weeklong break afterwards. If staff haven't nuked my account for being a trans woman, I'll run a new tournament after that.

I hit 1000 followers on this blog during the preparation of the tournament that just finished. As I've announced, I have a plan for a tournament to celebrate it. It will be the Favourite Anything in the Series Tournament.

The idea is as follows: You guys submit stuff you like from the series, I put it all in a giant bracket, and then I run a tournament with that bracket to determine the ultimate favourite thing from the series. You can submit anything you like: Characters, monsters, dishes, outfits, ships, scenes, or anything else. You can submit as many things as you like. You can submit a picture along with your favourite anything if you like, and if you don't I'll just pick out a nice picture for you.

Update: Submissions close Sunday February 25th, 10am Central European Time. I'll ignore anything submitted after that.

D&S:

Dominant and submissive dynamics. A power exchange where the sub gives their power to the dom and trusts them to lead.

Blood Play

Can be blood drinking, causing a character to bleed, or blood just being a point of (sexual/romantic) interest. Does not have to be the pairing's blood, such as Character A kills a character and gets their blood on them and Character B is really into that, or drawing blood with a bite. (Hint hint towards a way to cross this with omegaverse ;) )

Incest

Can be whatever familial relation, including adoptive or step family!

Daddybastian and the other DILFs of Kuroshitsuji

Daddy kink! It can be any Kuroshitsuji character, not just Sebastian.

Size Kink

Focuses on penis size. Can have overlap with height difference and focusing on the general body size of a partner.

Cannibalism

One character eating another character of their species or close enough to their species, such as a demon, vampire, werewolf eating a human.

Loss of Virginity/First Time

A character having sex for the first time ever or the first time with a specific partner. We're pretty lax with this one, ie loss of virginity can still count for Ciel if it's his consensual first time, and it also works for dub/noncon depending on what you want to go with!

Scarification

Burning, biting, cutting, or scratching in order to leave a scar and manipulate the wound to make a specific design.

Priest Kink/Religious Imagery

A character can be a priest or it could just be about religious imagery, such as fucking in a church or Character A getting plowed while Character B wears a crucifix that swings between them.

Weapons Play

Incorporating weapons as part of the scene. Can be a knife, gun, or whatever else you come up with!

Breeding/Omegaverse

Does not have to include both, and breeding does not have to include pregnancy, it can just be about the act of breeding/mating.

Height Difference

One character is taller/larger than the other. Often focuses on one character being smaller or larger. Overlaps with but does not have to include size kink.

Bondage

It can be as handcuffs, tying a character to a head board, one character being tied up while kidnapped, or even shibari!

Dub/Noncon

Dubious consent or non consensual. Dubious consent can including drugging/high/drunk, acting on instinct, curses, fuck or die, coercion, or mating cycles/heat. You can also choose CNC (consensual non consent or rape roleplay) here if you want!

Monster Fucking

A character is a monster of your choosing.

You can use multiple prompts for the same entry! We know a lot of these have overlap (daddy kink/ D&S, size kink/height difference/monster fucking, monster fucking/omegaverse, omegaverse/D&S/scarification/blood play, weapons play/scarification for some examples) and we encourage y’all to fill the prompt as you see fit!

This is about taking inspiration, and if you're inspired to write a werewolf omegaverse D&S fic with blood play and cannibalism, be my guest! If you only want to do one prompt, that's perfectly fine as well.

I saw an anon compare Kuro Neko/Transmission, and I think the better comparison for how the show treats their trauma is Glaciator 2/Transmission.

G2- Adrien is sad, Marinette sees this and is immedietely giddy because she can cheer him up and win the day! I'm not angling to say she is cruel, she doesn't want him sad, but the moment is still very much about her emotional needs. She is the only player character in this world. She goes down to him, completely oblivious to anything but her plan, enacts her plan, fantasizes about her plan, and when her plan is derailed she scraps it -despite the fact Adrien liked the gift- and when he leaves she... laments the plan failed.

Transmission- Mari is sad. Alya connives to get Adrien to deliver her her homework. On the way he worries about what his actions may have done, considering *why* she might be staying home. Once there he opens with a light self deprecating joke. Then he probes gently to understand *her* feelings, and when he learns even a little about her he tries to commiserate, to validate and share her pain. He even goes so far as to unintentionally deliver into her hands the one thing she has literally wanted since S1, and he means every bit of it. He is there for *her.*

Now, on the face of it, these two moments aren't terrible. They show two people with very different social styles. Marinette almost completely lacks the ability to empathize. In her head Her personal experience is the only experience and the universal one. There is no other way to be.

Adrien meanwhile has grown adept at reading emotional states, likely as a defense mechanism at home. The first thing he tries to do is puzzle out why emotions are happening and then approach them in context.

The problem is the show *never* loops back around to this idea. Mari's lack of empathy marches it's way destructively through the series while never actually being framed as a thing she has to grow from. Meanwhile Adrien(and Luka too) are shown to go to emotional self-harming lengths for her henefit and that too is never framed as unhealthy or bad, it's *romantic* it is what they are *supposed to do*

And there in lies the core problem that you can find at the roots of so many other problems in the narrative.

Your analysis of both those scenes is spot on. Adrien's focus is on Marinette, but Marinette's focus is... also on herself. She finds it hard to empathize with and understand the feelings of others. Clearly, she can understand that Adrien is sad, and I struggle to say she doesn't care. She's shown concern for him when he's sad (Rogercop) and she's tried to help him selflessly (The Collector, the New York Special), but she still struggles with empathizing and focusing on others more often than not, and this is one of those moments where she makes it about herself.

And this part:

This is exactly right. The show is mired in its protagonist-centered morality, and Marinette can do no wrong. It's interesting to have a character who can't relate to others easily. It's realistic! It's relatable! But the show doesn't portray Marinette stepping over the feelings of others because she can't understand them as a bad thing. If she fails to consider them or causes them hurt in any way, they have to suck it up and deal.

I do feel like it's more evident with Adrien than Luka, because Luka often took on the role of emotional support who asks for nothing, but he was also allowed to break up with Marinette because he was unhappy with the relationship (Truth) and be sad that she wasn't talking to him (Crocoduel). He's allowed to have emotions as long as he doesn't bother Marinette with them. But when Adrien is unhappy with Marinette, he doesn't get anyone telling him his emotions are valid or that he's allowed to feel this way. What he learns is that he's being too sensitive and that he doesn't deserve any better. What he learns is that Marinette is right, and he should get back to being her emotional support partner who doesn't expect a thing of her.

Marinette is always portrayed as in the right no matter how her actions affect others, and this is what causes her character to fall flat. She makes decisions for others because she feels like her way is the only way, and the show agrees with her. So you get things like the Season 5 finale where Marinette makes the decision to hide the truth about Gabriel from Adrien. And her covering for the abuser is portrayed as good and kind of her. It's the narrative bias that ruins her character, and that's quite unlikely to change in the future seasons.

Keito: Yes. From what I heard, they approached us due to our reputation as a Japanese culture themed unit.

Kuro: …… I’m not sayin’ I’m not grateful to be gettin’ work, but…

Kuro: We tend to get jobs like this pretty frequently ‘cause of our unit theme, yeah?

Keito: What is it? Are you dissatisfied?

Kuro: I’m not dissatisfied. If anythin’, I’m worried.

Kuro: ‘Cause it’s about intelligence and not strength. Guess what I oughtta say that I’d probably be more useful in a show or event that’s less brainwork and more brawns.

Kuro: If I’m bein’ frank, it’d be a bad idea to have me competin’ in an intelligence based competition. ‘Cause I’m stupid.

Keito: What to do if you’ve given up before you’ve tried? This job is something that we were able to acquire because of AKATSUKI’s uniqueness.

Keito: Additionally, our reputation as a Japanese cultural unit may yield us similar jobs appearing on history-related shows in the future.

Keito: For instance, educational or informational programs for elementary and junior high school students. There’s no harm in studying something that’ll help you in the future, right?

Kuro: You’re real assertive, danna… Welp, I can’t keep actin’ all pathetic about it.

Keito: That’s the spirit. Let’s do everything we can in the weeks leading up to the recording.

Kuro: … Does “doing everything we can'' have anythin’ to do with all of those reference books ya brought over, Hasumi?

Keito: Now, now. I’m pretty sure I gave both you and Kanzaki assorted reference materials when you were going to appear on a quiz show.

Keito: This time, in addition to those materials, I’ve analyzed the question patterns in the past runs of this show and even prepared a mock quiz.

Kuro: Eugh. Don’t ya think you’re a little too prepared……?

Kuro: After graduatin’ I thought I’d be able to live the rest of my life without havin’ to take another test. Just hearin’ the word gets me down in the dumps.

Keito: Fufu, don’t say that. I brought something today that might bring back even more memories of your school days.

Kuro: That cover, s’that…… A glossary of Japanese history?

Keito: There’s no need to glare at it so resentfully. This book is filled with hundreds, maybe even thousands of important pieces of vocabulary that we need to study. Here, have a look.

Kuro: Even if ya tell me to “have a look”...

Keito: I recommend studying the parts that I’ve highlighted with a marker. When it comes to such things, being able to focus on what is important makes all the difference.

Kuro: Even if it’s only the highlighted bits, the amount is just so…… (flipping through the pages of the glossary)

Kuro: ......?

Keito: What is it?

Kuro: Nothin’. I dunno why, but I was just thinkin’ how untouched this glossary looks for somethin’ that’s been used for three years.

Kuro: There ain’t any creasin’ on the pages, and not much writin’ either. Pretty sure I saw textbooks last year that had way more stuff in there.

Keito: You noticed well. I just bought this glossary.

Kuro: ? Why’d ya go and buy it again?

Keito: The one I used to use was in poor shape. I figured it might be difficult to study with, so I bought the same book.

Kuro: Then, does that mean ya highlighted everythin’ all over again too?

Keito: Of course. The knowledge you’d need for a quiz show is different from what you’d need for a highschool test, so naturally, the areas highlighted would have to differ.

Keito: I learned quite a bit while drawing new lines with the highlighter. I knew it’d be a good idea to buy a fresh copy……♪

Kuro: Sigh. You’re sure are studious, danna……

Kuro: (It’s incredible. Every single line is drawn perfectly straight, like he used a ruler.)

Kuro: (He’s a real meticulous guy. Goin’ out of his way to buy a new book just to study shows just how serious he is.)

Kuro: ( —He’s gone this far for my sake, I guess I’ve gotta buckle down and study hard too.)

Keito: Kiryu. You know you won’t be able to learn much just turning pages, right?

Kuro: That’s not what I’m doin’. I just thought I’d try and find an era of history that I think might be easy to understand.

Kuro: Okay yeah, startin’ from the Sengoku era would probably be the easiest.

Keito: Good idea. Partly thanks to manga and videogames, even people who aren’t familiar with history tend to know some names and have a vague visual of a few generals from the Sengoku era.

Keito: Furthermore, the show we’re appearing on has asked questions where the participants were asked to draw connections between various warlords, the territories they ruled, and the battles they fought several times in the past.

Kuro: Really? Then it’d be better to study the Sengoku warlords so I’ll at least be able to answer those questions, even if I suck at everythin’ else.

Kuro: The Sengoku era related stuff… Starts from around here.

Keito: I don’t mind if you write on sticky-notes and stick them in the book if you feel the need. Make use of it in whichever way makes it easiest for you to study, Kiryu.

Kuro: It belongs to you, danna, I ain’t gonna get too comfortable. Wouldn’t wanna ruin a brand new glossary with my writing.

Kuro: Besides…

Kuro: Over the course of your long idol career, you’re gonna keep usin’ that glossary until it’s all worn out again, right Hasumi?

Kuro: Just watchin’ the writin’ and sticky notes that ya add to the glossary grow in number works perfectly for me.

since you say youve been in the kuro fandom even before BoC aired, could you tell me about how it was back then? :D ive always been interested in learning how internet culture used to be, how things eventually changed, how they improved/declined etc, more so when the current community is pretty much dead. was there an experience that marked you, what do you remember most fondly? was there an event that excited the fandom more than any other (like the release of a chapter or smth)? which blogs were the most popular? Its okay if you dont want to tho, i understand!

Super interesting question! I hope I can provide some equally interesting information in return.

Before the fandom had reached Tumblr, much of it centred around a forum, or at least much of what I knew. It wasn't originally a Kuroshitsuji forum but a sub-forum of a Bleach forum, actually. I think it was called Bleach Asylum? And I don't know exactly how it came to be but I think that Bleach forum had lots of sub forums for then-popular anime and manga but Kuroshitsuji gained so much popularity and the fandom happened to gather there, so that sub forum really took off and it ended up being an anchor point for the fandom. I used to always look for the most recent scanlations there, back before we were able to buy them legally.

I didn't actively participate in that forum but I lurked occasionally. It was full of wild discussions, one of which was the "two Ciel(s) theory"/"2CT" as it was called back then. It had a strong following on the website back then already. I sadly don't remember any of the other theories that were making rounds back then...

I didn't really participate in much fandom stuff back then, limited my art posts to deviantArt and my personal facebook... but eventually, I made a tumblr specifically to interact with the fandom.

As for blogs, I don't really like doing any name dropping, especially because it would go into some people who used to ship sebaciel and turned anti, and other stuff I'd rather not talk about. I do feel like back in the day, there were a couple of gigantic Kuroshitsuji blogs with massive followings that got a LOT of asks every day (to the point where it seemed like a full time job to keep up with them). Discussion around sebaciel was very different, there have always been people who disliked it but unfounded rumours like "did you know that Kuroshitsuji was supposed to be a yaoi" made rounds without people questioning it. That always annoyed me a little tbh haha.

There was one fan artist on deviantArt whose name I sadly don't remember but I think they were THE kuro artist in Western fandom back then because their style looked very similar to the anime style. I still see their art sometimes.

And fun fact on the side, I grew up in German fandom spaces and we had a big website called Animexx (I think it's still around) that was dedicated specifically to all things manga, anime, and related stuff. They had really convenient ways of browsing on-site fanart, fanfic, doujinshi, cosplay, and other fan creations, as well as forums and ways to host your own fan events. Until the early 2010s, I hung out there a lot so until then, my perspective is distorted by that German lens. I used to post my early Kuroshitsuji fanart there too.

ok this is going to be a long list tho so buckle up:

Succubus Mahiru AU, inspired by @yarrayora 's bc i love it and would love to hear theirs. plz. I wanna hear about it so bad.

Kuro Has Too Many Exes AU, where the usual "Mahiru drags home a human!kuro" and gets into a situationship that turns into a relationship with him and he meets all of kuro's exes (the other servamps, gear, germaine) and helps him deal with all of that.

The Game (i havent figured out a cool name for this au yet) AU where there is this huge reality tv show that doubles as a romance/job hunting thing where people or companies will hunt someone of their choosing for either romance or to recruit. The people chasing are hunters and the people running are prey and the goal of the prey is to run around the country to avoid getting caught by the hunters for as long as they can for a guarantied better life and a heafty cash prize. The goal of the hunters is to try and capture their desired prey and if they succeed, they date or recruit them. Mahiru finds himself nominated by japan internet to be prey and he does it.

"Haunted House" Au where the Servamps arent vampires but still immortal and they get sentient houses out of it. I love this one.

Mahiru And The Witch's Broom Au, based off the movie Mary and the Witches Flower. An Au where Mahiru breaks his broom so he buys another that turns out to be a magic broom that broomnaps him into the magical world hidden from non-magic humans. He had picked up a normal "cat" the same day and the cat, Kuro, got broomnapped with him. Mahiru becomes a witch and its chaos, I love it.

There's also my Welcome To Demon School, Iruma-Kun au for Servamp. Akira made a deal with a demon, Tooru, when Mahiru was born in order to help take care of him and give him a family, Tooru gets attached to Akira and they both end up concidering themselves siblings and so obviously he loves his sister very much as well as his adorable nephew Mahiru. Akira dies and their both heartbroken, Tooru doesnt let go of the Shirota Visage and stays in the human world (illegally) to care for Mahiru. Shit happens and Mahiru gets sucked into the demon world and he isnt able to go back. There starts his new school life!

MY CORALINE AU, OF COURSE!!!!!

My clown au that is so for me specifically and i love love love LOVE IT.

My Au based off of the Lotus Flower Casino from the Percy Jackson movie specifically. Please ask about this one.

Mine and @pinkestlittlebutterfly 's Candy House au, which is a more mafia setting post-Tsubaki defeating that has all the demons being human apart from their servamps and each respective demon-servamp has History with each other. Sloth, named Rowan here, ends up falling in love with Mahiru in an attempt to steal away the thing Kuro loves the most. No, they are not related here but everything is great and Fibi's ideas are *mwah* CHEF'S KISS.

We also made a Fae Au together that i adore just as much.

My self-indulgent Sloth Pair move-out au where they get a really nice but trashed house they renovate and its very lovey dovey and domestic and a bit angsty bc Mahiru's never really been anywhere but Tooru's apartment and also Touma makes Tooru miss Mahiru's move-out day when they finally fix their house up. Also they somehow swindle C3 into paying their bills for saving japan.

The Bakery Au where Mahiru opens his own small bakery/resturaunt and takes in Kuro and attracts very annoying people because of it. They all love his cooking. Kuro ends up learning and helping Mahi along with Sakuya. Tho I admit that this au is a little half-baked..... ;3

The Au where Mahiru takes Sakuya up on his request to start a band together and their love gets stronger and stronger with each song and mishap they make and get into.

Love Is Stored In The Cat AU, where Kuro gets moved into the apartment next to Mahiru by a worried Lily, finds a random cat in his apartment one day that got into his house through the faulty balcony door, ends up meeting mahiru because thats his cat and they start talking and its really cute. This is a Kuro healing au.

That Au where C3 buys a place to make all of the Pairs + Team M live in together. Its a very big, nice, high tech house with more than enough space for all of them and their individual preferences but we all know thats not going to stop any chaos and sibling drama. It has a huge, high tech kitchen that I swear Mahiru is in love with. Hed marry it, theres so much space. Also there are a lot of other rooms for activities! Team M has a room dedicated to their game nights.

My IB au, following the game, Mahiru goes on a school field trip to a new museum and gets sucked in to the world of Germaine's paintings. In this au, Germaine immortalizes the servamps through art.

And there's of course the AU where Germaine gets a body of his very own and due to very tough and unfortunate circumstances, Mahiru makes a contract with him! Kuro is not happy.

Then there's the Merfolk Au i have where all the Eves are merfolk instead of the other way around.

How does the berry system work? if i want to give my ocs a bounty what should i consider? how do i know how high the bounty should be? what would be considered too high or too low? what type of bounty for what type of character? what's considered high or low? what to take into consideration?

Hi, thanks for your question! I'm so sorry for not answering sooner - university has been very busy and I've been stuck in hyperfixation land for another fandom. BUT the answer for how the Berry system is actually quite simple:

Apparently, 1 Berry is about the same as 1 Japanese Yen. And there are hundreds of converters from Yen to any currency and the other way around.

As for bounties, what's considered high or low changes a whole lot depending on which sea your character is in - bounties in the Grand Line are generally higher than in the four Blues, especially the East Blue, which is the weakest of the four. For comparison, Luffy, at the end of OPLA, has the highest bounty of the East Blue: 30 Million Berry. But in the Grand Line, you can easily get over 100 Million or more.

Power scalers in the fandom like to see a character's bounty as a representation of their strength. I say: Don't do that. Bounties are given based on how much trouble you cause for the Marines/the Government. This means if you don't get caught, you don't get a bounty. If you don't seem particularly dangerous, you don't get a bounty, or at least not a very high bounty. On the other hand, if you cause a lot of trouble (perhaps even by chance or without meaning to), you get a very high bounty. If you're related to people whom the government sees as dangerous, you'll get a high bounty. You can get a bounty just for pissing someone in power off, even if you only looked at them funny. Being a revolutionary or being connected to the revolutionaries will most likely get you a high bounty just by association.

So, to sort of summarize: Bounties are very situational. They depend on where the bounty is issued, who issues it, and how much of an annoyance or even threat your OC is to the Government - perceived, not actual!

As a general guide, I'd use other characters as a reference on what your OC's bounty should be. If your OC is similar to a canon character with a bounty, you could give them a similar bounty. If your character is weaker then them, go a bit lower; if they're stronger, go higher. I know I said strength isn't what makes a bounty, but someone who's stronger will often be considered more of a threat, so it's good criteria.

Some more notes: Not all pirates have a bounty, but at a certain point in the Grand Line, it's likely they will have one. 99.9% of World Government bounties are issued as "Dead or Alive". Finding someone with "Only Alive" is extremely rare and you'd need to justify why the Government wouldn't want them dead at any cost. As for "Only Dead" bounties, I don't think any of those exist, and the Marines have been known to pay bounty hunters 30% less than the allotted bounty for a dead pirate than if they were alive. Also, a bounty poster will usually have the wanted person's full name if possible, but the more well-known name is often preferred in cases where nobody knows the person's actual name. Pretty much every character with a bounty also has an epithet to go with it, so be creative with that! Think of "Red Leg" Zeff, "Straw Hat" Luffy, Kuro "of a Thousand Plans", stuff like that. Those epithets aren't visibly listed on the bounty posters, strangely enough, even though they seem to become "official" and known along with the bounty. Don't ask me how that works, it just does.

There are also country-specific bounties, but those work by a different system entirely and depend on the country they're issued in, so I won't go into detail about those here.

renai fankid. Kagero user. Psyqualia. A really nice kid. A bit lethargic and has his head in the clouds. He’s mostly daydreaming about vanguard and Cray. He keeps an optimistic attitude regardless of how others treat him. He can be a little sneaky and playful, using things to his own advantage (ie. using his cute charms for a headpat) but never had any ill intentions. Thanks to his best friend ‘mothering’ him he is a little spoiled and tends to expect the same from others. When he was younger, he was bullied and kept that to himself, not wanting to make his best friend or anyone else worried. He doesn’t want to feel like a burden to others. Is aware that he is a little ‘weird’ and is labelled as an ‘outcast’ so doesnt want others to fall into that same pit.

Shiro

Link Joker user. transfer from Hong Kong (chinese/japanese) and knows the Soryuu family. Was supposed to be an Aqua Force user. A very serious cardfighter. Dislikes nicknames. Has a hard time getting along with others who are the ‘fooling around’ type. Isn’t mean but does speak his mind. He is actually a very chill and kind person but loses his chill when around kousuke and michi (mostly Michi). Doesn’t laugh a lot, more on the stoic side. Can knit. Might be nominated for Student Council president??

Momoka (Momo)

Mikuru’s daughter. Pale Moon user. A vanguard nerd who keeps up to date with everything, it helps that she works at card capital. Keeps her job a secret bcuz she’s not supposed to have one but she doesnt work all the time. More like 1-2 days a week, 3 at most. Her mom wanted to be an idol and she does to so she has a stressed life. She’s not that popular, yet. Hardworking and determined but doesn’t really give herself a break. She comes off as tired but its worth seeing people smile, on or off the stage. Her stage name is the Pale Moon Witch? Uses a wig or lets her hair down as an idol, keeps it a secret.

Tatsunagi OC (I never named her cries)

Tatsunagi family (takes over after Nome). Like the others, she is simply an observer watching between Earth and Cray. Knows about the half units on Earth.

Kuro

Shadow Paladin half unit. One of the Dark Dragon’s Grade 4 kids. Meant to oppose the Ezel half unit. Emotionless and sticks to the mission. Is somewhat curious about Earth and doesn’t know how some things work. Goes to Fukuhara. Clueless about relationships and is just a pawn to the Dark Dragon.

Mamoeni fankid (never named her either RIP)

nonbinary? Angel Feather/Gear Chronicle. Good and quiet child with a heart of gold but stricken with an illness.

Sayako

Mamoru’s gf. Shadow Paladin user. Has a bad habit of smiling when nervous. Has to live up to older sister’s legacy but can’t handle it so she tries to come off as indifferent/nonchalant. Family thinks she’s heartless. Doesn’t know if she hates her sister or not because thanks! you left me with shit to deal with. Not lazy but hates being compared to her sister. Good but snarky.

I love Kuro. It was a while ago on a chat, but I realized I kinda have a type for delinquents. Oops. This mainly doesn’t go too much into the actions that make him a yan, I do touch on it occasionally or try to slip some of it in there, but I didn’t want to get too off-topic from the letters which meant I had to leave a lot of it out. Also, I wrote half of this 7 months ago and the rest today, so I’m sorry if it’s a little disjointed.

Also, I finally gave in and watched up to part 5 of Jojo, and I have… feelings. My poor friends are being subjected to all of them,, and someone should come to save them. TLDR for those curious, but I did not care for part 3, parts 1 & 2 were decent, I love part 4, from the art style to the characters, and part 5 I adore the characters, but I’m weak to character deaths :(. Maybe with time, I’ll possibly add them to my list but no hopes. Anyway, Kuro.

This would vary on if you leave or die rather than escape as he is also one where a lot of the relationship borders on unhealthy. It mainly is because Kiryu has some self-awareness to where things run too far but gets lost in the minor details. His delinquent past might affect some of his actions, but it's not as of he's one to ever use physical harm against you to get you to obey. He tends to focus more on voicing opinions. While he rarely might force you to not interact with others [generally completely strangers rather than friends or family unless he has proof they are bad news], there is a self-imposed guilt you feel when doing so, causing you to avoid others. Unlike others who force rules, and force isolation, Kiryu doesn't make it, so there ever is something you need to escape from. This would be unlike Eichi or Shu, for example. Even being yandere, it’s likely that with Kuro, the relationship develops naturally– or at least appears that way to an extreme extent that there never was some sort of reason to fear Kiryu in the form of genuine escape.

Leaving might be the most common reason or situation the two of you might face. Various reasons; thinking you need to experience life outside of a relationship, becoming tired of the relationship, dating an idol being too stressful, realizing you and Kiryu just don't connect past a honeymoon phase, etc. There are many reasons why you might want to break up, not wholly reliant on his yandere behaviors, but regardless of what it is related to, he often will have the same reaction.

No. Okay, maybe it comes off scarier than he intends when said like that, but Kiryu means, no, we can work this out. You know he's not attempting to come off as scary. He has never been in the relationship, and more so, his fear factor comes from how he traditionally is himself. Kiryu rarely even goes out of his way to threaten others to avoid you; the way he talks and carries himself does that for him unless he can find some valid excuse that even you can’t deny being a good option. Kuro also has never had a past of lying to you when he says he didn't threaten them or did something— it really was the others who picked to act that way post their conversation– although it’s hard to say for sure if there truly was never any violence or threats under his actions. However, no reason to doubt him is still no reason to use it in a breakup. It's not to say that he isn’t aware of his fear factor and thinks of it as a benefit in these situations, but honestly, he tries extremely hard not to do anything bad. He's changed from the delinquent days anyway when he would have quickly jumped to use violence to get them to stay away from you. Really, he doesn't want to do anything to tarnish his new reputation to you, nor have his actions come back and likely affect his sister or career. Leaving him becomes a lot more difficult because while he isn't necessarily the smartest at problem-solving or convincing you to stay as others might be, he tries. He tries so hard that it's impossible to stand your ground firmly. He works to make it so you can compromise [in his favor] to stay with him. Or a break up isn't really a break up— yeah, you've agreed to label it as a break, but this only if it's clear you don't want to date anyone else. Kiryu, even in this situation, hovers around more; not quite a relationship way that you feel you need to tell him to back off, but enough that it feels you're always on the brink of appearing still together. You can blame it on ES, for such a large building; it seems everyone is always wrapped up with each other in some way, although all of it is still profoundly intentional in Kiryu’s actions to stay near. If it is the route of still dating with compromises, these can vary but rarely will it alter or break aspects of his yandere traits as most of these result from his stoic, straightforward, and scary appearance. It's more working on adding things into the relationship to keep you more excited or understanding while a honeymoon phase is over; there are still think you can do together/have in common. Just cause one stage ends doesn't mean to give up; it means working to enjoy the next phase too. So ever really leaving is quite tricky because Kiryu's directness just results in a rebuff of finding reasons to stay, even if it gets to the point staying is just easier than leaving. There even is sometimes a sinking fear that you’d be throwing away the best partner you might ever get because of his personality over this. What if there really never would be anything better? Would you have to come crawling back to him begging for another chance– it’s entirely self-inflicted, but a tiny part of your mind would have to eat away at the possibility.

If you do manage to break up unless you are leaving the country as a whole, where it is hard to avoid Kiryu even if it's clear the relationship is over. Most of his actions feel like he's trying to win you back, such as cooking your meals or asking to spend time with you while he works on a sewing project. It's often weird, but his ability to be direct can make him easily be able to pass it off as being over you. These are just him, well, being him. Even in ways other idols can verify this is just his personality, even if he is being that awkwardly kind self. Under the surface, you know it's more than that… but there is no proof, the uneasiness no one else can understand. Though it's not misplaced, Kiryu's kindness might appear as just his standard attempt to make amends for his past as a delinquent, but everything he does is his goal of making you regret ending the relationship. That maybe you'll fall back in love with him, or you'll come crawling back, calling it a mistake. It’s undeniable that even with his jealousy and misplace tendencies he’s a wonderful partner, brother, and teammate. Kiryu deep down is still a good person fighting against his past and urges– and it’s hard to find someone who would likely treat you as good. Post breakup you’d likely fall back into seeing only happy couples too, it all sinking in just like you feared that even though you have so much life left to live you just tossed aside the best person you could have been with. Perhaps all that anxiety and weird feelings you were getting was from something else– your mind making all sorts of excuses to convince you to just text him those simple words. “Let’s get back together.”

Also all of this is his way of hovering to ensure no one else can pursue or harm you. Kiryu is well aware that even if he's changed from his past, others might hold grudges, and much like how he feared that might impact his sister, he knows that if it got out you were his ex, there is always a chance they might you use against him. Or there might be jealous fans— both upset you hurt him by breaking up or upset that you had the opportunity to date him. There is no telling what might happen, and he might not directly admit these reasons to you as it could become a bigger fight, thus harming the chance of ever getting back together.

Would he move on? If you're around, no. There is always a lingering chance, and if he is around just the same, you’ll unlikely be able to meet someone new. Okay, well, if you were gone completely… maybe. Just like how Kiryu has changed from his former delinquent lifestyle, he also knows there is a point in growing and changing in other ways. Not to say his yandere tendencies heal from this, but he knows it's unfair for him to forever pine after you when you are entirely gone living away from him. It doesn't happen quickly, he locked his heart away for years after this loss, and it's easy to tell even to others he becomes even more reserved [something most won't think was possible, but you proved them wrong]. He might become more snappy with subjects and reject many other forms of care, such as friendships. But in five years… ten years… things might change, and some of that ice might melt again, allowing him to try again. However, the second you show up once again he would be ready to start anew.

Furthermore, if you were to pass away either while dating or post-break-up, where you are still around, the answer is no. Kiryu will have believed that he was lucky enough to have met his soulmate so young, and unfair it might be he doesn't deserve a third chance. His personality is the same as if you were to move away forever; colder, and that stoic nature becomes bitter and quick to tell others off. He doesn't need anyone else, not friends, not someone to love. His sister really would be the only one who would have close contact with his personal life and understand on a deeper level his feelings, usually being the voice of reason to others as to why he became the way he is now [assuming this is in the future and she is also growing up]. He'd care for a grave site weekly, and overall, it feels like a piece of him died along with you.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

There are more what feels like two layers, and it depends on the reason and reason you might be having a moment of out-lash at him.

Take, for example, isolating yourself because you’re upset with him or an action he took or an argument. In this sense, Kuro would probably think you’re being childish. This is the behavior his little sister would have if upset or pouting, not an adult in a relationship. He would likely become more closed off and stoic at the moment and find himself annoyed at the action you are taking rather than settling to deal with the problem at hand. Ironically, it’s just as contradictory that he closes himself off too and doesn’t work to resolve the problem, but if you want to act like a childish brat, why should he have to fix the case you started? Kuro isn’t really the type to make it so you’re fully locked away, unable to have any form of life, and thus resort to isolating yourself in disdain for him. If in a fight, you do resort to isolation to calm down or whatever, then it’s expected you should be able to talk for a short moment before coming to Kiryu to resolve the issue. The longer you wait to talk over the ‘tantrum’, the more frustrated Kuro will get and likely leave him in a grumpy, cold mood to you for longer, unable to express his emotions as he doesn’t want to take them out on you either. Like this, his fear factor only increases, and his hovering nature seems to double for the amount of time you hid progressively. Even if it wasn’t forced isolation or him actively trying to scare other people off, they are now wanting to avoid him and you, by extension, even more. In the end, it only seems to backfire creating a cycle of loneliness problems.

As for something like screaming or crying in a fight, Kuro gets quiet for a reason of self-reprimanding. Not that he feels too guilty over his actions but that his actions once again come back around to hurt someone he loves. Kuro is well aware that his jealousy isn’t normal, and that his actions have never been the healthy solution, but he’s trying. He so desperately wants to amend his past, to melt and burn and tear up the negative and harsh feelings of jealousy boiling in his mind and heart. That this could all be normal, you could love each other and not have to feel this way if he just had done something different. And while he’s quiet, appearing perhaps slightly disinterested or the scowl on his face making you only fear more, he does nothing. He doesn’t take a step; he doesn’t flinch his hands, it almost looks like he’s not breathing with how steady he goes, telling himself not to lash out like the delinquent side of him wants to. He’ll simply wait, running scenarios and words over and over in his head while you exhaust yourself. Honestly, he’s probably not even processing the majority of your comments, so fixated on his thoughts. And as your screams turn into whimpers and tears begin to dry along your cheeks— too exhausted to keep going, Kuro will finally make his move coming over to comfort you. He’ll wipe away the crusting tears with a personal handkerchief and wrap you in his arms slowly as you hiccup those feelings away. In the end, you don’t remember what you were even screaming and crying about; Kuro too distracted to fully reflect the cause either. The fights are usually too far and few in between, but they are draining, with nothing ever being resolved waiting for the next time it comes around.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

Kuro takes a long time, at least compared to the majority of the other idols. And it stems from keeping his guard up— both because of his past haunting him and his natural exterior from being a delinquent, his personality, and his wish to change.

To start, Kuro knows his personality is… rough at least from an outsider’s perspective. He’s aware he’s intimidating, his a wall of a person, and his face doesn’t always convey the intentions in his heart. It’s no secret to anyone that even the softness he has is not easily exposed in his demeanor, nor that his ability to pick and throw grown men isn’t terrifying in itself. Even if you don’t come off as frightened by his rough exterior and bluntness to topics that come off as harsh or off-putting at times pre-relationship, there is a lingering doubt in his mind to rush into things. And this leads to the other point; Kuro wants to change. As mentioned, he’s deeply aware not only of his feeling of being over-driven to a not-so-standard degree but being a delinquent doesn’t come with an easy change. It’s not even the fights that are hard to shake off; it’s all of the mentality, the lessons, and skills that come from that life. He doesn’t want, you know, to see that person he once was. He might still be underneath everything because change is more complicated than people expect. Kuro wants the soul mate relationship he feels; he wants to be the knight, not the villain. He wants the fairy tale love from the stories and movies he watches with his little sister— more than giving in to his jealousy and unsavory thoughts. So he waits. Hoping that things can change, not progress.

And the other reason I touched on a little before. His guard has to be still and shaking when getting into a relationship is not easy. Kuro wants to relax, give in, and just let things happen. But being a delinquent means always being on guard, and his softness, while a strength can only be shown in small amounts, tries to keep himself safe. It falters around you more than others, even more as time goes on, but it takes a long time to chip away that shield. And the other guard is, like I said— Kuro knows delinquents make enemies. He has plenty, and while being a famous idol can protect him more so now others might seek revenge on his sister or you. It’s one of the key factors that both hinder and progresses his yandere tendencies because if his guard is up, you can’t love him back, and you won’t be a target. But you’re around him anyway… and it’s unlikely that delinquents care to verify a relationship’s true nature as long as it’s exploitable.

Between these contradicting factors, it takes months. This is beneficial for Kuro means everything can play out, and fall into a relationship like an average couple. One void is his tendencies fogging up the back of his mind, eating away at his heart. It genuinely starts off simple… progressing into seeing him while he sews— one of the few times he lets down his guard— and hanging out with him more and more. It turns into bringing you lunch and hands brushing over each other. It’s hard to suspect him of doing anything wrong, or thinking anything wrong. His rough exterior becomes a flustering teasing point that makes his ears burn, chin buried in his hand. And the bluntness is useful. Asking you out is direct. It’s effortless and more of a command, so you can only blush and agree when the time finally comes. Kuro doesn’t need to snap or to lure you into something. He’s one of the few that isn’t genuinely trapping you, but that doesn’t change the manipulation and fear dripping down his heart; one day, you’ll see past his facade to the delinquent locked away but never truly gone.

So you’re watchin’ funeral scenes in movies for visual references for this Funeral Contest?

Shu: You sure are in a good mood for whatever reason, Kiryu. It’s rare to see you so relaxed without a single wrinkle between the eyebrows… Did something good happen to you?

Kuro: Ahh, y’see, Itsuki… I feel like I’m able t’relate to ya for the first time.

They’re surprisin’ly nice, aren’t they? A frilly and fluttery cute outfit…

Shu: What on earth happened to you, Kiryu!?

Nazuna: Itsuki~… Kuro-chin is so cruel~, I even said I didn’t want to do it…

H-He forced me to wear children’s girl’s clothes and took picture after picture of me…

Shu: Kiryu. Come to think of it, we’ve known each other for a long time now, but I’ve never truly hit you before, haven’t I?

I do not think I can beat you, who knows karate, but as a gentleman, I challenge you to a duel. Kagehira, you stay here with Nito.

Mika: Nnaah…?

Nazuna: Well, I’m happy you’re angry on my behalf, but didn’t you used to do the same thing too?

Anyways, it’s fine. I’m not angry anymore, or rather, I feel like I was able to be useful to Kuro-chin out for the first time, so I’m happy about that.

Rather, Kuro-chin accepted me however I am. Back when I had been pretending to be a doll, and all this time up to now too.

It’d be unfair if I were picky and say that I only approved of the rough and reliable Kuro-chin he usually is.

Kuro: Nito…♪

Shu: Even so, I think it’d be better if you refuse what you don’t want to do, Nito.

Nazuna: That’s true, but… I’m the one saying it’s fine, so don’t fight about it on your own~. It’ll complicate things.

You have your hands full anyways, don’t you? You don’t have the time to bother yourself over us.

Mika: That’s true, but I don’t have a good understandin’ the circumstances either.

Kuro: So what are the circumstances, then… I feel like I’ve gone too far and lost Nito’s trust here, so I’d like to redeem myself.

I’m no stranger to Itsuki, and I don’t mind workin’ together to help out Nito’s old group.

Shu: I didn’t ask for your help. I am not in so much trouble that I would ask for your help, truthfully.

Kuro: Don’t say that. If three people gather, the wisdom of Manjushri, the more there is the merrier, no?

Shu: Hmph. Despite your inability to study, you seem to be able to come up with Buddhist idioms without any trouble. Just whose influence is that?

Anyways. We are planning to hold a Funeral Contest in accordance to our Grandfather’s impossible task.

Kuro: Hmmm. My mother quietly had hers amongst relatives. The rich sure like their flashy things, don’t they?

Shu: Right… It was restricted to relatives, so I regret that I was unable to burn incense for her on that day.

Your mother had done so much for me, yet I’m afraid I’d acted unfairly at the very end.

Kuro: Haha. You know best that my mother wasn’t the type to care about such things… Itsuki.

Shu: … …

Kuro: …My bad, I ruined the atmosphere.

Shu: No, the atmosphere should have been solemn from the beginning, that is… what a funeral should be like.

My grandfather is the strange one making a festival out of it.

Kuro: He’s been a strange old gramps for a while now.

But still, from what I do know ‘bout him, I know your gramps was a great guy. He was a real fine, respectable man.

Back when I was jus’ a stupid kid, if I went and did somethin’ I shouldn’t have, even though we weren’t related, he’d scold me ‘til the sun went down.

I’d even start sheddin’ tears…I can still hear your grandpa yellin’ at me every time every time I’m ‘boutta stray off the beaten path.

Shu: I agree… He’s gotten more irritable with age, but he truly was a great and respectful grandfather who would never do anything inhumane.

And yet… We have discovered this grandfather to have had an illegitimate child.

Thanks to that, my household is in commotion as if the entire world turned upside down!

Nazuna: I don’t mean to be impolite, but… Isn’t it a bit unbelievable to have an illegitimate child be discovered while the estate is sorting out inheritances? It’s straight out of a drama.

Kuro: Is it really true? Nobody’s makin’ this up? Or, y’know, just one of your gramp’s jokes?

Shu: As of right now, we don’t know its validity.

After saying what he had wanted and causing such a ruckus, Grandfather withdrew back to the hospital with no visitors allowed.

I cannot approach the man himself for confirmation. A hospital is a curious little world, where a doctor’s opinion takes precedence over the family’s.

If the doctor orders no visits, even one’s own family members cannot enter the forbidden cave.

Mika: Guess that’s a given… But it’s really such a suspicious situation, truly.

Up ‘til now, there hadn’t even been a rumor that he had an illegitimate child.

Shu: Yes. Grandfather is well-known both at home and overseas as having a loving wife, and it was “common sense” that the only woman he’s ever loved in his lifetime was my grandmother, who passed away some time ago.

There is simply no way he has an illegitimate child.

Nazuna: And this… Rafayello, claims to be this illegitimate child? That was his name, right?

Kuro: Who in the hell is this guy? Judgin’ by his name, he some foreigner?

Shu: I am assuming it is a fake name. He said that he is hiding his true identity for some unspecified reason, it’s immensely suspicious.

My parents and the rest are currently visiting a government office to confirm the truth, but… His identity remains unknown.

Mika: He gave a quick greetin’ while we were in the guest room in Oshi-san’s house, but he went quiet after that.

Kuro: Ya said he was speakin’ to ya through a doll that looked just like Mademoiselle…

We dunno where the doll came from, but ya think he installed some communication device in there?

Shu: That seems to be the case. Although I have not checked its contents, I do not wish to take apart such a beautiful doll.

If it comes down to it, we may need to ask someone mechanically-inclined to conduct a scientific analysis… But, we are not in a dire enough situation for that yet..

Kuro: Well, right now this all feels like some big joke. This whole thing, includin’ Raffaello, feels like a setup by Grandpa..

Shu: And so if it is, it would be foolish to contact the police about it in earnest..

Making a big deal out of it would be tasteless, as it would publicize and bring shame to the family.

Goodness gracious. It’s a hundred times better than having really passed away, but this Grandfather of ours sure is in trouble too!.

Do you think yana post arts and stuff about kuro again like she did in the past? Twisted wonderland is literally all she does now

Hey Anon! Actually, I don't know for sure why Yana-sensei stopped posting Kuro-related drawings on her twitter account, just like I don't know if she'll start drawing and posting them again one day. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

A few years ago, I used to think that maybe Yana-sensei was in need of a hiatus because she lost interest in Kuro, which is why the pace slowed down a lot but... now I'm not so sure.

A little while ago, I found out that the reason the Kuro chapters are short is because I believe Sensei also releases monthly chapters for Twisted Wonderland. Having two monthly series to deal with is A LOT of work, which is why she's very commendable and we should all support and thank her for keeping Kuro updated with as much regularity, even if the pace is slow.

Additionally, while taking a brief look into her twitter account, I find that she mostly publishes about merchandise rather than posting drawings for TW, so she probably is simply too busy to doodle freely, which is why there are less Kuro drawings. :)

TL;DR I think Yana works as much on Kuro as she does on TW. That's why she's so busy and probably has less time for birthday artworks or random doodles about Kuroshitsuji.

Tetsurou is writing his vows aloud.

“Kenma, you’re the best thing that ever happened to m-… no too cliché”

“I am SO lucky to have you in my life… hm no”

“There is no one else I want to spend my eternity with… no he’ll cringe at that one"

Tetsurou is writing his vows aloud, but he’s having a bit of trouble.

“Help me out here meow-san,” he says as he reaches over to pet his audience on the bed, a tabby Tetsurou and Kenma had adopted together years ago. “What words will really show how I feel about your dad?”

His audience only purrs before going back to sleep.

“Unhelpful kitty,” Tetsurou frowns as he goes back to staring at a page full of crossed out notes he thought were too cliché or not enough to express what he feels.

Loving Kenma has been the easiest thing he’s ever done, he just wishes he’d have all the words to express it.

“Kenma,” he says in their empty bedroom, hoping whatever he says next sounds good enough not to cross out later, “I’m in love with being in love with you.”

“You make the world less heavy”

“I want to ask how you’re doing everyday.”

“Sometimes I have a bad day, but then I remember you exist so it can’t be all bad.”

“I love when you look at me. I’d make a home in your eyes if it meant you'd look at me forever."

“I just love him so much meow-san!”

“I wonder if he ate all his lunch today?”

“With you, I’m my favorite self”

"Remember that time you fell into a koi pond and you almost became fish food? It’s not related to my undying love for you, I just thought it would be funny to include.”

“I love you. I love you. I love you.”

“I love that my clothes smell like you and my coffee mug is next to yours in the kitchen cupboard”

“In your hands, I've place my heart. I don’t know where else it’ll be more cared for"

“I should get dinner started”

“Thank you for playing volleyball with me that one time in April."

“You make me want to become better, for you, for me. For us.”

“My name has always felt safe in your mouth. I want to keep hearing it.”

“I know I’m allowed, but I love asking you if I can kiss you. It’s my favorite question. I love how you always say yes.”

“Kenma, Kenma, Kenma”

“I don’t think this is going anywhere,” Tetsurou flips to a new blank page after an hour of brainstorming, turning to Meow-san.

“My love for your father is just too big to contain in paragraphs it seems.”

Meow-san looks at him, before hopping off the bed to make his way out of the room.

“Don’t ignore me, young man!” Tetsurou scolds as he gets up to follow him.

It’s dinnertime and Kenma would be home soon from his one (1) work day at his office and Tetsurou, being a good fiancé and having had the day off, had promised he’d have dinner ready by then.

He only manages getting past the door because his favorite person happens to be standing in the hallway, Meow-san already in his arms. “Kyanma??”

“Kuro”

“When did you get here???”

“About an hour ago,” Kenma shrugs as he pets their son.

Tetsurou suddenly feels hot. “How much did you… hear?”

“How much do you want me to embarrass you?" Kenma teases.

“You’re so mean go me,” Tetsurou grins, cheeks rosy as he walks toward his beloved to kiss his forehead.

“Guess I’ll just have to come up with something else that’ll be extra embarrassing now.”

“I love you.” Kenma replies abruptly, as he lets go of Meow-san.

“I love saying yes to your request for kisses too.”

Tetsurou eyes widen at Kenma’s admission, his cheeks getting a little rosier as kenma’s ears become a little redder. In a corner of his mind he can’t help but feel amused at how admitting how much they mean to each other still causes them to blush like schoolchildren. He guesses that's just how love is, it never gets old.

Tetsurou cups Kenma’s cheek in his hand who immediately leans into the touch, “Can I kiss you?"

“Yeah” Kenma's firm in his answer as he reaches for Tetsurou’s shirt collar.

"I want to kiss all your smiles for the rest of my life if I can."

“And you say I’m embarrassing,” Tetsurou teases as he feels Kenma’s breath against his lips.

“Can’t help it. You make me want to say embarrassing thing, Kuro.”

All Tetsurou does is snort in amusement and all Kenma does is kiss his smile, keeping it safe in his mouth like he's done with all others.”

Tetsurou doesn’t end up making dinner, or finish writing his vows that night. But what he does do is eats the takeout they ordered and drafts his vows with his lips against Kenma’s. He figures he can write them down later.
