Zephyr is a strong believer that life is sweetest when it’s shared with others. Supportive and outgoing, when he's in a crowded room, he's the one fluttering around making sure that everyone is having a good time. Loyal to a fault, he tends to build lasting relationships with nearly everyone he speaks to, and can be counted on to show up whenever a hand or ear is needed. Knowing that there are folks out there who rely on him gives Zephyr's life a purpose. This isn't always a good thing as his deep desire to protect the ones he loves often leaves Zephyr acting as a shield rather than a blade.

He's calm, cool, and collected under pressure. Instead of letting little things get him down, Zephyr approaches every interaction with a carefree attitude and a smile on his face, only resorting to violence when those he cares about are threatened. Zephyr believes that unexpected moments are what lead to life's biggest surprises, and he welcomes them with open arms. His warm, positivity radiating presence quickly disarms those that come into contact with him. He's able to crack through even the toughest of people's exteriors just with a smile and a few well-placed winks, if all else fails he's more than happy to buy the next round at the bar.

Out of The Carpathia, he's usually the person who plans activities, notes everyone’s birthday, and keeps everyone feeling like they’re a value to the group that he knows they are. Zephyr is easily the connecting link that holds everyone else together. He gets stressed when he feels like events outside his control are moving or changing too quickly. He also dislikes too much alone time and tends to gravitate to the parts of The Carpathia that see the most traffic.

Zephyr is one of the first crew members of The Carpathia to wake every morning, and he spends that quiet time doing dance-like stretches that ensure that all of his muscles are working to the best of their abilities in between cups of coffee. In these quiet moments, where he believes that no one else can see, he lets the mask of his happy-go-lucky exterior fall, a more melancholic expression taking over that he'll quickly brush away before returning to the task at hand.

sege-h and I have been talking about an AU version of V who stole a baby Storm and gets chased down by a really pissed off Atos, and then we decided to give them more kids. The green one is Zephyr and the teal one is Sirocco.

continuation of the ghibli fan school; it has a name now!

Zephyr Valley Academy

and this is the logo! it's a bit rough right now and there are definitely changes i want to make, but this is the first draft i have of it. explanations for both the name and design will be under the cut!

so about the name... here are the definitions/explanations for the words chosen!

zephyr: a soft gentle breeze; according to wikipedia, ghibli is "the name of a hot desert wind also known as sirocco, derived from Libyan Arabic (قبلي, 'gibli')." building upon the whole nature vibe i have planned, i chose 'zephyr' because it referenced the wind from ghibli while also fitting the vibe!! (guys im SO bad with words please forgive me)

valley: a low area of land between hills or mountains, typically with a river or stream flowing through it; like i said in the last post, the school is located in a secluded, remote hillside with lots of fields and flowers. also because that makes the name sound slightly similar to stardew valley and i think thats cute

now as for the design...

i chose totoro for the mascot because its just the most iconic symbol of ghibli + totoro is in their logo! honestly i might change my neighbor totoro from a dorm to just the main theme for the whole school just from how iconic it is...

the seven butterflies are for the seven dorms!

again, with the nature stuff, lots of leaves and flowers and plants!

New idea for Blackwings: Instant Fusion, Barox, and Hundred Eyes Dragon. Barox as a level 5 Fiend is ideal Synchro material, and Gale the Whirlwind is a great level 3 DARK Tuner. Blackwings offer a bunch of good on-field effects, like Sirocco's power boost, Gale's attack halving, Shura's summoning, and Bora's piercing. Issue is though unless I also run Breeze the Zephyr, Gale is going to be the only compatible Tuner. Though that's not too bad, a level 5 is still ideal for my other Synchro plays, but really I think the main problem is extra deck space is tight. I think I'll consider other level 3 DARK Tuners that could fit into DARK-based decks so I can consider this play in other strategies, including Black Salvo, Dark Resonator, Genex Ally Birdman, Junk Synchron, and Twilight Rose Knight

Meet Zephyr and Sirocco

I wanted to play around with the Breed Mixer tool so I decided to cross a Bengal with an Ocicat, and these two guys were the result (after a little custom painting).  Watching them move around is like cuteness overload, and don’t even get me started on what they look like as kittens.  One word of caution, both cats are extremely territorial, so probably not a good fit for Sims with small children.

[name here] serves as the first mate on the sky ship known as the Carpathia and keeps the non-mechanical and non-arcane aspects of the ship operational. He's the oldest (human) on board and has the most experience with the Carpathia's current line of work. Often times the voice of calm reason, the other members of the crew look to him for guidance when the going gets rough.

Before the Carpathia [name here] was under the employ of the Krymménos family, where he had been tasked with the guard of their youngest child - a duty he still holds dear even if he doesn't get paid for it anymore

Introducing... Sirocco! If you follow my Faba hate blog you may know that, sadly one of my crabs, Zephyr died. I won't go into it but I still feel terrible. Now if you know about crabs- they're social animals. So I needed to Gale a friend. So I got Sirocco today! He's slightly smaller and the orange is more vibrant than the orange on Gale!
