Fun Fact: In an attempt to recreate the Super-Soldier Serum, the US Government in Marvel Comics once threw basically every source of superpowers into this one single dude.

He got:

Kurt Connors' Lizard Formula

So what did that produce?

Corporal Todd Ziller, aka the American Kaiju.

Before anyone gets any patriotic notions at the sight of him, Todd is at best a massive source of collateral damage and innocent lives ruined, and at worst a weapon the US Military deploys against superheroes.

I should, at this point, mention that Godzilla does actually canonically exist in the mainstream Marvel Universe, appearing in dozens of comics between 1977 and 1985, when Marvel lost the comics rights.

This dude is a ripoff in-universe.
