I sometimes listen to the ZombieRun episode S1E7 and I think: yes that’s me… I’m the girl that will be secretly glad that the apocalypse happened and not because I think I’ll survive the zombie apocalypse but because then I won’t have to worry about all this boring, tiring future I’m building in the sand.

This year we want to turn Asbury Park upside down with the return of the living dead in an 80’s and 90’s punk rock and heavy metal themed event! The city by the sea has an incredible history as an epicenter for emerging music and creativity. Join us on the Asbury Park Boardwalk for a day of fun, music and of course… brains!

You do not have to have a costume that matches the theme, we're just trying something different! Come as whatever type of zombie you like!

About The APZW

The Asbury Park Zombie Walk was founded in 2008 and has become one of the most iconic events on the AP Boardwalk. It is recognized as one of the largest events of its kind in the USA.

The New Jersey Zombie Walk broke the Guinness World Record™ for 'WORLD'S LARGEST GATHERING OF ZOMBIES' in 2010 AND THEN AGAIN IN 2013!

What Is A Zombie Walk?

A Zombie Walk is an organized gathering of people who dress up in zombie costumes and then converge quickly in a public area for surprise and fun. Walks usually in urban areas such as shopping malls or town squares. Participants arrive at a pre-determined time (often at a hidden location) and then emerge as a group to creep in a somewhat orderly fashion through shocked and amused crowds, towards a final destination (usually a cemetery, club, bar or after party).

During the Walk, all participants are encouraged to remain in character as zombies, lurching, shambling, dragging limbs and communicating only in a zombie-like manner (such as grunting, groaning, moaning and slurred calls for “brains”.) Zombie Walks are always free events. With the exception of Zombie Pub Crawls, most walks are

Why I deleted the Zombierune blog

Okay so, just now I deleted the Zombierune blog. Why? Why after I tried so hard to revamp it did I delete it?

The answer is simple :

I left the Deltarune because it was boring.

Some people can take a canon character and revolve a whole blog around them, just with a twist. They've grown stale without any real Deltarune content coming out, I can't live on an un-finished story forever, which brings me to my next point ;

I don't want Deltarune to define me.

I have so many ocs, and an expanding story. To have that ignored only to look at some fluffy goat guy would be crushing, and is one of the first reasons why I decided to drop it. Will I return to it? Who knows, but I don't wanna hold empty promises saying it's still being updated.

Zombierune actually drove me into a depressive state.

At one point, I was in a state of mind that wasn't healthy. I tried desperately to please people -- be noticed for my art skills. I kept comparing myself to artists who had cleaner art, /better/ art some would say. I kept trying to be relevant with something I wasn't passionate about, it made me cry several times a day because I thought about it so much.

So, what now?

I will be posting original content and fanart on the side -- things that I feel passionate about. I already feel a big burden being lifted off my back with the removal of that blog, I will possibly be making another blog dedicated to my original story that hasn't a name yet.

Deltarune Zombie Apocalypse AU???

-Whole thing takes place on the surface (not the dark world)

-Susie & Kris’ town is taken over by the zombie infection and they’re forced to work together to survive

-They hear from some other survivors about a village being set up by the Spade King & decide to check it out

-King is forcing villagers (the inhabitants of the dark world) to work in exchange for food, shelter, etc

-susie & kris run into ralsei living in the forest with no idea about the outbreak

-three of them team up bc ralsei knows about survival having lived in the woods

-villagers spot them coming and alert king

-king sends lancer and villagers to stop them coming because he doesn’t want any more of his resources taken up

-ralsei and kris are against hurting the villagers trying to stop them but not susie

-rouxls is the one who makes sure villagers are filling their work quota

-jevil spoke out against king so was locked up

-seam’s shop is on the very edge of the village

-when they get to the village center (card castle) king threatens lancer with a gun instead of dropping him off a building

-in the end, king is overthrown and the village can be rebuilt under lancer’s leadership
