Zoro in wano unleashed his first mate over-protective mode the moment he was reunited with luffy and i live for it. Zolu in wano is everything.

Note that all of the straw hats are protective of luffy but zoro's protectiveness is on another level.

The future King of the Pirates somehow found himself turned into a baby and now has to find his crew! Thankfully a skilled swordsman (rattle handler) was right nearby and found himself in the same predicament. What shenanigans have they gotten themselves into?

(So I'm not that new to the OP fandom having started sometime last year and just about to enter the Fishman Island arc and I thought it was about time to baby-fy these little monsters! Also after watching the OPLA motivated me to draw them :)

As a slight difference between these babies and the past ones I've drawn, Luffy and his crew have retained their memories from their older selves so don't be fooled so easily cause these babies can still put up a strong fight!)

I'm just thinking and you're a captive audience.

Think about how many good ship fics you have missed because someone else thought a ship name was different.

Like, take Zoro and Luffy for example. You don't need to know one piece for this, just look at the names.

Think about how many different combinations can exist to create a pairing name from that.

If you're familiar with the ship, you probably already think of zolu.

When I was first introduced to the ship, I called it called it Zorffy.

Another name I've seen is Luzo.

And a classic is ZoroxLuffy.

I need you to understand that there is never just one pairing name. And people will lean into some more than others.

But that's not the point.

Think about how many good fanfics are hidden because someone is dedicated to one form of the ship name.

Not saying that people should change their preferences and what they call shit, do whatever you want.

However-

I need those fucking fics. Hand them over. I can't think of anything else this godforsaken pairing is called, please give me the names! I need more fic to read!

So I haven’t talked about it here but I’ve been watching One Piece and have thus far resisted shipping anyone. But as I get through Water 7...

I have many many thoughts that I have been violently pushing away so I can appreciate the friendships therein, and I still love the friendships that form, like GOD the friendships and bonds are SO GOOD. But I have been, and always will be, a shipper, so I expanded on a series of tweets I made last night!

I can respect and understand that there isn't a whole lot of canon shipping in One Piece and I do enjoy the tight bonds of friendship that take romance's place.

But I also cannot ignore the Monster Trio OT3 that's staring RIGHT AT ME. Or, even better than that, to make it angsty and bittersweet, Zoro pining over Luffy knowing that Luffy will never notice, and at first just starting to mess around with Sanji as a means to try and distract himself, but then he eventually starts to enjoy sleeping with Sanji (it’s better when they’re not bickering, but also the angry sex is a lot of fun), but he also knows Sanji thinks he's so pathetic for having a crush on the captain, you know, the captain who has never in his life shown romantic interest in anyone, so eventually Zoro lashes out at Sanji.

"I’m pathetic? What, and you're not pathetic for all the swooning you do over Nami and Robin?"

Sanji just chuckles at him, agreeing that he knows he has no real chance with either of them. "But knowing that doesn't stop the feelings, does it?"

An understanding passes between them, and after that conversation, Zoro doesn't give Sanji as much shit about his womanizing, because he knows Sanji is still going to do it even if they are kind of a thing, and if Sanji notices Zoro watching Luffy too closely during the day and then holding onto Sanji a little tighter when they're in bed at night, he doesn't say anything.

I'm in the thick of Water 7 right now so these are my feelings based on the Straw Hats at this point in time. Episode 260 is where I stopped last night and hell yeah, 260 was a good stopping point after posting these thoughts because well. [motions at these screenshots]

In the most respectful manner possible, Luffy says jump, and Zoro doesn't even ask how high because he already knows, and he'd do anything for his captain without question.

When I have more episodes under my belt, I’ll probably write for these three. Because why not?
