New bookmark design. I saw some Herdies while climbing Whernside and thought "they should make the aro pride flag out of Herdies and grass" then realised I'm an artist - I could make the aro pride flag out of Herdies and grass. Constructed these sheep instead of copying from reference, doesn't look very good but hopefully people have lower standards than me

Did a study from Starman #4 (art by Tony Harris). The sketch didn't go well (and I spent several attempts failing to draw the face, at one point even trying to trace to get the head angle right and still failing) but hopefully the rendering saved it a bit. Shade's so handsome but also so hard to draw. Eventually I'll get good at it. I had the epiphany that he reminds me of Death from Discworld, so I'm making him speak in Times New Roman

I'm being so strong and disciplined by working on my comic when what my autism wants to do is churn out Shade fanart.

Left one was perfectly cropped so I freestyled him during the inking (discovered him between the sketch and inks), second one already had a top hat in the sketch, twas fate. These are in a background where Echo is dreaming they are in a comic shop

My new blorbo is canonically associated with swans >:)

Ever since falling in love with birds, I've associated Arkham City Riddler with mute swans; the suit makes him look elegant, but he's actually an aggressive little bugger who would hiss at you and bite you (sidenote: I hope bird flu ends soon, I miss feeding swans out of my hand and getting bitten)

Even if you hate asexuals, there's minors on this website, it's 13+, if you don't tag it or use content labels then the people seeing it without consent could be kids. Even if you think "just curate your online experience! Block people!" they'll still be exposed to it initially.

I haven't drawn him being insufferable about his aromanticism for too long.

Love and Leashes discusses how D/s relationships are about unequal footing, while romantic relationships are on equal footing, which inspired this (although it does end up with a romantic relationship). Shout out to aro kinksters (it's me I'm aro kinksters)
