More progress on the Ryu WIP for Batman Vs Street Fighter, based on his Street Fighter Alpha sprite sheet. I did the last 2 animations today, which look pretty good compared to some from last time which don't look good and felt very demoralising at the time

Wanted to make the Artist canonically aro in one of the continuities (for my fictional universe that will be a fandom in my comic), so I made a mock screenshot for the Shadowverse games (based on Arkhamverse). In Shadebringer: Shadow of Love, the villain Lovebug has launched an attack by filling the city with chemicals that make people "in love" and there's all sorts of crime and chaos happening. Shadebringer is like Batman in that the writers didn't consider him being aro, he just is too strong-willed to succumb to love. In this death screen, a lot of the fandom definitely ignores him talking about being romance-repulsed, and focuses on the last sentence and uses it to ship him with Shadebringer with the classic "he can't love... until someone fixes him".

Posting WIP to hold myself accountable!!

Guys this is the creative project I'll finish I promise... (don't worry I'm still working on Chased Through Dreams I have a schedule)

I really want to make a Batman Vs Street Fighter game. I'll do the graphics then get someone to code it, and if I can't get a programmer I'll still have the animations as proof of concept. Here's the start of Ryu's animations, based on the Street Fighter Alpha sprite sheets. I might have to redo it at the end when my animation skills improve - they're very rusty, and I haven't done much animation of muscular people moving. The first animation in this looks pretty good but I think the other ones have bad proportions. I also did 2 unrelated pieces of Riddler fanart to procrastinate

Background practice from Marvel Superheroes Vs Street Fighter. It was time-consuming, but fun. Hopefully if I practice enough from reference I'll eventually be able to make my own. It seems I'm capable of drawing good backgrounds or good people but not at the same time.
