the thing that's truly crazy about scream is that whether you choose to view them as gay or not billy and stu genuinely enjoy each other's company. they're fucked up but they don't pull the "oh billy was just using him and doesn't really care if he dies" like nah that man puts up with antics and shenanigans. when he's bleeding out on the floor billy's just like "oh fuck this is bad for our plans here i'll do the bad stuff you stay here with the phone." he's not like "ugh you fucking idiot" (much). they're just frands
