IT KlLLS ME seeing how katniss was so excited and nervous and dizzy at the thought of finally seeing peeta after over six weeks, that she’d assumed that they would kiss again and wondered if it’d feel like their kisses in the beach, when she’d felt something. that she even felt disappointed when she found out her face wasn’t the first one he saw when he woke up, she thought he was looking at her with both the desperation and desire of a lover when she got close, she thought he was gonna caress her face and she would get to embrace him. she was out there literally expecting (not even hoping for) a romantic reunion worthy of any romance novel and all she got out of that was a neck collar because hijacked peeta strangled her.

Just re-watched journeys end and was reminded just how devastating Donna’s story is. I mean her whole character arc was erased in a second all because she touched a hand in a jar. Don’t get me wrong it was amazing to watch but it’s still just so sad.

She spent her life being told she was a disappointment and a failure, then this spaceman comes into her life and tells her she’s amazing and important and she finally starts to think that maybe just maybe she is important and she can be amazing and the whole universe knows her name. Then it was ripped from her, the knowledge, the love, the confidence, her best friend was taken away from her and she would never know it (until the special of course, but let’s ignore that for a sec)

When she wakes back up it’s really shocking to see just how much she had changed, even her voice was a little different.

right person wrong time will always get me. the i had a huge crush on you, you were oblivious, now you like me. Imagine how the person who was oblivious felt. probably guilt and sadness. or when they like each other at the same time, love each other but can’t be together because of some weird circumstances or something. or maybe they met in passing and were drawn to them but already had boyfriends or girlfriends and decided not to talk to each other. or maybe they met on a vacation and they spent months thinking about each other, but they both changed and lost feelings. the type of people you know are soulmates, you can just tell.

I think an important conversation could’ve happened if Steve found out that the reason why Dustin and Mike (even Erica) didn’t come to Lucas’s basketball game was because of the hellfire club and that Eddie was being a little unreasonable. Steve wouldn’t have been so easy on any of them and he would’ve made it a point that Lucas’s feelings should’ve been taken into account before doing something this mean even if they didn’t see it in this way. Overall Lucas deserved an apology especially since all he wanted was for his friends to not get bullied and not only that but do something that he genuinely loved. I’m very disappointed that Lucas was treated so poorly for no reason this season and everyone just kind of ignores it, everyone was wrong in the way they treated him.

Edit: keep in mind Lucas is fifteen in this season and I can’t stop thinking about how this is a kid!!! Who only asked for one thing and was met with this kind of treatment? It’s unfair and I’m not afraid to say that because it was.

It’s so sad that Silver’s final interaction with Amy is her getting mad at him and storming off, he never gets to apologize or get any closure with her, and the last time he sees her is when she’s crying over the body of the same guy he almost killed in front of her

I kinda found myself coming onto tumblr from facebook to just get away. I made the mistake of commenting on a post where someone mentioned they liked Tauriel then proceeded to get completely ROASTED by the fan community when she mentioned she was happy Tauriel was added to the story. I just commented that I loved her and her love story with Kili was adorable. Then I was roasted. So much FUN when you have anxiety every time you see a notification on facebook and have to read a comment telling you why you shouldn’t like the Hobbit movie if your a true Tolkien fan, and how unnatural Kili and Tauriel were, and how elves and dwarves were never romantically involved yada yada yada. I was even called cancerous to the community. Fun times. So ya. Now I am trying not to have a total anxiety attack because I feel completely degraded and ridiculed by Tolkien fans, for loving the Hobbit movie…a fantasy movie…based on a fantasy book…with fantasy beings…in a fantasy world.

It’s just…kinda nice coming here to see people who don’t hate on you or tear you down. I’m feeling a bit…off and pulled under and I hate feeling like that. I just want to be able to say I love something in a fandom I thought we were all part of without being so torn down I feel…embarrassed? I don’t know if that’s the right word or not but something close to that.

Anyway. Thank you hobbit tumblr community. I feel safe here. It doesn’t seem to matter who your ship is, Bagginshield, Kiliel, Figrid, Gimli/Legolas(I don’t know the short hand to that one lol), oc, character/reader…everyone here is supportive and kind. It is a far less toxic community here than over there where you are not allowed to like the Hobbit movies…or if you do, you learn quickly to keep it to yourself.

This is the real fam community. This is support. I know it’s not perfect here, but thank you for being kind and welcoming to the hobbit trilogy loving middle earth fans.

Per my earlier post, we needed mother/daughter dynamics on this show. It’s actually insane how a major driving plot point of the series is that the CHOSEN ONE is clearly something passed down at least somewhat matrilineally from one female source and they chose to centralize father figures and the relationships with their SONS instead because….???

What I’m saying is we KNOW many characters have issues with their mothers, through practically throwaway lines: Patricia and Piper, Alfie, Jerome for certain, but other than those characters NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THEIR MOTHERS EXCEPT FOR EDDIE, MARA, AND WILLOW!! And we can assume their moms are probably nice, but we don’t actually know!

We get a lot of grandma talk from Nina but no Mother. And KT was raised by her aunt which means she’s also an orphan. They would rather kill off mothers than talk about them!! And that was a MISTAKE!! Because there was SO MUCH POTENTIAL for parallels, but NOOOOOO

Percy’s first few chapters with camp half blood piss me off looking back. I just got chased by the Minotaur?? I was forced to kill a mythological creature hours within knowing they exist?? My MOTHER IS DEAD?!?!!

Imagine your moms dead, you just found out your dad is a Greek god. He’s NOT claiming you, you have to prove yourself first. All the weird instances that happened in your childhood are starting to come into place. Oh, and there’s a few kids giving you the stink eye cause that should’ve been them.

Like I love Clarisse and Annabeth but if someone was giving me shit for nearly dying and being unhappy we’d be boxing.
