Can I give the Mer's little bows ? 🎀
Dust: 10/10 looks grumpy but was compliant with having bows put on him. only glared once when his scales got pinched
Killer: 7/10 enthusiastic to have bows put on. points docked for not sitting still and also biting my hand
Horror: 0/10 threatened to drown me if i tried to put bows on him
Main Timeline
Nightmare lives by the ocean and visits Killer occasionally
all four mer chose to stick together
Aquarium Timeline (inspired by Tilikum)
Nightmare works at the aquarium. He talks to the four through the glass of their (separate) enclosures sometimes, usually to vent or talk about his day since he doesn't have any friends. If you (guest or employee) accidentally drop things in their tanks, you're not getting it back. Ever.
The Trio are there for killing humans; Killer and Horror are there as a substitution for being killed (the "standard procedure" for their species), but Dust is there because they haven't observed this behaviour before in Eel Mer. Cross's lore/personality is unmade (for now)
Nightmare's outfit; wetsuit/jacket
Mentioned fic 'Tilikum' by @llamagoddessofficial , fic found here (it's so well written, definitely check it out! trigger warnings in the fic tags are violence, drowning, murder, abuse, generally stuff resulting from keeping sentient beings in an aquarium.)
as an apology/appeasement for tagging llama in a random bad sanses post (fanart of a Tilikum scene)
