Shriek 1
Shoulders stretched back as far toward her neck as her hands, interlocked, could pull them, Kim revelled in the fresh air that pushed against her back.
“Not too far now, Kim. Brace yourself. It’s not as pretty as they might’ve wanted it to be.”
“When has it ever been pretty with you?”
Georgia, now a sheriff and self-proclaimed captain of her light vessel, shook her head and smirked. Then she quickly changed gears jolting the vessel forward. A few dozen meters ahead were mounds of sand that would’ve ruined everything.
Georgia said, “We would’ve had to swim, I guess.” They each laughed, knowing the last swim had been neck and neck. “Okay, we’re getting closer. It’s surreal believe me. The killer, or killers - you’re about to cringe at this - they sprinkle tonnes of purple glitter where they dump the body.”
“Expositionists then?”
“Don’t tell me you’re still asking for my stamp of approval Kim? I dropped forensics too long-ago babe.”
“Yeah well, that’s probably what it is then. They’re an artist. They want us to find their mer-people, or whatever. People, right? Not just women...”
“Right, actually, mostly men. These island works a little differently. There’s a role reversal culture burgeoning here. It’s why I chose it. But if it’s a female killer…”
“It’s not.”
“You catch on quick sir!”
Now it was Kim’s turn to smirk. “So, he slices a leg off or they’ve all coincidentally been chewed off…”

Reunite
No matar. No robar. No violar.

How is communism even against competition if it competes with the status quo to say, “no, stop buying stuff at 5 cents an hour - it’s rude, and yes, you are part of your company, not a possession of a company.”

I like spotting these woke kids paywaving with either of the same big banks that destroys Earth and torture it’s inhabitants  -- “Although I’d encourage people to vote with their feet, it’s likely that Westpac’s actions will go unpunished by customers, who are shown to be more likely to get a divorce than they are to change banks. “

THE GREAT FILTER THEORY
Part 1. On “Weakness” and Judgement
I think, most people are afraid of weakness so they are repulsed by it when they see weakness in others. I think, for the most part, they fear weakness because they themselves are weak and weakness, or the absence of energy, leads to death when it is stressed beyond its limit. They don’t like having some abstracted version of their own limitations boasting their extinction to them through a filter. They hate themselves, first and foremost because they can’t save themselves.
Part 2. The Great Filter
The Great Filter theory reminds me of an existential threat I feel among my own kind. Have I gone beyond a Great Filter? Chances are, I am stuck behind the great dividing chasm that separates me, the unconscious prosumer from the authentic producer.

I wish someone would read this page from my diary and prescribe me a text. I don’t have the money or time for therapy, but I do have the time to read. Thanks team.
I play a chess game to satisfy this primal desire just to win, this desire that the game feeds, to compete, to compare, to want to be better, and to feel satisfaction with victory, and to feel satisfaction with success.
This is something of a mediocre taste for a high-achievers’ culture; this desire to win. How do I embrace the loss then, the loss of friends and credibility? Where do I go to learn how not to lose again?
                                             What is the plan?
We must compete. Even in helping one another there is competition, this is the effort in team sport when every body wants to help more than at least one other person. Every body wants to help the team to win. And if you help the least in every way possible, if you can't even help the team to laugh, then the team likes you less because you are not helpful to the production of a meaningful life. So then what do you become if you cannot help?
A dead cell. A dead gene. A dead meme. The most useless; the most helpless.  And helplessness is product to death.
Moving away from helplessness requires a certain level of effort, to exert energy through time to ones practice in help. This level of effort has to come from a secular desire to win and a devotion to the victory that only allows you to enjoy yourself, knowing that your practice is perfect and that your effort is meaningful because it gives you a chance to win, and to succeed in the meaningful production of life.
Then you might ask what life is? Well in this sense, life is all that is good. Life is all that wins and all that has won over helplessness and death. This is what we strive for; simply for life.
If I understand this at 22, in my third year of university, and with great delays in my degree, is it too late? Am I spoiled? Should I settle for where I know my loss of time and energy have left me?
And where has this left me?
I need a better perspective on this context. I need to be helped to see my capacity; my capacity that started almost as an infinite resource to help, from birth, but that was gradually wasted for 22 years; lost. Where does it leave me?
What can I do within the next two years, if all I am left with is a decent functional body, a brain in recovery from drugs, energy and desire to grow, and time to give to literature for another few years before I've solidified as a human adult and reached my climax of energy, growth and flexibility?
When the walls start to close in faster, where should I finally decide to work, to help?
