I know it's pride month and we're supposed to be celebrating our identities but lately I've been thinking that it would be a lot easier for me to start using the term biromantic instead of aromantic. I'm someone who doesn't seem to develop romantic feelings but I still want to be in a romantic relationship, and I know the term for that is typically cupioromantic but it's so exhausting having to explain to each potential partner that that's what I am. It seems that in practice my identity closer resembles bi/panromantic, but internally its closer to aromantic. And I know that if my partner doesn't understand and respect my identity then they shouldn't deserve to be in a relationship with me anyway, but I can't find ANYONE who gets it, and they end up completely ignoring it anyway, so why go through the trouble of trying to explain my aro/cupioromantic identity if they don't care in the first place. Idk, sorry for bringing internalized aphobia to the chat today I just need some encouragement or advice on how to start dating as someone on the aro spectrum bc I'm not getting any bitches and I'm tired
