She’s insane when it comes to recreating pop culture from that time whether it’s Megan Fox in “Jennifers Body”, vintage Playstation 2 ads or Britney Spears iconic looks and moments.

This is my first time listening to a Jojo project so my opinion is completed unbiased.

This record is definitely one of my favorites from this year. She gives everything you would want and expect from an r&b record. She tells a story with her instrumentals and vocal melodies.

We get to visualize how she tries to love a person on songs like “Feels Alright” whilst also trying to love herself on tracks like “Lift”. She totally makes herself vulnerable with listeners as if there was a conversation happening.

Throughout the album, you can tell that she has a desire for love but she can’t help but think it would be ruined because of the mental state she’s in. The artist seems to overthink the outcome of the possibility of negative energy.

I personally love the album so much. My top 3 would be “Lift”, “Dissolve” and “Anxiety”. The whole album shows of her vocals in the best way. The story was very relatable. I love that in “Lift” she found what she needed in the end. It was the perfect album closer❤️
