As a life update, Honeybee and I are heading out to her job interview! We're both kicking out all the negativity from our lives and starting fresh. Happy Saturday, Cinna-Buns!!! Honeybee and I took the reference photo a few months ago and I absolutely loved this photo. That being said, I took some liberty with the color dodge tool and was playing around with shading to create really soft textures. I think this might be the best Polaroid I’ve made to date, and I hope you guys like the drawing!!

Hello Cinna-Buns!! It’s been a while but Baby Bunny is back to uploading regularly. Honeybee has been amazing at keeping out Instagram updated on a daily basis, she is honestly the greatest girlfriend and I couldn’t have asked for a better co-blogger and best friend. 

I decided to draw Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Charmander from Pokemon as cute human girls. This was a lot of fun to draw because I got to play around with poses, color dodge, and elemental powers. I have a few more Polaroids and fan art to post, and I’m so excited to share them with you!

Weeks ago my sister called me up all upset because her boyfriend had broken up with her. He had gone to my old high school and bounced around from state to state when he met my sister online. They were together for a few months short of a year when he broke things off rather out of the blue (she found out later that he was seeing another girl. For the record, she looked like a thumb with hair)

She was devastated because this was her first long term relationship and in the moment she was convinced that her love life was over at the ripe age of 15 and that he cheated on her because she “looked like a hominid.” Everything I said to try and cheer her up or convince her that she did not look like an ape seemed to make things worse and eventually I handed the phone over to Honeybee.

I don’t remember much of their conversation, but whatever Honeybee said it helped my sister to feel better, even when she called herself a potato. Honeybee went into “Big Sister” mode and listening to her calming down my sister was incredibly sweet. 

When you’re in high school and your heart has just been broken, it always feels like the end of the world. You feel like no one likes you because you’re ugly and you’ll never find anyone ever again. Then a few days or weeks later you pick yourself up, realize that you’re only 15 and have a few more heartbreaks to go before meeting your one true love. I must have been in my sister’s shoes at least three times before I finally realized that love will come to your when you’re not looking for it. It did for me, and it will for my sister :)

Hello my darling Cinna-Buns!! The spring semester at the art school I go to just came to an end and now I’m back to making Polaroids on a daily basis :D 

I’ve missed these drawings so much. They’re my time to play around with different styles and experiment with techniques plus it’s getting me back in the art zone. Plus Honeybee is a cutie pie and her beautiful face needs to be drawn more ^/////^

About a week ago my sister blessed my family with a furry baby and he is the cutest little ball of fur. He likes to watch videos of himself and sink his claws into people’s pant legs apparently (Honeybee and I haven’t met him yet, he’s at my parent’s house) 

He’s cute until he tries to use your paintings as rectangular scratching boards....

I’m heading off to the land of Photoshop for the rest of the night to work on sketches for an art book I’m trying to start up! Night night Cinna-Buns!

My delicious Death Eater XD We took a few pictures at my college’s Harry Potter Prom and she looked absolutely gorgeous!! The tattoo is realy btw :)

**Update** The Polaroids will probably be released at a slower rate and Honeybee will be taking over most of the social media. This is because I have my final assignments coming up all at once and, well, school comes first. There will be a new video on Youtube on Wednesday though!!

I can’t image what we would’ve looked like together if we met three years ago. Hell, I wasn’t even eighteen yet XD Honeybee had the spike collar and combat boots while I had charm bracelets and pig tails. 

It’s strange to think what would have happened if we did meet three years or more ago. It definitely would have saved us both from heartache, but at the same time we met each other at a time when we were a lot more stable in life than we were in the past. 

And now look as us. We mellowed out a bit over those three years haha.

Our first finished pot of coffee...took us about a month of living together to reach that goal lol

We’re going to bed, it’s been a long day and we need our rest for the gym tomorrow. If someone told me three months ago that me and my girlfriend would wake up at 6:30 every morning to go exercise I’d have laughed in their face. It’s strange how things turn out :)

Our first commission!! This little guy is the cutest kid I’ve drawn so far in my artistic career and overall I really love the style. I used the same soft shading technique that I used with a previous “Breakfast” Polaroid.

Good Morning Cinna-Buns!!

We're off to the gym this morning! There's something so amazing and satisfying about waking up early, making a nice healthy breakfast, and working out with your girlfriend :) Sorry there was no Polaroid yesterday. You know you’re tired when your “Work in Progress” is a work in progress lol

Honeybee and I took a step in a healthier direction today and FINALLY hit the gym!! Two hours of leg extensions and squatting later, and we’re both exhausted. I know I’m tired beyond belief when I can���t finish a drawing all the way XD

                        ::Here are a few facts about the artwork::

Each Honeybee Polaroid took about an hour each to sketch, ink, AND color (about 9.5-10 hours total) Translated into Bunny words: That’s 10 hours without cuddling which was torture XD

The styles I chose (with help from Honeybee of course!) were Disney, Winx Club, Adventure Time, Monster High, NoFlutter, Sailor Moon, Ouran Host Club, Miraculous Ladybug (Tales from Paris 2D Version), and Tim Burton.

I took more creative liberties with the NoFlutter and Ouran versions. NoFlutter is one of my favorite artists with a particular style as well as a love for steampunk, so I added a similar steampunk twist to Honeybee’s design. With Ouran, I also gave her the uniform and made her look a bit more like Haruhi, though I initially used Renge as a reference.

Instead of using the 3d reference from Miraculous Ladybug or from the original pilot anime trailer, I opted to mimic the style of the mini Youtube shorts, “Tales from Paris” because it looked more unique compared to the anime styles I was already using.

I’ve been back on a true horror/ mysterious disappearances kick lately so the whole time I was drawing I was listening to either Let’s Read narrations, Cayleigh Elise’s Dark Matters Series, or Criminally Listed. Sort of a darker contrast to the kawaii Polaroids being created >w<

10 Styles Challenge!!! I picked a few different styles with the help of Honeybee of course, and must say I think I nailed them all for the most part. I want to do a second challenge with 10 new styles but that probably won’t be for a while!
