Hello there! How are you? As promised finished project, and it's actually my second painting this time with ink not watercolours. I find it a little bit easier to paint however there is a long way of errors and try in front of me! I think the hardest part was when I started, the first layer as I was a bit afraid to spill the ink and water over the edges in some part of painting so you can see the colours are sort of distorted or it looks like it's a bit damaged. It is actually a bit damaged as because I was too slow to paint everything the ink start to dry and I had to layer it down to get more or less same tone. And btw I still spilled some ink and the edges are a bit blurry 😅😂 Anyways, hope you like it, if you have any suggestions and useful tips to how to improve my paintings besides obvious "practice" please let me know. If you too just starting with ink/watercolour paintings or even drawings in general and struggle as me also let me know in comments down below! Forearm/calf design and couple more coming soon! Also I will post tomorrow colour version of this baby. Moth sketches with moon motive, one of couple of variations I've made. I finally managed to get myself together and draw systematically as I wanted. I can post almost every day or every 2 days without really pushing myself which is a nice change. I can see my improvement and that's one of the most important thing I actually achieved over couple of weeks!
