Will’s strength also lies in his emotional resilience. While some others might have been broken under the weight of being possessed by Vecna or the Mind Flayer, Will endures with quiet dignity. He doesn’t lash out or give up, he keeps showing up. He paints, he listens, and he expresses love in his own way, even when he feels left behind. That takes a different kind of courage. Will doesn’t need superpowers to be heroic; his strength is in surviving the unimaginable and still choosing kindness, loyalty, and love. He's literally the perfect main character for Stranger Things.

k, so y’know how theres the 1 pen but it has 4 different colours that you can click and unclick.

is there a version of this but instead of different colours it’s different nib sizes. So 0.1 than 0.5 and 3.0. Than maybe if theirs room a brush or a brush on the other side. Maybe make it refilable with whatever ink you have handy, so it’s economic

cause it’d be nice to not have to be constantly switching out pens when i’m out and about.

but the main reason is the more pens i have, the more pens i lose. One, one i can keep track of.

this scene is so funny to me but it’s also such great byler proof because it literally proves that the mike that joyce knows (will’s mike) is kind and sweet and incredibly caring, but the mike that hopper knows (el’s mike) is rude and abrasive. it shows that will really does bring out the best in mike

So you agree there’s parallels in their love story, that wills love is valid and that will is a possible love interest. Because in story telling the moment one character has a crash on another, they are now an option.

Would unify all their storylines. . .

how on the devils scorched earth would this in any way unify their storylines. Millie herself stated in an interview that El has constantly been changing herself to be what she is expected to be, what brennar wants , what hopper wants, what Mike wants. Her emotional growth has never been external, it has always been internal. She never had problem showing she cared, showing externL emotion. but she did struggle with knowing who she was. If she believed mike was the heart she would have told him so, that was never an issue. That is not her story, her story is to find herself, become independent, and decide who she wants to be. Max s3 -“not hopper, not mike, you.”

And will being the sad gay kid that goes off in to the background, silenty pining, not even getting a proper confession and resolution but instead getting a half assed one under the guise of El, as the straight couple rides off into the sunset = does not clear up his story line cause it’s not his storyline. Will needs to stop hiding in other peoples shadows, he needs to step forward learn how to use his voice. A silent confession is not him steeping forward, its him hiding again.

Also mikes journey to self worth, you mean his journey to . . . Self acceptance.

This is literally just taking wills story bylers story and slapping it onto mileven. If you ship mileven thats fine, ship and ket ship. but ship it for mileven reasons, don’t take byler evidence and slap a different coat of paint on it than go “ta-da Mileven” than go around going “bylers be delulu” when you’r literally using wills silent confession to mike.

i think the notable thing here is that he doesn’t have the black veins in his eyes which were a sign of the mind-flayers influence.

Possibly confirming that while he’s still connected to Vecna he’s no longer possessed/infected by the mindflayer (virus.) Which means he can actually be a proper spy this time.

the fact that most of this is volume one and not an inch of the finale episode tells me how crazy volume two is going to be. They’re really going full blast from the beginning like they said they would. The drama i can feel it coming. Can’t wait for volume one.

I still think weekly releases would be cooler and better for community engagement. But i’d rather volume drops over one big drop as it at least encourages some engagement.

though i understand why the GA who arent involved in fandom spaces would prefer one big drop.

were they trying to keep will hidden/protected from vecna? Is that one if the reasons why their in the military base. The voice could be out of sync, talking to el instead, but i don’t think so. El would be itching to find and kill vecna. Maybe they were ment to be a distraction while El’s in the upside down, figuring out how to kill the source.

Vecna's weakness is fire so i think he’s stopping the flames not causing them. In which case, someone either has a really string flame thrower (reasonable) or wills casting fireball.

i feel like the wider internet should learn more about the kingdom hearts series bc going into it i expected sora to be wildly different to how he actually is. i expected like a boy madoka crossed with deku mha vibe. this is not sora. sora lands in a foreign world at 14 after having his destroyed with him on it and immediately starts a fight with cid. sora has to be held back by his disney dads multiple times because he wont stop taunting the organization because he wants to murder them more. sora is actively insane about his boy bestfriend and frankly if riku tried to run off anymore than he actually did i believe that little sora could have and would have resorted to kidnapping. like ya hes kind and empathetic but his friends are his power and if needed he will use said power to snap a bitch in half.
