If the last episode of the Bad Batch isn’t at least an hour long. I firmly believe that THEY WILL RELEASE A BAD BATCH SPECIAL ON MAY 4TH.

You’re going to tell me that they did 16 episodes for both seasons 1 and 2 but ONLY 15 FOR THE FINAL SEASON? Nu-uh! There WILL BE A 16th EPISODE ON SATURDAY. MAY. THE. FOURTH.

But if I’m wrong. At least I can live with this delusion until the final episode😭

I still haven’t watched the new episode of mandalorian yet and it’s purely because of the emotional trauma tbb season 2 finale put me through.

tbb finale fucked me up so bad that i cant watch the mandalorian tonight. how tf does that happen

Honestly they split up Hunter and Crosshair early on in TBB because everyone knew they would be unstoppable together.

Crosshair: “Nice of you to join the land of the living. You’re la…Tech? Tech! What are you doing??”

Tech, climbing onto Crosshair’s back, strapping the chip scanner to his head: “You had your chip removed my ass. I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Tech reading to you/reading with Tech headcanons

Happy tech tuesday ya'll!!

-Tech loves reading to you.

-Either it be on the way somewhere or when you're alone, he just loves reading to you.

-He'll keep books around

and is always picking up more books.

-Tech loves just reading but it's always better when he's reading to you.

-He's a fast reader so you'll have to ask him to slow down sometimes if you aren't caught up.

-When he realises how fast he's reading he'll pause and re-read the part you missed.

-He loves spending this time with you being able to be with you reading to you because you don't often get that.

-He’ll often info-dump about the book and he’ll sometimes worry you’ll be annoyed.

but like every time he info-dumps, you always listen to his every word, and the little worry he has will disappear.

You love to read with Tech

-The two of you will just sit together in silence, only sometimes chiming in to say something you like about either of your books.

-It's nice to be able to do something together, especially reading.

because there's just something so special about being in eachothers company and doing something that you both love together.

'Cause while you do other things together, reading is your thing.

-Being able to escape away in your own worlds while still feeling so connected.

-Being able to share your thoughts about your books without getting weird looks and uninterested glances.

-It's so intimate without it being intimate, if that makes sense?

-Tech just loves being able to read with someone who won't be uninterested, who actually loves doing what he loves.

-and while it doesn't often happen enough when you do read together it's like the world has stopped and it's only you two.

Geralt Giving Jaskier a Witcher Potion: Headcannon

Doing some research on the different potions from the Witcher and learnt how Swallow will cause brain damage if consumed by a human. This is all angst no comfort but 😇 💕

They were attacked by an Archgriffin after settling down for the night

Geralt had given Jaskier the swallow potion after the wounds were too deep for the lack of equipment in their saddle. There was nothing else to keep him alive

The potion had regenerated and healed the injuries from the Archgriffin’s claws but Jaskier’s motionless body was giving Geralt second thoughts

When the first light of dawn broke, the potion had already healed the bard but only the hum of his heartbeat told Geralt that he was still alive. 

They rode to the nearest healer in town and the elderly lady looked Geralt with regretful eyes as she described how the potion was not done with the bard

Vesemir had once told him the risks that came with giving a human a witcher potion and despite his repetitive remarks to never let someone who was not their kin consume the potions, some were not as deadly as the others. Geralt believed that if Jaskier, who ran into trouble every other day, was able to stay alive for two decades on hunts and other troubles, then the potion was not going to be the reason his bard would not sing again

The potion was slowly destroying Jaskier’s brain and the eyes that used to hold so much excitement and wonder were now lethargic as they stared into the blanket

On the rare occasions where Geralt was forced by the healer to get fresh air, he lingered by a merchant in the market that was selling books from travelling bards, poets, and other misguided souls with a story to share

He picked up the book Ballad and Hymns and started to read to Jaskier as his cloudy eyes looked out the window. Geralt wanted to imagine that if Jaskier was able to talk, he would be making fun of his wrong pronunciations and improper tones when depicting characters

When he finished reading that book, he went back and picked up another. The merchant gave suggestions and wondered aloud what a wonderful being Geralt was reading to that caused him to come back every week in search of another read

Geralt managed to contact Yennefer who only placed a hand on his shoulder as the healer’s words were repeated into his ear

“It would save you both the trouble and pain if you would just end it here. He doesn’t need to suffer more than he already has.”

“It was supposed to work Yen. He was supposed to be the exception.”

The mage knew a lost cause when she saw one and felt a pang of sorrow as her eyes followed the witcher’s calloused fingers push Jaskier’s hair out of his face

“I know you disapprove of portals, but you cannot stay in an unnamed town as you await the inevitable. I could take you and the bard somewhere?”

Geralt thought of the coast and how Jaskier would always talk fondly of the sea. Maybe the clearer air would do them both some good 

Yennefer left the two with a cottage that she built with magic. Whether it was pity or empathy Geralt did not care

The two of them stayed there for a few weeks before Jaskier was no longer able to keep his eyes open before the sun began to set

Geralt ran out of books from the pile that he brought with him so he went back to Roach’s saddlebag and took out Jaskier’s songbook

They sat in the sand where the water would hit their feet and calloused fingers ran through pages of musical notes, doodles, and anecdotes from strangers in town

Nose burrowing into the bard’s hair, Geralt read aloud the song that Jaskier was working on the night they were attacked. He wondered about the songs that would be left unsung, the lute that was sitting in the corner of the bedroom gathering dust, his heart sank when he realized the memory of Jaskier’s voice was slowly fading

They sat there as dusk was approaching, the bard’s warmth against his chest as they looked out into the sea

The day his bard left was fast approaching but Geralt was going to make every day before then dedicated to memorizing the rhythm of Jaskier’s heartbeat and the scent that calmed his senses and told him that everything was going to be alright
