A hand launches itself upwards through the dirt, trying to grab anything at all. It finds a sharp rock, enough to blood let but the hand is desperate for leverage. Next is a head breaking through, the mud blending in with the black hair and of course there is screaming. The other arm has finally made its way to the surface and holds onto the dead bits of grass like suspension lines. The person, if you can call it that, looks up at you and opens its mouth to say, "Hey! I think I'm back from hiatus!"

Really went from this hyperfixation, To this hyperfixation.

I mean, they're both adopted men, where basically all of their friends/loved ones work at the same place (The Daily Planet, Miami Metro Homicide), who have pretty extraordinary abilities that come along with a secret life, and who see non-tangible versions of their fathers (Clark with the hologram of Zor-El, Dexter with the "Ghost" of Harry) (And that's all the similarities I could bother writing.)

I legit found out about Rooster Teeth being sold, said "I'm going to need a little to process before posting about RWBY again" and then RWBY was bought before I could fully do that lol. Anyways I'm back, nice that RWBY may be making a return :).

I have this hc where ruby's eyes glow in the dark and only weiss gets scared by it because yang is used to it and blake's eyes glow a bit as well

RWBY has done some really beautiful things with foreshadowing, so that's why I think that Ruby should defeat Saleem by accidentally sneezing fire because of dust just like s1e2.

What if Ruby never got over her failings and self-doubt in the Ever After, leading her to attempt to rebuild Penny, over and over again, and when she finally succeeds in building "Penny" is just a shell because Ruby can't figure out how to find/get Penny's aura back. This sends her down another rabbit hole trying to bring back Penny (because if Penny is alive she can live with herself a little easier).

You something ironic I noticed is that for how prevalent "x weapon is also a gun" is in rwby's world building, very few characters in this show die from being shot. Most of the characters who die die from bladed weapons, by grimm or something else entirely. The only two named characters who died from gunshots* were Sleet and Jacques, and even then, Jacques wasn't really shot so much as vaporized by a plasma gun. This isn't a knock against the show or anything and doesn't really matter in the end, but you'd think gunshot wounds/deaths would be more common in this show.

*Pyrrha and Amber were also shot, but by arrows, not guns.

Makes so much sense that Ruby being smug makes it look like she's ZOOTED. On that note, -Weiss' bangs look like they are about to fly off into the high heavens -Blake is definitely smoking an invisible cigarette -And Yang, I'm so sorry, looks like she's about to skin that cat from season 9

Spoilers for RWBY Volume 8 Final

Just started Volume 9 of RWBY but like imagine if Volume 9 was never released. Volume 8 was just the end, just as it is with no changes. You watch something for 10 years (or like me, a month-ish) and all of the mains fall into the fucking void.

"I have always looked up to you Ruby, and I still do." "Thanks Blake." They both precede to get their asses beat but awww. I ship almost everyone in RWBY it's a problem aa- So many good moments in 8x08 but I can't add them because my laptop can barely handle taking these screenshots.

I'm not saying that it won't be good and I'm not saying that I don't love David Tennant as The Doctor, HOWEVER THE FEAR that it won't be good. Wow. Almost as strong as the disappointment that it's being released on Disney+.
