One of the bigger projects I’ve been involved with (Even took the lead on this project in a team). This is from the works of Sheffield’s own “Flycheese Studios”. What follows is a conversation piece similar to that of Nick Park’s “Creature Comforts”, in which Staff and Students (one of which is myself, see if you can figure me out) chat about their experiences with Animation, what they love and what cartoons and animations they love. Enjoy!

Ay up people! Been a while! I’ve had so many ideas, so many animations in the works. Here’s one of those ideas, a little spoof on the famous Marmite Advert starring the late Roy Skelton as Zippy from “Rainbow”. My ponderings were “What if you actually took Zippy’s voice and turned it into a Dalek”. And low and behold! this is the product.

In recent news during BoJo’s and May’s HS2 planning, a protester has been caught helping our labour cause by ramming into the side of the House of Lords in a desperate attempt to destroy the plans, tories have informed police to look for a suspect that is short, stumpy and blue in appearance...

Thought I’d have some fun with our new Doctor, so I went back in time to June 2017, to thwart the Master... you see he was in League with the BBC, and I’ve altered the course of history and now Peter Capaldi has regenerated into Robson Green, restoring order to the timestream!
I think I’m the first person to do an official rule 63 on the 13th Doctor (something which I will lovingly hog onto till the end of time). I wanted to have a look as a “what if”, so I went with a name dropped by Jon Culshaw during a prank call to Peter Davison.
Frankly I honestly prefer the Doctor as a male like the majority does too (please don’t bash me, I’m am an animator before a Whovian, so I’m always 5 awards ahead of what Chris Chibnall will ever be XD) , that’s why I did a rule 63... I’m a little skeptical of Jodie as she doesn’t look too charismatic as the Doctor... and I abhor the innate bullying of fans by the BBC... Rule number one of getting people to accept a female doctor... don’t let them get called sexist or brexit voters!

Meet Roddy, Georgie and Ruthie! My three enterprising steam trains who helped earn me my overall 2:1 for animation... and on record the FIRST Talking Trains used to solely promote Aspergers Syndrome (something I bear a self proclaimed title for) with the story developed as early as late 2014 as a PSA style piece for Autism Awareness aimed primarily on little kids with developing minds. Initially based on childhood memories of anthropomorphism in Animated Series and Serials and a 7 1/4 inch railway located in my local woods. These three trains were based on REAL engines that ran on the line. Each character had their own design reflecting a time period, Roddy represented the look of a 1950′s Train Driver, Georgie became a visual reference of the late great George Harrison (also making a subtle reference to fellow Beatle Ringo Starr who isn’t unfamiliar to hanging around talking trains) with his Sgt. Pepper 60′s look (complete with George’s Tri-Corner hat with feather), while Ruthie reflected the clashing 80′s/90′s fashion statements of the earth with hints of Cyndi Lauper thrown in for good measure.
Taking inspirations from films and animated films like Robots, and animated series usually penned by Bill Hanna and Joe Barbera.
I’m currently in the process of fixing the final piece and dubbing it “The Overhauled Edition”, intended for release to YouTube around Christmas time this year.

A piece of work I unearthed off of Pinterest from my old Deviantart days, this was my gem out of all the works as it was my first professional piece of art... as lots of the other pieces of work were memes...
The basis was the ORIGINAL 1968 edition of the trailer for Yellow Submarine complete with a shot of Ringo that never made it into the final cut...

An Original character I created here in 2014 for my studies, based off of my own university card. I named him “Stu the SHU card”, for a piece advertising the University’s library.

Just before Xmas I completed an animated comedy sketch piece, comprising of various Lego Franchises, From newcomers like Doctor Who and Beatles to classics like Star Wars, it’s a little cheesy but the narrator’s jokes are quite funny, and the animation is flawless!

A bit of character design I did back in 2015, I have a feeling it’s like “Brave” meets “The Incredibles”.
