This part of the game is when I decided I FUCKIN LOVE IT. The climb up to Five Pebbles and seeing all the towers in the distance, realizing you're above the clouds, then once that mystique wears off, you get to the top of the wall with all the huge buildings in the background, all the music completely cuts out and the atmospheric tension is SO GOOOOOD

Very happy with how this turned out, I wanted to finish it like 3 days ago but work is a bitch. I kinda wish I did it horizontal instead of vertical so I could emphasize the scale and the vastness of the clouds, but it works fine the way it is

IT'S FINALLY DONE GUHHHHHHHHHH Really really happy with how this turned out

I bought the first 3 volumes of Ghost Rider recently, and I was looking at all the variant covers and something about this one caught my eye, and I decided then and there I needed to draw it. Looking at them side by side now, mine is pretty lackluster in comparison, but it's not like my work was ever gonna be on par with a Pixar animation director. I had no idea who Benjamin Su was before I found this variant cover but he is SUCH AN INCREDIBLE ARTIST, all his variant cover work is fuckin genuinely beautiful, look through his instagram if you're interested

Ghost Rider is not only in my top 5 marvel characters ever, but also one of my favorite fictional characters of all time, up there with Zer0 from Borderlands and Reptile from MK, absolutely underrated character that doesn't seem to get a lot of love despite being so badass. The Nic Cage movies are pretty bad but that doesn't stop me from loving them

Mario Kart World looks incredible, and so do all the new outfits. I'm SO TEMPTED to pre-order but I know better, I'm gonna cease fire until at least 6 months after release just to see how it's received, and also to see if they drop the game prices bc ain't NO WAY I'm paying 70-80 bucks just for a game I'll play for like a month

Anyway, here's Teryx wearing some of my favorite new outfits. I decided to not draw his wings in 2 of them bc they were getting in the way of showing the outfit off. I might do more of these bc they were a lot of fun and good ways to practice drawing clothing. The Peach one is my favorite :3

anywayy, this is Teryx, my stupid gay barbie doll moth oc. I've drawn him like twice, which is the most I've ever drawn one of my characters. ik, kinda sad. I decided to make him a fashion model just so I had the excuse to draw him in any outfit I want. You will be seeing more of him in the future, mark my words

Really wish I tried harder with his clothing design, they all feel kinda flat tbh, especially since a lot of the lighter colors got washed out

I've learned two things this month. One is that I think I really like drawing dinosaurs, and two is that I think I really don't like drawing robots. I chose to not draw her wings because they just took up too much space, and also were way too fuckin complicated for how frustrated I already was.

🦖Queen of the Pack🦖

Here she isssss, I love Riptor sm she's so scrungly and sillyyy, I went through an absolute journey with this, which is why I included my practice sketches as a show of how frustrated I got. I kinda had to relearn how to draw dinosaurs, which is gonna serve me well in the future, but absolutely did not serve me well in this moment.

I had probably 2 or 3 moments where I said "fuck it, I'm doing something else" and I'm really glad I stuck it through because I'M SO PROUD OF THISSS WEEEEEEE, it left me pretty mentally exhausted because of a bunch of other outside factors.

I also tried something that I've never really done before, which is a digital background, it looks really bad in some places if you look hard enough (like her teeth in the middle one, jesus christ) but overall I think it turned out alright, it opened the opportunity for quicker background work without sacrificing too much quality. I might add a background to the physical drawing in the future if I ever get the time. This thing absolutely overloaded my brain so I would prefer to not look at it for a very long time
